So I just finished El Elegido and May I just say that scene of him in the turtleneck did things to me. Also why am I so obsessed with his side profile??!! I love the little bump in his nose and it makes me feel better about having a bump in mine as well because like maybe somebody will think the bump on my nose is beautiful too. Anyways I’m rambling but I think we as a collective need to demand more of him in turtlenecks. Turtlenecks of every color.

Oh, anon, anon, anon...say that!! Tenoch's profile does things to me. Gets me thinking certain thoughts. His features are so stunningly beautiful that he is breathtaking. The bump on his nose is perfect. His face has so much character and whether his eyes are soft or intense, they make me melt. And that damn turtleneck! He looked oh so fine. That whole scene was beautifully shot. Loved the way the color of his hair matched the turtleneck. Have mercy on my soul. 🥰 🥰 🥰

Lemuel x Reader

Summary: He's been a close friend of yours for a long time. Which later on, led to you and Lemuel falling for each other. Years have passed, and he's still yours. He never let go of that promise. And will make sure you always know. But do you feel like that's true?

Tags/warnings: Not many warnings really, just mostly fluff. With some themes of relationship anxiety but that's really it. But if I have missed any warnings, please let me know and I will put them in.

With the sun shining in your eyes from your bedroom window, you awake. You cover the window with the curtains in slight annoyance. You grab your phone from the nightstand and check it for a moment.

2 missed calls from Lemuel. Then you check the time, it's 1:00 PM. "Damn it, I slept in too late again." You muttered to yourself. You call up his number and wait for him to answer.

After for what seemed like a minute, no answer.

You call him again, no answer.

"Third time's a charm, right?" you sigh. You call his number again once more, instead of it going straight to voicemail, you hear a "Hello" from a familiar voice. Lemuel.

"Hey. I'm so sorry I missed your calls, I was asleep again and I wanted to make it up to you."

You hear him sigh, followed up with an endearing laugh. "You really have no reason to apologize. I just wanted to call you to ask if I can come swing by. So please don't feel bad for not answering immediately, I understand."

Hearing that made you feel so much better. But does he really understand?

Might as well just shrug it off. You were just only tired. "Well of course you can come over! Let me know when you get here." You reply.

"Of course. As always, I love you. I'll see you when I get there."

You sigh happily. "Love you too. Bye for now!" You hang up after the conversation ends. "He's too sweet." You thought to yourself.

After getting out of bed and getting dressed, you look at the polaroid photo you and Lemuel took together, the photo being plastered on your bedroom mirror. The happiest you two have ever looked.

Remembering the time you two met. On a rainy night, full of coy smiles and banter. He was so kind. He was one of the few people you felt so comfortable around. Who knew that one day, he would be yours?

After some times passes, you hear a knock on the front door. Must be him.

As you open the door to see Lemuel, you immediately hug him. He slightly stumbles before he hugs you back. "Hey, hey. I'm here now, love." He reassures.

You nuzzle into his chest and look up at him. "Sorry about that...just missed you was all." You let go of his embrace and shut the door behind you two.

"There's no need to apologize, it's alright. But I have to ask, are you okay?"

You sigh, crossing your arms. "Do you remember the first time we met? How we both seem to have caught each other's eyes?" You ask.

Lemuel nods. "Of course I remember. It was an unforgettable night. Bumping into each other, you were trying to get home but you hurt your knee so I had to help drive you home. How we got along so well after just talking to each other." He took a pause.

He sighs. "I don't know how we did. Even considering we started out as just strangers. How we even had trust for one another. But we did. And we could've never spoke to each other again. But we did. And you know I wouldn't trade that for anything else."

You teared up. Lemuel speaks with such love and admiration for you whenever he talks about you. And he was right. Instead of just staying strangers, you later became lovers. You were worried that he was getting fed up with you recently, but why would he?

"Lemuel...the reason why I asked you is because I just wanted to know if you still love me after so long. After 5 years of our relationship." You reach for his hand to hold.

Lemuel pulls you in closer to him with his other hand. Looking at you, and appreciating all of your beauty. "Of course I still love you. Who said I would stop?" He tells you. "Never forget that I'll always want you in my life."

"Promise?" You ask.

He cups your cheek with his hand and kisses you softly. "I promise, mi amor."

A promise he shall keep, forever and always.
