Anabel Caballero El comité ejecutivo de la Asociación de Trabajadores, Administrativos, Profesionales, Técnicos y de Apoyo de la Universidad del Zulia (ATALUZ), sostuvo una reunión con un grupo de trabajadores de la Universidad del Zulia (LUZ), a quienes se les han vulnerado sus derechos laborales. La información la suministró el presidente de ATALUZ, Ángel Gustavo Dulcey Bueno, quien explicó que “Un grupo nutrido de trabajadores de diferentes dependencias de LUZ, han acudido a nosotros para exponer una serie de irregularidades en materia laboral, como despido, suspensión de sueldos y salarios, entre otros aspectos”. Dulcey agregó además que los trabajadores le solicitaron la representación como gremio “ante las irregularidades a las cuales están siendo sometidos, cuando se tiene un convenio previo correspondiente a la reincorporación de actividades presenciales de esta institución, según el acuerdo de Consejo Universitario (CU) número 708 de fecha 18 de mayo de 2022”. Además tienen el respaldo de la Ley Orgánica de Trabajadores (LOTTT), así como la existencia de la Inamovilidad Laboral decretada por el Gobierno nacional, a partir del 1 de enero de 2023. Resaltó que por la inamovilidad laboral el empleador, en este caso LUZ, no puede despedir, desmejorar o trasladar a un trabajador sin justa causa calificada previamente por el Inspector del trabajo de la jurisdicción. “Es decir, el trabajador no está obligado asistir diariamente hasta tanto no se discuta el informe de la comisión designada por la CU de LUZ, según acuerdo No. 708 del 18-05-2023, referente a las condiciones laborales y salariales de los trabajadores y determinar si las condiciones y medios de ambiente de trabajo permite el desarrollo de las actividades administrativas”, aseveró. El titular de ATALUZ; hizo el llamado a las comunidad universitaria para que se comuniquen con esta organización, “en el caso de que sus derechos hayan sido vulnerados, pues cuentan con nuestro apoyo irrestricto, se pueden comunicar al número celular: 04126864728. Trabajadores de LUZ y ATALUZ denuncian ante Ministerio del Trabajo Un grupo de trabajadores de LUZ y ATALUZ se trasladó al Ministerio del Trabajo, “con el propósito de denunciar las irregularidades laborales planteadas, toda vez que otras organizaciones gremiales, aunque están activas y fueron notificadas previamente de todas estas situaciones, no nos apoyaron realmente”. Así lo dio a conocer uno de los trabajadores de LUZ, Gerardo Castillo, quien comentó que “ante estas falla laborales, Luis Romero cédula de identidad: 18.429.356, Andrés Fernández: cédula de identidad: 12.440.388, así como Ana Cristina Acosta Reyes, CI.23441126, entre otras personas, nos trasladamos al Ministerio del Trabajo a exponer nuestros casos, donde también nos acompañó ATALUZ”. Castillo, aclaró que “Nosotros antes de ir al Ministerio del Trabajo, nos reunimos con el director (e) de Recursos Humanos, Gustavo Montero, y nos dijeron que estábamos despedidos, lo cual fue ilegal, ya que estamos amparados por la Inamovilidad laboral y no nos hicieron un debido proceso, por eso nosotros nos amparamos en las leyes de LOTT y demás convenios”, acentuó. Mencionó que las organizaciones gremiales en un comunicado público informaron que ningún trabajador puede ser objeto de suspensión de su salario, ni ningún tipo de sanción, sin que previamente se haya cumplido con los trámites legales establecidos en el VI Convenio LUZ – ASDELUZ, el IV Convenio Colectiva Única del sector Universitario (CCU) y demás leyes de la República. “Nosotros somos testigos de los convenios internos que se realizaron de acuerdo al convenio 708 del Consejo Universitario (CU), sin embargo, se nos suspendió el sueldo, a varios nos sacaron de nómina, mientras a otros los removieron de sus cargos, quienes tienen años de servicio”, dijo. Castillo, destacó además que “No vimos un respaldo contundente por parte del sindicato, pues no expusieron los argumentos legales para que no nos despidieran, de allí

que agradecemos a ATALUZ, por su apoyo en esta situación y que pronto nos devuelvan los derechos laborales que fueron vulnerados”. .
