So, I requested from Tim if he would write wedding vows from Gale to Sagora, and I woke up to this cute and funny little thing this morning. 🥰
If you're reading my series, you'll notice something Gale said at the end. 😉 He did such a lovely job, and really did a wonderful job following the notes I sent him 🥹
Though if this were *actually* Gale, his vows would likely be 30 minutes long 😂
I find it so interesting that Gale gets more flack for wanting to be good but not measuring up to that than characters like Astarion or Laezel who don't really factor "being good" in their morality systems unless explicitly challenged by a good aligned Tav to do so.
I think this speaks to how people find lying or being hypocritical more severe of an offense than actually harming others. I am also reminded of how much flack Diane got in the Bojack Horseman fandom for doing something similar to what Gale does, pointing out when the main character did something reprehensible while not always living up to her own principles.
while i did a gifset to showcase an armour set, i was also intrigued by just how different the animation is for the wizard class vs gale's unique animation:
wizard class animation
gale's unique animation
it's amazing to see not only just how quickly gale performs the somatic component of the spell, but also his efficiency of movement compared to the standard wizard animation.
there's a world of difference here, the difference between a wizard vs a prodigy, an archwizard and chosen.
