so a few months back, around the time the feh book 7 trailer released, i tried to google translate (terribly) the trailer music into "english" to see what could be gleaned

ofc, with how unreliable gt is, it's kinda hard to understand, but ig i'll post it regardless

there's still stuff i couldn't get google translate to decipher for me so (shrug)

i also have the book 7 boss theme "translated"

and now i wonder if anything new could be gleaned of it with how far we're into the book?

I don't anyone expected the King of Vanahimer (Whatever the fuck his name is) to be a fucking traitor. He better have a reason for screwing over everyone cause I don't think Gullveig is going to spare him.

Also, RIP Heidr, but I saw it coming the moment she was introduced. Someone has to have a dead sibling in this book, it's unavoidable.

So... the explanation that Seiđr provides makes me think. What if the combination of KiranxSeiđr actually creates baby Gullveig??? Does that mean it's our fault that Gullveig is terrorizing everyone in book seven? Does this mean that everyone who horny voted for Gullveig is inadvertently committing incest? Because that would be funny since we've been joking about IS's incest tendencies but imagine if the turns have tabled lol.

Aside from book 7 obviously involving time in some way (trailer and starting at I suppose the climax ala awakening style) and the book might be focusing on Kiran and Alfonse (more so Kiran), all I could think about when I saw this was

"Damn Alfonse got snapped"

Ok since yesterday there was a wild discourse on whether or not Gullveig's design is misogynestic which as someone who never liked her design and found it to be unappealing I didn't care and it started getting on my nerves so I ended up making this redesign and fixed her broken hand.

I am not claiming it's better then the OG because it's not supposed to be a fix up, it's just a redesign and I don't want to hear anything anymore about Yoshiku. I wasn't there when they had to design her so I have no idea why they made X or Y choices, for all I know they could have just obeyed the IS art direction or did it because they genuinely liked it without thinking too hard about it. I personally think her design doesn't make sense but this apply to Book 7 as a whole.

Also, I had to look up OG Gullveig (the Mythology one) to make this one and ... let's say that when I looked at the reference, her current design made suddenly much more sense.

We were so close to getting a tome Lucius...! IS actually remembered Lucius existed and gave him an alt, but then they forgot which weapon he starts out with again!!! (I'm sure it's intentional, tbh)
