what your favorite homra boy says about you:
Mikoto: you want someone hot and masculine, but you’re also someone who’s happy with the bare minimum of being acknowledged with a grunt
Kusanagi: you want a man. a man who knows what he’s doing. a man who can wine and dine you. a man who doesn’t believe in paying 50/50 for dates
Totsuka: you like guys who aren’t afraid to be soft and serene, serenading you with his melodious voice and delicate features, while he gets away with whatever he wants. you also really like femboys
Yata: you love the angry bad boy with a soft side just for you, or you love a feisty boy who gets all red and shy when he’s squirming under you
Kamamoto: you want a boyfriend who supports your rights and your wrongs. a partner who enjoys cooking and eating with you. someone who probably ghosts you for his friends tbh
Akagi: you want a golden retriever bf with a rebellious edge. you also seem to have a thing for boys with messy hair tucked under baseball caps and a sense of adventure
Bandou: you like the brooding type with dark hair who’s also brash, insecure, and easy to dominate. the tsundere type who rolls his eyes at you with a blush on his face
Chitose: you either want to have a fun time and live your hot girl summer or you’re a masochist because you think you can fix broken boys
Dewa: you like the brooding type with dark hair (x2), but with a higher self esteem and the fashion sense of a 2013 transplant moving to nyc with their parent’s trust fund money
Eric: you like your boys to be emotionally vulnerable so that you can easily manipulate them, or you just like boys with a sassy tongue and a sharp knife
Fujishima: you value stability and warmth and would rather grow old with tons of fur babies than an actual human baby

Hi there ! Do you think anyone in Homra would mind a 3 years age gap ?
Hey there, anon! Thank you so much for sending something in! I really appreciate it.
Overall, I really don’t think most of them would ultimately care about such a very small age gap as adults. Now, when they were younger, that might be something that would bother most of them. For example, as 14-year-olds just going into high school, most of them couldn’t dream of dating a middle schooler. Fresh out of high school, most of them wouldn’t date someone who was still back in high school. It’s more that they’re really in two separate phases of life that it wouldn’t enter most of the boys minds.
Mikoto and Totsuka both don’t really date a lot but I don’t think age really matters much to either of them, unless it’s a really noticeable age gap – anything more than 5 years apart, or if the person was underage, for example.
I feel like Izumo mostly goes for people a little younger than him most times anyway. It’s going to be rare to see him go for anyone older than him, but of course, everything depends on the person.
Yata and Kamamoto both tend to date more around their own age group. There’s unlikely to be huge age gaps in relationships either has.
Shouhei, Bandou, and Chitose don’t really care about age. If the person is a consenting adult, they’re attracted physically, the person catches their interest, and in Shouhei and Bandou’s case, they can hold an intelligent conversation, that’s all that will really matter to these boys.
That being said, I do think Chitose goes through a phase where he’s really, really into ‘cougars’ but never takes them more seriously than just being a sexual plaything.
Dewa and Eric, meanwhile, are generally more attracted to people older than them and I could see at least one or more of their relationships having an age gap with them being the younger. Dewa has that attitude that older people are more mature and by dating them and being taken seriously by them as a person, of course that means he’s mature and put together and an ‘adult’ as well. That and, given how much time he’s spent with Chitose, Dewa might actually have that slight sexual fantasy of being a ‘boy toy’ for an older, more experienced, partner who will teach him the ropes and take charge of their own pleasure.

I feel like the homra boys would love having someone fussing over them and their injuries after fighting. Imagine a non-fighting member who is female and also a nurse who spends her off time at the bar patching the guys up after they get in a scuffle, be it with each other or the Blue Clan I can just see them fawning over being taken care of and loved on by the caring nurse. Yata would want nothing to do with her until she showed him just how tough of a woman she is after she patched up two nasty bullet wounds on shouhei while keeping him calm as she patched him up. Chitose has most definitely hit on her, and to no one's surprise, she declined his advances. Eric's sass is always at a minimum when she's at the bar as well. Eric likes to follow her around the bar as she does her work because her kindness reminds him of his mom. Bando gets salty whenever he tries to show off, and her attention is taken off him. Bando and Eric are in constant competition for her attention. Dewa quite likes the nurses' company and quiet talks in the evenings. Dewa is also quite happy for there to be another person to watch after Chitose and his dumb decisions. Kamamoto learns some of the various medical techniques that she uses after he expressed he wanted to learn to help her. Kosuke and the nurse sneak stays into the bar to patch them up and find them homes. Mr. Kusanagi finds her to have been a wise addition to the Red clan and is happy to FINALLY have one person with common sense. Mr. Kusanagi appreciates all her help around the bar and with the others. Anna likes to have someone around whom she can talk to about various things. Anna and the nurse often go on shopping trips because the nurse loves to spoil her. Mikoto doesn't mind her except when she nags him about his laziness and smoking habits. Tatara takes up the hobby of finding medical plants and how to use them to help lower the cost of her medical supplies.
Don't steal my work or post it as your own

K - ONE YEAR LATER
CHAPTER 6: RIKIO KAMAMOTO'S QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (BY SUZUKI SUZU)
* List of Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
A year has passed since then.
"Hey, are we dating?"
Rikio Kamamoto's words instantly froze the previously peaceful atmosphere of the dining table.
The smile of his father, who was in a good mood after drinking alcohol, faded, and his mother, who was always kind, looked at Kamamoto with a confused face. And then his childhood friend, Nunohashi Ayumi, who was sitting next to Kamamoto and trying to serve him food wearing an apron, froze in the air of the room and couldn't move at all.
Kamamoto was the one who was surprised by her reaction. He even thought that he had said something weird.
The sight of Ayumi helping the Kamamoto family with dinner and sharing with them had become a daily sight. They were originally close to each other like family, but after last year's decisive battle with "Jungle", they started to go back and forth with the Kamamoto family. Ayumi was on good terms with his parents, and they often ate together, so she didn't really care, but...
It all started when the topic of marriage came up a lot recently.
A friend's sister got married, this type of ceremony is popular these days, wedding rings are inexpensive and should last a long time, etc. Not only Ayumi, but also Kamamoto's parents were eager to bring up the subject.
Kamamoto was just listening to the story; he ate quietly without thinking about anything. Will Ayumi turn 17 or 18 this year? Marriage is still a long way off, and she'll probably be single before then, but he wondered if it's just the girls who get excited.
The weather turned weird when his mother touched Kamamoto on his shoulder,
"Stay strong too, okay? I won't forgive you if you make Ayumi cry."
He wondered why she said that.
Huh? He thought. Why would he be making Ayumi cry? She is a childhood friend who is almost like a little sister, and although he has protected her from being bullied by the bad guys in her neighborhood, he had never made her cry.
And his father, who was sitting at the dining room table drinking beer, was making fun of him.
"That's right, you! Don't fool me! If you do something like that, Nunohashi's old man will beat you up!"
"I'll kick you out of my house too! If you're so inhuman, you're not my son anymore!"
Then Ayumi, who was sitting next to Kamamoto, interceded with a smile.
"Okay, father-in-law and mother-in-law. Ri-chan doesn't do that. For a long time, he's always been by my side."
"Is that so? Well, it's fine if Ayumi says so."
"Please take care of this boy, Ayumi-chan. Even though he looks like this, he is a bit careless. Keep putting him in his place."
"That's... Ah, Ri-chan, you'll eat more. Do you want a large portion?"
His doubts kept piling up. These three seemed to know a truth that he did not. To confirm that, Kamamoto opened his mouth...
It seemed to be related to what he said at the beginning.
Beyond that, he didn't want to remember too much. The crockery flew with a roar, the father grabbed Kamamoto's head and rubbed it against the tatami, and he bowed. His mother's face turned bright red with anger, and Ayumi gently wiped away her tears with the edge of her apron, but she still wore a stubborn smile.
He dragged himself away from his furious parents, which was how Kamamoto finally rushed to the HOMRA bar.
++++++++++
Kamamoto asked with a serious expression after he finished telling the story.
"So what's the bottom line? Are you and Ayumi dating?"
"I do not know!"
Bando slammed his fist on the counter and yelled.
"What are you doing, Kamamoto-san, are you selling a fight?! I buy it, no matter how old you are, there are good things and bad things about it!"
"No, it may not be like that... Did I say something wrong?"
Bando's mouth opened wide and he was speechless, and began to tremble. His eyes were so full of murderous intent that he could tell even through his sunglasses.
"It's frustrating...! Why does such an insensitive bastard have such a cute childhood friend and I don't have one? Why does God allow such an imbalance?!"
Seeing Bando cry, Kamamoto scratched his head in embarrassment. Chitose, who was sitting next to Bando, muttered in amazement.
"You shouldn't consult with Bando..."
"Is that so? I'm sorry, Bando."
"Don't apologize, it will make me miserable!"
"Kamamoto. Don't insist."
"Oh, sure..."
He didn't quite get it, but Kamamoto decided to leave Bando alone anyway. He asks Chitose who was lying down.
"Hey, what do you think, Chitose?"
Chitose shrugged, stirred the coffee lightly,
"No, I don't know either. I don't even know Ayumi-chan."
"I see... Well, that's right."
"Well, there were times when I didn't know if we were dating or not. I've said the same lines as Kamamoto. I got beat up most of the time."
After saying that, Chitose laughed. He is playboy enough to compete with Kusanagi in "Homura". In fact, he must choose who to consult with. Asking Bando about women is the same as asking Yata about math problems.
"But those kinds of things usually happen, well, they happen after you've done something. Kamamoto, you didn't mess with Ayumi-chan, did you?"
Kamamoto responded sullenly.
"Obviously not! She's not like that, she's like a little sister!"
"Don't be mad at me, I just wanted to confirm. So, well, if you're doing nothing, is your relationship nothing? I don't know what the other side thinks."
"How are you like this? Chitose..."
With a voice that echoed from the depths of hell, Bando rebooted. He looked at Chitose with eyes that looked like burning flames and brought his face close to him.
"I know, recently there's a girl with good feelings! And besides! She's not like you! Are you saying that you're seriously dating?"
Unusually, Chitose's face suddenly turned red.
"Eh?" Kamamoto thought unexpectedly, stepping aside. Kamamoto knew it, but judging by Chitose's reaction, it seemed like a serious relationship.
Chitose said he was a playboy, but he was a womanizer at best. He should have repeated it over and over, just to spend the night together, but what kind of exchange did he have in mind?
Chitose turned his head away as if to hide his embarrassment from him.
"I don't care; it doesn't matter what kind of relationship people have."
"Not good! You're Chitose... if you're a womanizer, that's fine! It's fine if you take women around! It's good! I'll envy you too much!"
"You're such a scum..."
Chitose said that since he was quite shocked, while Bando fell on the counter and started crying.
"Tell me! No, I'm sorry, please tell me! I might find it useful...!"
"Ah. Well, that's fine."
Chitose said that as if he had lost his mind, and then started talking about his encounter with the woman.
That person is a teacher. She is also a primary school teacher. She was invited by an acquaintance to a joint party, and she was sitting across from him. She had just arrived as an escort and, to begin with, she did not seem very enthusiastic. No matter how much Chitose tried to talk to her, he couldn't help but give in to half of her saying, "This isn't good.", and changed the target from her to another girl.
But when they got to the second party, the colors began to change.
Arriving at the second party together meant that there was a certain expectation. Chitose, of course, joined in, but was surprised that the girl was there. Chitose, who was sitting next to her in the karaoke room, asked playfully.
"I thought you were going home because you didn't seem too keen on it. Are you targeting someone?"
The girl showed a small smile as she drank a prepared cocktail.
"You."
"What?"
"I want to know more about you."
Chitose had no idea what the girl was thinking.
After the second party, Chitose and the girl appeared as couples made up and broken up. Normally he would have gone straight to the hotel, but for some reason, he didn't feel like it. They entered a bar and talked there. It was Chitose's story, just as she requested. What kind of work did he do, where was his family's house?
Having said that, Chitose suddenly stopped talking.
"...And?"
To Bando, who urged him to go ahead, Chitose said bluntly:
"When I woke up, I was sleeping at the girl's house."
"Oh, you!"
Bando suddenly stood up and grabbed Chitose by the neck.
"What the hell did you do to her, idiot?!"
"No, I didn't! No, I was so drunk I don't remember! I didn't!"
"Okay, calm down, Bando. And then?"
As Kamamoto pushed Bando away, Chitose took a deep breath and rested his chin on the counter.
"Well, that's it. When I woke up, she was there and she was making coffee. At the time, she was wearing a suit. She told me to go ahead because she had schoolwork to do, to put the keys in the mailbox, and then..."
Chitose's face gradually turned red and he turned around again.
"...She patted my head like I would a child. And she said: See you later."
"......"
Bando pursed his lips and calmed down. He looked at Chitose questioningly.
"That is all?"
"That is all."
"How about a date? Go out to eat, go out to play."
"The other side seems to be busy, so we have lunch twice..."
Kamamoto and Bando muttered in unison.
"Are you dating her?"
"I don't know, not even me!"
This time it was Chitose's turn to stand up and shout. Holding his head, he squats on the spot.
"If it was another girl, the story would move on more easily, but come on! Somehow, when I'm with that girl, I can't speak properly. I'm going crazy! She seems to enjoy listening to my story. I can't go any further than that. I would love to go out with her! But what will I do if she rejects me?"
"Ah.", Bando exhaled in surprise.
"You like that girl."
"That's right! Is it bad?!"
“No… But, I never thought that I would hear a story like that from you…”
"Oh, no! That's why I didn't want to talk about this!"
Showing his frustration, Chitose sat down violently on the stool. He looked at Kamamoto with angry eyes.
"It's all your fault, Kamamoto! Because you bring stories you don't understand."
"Huh, I...?"
"Listen! It's not whether you're dating or not that's important! It's whether you like her or not! She likes you and wants to be your lover one day! So what about you?!"
It didn't matter what they said,
"I really never imagined such a thing..."
"Then imagine it now! You're already at that stage!"
As if to distract the embarrassment from him, Chitose slammed his hand on the counter.
"From what I've heard, there's no doubt that Ayumi-chan likes you. So what about you, Kamamoto? Do you like her as a girl, or don't you see her that way? Make it clear!" Otherwise, nothing will progress!"
Bando shook his head slightly.
"Oh...that's the sincerest comment you've made today..."
"Shut up! I don't want someone who doesn't even have a date saying that to me!"
"Eh?! You know, there are good things to say and bad things to say!"
Chitose and Bando started an ugly fight. Even facing them, Kamamoto remained silent and deep his thought.
++++++++++
In the park at night, Kamamoto absentmindedly sat on a bench.
When he was a child, it was the park where he often came to play. Swings and children's games in the sandbox. The seesaw was removed when Kamamoto was in high school. They all seemed very small compared to his memory. It was enough to make him feel like he was a giant.
No. In fact, he was getting bigger. Much more so than when he innocently played around here back then. So it may not have been an illusion that you tend to have.
As he toyed with such a ridiculous idea, he suddenly noticed a figure approaching him.
It was a ride.
She had a large paper bag. Peering out from there, Ayumi timidly appeared.
"S-sorry, Ri-chan. I'm late."
"Oh, no, it was me who called you. By the way, that's..."
"Ri-chan, you liked the "Usagian" taiyaki, didn't you? We were halfway through dinner, so I was wondering if you were hungry."
"I'm hungry! Thanks, Ayumi!"
Ayumi sat next to him and offered him a taiyaki. After receiving it, Kamamoto ate it all in just two bites. Ayumi offered more taiyaki, and Kamamoto ate it, offered it to him, and ate...
When he received the fifth, he finally came to his senses.
"No, no, no. I didn't call you for this. It was fine though."
When he tried to stop her, she made a sad face and lowered her head. Kamamoto scratched his cheek. It was hard to do, but he had to find a way out somehow.
Ayumi suddenly raised her head and looked directly at Kamamoto's face,
"Sorry!"
She yelled that and bowed her head again.
Kamamoto blinked. Why did Ayumi apologize? She hadn't done anything that required an apology.
However, Ayumi seemed to have a different opinion. She clutched the paper bag so tightly that she crinkled up and lowered moist eyes.
"It's my fault that uncle and aunt got mad. Ri-chan, uh, recently, I've been visiting your house all the time, so they misunderstood what I was to you. Ri-chan, even you didn't understand."
"Oh..."
"But it's also my fault. Um, it's really hard to say…"
Ayumi squeezed her eyes shut and her ears were bright red as she strained her voice.
"Honestly! There was a hole! I was trying to fill it up!"
"Yes.", she yelled.
Kamamoto involuntarily looked around him. A park in the middle of a quiet residential area. It was a voice as loud as he had never heard before, so much so that he couldn't help but groan.
Ayumi's complexion changed rapidly. With trembling lips and tears in her eyes, she exhales.
"I don't want to intentionally deny that uncle and aunt didn't get it right, so, um... I thought it would be nice if I could feel this way before I knew it. I got scolded... I'm embarrassed and I'm sorry... that's why..."
"A while ago..."
Kamamoto silently interrupted Ayumi's words.
"I was talking to my friends at the bar, because I don't know anything about that kind of thing. I asked someone who knew about it: what does it mean to be in a relationship, what kind of person should you date, etc. Well, that kind of history."
"......"
Ayumi looked scared at Kamamoto's profile. Every time she blinked, tears fell down her cheeks.
"Well, I really don't understand if we're dating and not, but that guy told me that, it seems that the important thing is whether I like you or not."
A childhood friend with whom he grew up as a family.
There was no doubt that she was an important person. However, as a member of the opposite sex, as a girl, he never thought of it strangely. All Kamamoto had was "Homura's" companions and his appetite, and Ayumi was in the same frame as his family.
"So, well… I thought about that too. About you. I never thought about that before, but when I thought about it, I wondered…"
Ayumi's already small body shrank even more.
"I probably like you."
With those words, it seemed that even her breathing had stopped.
However, Kamamoto spoke in a relaxed tone.
"Even a little while ago, you brought me taiyaki when I missed dinner. For some reason, I thought that was really cool. I'm sure you understand me well."
"Ta-taiyaki..."
Ayumi looked down. Deep, as if she wanted to bury her face in a taiyaki paper bag. Her shoulders were trembling slightly. Just when he was about to worry if she was alright, she said in a thin, trembling voice:
"Um... Ri-chan..."
"Eh?"
"I'm really... happy... but... would you like to be a little more romantic?"
Even if she said that...
Kamamoto scratched his head and thought for a moment before uttering a line that he had seen in a drama.
"So, Ayumi. Under the premise of marriage, go out with me."
"Yes!!"
Ayumi yelled, raising her head, her eyes shining and taking Kamamoto's hand.
Kamamoto didn't know if that was okay, but he let her shake his hands.
++++++++++
"...And?"
A few days later, at the HOMRA bar.
Yata finished listening to Kamamoto as his eyebrows arched.
Kamamoto nodded firmly.
"That's why I decided to get married. I hope you'll support me."
"......"
For a moment, everyone was speechless and looked at Kamamoto's face.
At the bar were Yata and Kamamoto, along with Akagi, Bando, Chitose, Dewa, Eric and Fujishima, the main members besides Kusanagi and Anna. It all started when Kamamoto told them that he had something to talk about, but they never thought that he would drop a bombshell on them like that. They were all so desperate to chew on the facts that they couldn't say anything.
Meanwhile, Yata sighed deeply and touched Kamamoto's shoulder.
"Congratulations."
With that single word, something collapsed.
"Wow, are you serious?! Congratulations, Kamamoto!"
"Congratulations, Kamamoto-san! Oh, you're getting married...!"
"Congratulations!"
"Bando, that's not a congratulatory face at all, huh."
The members congratulated Kamamoto all at once. They tapped him on the shoulder, grabbed him around the belly, and began rubbing his head. Despite receiving a typical harsh blessing from "Homura", Kamamoto still laughed, "No.".
"I think there is still a long way to go. Ayumi also wants to go to university. I also have to work hard."
It's not that he was particularly depressed, his attitude was that he was talking about the future that would come naturally. Bando and the others fell as if frightened by the adult atmosphere that was emitted from the big smile.
As everyone made a fuss, Yata laughed weakly.
"I mean, you, you get married suddenly, I'm sure there's a little more than one stage. It's too sudden."
"Eh. Is that so?"
"Do you have something like that, well no. Congratulations again, Kamamoto. Come to think of it, you are the most determined of us."
Kamamoto laughed "Hehe." and he rubbed his nose.
"Oh, but even if I get married, I'll still be a member of "Homura"! Of course I'll take good care of her, but, you're all important partners too!"
"Kamamoto...!"
Excitement spread among the members. Akagi winked at Fujishima, they walked around the counter and began lining up Kusanagi's precious sake.
"If that's the case, then let's go! It's an engagement celebration party!"
“I'll tell Kusanagi-san later. If he asks what happened, he should be able to forgive us."
"Oh! That's right!"
Everyone raised their fists in delight at the commander's order. They each emitted a red aura and yelled, of course,
"No Blood! No Bone! No Ash!!"
After the call, there was an outburst of laughter. He opened the bottle of whiskey, poured in sparkling water, and just as he was about to start doling out...
The PDA's dial tone sounded at the same time.
One was Kamamoto's PDA and the other was Chitose's PDA. The members, who were about to get excited, looked at the two with their glasses in their hands. The two left the words "I'm sorry." and received the call from the PDA.
"Oh, Ayumi? What's wrong?"
"Hi?! It's me, but what is it?!"
"Huh? Really? Is that so? Ah... I see."
"Eh, really? Yes, that's right! Yes, then…"
"Okay, then I'll go there right away. Oh, oh... See you later."
"There I come! I'm definitely coming! Wait a minute, I'll be there soon!"
And then, they both hung up at the same time.
The two of them looked at the group of people standing together without even blinking.
"Umm... I'm sorry! I'm sorry for saying that! I got a call from that girl."
"Ah, I'm out of here too! Thanks for everything!"
Then, without looking back, they triumphantly walked out of the HOMRA bar.
The remaining men were silent for a while. They couldn't even move. Yata, Akagi, Bando, Dewa, Eric, and Fujishima stared at the doorbell that was still shaking with eyes that seemed to stare into the distance.
Of course, Bando was the first to act. He gulped down the extremely thick highball, which was made in a roughly 1:1 ratio, and slammed it against the counter while he screamed as if he was vomiting blood.
"I wish I was dead!!"
That day saw the most frantic party since the start of the HOMRA Bar, and Kusanagi, who arrived the next morning, was furious like a raging fire, but that's another story.
Continued in chapter 7: "Memory Night".

AUs i’m not sure that i’ll ever write, so i’ll make a post with headcanons part 1: rockstar!abc boys:
hmr is an entertainment company with ceo mikoto, manager kusanagi, soloist totsuka, hip-hop duo yata and kamamoto, and the abc boys forming a rock band (anna is a trainee who isn’t set to debut yet). the agency is originally small and at the verge of bankruptcy. their artists and trainees would have to share cramped dorms, stuffy studio rooms, and aggressively promote their music via social media and sometimes even handing out flyers advertising their concert in the busy streets of shizume
i am being biased but i can see shouhei as the lead singer. he just has a very charismatic and outgoing personality that fits as the frontman of the band. although eric is definitely not the type to sing, i like to think he offers some vocals only because his japanese va has a nice voice lmaoo. chitose can also fill the role of the sub vocalist, but i like the idea of him being the playboy main guitarist. fuji is the drummer, bandou and dewa are the bass players, while eric also plays the guitar
the abc boys originally start out as an underground rock group with a small, but loyal fanbase. slowly but surely, they see a growth in their popularity with them doing numbers on their newer music, tickets selling out in big arenas, being invited to multiple award shows, and even winning some big awards.
thats not to say the boys end up becoming this squeaky clean, bubblegum pop boyband. a good chunk of their popularity comes from their rebellious, bad boy image. vulgar lyrics and music videos, multiple controversies such as rowdy parties that end up destroying whatever hotel room theyre renting, chitose (accidentally) scorning indie singer maria, diss tracks about other artists, getting into fights and other scandals, etc.
the boys are two years in their career when one of their rival companies debut a pop girl group. and unlike the boys, this girl group’s debut is highly anticipated since they’re from an established and rich company with other popular artists as their predecessors. so its no surprise that the group’s first mv and pre-release track debuts with high numbers
the girl group is composed of four members. each member is inspired from celebrities/characters from different media based on physical character traits or personality traits:
miyako: the eldest and the lead vocalist who is known for her ice princess like visuals. off camera, she is the easy-going mom friend of the group who comes from a wealthy family with a background in business. inspo: jisoo from kpop group blackpink, donna troy/wondergirl from dc comics, and kuchiki rukia from bleach
izumi: main rapper and self-proclaimed leader of the group. blunt and aloof, izumi is hard to impress and has a fondness for punk fashion and music. inspo: dinah lance/black canary and artemis crock from dc comics/shows, nana osaki from nana, with a little dash of jennie from blackpink (jennie’s onscreen personality during music videos)
kaoru: main dancer and lead rapper. a tomboyish girl who loves to have fun, but has a bad temper and can be kind of a bully. inspo: buttercup from powerpuff girls, lisa from blackpink, artemis crock and raven from dc
sakuno: the center and the main vocalist of the group. as the youngest and most soft-spoken of the group, she learned how to use her girlish charms and looks to get what she wants. inspo: nana komatsu and a bit of reira from nana, bubbles and blossom from ppg, jennie and rosé from blackpink.
despite the genres of both groups being completely different from the other and the girls being a newer group, it doesn’t stop the media and their fans from constantly comparing them, with the boys being one of the biggest groups around and the girls rapidly gaining popularity.
at first, the boys don’t pay that much attention to the girls. they’re hot girls doing pop music, of course a lot of virgins are gonna eat that shit up. but the more comparisons they see by fans and the media, the more articles they see about the girls possibly surpassing them and being better than them, the more it gets to them. like wtf? why the fuck are they always getting compared to this group of privileged girls who gets everything handed to them on a plate?? unlike those snobby little princesses, they actually worked hard and earned their success. they actually write and produce their own fucking music, instead of sitting in the studio room and looking pretty, while someone else writes their lyrics for them
the girls weren’t too sure on how to feel about the guys at first. while they admired the fact that the boys were able to pave a path for themselves to stardom despite being from a broke company, they’re a bit wary about them. the boys have been involved in a lot of feuds, which got them on the bad side of the general public here and there. and sure, they don’t always start shit, but they always play dirty in response. some of the members don’t even have the best reputation with women, which doesn’t help their case
It also doesnt help that even though their fans are always beefing, theres still a large portion of them that ships members of both groups with each other. This helps to be a great marketing strategy by the girls’ company, making sure to have the boys name dropped frequently in articles or bios about the girls, comparing their success and labeling them as each other’s counterpart, which boosts their engagement.
but despite all the constant comparisons, both groups avoid the hell out of each other whenever theyre in the same public setting (i.e. music award shows). the guys think the girls are talentless posers who trying to ride on their dicks for fame, while the girls just want to avoid accidentally creating any dating rumors cause god forbid they accidentally glance at one of the boys or sit near them
it doesn’t take that long for the girls to sense some sort of animosity from some of the more vocal guys like bandou and even chitose to some extent, so the resentment soon turns mutual and the girls start to think that the guys are a bunch of lowlives
me being me tho, the tension between both groups soon turns into sexual tension between some of their members lmaooo
i envision the four girls to get with shouhei, chitose, dewa, and bandou, but if anyone is actually reading this and thinks differently, please let me know!
dewa/miyako: on the surface, they seem to be the most similar, with both of them having the more serious/strict image of their group. dewa thinks otherwise since miyako is way more outgoing and lenient with her members. he initially looks down at her for being part of an ‘artificial’ pop group, and thinks of her as an airhead, but is surprised to know that she does have a few things in common with him, such as their rich and smothering families. both are also 100% done with their friends’ antics.
chitose/izumi: far from the shy type, izumi is no stranger to promiscuity, having her share of partners in the bedroom. but between the scandals with her friend maria and many other female celebrities, and the way his group looks down at her group, izumi wouldn’t really feel bad if she wakes up one day to headlines about chitose catching std and his group being forced to disband. but after multiple attempts of flirting from chitose’s end, both form a superficial friendship and party together, which slowly turns into late night private conversations with cigarettes in their hand and a bottle to share.
bandou/kaoru: a hate to love dynamic, these two clash the most out of them all and are the last couple to hold hands, let alone get together. from their first meeting (which is coincidentally when they both caught shouhei and sakuno together), kaoru tells bandou how much of a loser he is and that he should pursue another career since his music is not it. bandou calls kaoru a dyke and that theres a reason why she’s the least popular of her group. both are quick to press each other’s buttons, unknowingly hitting some sore spots.
shouhei/sakuno: the romeo and juliet of the groups, they’re the first couple to get together tbh. although they both knew of each other and would attend the same music award shows, they formally meet each other through a mutual friend. although there was a mutual attraction, sakuno tries to bottle her feelings and keep her distance while shouhei tries to pursue her. they initially start off as friends with benefits since both have busy schedules, but the feelings are too strong and next thing you know, late night hookups at the other’s apartment slowly turns into secret late night dates at reserved beaches and restaurants. their interactions start the domino effect of the other members’ interactions.
other couples include fujieric who are in a slowburn ‘will they’ situationship, and mikototsu who are in a secret relationship

Izumo: Wasn’t he with you? *points at Dewa*

Imagine Anna wanting to go trick-or-treating with everyone else. How do you think they would react to the idea and how do you think everyone would dress up?
Oh, this is such a cute ask! Thanks so much for sending it in and I hope you'll enjoy the headcanons!
Okay, but I can definitely see this being a thing. I don't really think Halloween is celebrated in the same way in Japan but we're going to set aside cultural differences for this ask and use more Western standards of Halloween, like trick or treating so please don't come for me haha.
Now, Anna has obviously never been trick or treating in her life, given her past and then coming to HOMRA, where trick or treating takes second place to drinking and partying on Halloween. So when she hears about the custom, it really intrigues her and she does kind of want to do it. It takes her a couple of weeks though to really get her mind made up enough and to feel confident enough to go and tell someone how much she wants to try it out.
Of course, everyone is kind of supportive of Anna getting to experience it and they'll all kind of help in their own ways. Izumo does have to stay at the bar, or so he declares, so he offers to help Anna shop for her costume but does beg out of actually taking her out. Both him and Totsuka (I'll setting this before he dies, for once) agree that Mikoto is too intimidating to take Anna out trick or treating…he'd scare everyone answering the door and there's worries Anna would end up with no candy and a less than ideal Halloween experience so it's decided he'll stay at the bar with Kusanagi, something Mikoto isn't exactly fighting against.
However, it is Halloween night, there's a lot of mischief and parties and just tomfoolery going on and there's some worry that, while everyone knows Totsuka is more than capable, maybe it's not the best idea that just the two of them goes. So Kusanagi voluntells everyone else in the main part of the HOMRA gang to take her out and also voluntells them that they're getting dressed up to do so, to make Anna's Halloween the best it can be.
There is a lot of fighting around this and some members might not have walked out of that fighting without some new bumps and scrapes.
Totsuka is all in though. He helps shop for Anna's costume and she goes as a princess, because she is the princess of HOMRA, and they spend far too much to get her the absolute top of the line princess costume…she demands they buy her a prop sword as well though because she wants to be a warrior princess.
Totsuka himself goes as a zombie and he had actually gone through a spell where he got really into special effects makeup and prosthetics so he's actually really excited to whip those skills back out. He looks surprisingly horrifying and he has fun helping out anyone else who needs him with their costumes. Totsuka still would have come as a zombie even if this had been set post death because I have a warped sense of humour.
Shouhei doesn't really fight the idea much. If they take Anna out early enough, he's more than okay with it. In fact, he's a little excited to be able to go out trick or treating again, because he was definitely one of those people who trick or treated until they started getting refused candy for being too old. He's even okay with dressing up because he was going to dress up for a Halloween party he was going to later on that night anyway. He just makes it very clear that he has to leave by a certain time…there's about three or four parties he's already agreed to make an appearance at so it's going to be a busy night for him. He had planned on just dressing up like a 50's greaser or a biker, but he lets Anna choose his costume for him and she dresses him as a pirate. He's not honestly all that disappointed as it's a pretty sweet costume.
Bandou, on the other hand? He was definitely one of the people who fought the decision. He's way too old to be out trick or treating, even just taking someone else out trick or treating, and the very idea embarrasses him. Besides, there's this online game he plays that has this huge event going on just on Halloween night and he can't miss out on all that special, one of a kind loot and skins and such. He's scowling until he starts getting free candy and then all of a sudden warms up to the occassion. He claims to be dressed up as a 'rapper' but honestly, he's just wearing his normal clothes with the only addition being the gaudiest, biggest, flashiest chains he could find.
Chitose had to be dragged along, and was the one who fought it the hardest. Do you know how many slutty nurses and Halloween cat costumes he's missing doing this?? He dresses as a 'serial killer', which is just his normal clothes and a big ass (supposedly fake) knife because all serial killers pretty much look like normal people. Or at least that's his excuse. It surprises no one when only a couple blocks in, they take Anna up to the door and come back to find Chitose has just kind of disappeared.
Dewa is the only one to actually win the fight to not go…and it's only because his excuse of having a shift at his part time job that night was proven to be legit when Kusanagi checked it out. He pretends to be very sad he'll miss the occasion and says he wishes he could be there to see Anna enjoy her Halloween…word he regrets as Totsuka took him seriously and sends him pictures and videos throughout the night. Most of the other boys follow Totsuka's lead, some out of pure spite for Dewa's 'good luck', and Dewa is driven half crazy until he just turns off his phone.
Eric has never experienced trick or treating or really Halloween in general so he's a little confused at first. It becomes the goal of certain members to make sure that, since this is Eric and Anna's first Halloween experience, it be the most amazing one for the both of them. He gets bought a knight costume and happily plays Anna's knight for the evening and is surprised by just how many houses insist on giving him candy too despite him not being a little kid. All in all, he has a lot more fun than his complaining and swearing lets on.
Fujishima really didn't care one way or another. I headcanon him as having younger neighbours that he got asked to take out trick-or-treating once he reached middle school and stopped going out himself so this is kind of routine and common for him. He dresses up like a dog. Legit, he wears a full on mascot suit that is definitely not a fursuit (if he was to have a fursona, it would not be a dog, thank you very much). He makes sure to say thank you to everyone who gives him candy and makes sure the others do as well.
Yata pretended to hate the order to take Anna out but honestly, he's a little excited to go trick-or-treating again. Plus he gets to play protector for Anna for the evening as Kusanagi and Totsuka point out to him and he feels very proud to be trusted that much with Homra's princess. He puts a lot of work into his costume, choosing to go as Tony Hawk…nobody gets it and he gets the least amount of candy behind Chitose and Bandou.
Kamamoto is so in. Everyone deserves a night of free candy when they're young. He has so many fond memories of trick or treating himself and he definitely does everything he can to make the night the best. He's also the only one to think to bring along extra pillowcases so that they all can continue to trick or treat after their buckets get full. Due to all the community connections he has, he also kind of snoops out ahead of time which neighbourhoods are going to be giving out the best candy and makes sure that Anna gets to hit all of those. He doesn't really go overboard on his costume - there's not a lot of options for plus size male costumes honestly, and he just kind of cobbles together a hobo outfit for Halloween.

Choose my next Bandou fic idea!
Alright, I'm finally settled into my second year of uni and I am ready to dive into some more Bandou fics! I just need some help on what you would like to see! Choose 1 and tell me which one you'd be interested in reading!
Bandou and Doumyouji once again in my purple connections au where they are able to blend their auras together to create one big purple one. This time its a deep comprehensive of their budding partnership and their attempts to hide their new found ability from their respective clans. It will look into both the blue and red clans and how they are both treated by them. Drama and obviously ensue!
Shouhei is a stalker. Yes, you heard me! Now instead of Bandou being the lovable asshole he is, he actually has a real reason to dislike Shouhei! What doesn't help is that no one believes him and now Shouhei's obsession has shifted to him! Think a more mysterious detective feeling fic. Instead of finding the culprit, it's proving he did it in the first place. Read along as Bandou works to stop Shouhei from doing anything to his new red clan comrades and get to the bottom of why he even joined. Enter yandere!Shouhei stage left! Perhaps a twisted romance is in order?
A strain who caused their victim to be cursed with seeing ghosts has hit Bandou! Really, it's not too bad, I mean- someone's grandma wanting to tell their kids they love them isn't scary. Except, who is that girl who keeps looming behind Chitose? And why is it that when he runs into the blue clan, a chilling cackling can be heard right by Fushimi? Basically Bandou is forced to face other people's fears for them as he navigates helping souls move on and also people. He won't be emotionally stunted for long!
Here are the 3 ideas I've had in mind! I plan on doing them all but since I am focusing on school I can only do one at a time! Please comment what you'd like to read first! Any suggestions would be great as well!
