there an old ep of the show where they talk about love languages and rhett says that his is definitely not physical touch. in newer episodes he's constantly reaching over to tap links shoulder and when he couldn't bc of the sling he still wanted to/touched his leg instead. he even used to refuse to let link touch him at all and now he's Like That. there's no point to this ask i just wanted to share my thoughts bc it makes me scream and cry how much they've changed :((

The change they have undergone is tremendous! It almost gives hope that someone can change if they truly want. Having said that, Rhett was perhaps consciously not entirely sincere back then. He did try to present himself as this macho male who doesn’t like tenderness and softness for the longest time. Furthermore, I believe he actually wanted to discourage Link from his usual very tactile way of communicating with him, especially on camera. Compare this with how he was whining in 2021 or whenever about Link not being gentle enough with him. Of course it was a joke but 2012 Rhett would never make that joke, let alone so consistently and whiningly.

The #1 love language for Rhett though is thoughtfulness, generosity, sharing experiences and quality time. I don’t remember what he said to be the one in that episode but it must have been something like this.

イーストウッドの2021年の作品。原作はネイサン・リチャード・ナッシュ（Nathan Richard Nush, 1913-2020）が1975年に発表した小説だが、そもそもは映画脚本として70年代に執筆されたものが、プロダクションに拒否されたため、小説化して発表したものだそうだ。本作の前にも、ロイ・シャイダーや、アーノルド・シュワルツェネッガーを主演にした映画化が、1991年と2011年にそれぞれ企画されたがいずれも頓挫している。イーストウッド自身も1988年にこの役のオファーがあったが断ったとのこと。

【以下ネタバレ】どこかで誰かが死ぬ（殺される）のではないかとハラハラしながらみていたが、銃は発砲されることなく、車は路肩に突っ込んでも誰も負傷することなく、国境までたどり着くことができた。よかった。

(Netflix knows this and executes on it very well.) It’s a constant cycle of needing more, needing quality, and needing big. Having those constantly, on top of regular library programming that keeps people opening HBO Max in between big releases, keeps attention. By having a new mega release every single month, there are more reasons for people to stay subscribed. The key to “winning” is demanding attention. But the increased competition in the space means that competitors are doing the same thing, often with big franchise IP (Disney) or top talent (Netflix, Amazon). You likely won’t sign up for HBO Max just to watch Friends, but you might sign up to watch Wonder Woman 1984 and then stick around to watch Friends. Streaming is a balance game: there needs to be a consistent addition of new titles to attract subscribers as a platform scales, with a full library of beloved and various TV shows and movies that keep people around. is doing and release movies in theaters at the same time as Disney Plus. Disney will likely continue to move certain titles to Disney Plus as exclusives, but it could also decide to mirror what Warner Bros. Disney CEO Bob Chapek told analysts on the company’s recent fourth quarter call that despite the backlash the movie received, it performed well (no numbers were given) and made the case to Disney executives that a Premier Access strategy that could work.

It also released Mulan exclusively on Disney Plus for $30 in September. Disney moved Hamilton, Artemis Fowl, and Soul to streaming only exclusives. The movies will only stream on HBO Max for one month before leaving the platform for a period of time. There are some limitations to the new business model.
