My sister, Elizabeth, gathered their son Emeka7o7 and the village they have created at Tiger Boxing Gym and celebrated Tiger's 62nd birthday at Fortune House Chinese Restaurant in Los Angeles. This afternoon, Misti & I attended The Press Open Training for the up and coming Pro Boxer Emeka “Lionheart” Nwokolo - Emeka7o7 who happens to be my nephew... for his Title Fight in Colombia on July 23rd vs Castillo for the ABF Belt. The fight will be streamed live on Facebook. Emeka is the son of Young Dick Tiger (Charles Nwokolo)a former pro boxer and champ...and of my sister, Elizabeth Wilson.... and the nephew of boxing great Dick Tiger. Two years ago Emeka was in the news for his car plunging off a cliff in Malibu on his way home from work, driving unchartered roads for the first time in the pitch black… and he made it out alive... almost unscathed, kicking his way out of the car and using a scissors he found in his glove compartment and his strength, will, faith and determination to help him climb his way up the mountain in the dark and flag down a car for help. Last August, he decided to change from a soccer pro to a boxing pro and now he’s boxing like his family legacy. He’s 6-0 and this is is his first Title fight. It's almost time for our new adventures and road trips to begin... so in between clearing out the condo of a lifetime of stuff... Misti, Dharma and I take day trips to the coast to clear out minds and rejuvenate our souls... There's a frequency of our joy in these adventures!
