A sketch of my idea of Elsword's skill tree revamp.

Some skills above might not be available/not classified properly in the current patch. They and the background color are there only for visual presentation.

No level requirement for all skills. They are now obtained right after class advancement.

Skill trait system is now accessible when reaching Lv. 99 and unlocking ERP system (see below).

2 skills for Active and per each Special Active tier when job advance (tentative on getting Special Active and Active on 3rd job)

2 Passives on 1st job, 3 on 2nd job and Trans then 2 on 3rd job

1 Buff on 1st job (self or party will depend on the class)

1 Hyper Active on 2nd job and another 1 on 3rd job

4 Master Skills on Master Class

Locked skills include 2nd Active on Base and 1st class, 1st Passive on 2nd class column, both Passives on Trans column, both Hyper Actives and Master Skill Stage 2-4.

Passive skills no longer have levels.

Skill slots will be increased to 20 (10 on each tab). You can now use Hyper Active and Master Skill on both tab.

Maximum no. of skills that you can register at once:

Special Actives (all tiers combined): 10 / Actives: 10 / Force Active: 5 / Hyper Active: 1 / Master Skill: 1

Practical setup should be 10 SA, 5 A, 1 HA, 1 MS and 5 FA.

My intention is for you to use your Actives more since it can be helpful with grey damage.

The skill tree itself doesn't necessarily need new skills to adopt this style, but it would look very empty.

Skill traits:

Skill trait system is now unlocked after you reach Lv. 99 and unlocks El Resonance.

You will obtain 1 trait point for each ERP level.

You can invest it in a skill to improve its power.

There are 2 types of trait: Offensive and Supportive.

There are also 2 types of effect: Primary and Secondary.

You can pick either Offensive or Supportive as a Primary trait.

But you cannot choose the same type of trait as your Secondary trait.

For example, I choose Heavy as the Primary trait, I cannot choose any of the Offensive traits for the Secondary trait.

Secondary trait will have its effectiveness halved.

For example, Regenerating (2) at Lv. 10 as a Secondary trait will only have 25% chance of reducing cooldown to 80%.

For certain skills such as buff or actives that do no damage, it's up to you to realize that yourself and not investing in Offensive trait.

Some supportive trait will have no effect on the skill such as selecting Killing Blow (2) for Roll. It'll basically do nothing. Again, it's up to you to realize that yourself.

When using Tome of Amnesia, you regain all points invested in Primary and Secondary traits.

The table above is for general value. There might be specific values for certain characters like Ara or Luciel who use special resources.

Also, all traits are now only 40% effective in PvP.

That’s a difficult question. I can’t say I have one favorite artist, and there’s a lot of other unique artists on pixiv and tumblr that I have to admire. And heres a long list: Lumbbyz, this person I don’t really know the name of (she loves IS and i love him too), KiO, Boonhae, Mochi, Tei, Lumiere, this other person because i like her ElsAin art, KAS2A_RR, Angellyuna. I have much more but here are some artists that I like,, hopefully the links attached to them works. Hmm, tumblr wise, I like… @forbiddenimmortality (;^) it has some nsfw elements tho, but i like how they draw girls and stuff. They have a pixiv too, but also thats really nsfw)@dezimaton :^) kek, very unique style, you’ll instantly recognize its hers@wechsei she has cute art, and her coloring catches my eyes@flowech she doesnt draw ain as much anymore, but she’s improving a lot and its interesting seeing her update on her drawings@sproutchii also has cute art and doll!sia caught my eye there@diabolicegghead I know she has art scattered somewhere, even if its just scribbles. first and foremost, AKI NG does great Adra artwork so I’m highkey biased, they also have a tumblr and they do Miraculous Ladybug and Overwatch fanart too and I think RWBY?

I also love Icedango's style, and also they draw adorable Lus so I mean there's my precious daughter right there

Ho incontrato Dacchan e Hitomi per la prima volta nel Romics d’autunno dello scorso anno. Oltre ai costumi, magnifici, di Aisha Ebalon (Dacchan) e Rena Nightwatcher (Hitomi), colpì il fatto che, benché giovanissime, fossero in realtà delle veterane del cosplay, perfettamente dentro al personaggio e sempre a proprio agio pur nel caos torrido della Fiera di Roma.

Al di là della capacità di interpretare al meglio il proprio personaggio, era soprattutto chiaro che vivessero la passione per il cosplay con leggerezza, divertendosi. Dacchan e Hitomi sono sorelle davvero affiatate. Le ho incontrate nuovamente nell’ultima edizione del Romics ed è nata così l’occasione per conoscerle meglio.

Per iniziare, c’è un motivo particolare dietro la scelta dei vostri nickname?

Dacchan: sì, dietro al nome di Dacchan la storia è alquanto semplice, lo utilizzavo già come soprannome prima di fare cosplay ed è l’unione della prima sillaba del mio nome più il suffisso “chan” che spesso ricorre nei soprannomi giapponesi.

Hitomi: per quanto riguarda Hitomi, questo nome è abbinato a un’altra parola ovvero Okami poiché insieme significano “Occhio di lupo”.

Perché fate cosplay e quando è nata questa passione?

Dacchan: la nostra passione per il cosplay è iniziata quando per la prima volta abbiamo partecipato al Romics 2011, vedendo tutti i cosplayer divertirsi impersonando il personaggio preferito ne siamo rimaste affascinate. Abbiamo deciso di imitare quelle persone scoprendo così una passione che si è protratta per ben 6 anni. Fare cosplay è sicuramente impegnativo, ma il senso di appagamento che ne scaturisce è qualcosa di indescrivibilmente meraviglioso.

Solitamente portate cosplay in coppia. Come avviene la pianificazione? Chi guida? Vi dividete i compiti?

Hitomi: In realtà non c’è proprio una guida, ma è fondamentale per noi decidere insieme perché i personaggi devono piacere a entrambe. Però accade spesso che se a una delle due piaccia una serie e un personaggio in particolare si cerca sempre di trovare un altro personaggio affine così da poterli portare in fiera assieme. Per la divisione dei compiti vale una semplice regola: chi propone un cosplay si occupa del tutto.

Come descrivereste le differenze nell’esperienza cosplay in gruppo, in coppia o in singolo?

Dacchan: di esperienze in singolo ne abbiamo avute poche, invece possiamo affermare che in coppia è un’esperienza molto bella specialmente se colei con la quale si fa è la propria amata sorella o una cara amica dato che si percepisce un’affinità unica. Portare cosplay in gruppo è ancora più entusiasmante poiché più persone condivideranno lo stesso interesse e con cui stringere amicizia e magari fare altri gruppi, purtroppo però la difficoltà dell’organizzazione è direttamente proporzionale al numero dei membri poiché sono normali gli imprevisti e bisogna soddisfare anche le esigenze dei più (come ad esempio il giorno in cui portare il cosplay o l’orario del photoset)

Commissionate i vostri cosplay o li create voi?

Dacchan: Molto spesso li commissioniamo a sarte che conosciamo bene oppure li acquistiamo da negozi online fidati. Tuttavia speriamo che in un futuro saremo noi a realizzare i nostri cosplay.

La vostra esperienza più bella come cosplayer?

Hitomi: Ogni fiera è una nuova esperienza bellissima, incontrare persone che si ha conosciuto online e altri cosplayer fa sempre molto piacere. La più indimenticabile è stata l’ultimo Romics quando molte persone ci hanno riconosciute e questo ci ha regalato una gioia immensa.

Il vostro cosplay più riuscito?

Hitomi: dei cosplay che amiamo e su cui abbiamo speso molto, sono quelli di Rena Nightwatcher e Sylveon che ci hanno sempre soddisfatto in qualsiasi situazione.

Il cosplay più scomodo?

Hitomi: purtroppo i cosplay più scomodi sono solitamente quelli che ci piacciono di più quindi Rena Nightwatcher per via del mantello e delle spalline.

Dacchan: sicuramente Aisha Ebalon a causa delle varie armi da portare dietro e al peso del vestito.

Quale sarà la prossima fiera a cui parteciperete?

Dacchan: la prossima fiera sarà sicuramente il Rimini Comix. Ci sono molte fiere che amiamo, ma questa è la nostra preferita dato che l’organizzazione è una delle migliori e l’atmosfera che si percepisce in fiera è di festa e allegria. Una fiera estiva potrà essere anche molto calda e perciò impedire di portare cosplay “pesanti”, ma essendo in un periodo nel quale in genere ci si rilassa, si riesce a godersi meglio la fiera.

E la peggiore? Un consiglio per migliorarla?

Dacchan: Una fiera che ci ha deluso particolarmente è il Napoli Comicon poiché c’erano pochi cosplayer e tra quei pochi erano in sostanza solo supereroi Marvel. Inoltre anche l’organizzazione era scarsa tanto che anche chi già possedeva il biglietto, ha dovuto aspettare un’ora e mezza sotto il sole solamente per accedere alla fiera, inutile dire che molte persone, tra le quali cosplayer, si sono sentite male. Un consiglio per migliorarla è sicuramente di ottimizzare l’organizzazione. Però quest’anno ne abbiamo sentito parlare molto bene quindi dobbiamo riandarci al più presto per verificare.

Quali sono le vostre serie preferite?

Hitomi: ci sono molte serie che seguiamo e amiamo, in particolare possiamo citare Love Live, Haikyuu, Pokèmon, Re: Zero e Evangelion.

I vostri cosplay sono tutti tratti da personaggi di manga e anime. Vi vedremo mai nei panni di un personaggio Marvel o DC?

Dacchan: in realtà io sono molto appassionata e ho già portato ad una fiera Tony Stark e spero che in futuro riuscirò a partecipare a qualche gruppo degli Avengers o della Justice League in quanto amante di entrambe. Hitomi: non mi sono mai interessata ai supereroi perciò non vedo cosplay di questo genere nel mio futuro.

Ci sono cosplayer che prendete come riferimento?

Hitomi: sì molti, ogni cosplayer è un’ispirazione per noi, se dovessi fare un solo nome direi sicuramente Yuriko Tiger che ammiro da molti anni e seguo costantemente.

Dacchan: io preferisco cosplayer più vicine a me come ad esempio mie amiche e amici.

Credete che fra 10 anni farete ancora cosplay?

Hitomi: Sì, assolutamente. È una passione fondamentale per noi e ormai radicata nella nostra persona perciò non è qualcosa che passa col tempo, inoltre c’è sempre da migliorare e nuovi cosplay da fare quindi non ci si annoia mai.

Quali sono i vostri prossimi progetti?

Hitomi: abbiamo molti cosplay da fare e gruppi ai quali partecipare, due in particolare sono di Rei Ayanami e Asuka Soryu Langley sui quali abbiamo molte aspettative.

Quali sono i vostri interessi oltre al cosplay?

Dacchan: la musica classica, siamo entrambe cresciute con essa frequentando l’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia perciò è parte di noi come lo è il cosplay.

Hitomi: per me anche la cultura e la lingua cinese rappresentano una passione importante.

Che genere di fotografia cosplay preferite? Avete fotografi “di fiducia”?

Dacchan: per la fotografia non abbiamo mai avuto interessi particolari, ci affidiamo sempre ad amici fotografi che ogni volta ci regalano scatti meravigliosi, ma ogni altra fotografia è sempre ben accetta.

Quale è la vostra fotografia preferita?

Hitomi: la nostra fotografia preferita è quella nella quale figuriamo Maki e Honoka nella versione Devil che abbiamo scattato al Lucca Comics, ha veramente dei bei colori e prende tutto il vestito, che a nostro parere è molto bello.

Un consiglio per chi si avvicina a questa esperienza per la prima volta?

Dacchan: per chiunque voglia inziare a fare cosplay consigliamo di armarsi di buona volontà e pazienza perché non è una cosa che può riuscire benissimo al primo tentativo perciò bisognerà provare più volte, almeno per quanto riguarda il primo cosplay. Se questa passione che avete è sincera siamo sicure che riuscirete a divertirvi in ogni situazione!
