she had always wanted to be a vet and even went to university to become one but somehow ended up at joja. however when she moved to the Pelican town she finally had the chance to get her dream job. although its nothing official, she is still happy to just help here and there when animals feel bad

that's also how dara met shane! charlie kept getting sick and he just had to come to her when marnie couldn't. they started to talk to each other about animals at first and gradually moved to discussing simply everything

now they're happily married, charlie is safe and sound (as well as all other living creatures) and everything's as good as it ever could be
