Literally anything from when I wrote for the Devil Judge. Pretty much all of my fics in that fandom blew up, especially the first fic I had ever written Wait, We're Married?!. It has so many hits and kudos, it's almost a little ridiculous

Um...I wouldn't say any of my fics were hard on me, but there were a few fics that I wrote where I'm like...damn that's dark. I think the fic that answers this question is You're Safe Now. The prompt for it originally was dark anyways, but then I had to take it to like...the next level and I'm just like...mm. That's a little dark even for you.

Tattoo on My Arm and In My Heart - this fic was so self indulgent but I love it. The idea for it literally came from watching a BTS video of Chen Yucheng and Quan Pei Lun and I noticed that Chen Yucheng had a tattoo on his forearm. It was like my first tattoo artist fic but I loved it and I had fun writing it

Stolen Hearts - another Junchun fic and I'm kind of sad this one doesn't have more kudos because it's like Prince!Zhan Junbai x Thief!Yu Tangchun! What's not to love? But I'm happy with how it turned out and I really enjoyed the ending of it

(But I'm also not surprised that these have not as many kudos; I think I'm one of the few rare people who write Junchun fics and Junchun fics never get as many kudos as Yuezhi fics. But that's okay. I still love writing them and will keep writing them)

My review of Falling into You // 炽道

Falling into You is a story about a university high jump athlete named Duan Yucheng (played by Wang Anyu) and an assistant coach named Luo Na (played by Jin Chen). As they navigate athletic challenges and work together towards their dreams, their relationship takes a romantic turn.

Their dynamic as a couple is so funny and pure and real! It’s such a funny drama and the comedic timing is spot on, but they also have fantastic chemistry.

The sports and romance storylines combine in a beautiful way. In their athlete/coach relationship, they insist on absolute trust in each other. He is her favourite and she is his inspiration. As the romance between them grows, they (especially Luo Na) worry about the complications, but the affection they have for each other also adds to their trust and passion as athletic professionals.

There’s something quite endearing and realistic about Duan Yucheng as a male lead character. The drama does not shy away from the age difference. He definitely has some immature qualities, especially at the beginning of the story, but that’s also what makes him stubborn and shameless enough to win over Luo Na.

For me, the sports storyline was just as important as the romance. Maybe it’s because I tend to get emotionally invested when I watch sports. But seeing the challenges that Duan Yucheng faces, his persistence, his mental state, the metrics in his training, etc. made me feel super invested in his career. I watched his competition scenes with the same nervous energy that I have when I watch actual sports.

And, at least to my untrained eye, the sports storyline was incredibly realistic. There are so many details including each athlete’s rituals and habits, their limitations, their strengths, etc. and they got real athletes to play the supporting characters.

The soundtrack!!! I’m thinking of both the ost and the existing songs that the director chose for specific scenes. Songs are not just background music in this drama. They set the rhythm and the tone, and there are some really effective beat drops in high-stakes scenes. I’m thinking of scenes like Duan Yucheng racing Li Ge to recruit him, or Duan Yucheng’s high-jump at the national championships.

I want to point out how great Wang Anyu’s line delivery is. As a former broadcasting major, he speaks with a lot of clarity and precision, even in his most emotional moments. But he also has a subtle accent in Mandarin which gives his lines a gentle feel.

But seriously, I mean it when I say that this drama is really funny. I read a really accurate comment that was like: “Sure, it’s an idol drama, but it’s a Jin Chen idol drama.”

The ending felt a bit rushed. I’m not sure if I found it very satisfying, but that didn’t change how much I enjoyed the rest of the drama!

(The steamier scenes were done really well and I’m glad they were able to keep them in haha)

Der erste Radwettbewerb der Etappe beginnt

Das Ya'an International Road Cycling Race 2023 „Rund um die Ancient Tea Horse Road“ wird eröffnet. Der Erfolg der vorangegangenen drei Veranstaltungen wurde von allen Gesellschaftsschichten weithin anerkannt und bot Radfahrern und  in radsportbekleidung günstig Radsportbegeisterten in Radtrikots eine breite Bühne.

Am Tag der Eröffnungszeremonie startete das erste Rennen der Yucheng-Etappe. 32 Spitzenteams und 185 Radfahrer aus der ganzen Welt versammelten sich, um sich im Radsport zu messen. Nach 100 Kilometern harter Konkurrenz gewann R IM Mihkel vom Feirui Mongolian Team schließlich die Yucheng-Etappe in 1 Stunde, 58 Minuten und 51 Sekunden und gewann damit die erste Einzeletappenmeisterschaft der Tour of Ya'an 2023. Nach dem Spiel sagte er: Das Wetter in Ya'an war heute gut und die Straßenverhältnisse waren gut, also habe ich eine sehr konstante Leistung erbracht. Knapp dahinter folgten Nicolas Marini vom NMTA-Team und PREVAR oleksandr vom SCOM-Team, die auf der Rain City-Etappe den zweiten bzw. dritten Platz belegten. Gleichzeitig gewann Chen Libin vom KUNG Intercontinental Team die beste Zeit im Großraum China auf der verregneten Stadtetappe in 2 Stunden, 1 Minute und 43 Sekunden.

“To stand in the hallways as punishment”  Common punishment in Chinese schools is to make students stand outside the classroom, in the hallways with their arms up and stand there still their next class. Usually after that the punished student have to write a written reflection.

Honour Wall Its like a wall of fame, but is just to commemorate students achievements and accomplishment at the school.

WIP Tag Game

The Demon and the Angel - this is my newest WIP and the one I am currently putting pretty much all of my creative energy into right now.  Like, I can’t stop writing it.  It’s basically a demon/angel au + detective au because I love both and I’m surprised I hadn’t done one yet.  Demon!Jiang Yuelou x Angel!Chen Yuzhi with lots of angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, domesticity...it’s got everything.  It is a mature fic due to the contents (it’s a detective au/cafe fic so like...shit’s gonna get dark).  The draft is currently at 22K and I genuinely have no idea how long this thing is gonna be.  It might be longer than The Detective and the Assassin, since that one was like 23.6K but who knows

 恨君不似江楼月 | Killer and Healer - my baby, my precious, my Killer and Healer rewrite.  We’re currently at 77 chapters and I’m also currently working on the next chapter but because I’m at the cringey part of ep. 16 where Zhao Moqing is trying to seduce Jiang Yuelou by acting helpless next to her car, I stopped working on it.  But I will get back to it...once I’m tired of working on The Demon and the Angel

I Could Never Forget You - Amnesia au/Temporary memory loss where Jiang Yuelou gets hurt during a case and forgets that he's married to Chen Yuzhi.  Chen Yuzhi is hurt but doesn't try to force the relationship, even though everyone else is like bruh, Jiang Yuelou is dating someone else; someone who is not you.  Jiang Yuelou thankfully regains his memory whenever he finds out Chen Yuzhi is hurt and in the hospital

My Pirate, My Prince -  based off of this ask.  I've written a pirate au for Junchun, where it's pirate!Zhan Junbai x mermaid!Yu Tangchun, but I haven't written a pirate au for Yuezhi yet.  And I had a story written before semi-plotted out like a year ago but I just wasn't feeling it.  But this one?  Oh, I'm feeling this one

Prettiest Flower in Town - Florist!Chen Yuzhi x Triad Leader!Jiang Yuelou.  Funny story, I was actually working on this WIP when the idea for The Demon and the Angel popped into my head.  But, I love me some mafia aus so obviously there has to be more, right?  You can never have enough mafia aus

So This Is What Love Feels Like - Jiang Yuelou has a crush on Chen Yuzhi but he has no idea what the feeling inside of him is (it's love, Jiang Yuelou.  It's love) so he asks Song Rong, who is definitely not the person to ask, but he plays "dumb" and says that Jiang Yuelou should go see Chen Yuzhi because whatever he's experiencing sounds "serious".  Pour one out for Song Rong, best fucking wingman in the Jing City Police Department

Stake Me Through the Heart - it’s a vampire au but it's a twist!  Vampire Hunter!Jiang Yuelou x Vampire!Chen Yuzhi.  My past vampire aus have been where Jiang Yuelou has been the vampire but not this time!  I'm actually quite excited for this one because I've never written a vampire hunter x vampire fic before, it's always been vampire x human so...I'm gonna have fun.  Oh, there is gonna be angst in this fic, I can tell you that much

Tattoo on My Arm and In My Heart - this is just the title for now, but it's Tattoo Artist!Zhan Junbai x Street Singer!Yu Tangchun.  I actually got this idea when watching one of the many Killer and Healer behind the scene clips and noticed that of the main four, Chen Yucheng is the only one who has tattoos on his arms.  So...tada!  Idea is born, all from literally staring at an actor's tattoos on his forearms (writers are weird man, ideas come from anywhere)

You're a Good Father, Jiang Yuelou - Single Father!Chen Yuzhi x Police Chief!Jiang Yuelou.  Don't know why I wanted to write this fic but I just feel like it needs to be written.  Of course it's gonna be fluffy because there's baby Keying involved but there's also gonna be angst (because it's me and because we need to get Jiang Yuelou's past involved, obvi)

Nothing Can Separate Me From You - I don't know if I'll write this one, it's there in my WIP folder but basically the premise of this one is Zhao Moqing is doing her damndest to try and get Jiang Yuelou all for herself by giving him gifts or following him (and just being creepy) but unfortunately he's in love with Chen Yuzhi and that pisses her the fuck off.  So she actually ends up causing a rift between the two by kissing Jiang Yuelou suddenly in front of Chen Yuzhi and that's a whole mess...she thinks she's got Jiang Yuelou all to herself now but nope!  He's still very much so in love with Chen Yuzhi.  So Zhao Moqing decides to frame Chen Yuzhi with opium and get him arrested and when that plan fails, she flies off the handle at Chen Yuzhi and demands to know how Chen Yuzhi got Jiang Yuelou to be so devoted to him because she's done everything, even framing Chen Yuzhi with opium, to get Jiang Yuelou to pay attention to her but it's not working.  Little does she know that Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi planned the whole arrest thing to get her to incriminate herself so she gets arrested and Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi go home for cuddles and apologies

High School Au - based off of this ask.  I don't know if I'm going to write this one either but I have thoughts and I just have to detail them out better I think.  But I'm pretty sure the K&H fandom doesn't have a high school au yet and if it doesn't have one, that means I probably have to write one
