Also Me: *playing my lute for Astarion* Mannn I wonder how would it be writing for BG3. Technically BG3 is fanfiction if you think about it since you are playing a customizable character and romancing your favorite companion…BUT…what if I made Raisa a bard companion to an established Tav?

One of my favorite things in BG3 is buying out everything I might want from evil merchants, then finding a corner to play music in while Astarion steals back all of our gold and then some.

Especially satisfying when they sell me the invisibility potion he uses to do so. 😄

(Really need to get a recipe for that...)

And then they throw gold at me at the end of it!

So at the beginning of BG3, it's suggested something bad will happen within a few days....so naturally I just avoided long rests as much as possible. Turns out long rests are when a lot of companion conversations happen. 😄

Worked out well though 'cause I probably would have been locked into a romance I didn't want before I met the one I did, if I hadn't put things off.

I don't know if it's the new patch or my re-install, but BG3 is so much slower to start up now. It just lingers at 100%, with the nature sounds in the background.

It took 15 minutes to start this time. 😣
