Elm being himself (kinda mean/snarky etc) but Heiðr just thinks it’s funny and laughs #She will tease him. And he will grumble about it. And many et ceteras. Alas I’ve run out of tags that’s all ur getting for now sorryyyy

That being said, how about that Book VII theme for FE heroes?

ok but for real I'm STRUGGLING

I like "you can't fight fate" stories. I like time travel and time loop stories. I like the weird desert-esque setting. I kiiiiiiind of like the multitone, bismuth-esque aesthetic for Seithr/Heithr. I HATE the summoner baby thing even though Heithr is... fine. I like the new mechanical changes (bonuses are at least more interesting than... whatever the fuck book 6 did. Movement I think? And Feuds. The new stuff like Terrain tho? Chefs kiss. Love it).

The OCs are... extremely Gacha game (not a bad thing, but definitely a thing that not everyone vibes with). I like Seithr mechanically with the end turn thing, Gullveig is not mechanically distinct enough from Leif/Edelgard imo, galeforce units is the same, Heithr is interesting support but ultimately not crazy. I think action economy is kind of the most important meta change they've introduced since movement and it's kind of always been premium, which is why double dancers are so rare (Duo Peony, Harmonic Dorothea, and Harmonic Azura are I think it? And then there's the pseudo double dancers of Brave Marianne and Legendary Ninian, but both of those are a bit more finicky tbh), so I certainly don't hate them experimenting with it some here.

Nerthuz is... ok. Sure, fine, I know the target audience. I think her color scheme is cool, and I'm not a huge fan of her playstyle niche with damage reflection AND Galeforce (She's doing too much, focus on one thing pls), and Njordr has an interesting design FEH wise but is such a nothingburger of a villian, what an actual waste. And if his playstyle gimmick mirrors anything of the fucking other Vanaheim Goats I'm going to self immolate, they are BORING units THERE I SAID IT. Freyr is the most interesting literally by virtue of them saying "Actually, Elimine has had it too good for too long. And by too good I mean you can False Start one column, better make it count. Oh wait now you can't False Start any column, PSYCH HERE IS A CATRIA BALL"

Anyways yes I have normal thoughts and feelings about this phone game. I am not at all too invested.

AGHHH HOW CAN THEY DO THAT TO ME, POSTING THE ENDING MOVIE TO BOOK 7 JUST LIKE THAT???

I was not prepared, not expecting it at alllllll….

Though it’s fitting, for a book about time, that it comes at a time when nobody saw it coming.

I’m a bit sad that it’s nearly time to say goodbye to Book 7… I know it wasn’t the most popular, but I still rather enjoyed it!! Even got a new favourite character out of it!

Now to copy paste my thoughts from twitter bc I am lazy lol:

I’ll miss you Book 7 thank you for bringing time travel storyline to feh it was really rather neat!!!Not a perfect book but when is there a perfect one rly.

And think it was a tragic chapter when the curse really took hold on u,,,, chilling, the full on gold art, the darkness and the serpent,,,, and how Seiðr had to mercy kill you,,,, a memorable moment for me indeed

Gullveig!!! So cool! Girlpower girlboss etc. Man do I love time travel etc and she sure represents it! And her whole gold serpent aesthetic is super cool. Even the tragedy behind her villainy is pretty darn cool. Golden Seer is awesome. Thank u Gullveig <3

Njörðr also was really cool!! I think his design was neat and he didn’t get the time (hahah time) needed to really develop his motives or anything but I think he was neat nonetheless and I appreciate his existence. Let’s hope he doesn’t take 10 years to get a playable version

I’m actually motivated to be writing something lately omg,,, it’s so so much fun writing when I can get in such a groove like this!!

So, even though I’m not done writing it, I wanna gush about it a little. Without giving too much away, haha. You can’t get the whole story summary here, I still want people to read the fic once it’s done :P

It is a combination of my thoughts on Njörðr and how fitting he would be for a New Year’s alt, and how him and Heiðr contrast each other - her not having much time, but being grateful for the time she got, and him getting old after many many years and fearing the continued passage of time as he grows weaker.

So yes, it’s pretty interesting stuff to write about! :))
