Mod: whew it’s been a minute since I’ve been active!

I’m gonna try to be active this week! I’ve started recently drawing the Halloween grinch lately with some crossover stuff. If you guys like to see him interact with Beetlejuice on this blog as a special little holiday thing I’ll be glad to do it! I’ll probably not answer all the asks that have been on hold but if I find something I can work with I’ll do it!

Drew my courier, using this picrew as a way to make a reference photo to work with. They go by the name of Dr.Angel. They are a medical courier for the Mojave Express and a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse; they specifically run both medical-grade medicines and organs throughout the wasteland. They end up dating and working with Benny for the independence of New Vegas over a few drinks (and a shot to the head a month earlier...)

Some messages I sent while making this character that have interesting info in them about them:

They were in charge of getting specifically medical supplies and organs to various places It was a "fluke" that they got assigned to the chip job in the first place

And asdlfb Benny seeing that it's a medical courier who has the chip, is actually regretful they got caught up in all this when he says it [9:58 AM] That's a line Benny has but it's almost playful in canon [10:00 AM] Mm a very minor detail but I like the idea of the chip being in with all the organs, the lid shut, so Angel doesn't even know what the significance is when Benny flashes it at them [10:00 AM] Angel just knows Benny stole the organ bag... [10:01 AM] Because I see this character not giving a shit about a chip, but they'd definitely hunt Benny across the Mohave for stolen medical supplies

Dr. Angel: visceral disgust and confusion when both House and Benny think he's after some dumb chip when all he wants is the medical supplies delivered [10:14 AM] Benny: oh, the organ bag? I just dropped those off to the followers once I got back to the strip. What tf do I personally need them for [10:15 AM] Dr. Angel: then why did you shoot me in the head for them? That's where they needed to go! [10:15 AM] Benny: I needed the platinum chip, baybee [10:15 AM] Dr. Angel: the what now

Probably the way it was originally going to go was that it would be delivered to the strip, the platinum chip would have been removed, and the medical supplies would have been given to the strip itself, or straight up destroyed- whichever house fancied that day. Dr. Angel was just told it'd be given to the followers after delivery, but that the strip would be a safer drop off point [10:25 AM] Which makes a lot of sense, because hey, nobody wants to fuck with securitrons [10:25 AM] And it's not like Angel knows the particular politics of the strip to know how sus that would be

Hh thinking about lonesome road details, the doctor delivering death [10:31 AM] I know Ulysses thinks that the courier was an ncr spy, however, I like the idea more that in two occasions, people in the postal service hid dangerous and/or important packages in specifically the medical deliveries [10:31 AM] So Dr. Angel never knew his package was dangerous, both times it happened [10:31 AM] He only found out that the divide happening was due to his delivery when Ulysses told him

I'm talking about Dr. Angel like they are a very intelligent doctor, buut (edited) [10:50 AM] Maxed Charisma and Maxed Luck, average intellegence, and a 2 in both strength and endurance I was about to make a joke like "they don't have a medical licence / got it taken away" but idk if new vegas has medical licences arcade, looking at this courier doing surgery: uh, I'm 99% sure you have never read a medical book in your life
