It was simple at first.
"Sex only?" You asked while Fermin nodded his head.
"We're both too busy to maintain a relationship, so why not just agree to be sex buddies, besides that, you need to leave in 3 months. I mean we both enjoy the sex don't we?" Your eyes lit up at the suggestion. Your friendship was falling apart since weeks now. So you agreed.
You originally met him at the university in a class where you had to work on a project together. The connection between you two was felt immediately. He also was shocked that your Spanish was that good since you're from Poland, you only moved to Barcelona to study for a few years before moving there.
"And you're...?" Fermin pulled the chair next to you so he could sit down. You threw your hair behind your back after you looked at the fit blonde man next to you.
"Y/n" You couldn't help but smile at him.
"Beautiful name." He didn't try to hide that he was flirting, the smile and the way he turned to face you in his chair was so obvious. "I'm Fermin."
"Nice to meet you Fermin." You looked up at him, he was slightly taller than you while sitting.
"It's a pleasure for me. It's also a pleasure to be working with you, I'm sure we're gonna have a great time together." Fermin told you without paying attention to his surroundings.
"Mr López, enough of the flirting you have time for that in your free time." Your professor scolded him and you quickly turned your head the other way to laugh.
Fermin shook his head while looking down into his lap, trying to hide that smile that spread across his lips when you looked at him again.

Suddenly Fermin sat down next to you on the bench in front of the school. "What are your plans for next year?" Fermin avoided eye contact while you looked at him with a shocked expression.

"Wait, you're not spanish?" He turned his upper body towards you as his brows knit together. He raised his brows as you shook your head. "Your Spanish is incredibly good. Its fascinating almost, taking that you're not even Spanish." He stopped for a second while he looked away. "Where are you from?"
"Im from poland" You answered and he couldn't help but smile at your words.
"So you can talk to Lewandowski?" He laughed a bit while you just grinned at his words.
"If I ever meet Lewandowski I'll talk to him in polish, yeah." You laughed.
Fermin the smiled. "When I play in the first team with him, I'll make sure that you're gonna talk to him in polish."

"Are you free tonight or do you have to study?" Fermins face was visible on your phone as you held it infront of you. You were just taking a walk on the beach when the midfielder facetimed you. Fermin had to leave for practice in 10 minutes so he wanted to talk to you about his idea. Even tho his friends knew about the two of you hooking up, he hated to talk about that topic in front of them.
"I have to study, but I can maje some time, when do you get off practice?" You inhaled the fresh air coming from the ocean while your shoes kept sinking into the sand.
"Can I come over after practice? That gives you another six hours to study." Fermins lips grew inro a smile afyer he heard that one sigh that meant 'fine, you have convinced me'. And he was right. "Fine, but shower at the facilities, I dont want you using my shampoo ever again." You gwve him a strict look. The midfielder bit his lip whole he nodded.
"I will, see you later." Fermin looked at you and the blue sky behind you. "Bye" You gwve him a small smile and then hung up the phone. After his face disappeared from the display, your airpods started playing runaway by Kanye West again, the midfielder calling you had paused the music on your phone. You inhaled sharply and then went on with your day.

"Hey babe!" Fermins voice echoed through the hallway right after the door slammed shut.
"I told you to stop calling me that." You sung without even taking your eyes off of the papers infront of you.
"Hey Sexbuddy, does that sound better?" Fermin was standing behind you, his presence made you feel hot immediately.

"I can't, you know that. What we have is just sex, we agreed on that." Fermin answered shortly and then turned back to the shirt he wanted to pull over his head.
"Your time is running out, how long until she leaves?" Gavi stood in that one spot while his friend kept changing his clothes.
"2 months." Fermin answered and avoided eye contact.
"You need to tell her as soon as possible." Gavi gave him a serious look before he turned around and made his way to his locker.

"Are you busy?" Fermin asked while you just walked into the locker room at the gym you were going to. A deep sigh escaped your lips as your chest was still rising up and down at a bit of a faster pace.

"Yeah, just hurry, and I'll need to take a shower when we're there." You explained while already grabbing your hoodie so that youre not walking around with a sports bra only.
"Perfect me too, see you soon." Fermin hung up the phone with a wide smile. You on the other hand wasn't so smiley. So when Fermins car stopped at the side of the road and you were able to get in, he notoced immediately that you were in a bad mood.
He leaned over the center console and pressed a kiss on your lips, your eyes immediately widened and you pulled away from him.
"What are you doing?" You raised your voice a little as you looked at him shocked. Fermins smile had faded and he just loomed at you, confused while hie mouth was slightl open.
"I kissed you" Fermin tried to justify himself and he began to drive while you grabbed the seatbelt.
"Why here, do you want anyone to see? Do you want the media to know that we're fuck buddies?" You asked, Fermin just stayed quiet while he focused on ths road and listened to you. He knew that you were right but it still hurt him a bit.
So he mumbled a quiet "Sorry" and you scoffed while pulling out your phone.
Fermin on the other hand was biting down on his tongue while he really tried to keep his mouth shut. He just got the confirmation that you would never want to be his girlfriend, you dont wanna be seen with him.
So he stayed quiet, until he parked down the car in front of your apartment. "So you're still down to fuck?" Fermin asked, speaking way too fast but confident while he looked at you, brows knit together.
As soon as you heard his tone you turned your head confused. "Are you seriously mad now?" Your brows were raised and the midfielder scoffed while shaking his head and turning off the car.

"Fer, come on" you walked a bit faster so you could catch up with him, he walked to your apartment and unlocked the door with his key. Then he turned around as soon as you closed the door.
"So you still wanna get laid? I see." Fermin nodded without even trying to hear you out. You tried to speak up multiple times but he always just answered with "no" and cut you off, until you had enough.

He lifted his head again as he mumbled a quiet "Sorry" while looking into your eyes with all honesty. "I'm so sorry, you're right." Fermin told you again, this time you didn't just stand there, taking a step closer to him, you wrapped your arms around him and rested your head against his body.
He also put his arms around you and immediately he felt safe, he felt like everything in the world was okay again. That was when his eyes widened, however you didn't notice that. The truth was, Fermin was scared of his feelings, of his romantical feelings towards you.
He didn't want to fall in love with his sex buddy, what was even worse that you were leaving soon.
You pulled him back from his thought as you looked up at him due to him being slightly taller. "I still wanna get laid tho." A smile displayed on your lips while Fermin was looking back at you with an even bigger one.

"But-" He began but then stopped mid sentence. "Okay, I'll see you later." He gave you a faint smile while he grabbed his things and went towards the door. You flashed him an awkward smile and then watched him leave the bedroom.
THE NEXT DAY
"You have to tell him that you like him too." Luca whispered to you and you raised your head immediately to cover up his mouth with your hand.

"I'm afraid to start something with him that I cannot finish if I have to go back to Poland soon" You said and Luca furrowed his brows while he thought of a solution.
"Just stay here then" He shrugged his shoulders as he suggested. Your eyes widened and you gave him a look.
"You think its that easy? I dont have the money to live here, let alone afford something anywhere in the world." You admitted to which Luca reacted with a smile.
"Ask him to stay at his place until you can afford your own." Your classmate turned his head to face you and you looked back at him.
"You're not completely sane, I'm telling you." You mumbled while shaking your head, he laughed a little bit at your words.
You sighed deeply and then looked at Fermin across the classroom who was writing something on his paper. "I will talk to him."
"Hey Fer," Fermin turned around as soon as he heard you call his name. "can we talk?" You asked.
"Yeah, what's up" Fermin seemed closed off to you, he was even a bit awkward when talking to you.
"Can we go back to your place maybe? Just somewhere private." You suggested and he quickly nodded, then he turned around and you both got into his car. This is not the first time people from uni see you getting into Fermins car.
The drive to his place was quiet, awkward and uncomfortable. Not only for you but for him too. So when you arrived at his place, immediately you went inside and sat down on his couch. You weren't at his place that often because he preferred to stay at yours rather than at his.
So when he sat down next to you, you let out a heavy sight but he cut you off before you were able to even begin talking.
"I'm sorry, I know falling in love with you was a mistake when we agreed to only have sex, but you're so-" Fermin rushed his words until you said something.
"I love you too." Fermin however ignored you and kept talking.

"That means I can't let you go back to Poland." Fermin pulled back by an inch to look at you.
"If you'll ask me to, I'll never visit Poland again."

After you had breakfast, he was getting ready for training and you helped him pack his boots. "Thanks, love. I'll see you soon" he said, pecking your lips. "Good luck today".

Gavi smirked and Fermin looked away. "I knew it!". "So Fermin finally got laid?" Ferran asked. "My love life is my business, not yours" Fermin said. "Oh come on. If I had a girlfriend like Y/N, I would take every chance I get. Have you see how good she looks?" Ferran said. "Don't do something stupid" Pedri whispered to Fermin, who was flaming red. "Keep my girlfriend's name out of your fucking filthy mouth, yeah?" Fermin muttered, bumping his shoulder into the other player. "Ferran, cut it" Pedri warned his friend. For once in his life, he had to tame the spirits.

"Go change" you urged Fermin who didn't seem to want to let you go. Weird, you thought.
"So... how's going?" Gavi asked. "Good, I guess" you said, stirring the pasta into the sauce. "I'm happy for you, but don't tell Fermin I said this" he whispered, noticing your boyfriend making his way back to the kitchen. "What are you guys whispering about? We should eat, I'm starving" Fermin said. "Bon appétit" you chuckled. "You don't have to be jealous of me, Fermin. I won't steal your girl" Gavi joked, but Fermin turned somehow serious. "Did something happen at training?" You asked. "I think it's better if you tell her" Gavi said. "Delicious food Y/N, but gotta go. See you tomorrow, Fermin" he added.

Arbitration by Two Plaintiffs Does not Stay Trial By Other Plaintiffs
A group of homeowners sued multiple attorneys, “door-to-door solicitors,” and insurance adjusters, including public adjuster National Claims Negotiators LLC (NCN), alleging fraud and other individual and class claims regarding insurance proceeds for roof repairs.
In National Claims Negotiators LLC v. Juan Guerra, Amanda Cardenas, Cesar Quinones, Fernando Marin, Kevin Clay, Barry Nix, Sandra Nix, Juan Deltoro, Glen Moore, Gail Moore, Esmerelda Hernandez, And Fermin Lopez, No. 05-19-00495-CV, Court of Appeals Fifth District of Texas at Dallas (March 31, 2020) The attorney defendants moved to compel arbitration of claims asserted against them by two appellees, Juan Guerra and Juan Deltoro, with whom they had signed arbitration agreements. After the trial court granted that motion, NCN moved to stay the litigation against it until the attorney defendants’ arbitration concluded. The trial court denied NCN’s motion to stay.
In a single issue on appeal, NCN contended the trial court abused its discretion by denying NCN’s requested stay because of the arbitration two plaintiffs agreed to use with regard to disputes with the lawyers.
BACKGROUND
In their suit the appellees described the defendants as falling into three groups:
door-to-door solicitors,
public insurance adjusters, and
attorneys.
The Scheme Alleged
According to the suit the defendants “have set up a scam using Texas insurance policyholders as pawns to make themselves rich at the expense of Texas homeowners.” They describe an “elaborate web” that begins with the door-to-door solicitors “telling a homeowner his/her roof is damaged and they can get the homeowner’s insurer to buy the homeowner a new roof.” “Following these door-to-door salesmen attempting to collect payment from the homeowner’s insurer, the next play is to bring in a ‘public adjuster’ or person(s) alleged to be public adjusters as the second level of the claim.” The public adjuster “will then charge the homeowner a ten percent (10%) fee ‘to represent’ the homeowner” and “charge the homeowner additional fees to inspect the home and for reports to allegedly advance the homeowner’s claims.” When the public adjuster “fails to recover any payment, or more likely does nothing substantive to settle the homeowner’s claims,” an attorney “is brought in.” The door-to-door solicitors “provide the homeowner with agreements to sign for the public adjuster and the lawyer.” The homeowner ultimately receives a “settlement share” with “inappropriate” amounts deducted. By the time a lawyer gets involved, the homeowner is saddled with a 10% contingency fee from the public adjuster as well as other unnecessary and perhaps even fraudulent expenses” and “the lawyer then heaps a 30% or more contingency fee as well as other unnecessary and perhaps even fraudulent expenses on the Texas homeowner.”
The petition separately described each appellee’s experience involving the defendants and asserted claims against “all defendants” for fraud, barratry, breach of fiduciary duty, violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, aiding and abetting breaches of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, and vicarious liability. Claims against NCN and other non-attorney defendants for “alter ego. Claims against the door to door solicitors for conversion. Class claims against each defendant group for fraud and breach of fiduciary duties. Mr. Guerra and Mr. Deltoro were the only appellees whose complained-of experiences involved the attorney defendants. Ten appellees, including Mr. Guerra and Mr. Deltoro, alleged involvement with adjuster defendants they described as including “and/or NCN.”
The Arbitration Decision
After the trial court compelled arbitration of Mr. Guerra and Mr. Deltoro’s claims against the attorney defendants, thus staying litigation as to those claims, NCN filed a motion to stay all proceedings with respect to the claims against NCN pending conclusion of the arbitration.
The trial court denied NCN’s motion to stay.
ANALYSIS
When an issue is pending in both arbitration and litigation, arbitration should be given priority to the extent it is likely to resolve issues material to the lawsuit. Issues that are not the subject of arbitration need not be stayed until the arbitration is concluded.
Factors courts consider include whether (1) the arbitrated and litigated disputes involve the same operative facts, (2) the claims asserted in the arbitration and litigation are “inherently inseparable,” and (3) the litigation has a “critical impact” on the arbitration.
The Trial Court Did Not Abuse Its Discretion By Denying NCN’s Motion To Stay
The claims subject to arbitration include only Mr. Guerra and Mr. Deltoro’s claims against the attorney defendants.
The record shows:
each appellee relied on a separate, distinct set of underlying facts and there is no single incident or contract common to all appellees, even though the petition describes a pervasive “scam” and alleged the same causes of action against multiple defendants;
the petition alleged that the adjuster defendants, including “and/or NCN,” made representations to, and imposed individual charges on, each appellee;
while the arbitration includes only two appellees and the attorney defendants, the litigation involves all twelve appellees and their experiences with the defendants at various chronological stages of the alleged fraud, including distinctions as to each defendant group’s roles and acts; and
NCN’s motion in the trial court requested a stay of “all proceedings.”
The fact that nonarbitrable claims against third parties are based on facts related to arbitrable claims does not alone make a stay of those claims necessary.
As to factors two and three, NCN further contended the claims are “inherently inseparable” and the litigation will have a critical impact on the arbitration because the plaintiffs only allege that they suffered one harm: the reduction or loss of their homeowners’ insurance proceeds. In order to determine whether the Attorney Defendants engaged in a conspiracy with NCN the arbitrator will necessarily review the same operative facts as the jury in the litigation. NCN contended that if the litigation is allowed to proceed it may resolve some of the same issues to be determined to arbitration.
The Court of Appeal noted that this case involves a suit with multiple plaintiffs unrelated by anything but similar harm from a similar scheme; the petition describes multiple transactions, differentiating the defendants’ actions. Rather than alleging “one harm” appellees described damages based on their individual interactions at various stages of their experiences with members of the three defendant groups.
Because the Plaintiffs are seeking remedies for different violations, the claims are not inherently inseparable. Likewise, the conspiracy and vicarious liability claims are dependent on each appellee’s experience regarding the defendants alleged to have harmed that appellee.
The question is not ultimately one of weighing potential harm to the interests of the non-signatory, but of determining whether proceeding with litigation will destroy the signatories’ right to a meaningful arbitration. The trial court and the court of appeal concluded it would not deprive the parties of a meaningful arbitration.
In accordance with the Court’s opinion, the judgment of the trial court was affirmed and appellees Juan Guerra, Amanda Cardenas, Cesar Quinones, Fernando Marin, Kevin Clay, Barry Nix, Sandra Nix, Juan Deltoro, Glen Moore, Gail Moore, Esmerelda Hernandez, and Fermin Lopez recover their costs of this appeal from appellant National Claims Negotiators LLC.
ZALMA OPINION
The suit against the lawyers, public adjusters and solicitors will proceed except as to the two plaintiffs who agreed to arbitration. If proved at trial the actions claimed of the solicitors, adjusters and lawyers are unconscionable and should result in damages and disciplinary action. If not proved the plaintiffs will lose. If the allegations are true not only do the plaintiffs have a provable cause of action but the Department of Insurance of the State of Texas should start its own investigation as should the Texas Supreme Court for the false and allegedly fraudulent activities of the lawyers and adjusters.

Part 1
A/N: I really hope you will all like this story. It’s my first pretty long story (it will have around 10 parts, so stay tuned ;) ) that I’m posting here. You can also find the story on my wattpad account (username: tmrxlover_writer).

Another day at Uni after he just scored his first La Liga goal . He was buzzing, but had to be on time for classes. He was sure the whole university will congratulate him. Being famous was difficult when you just wanted to be a normal student.
"Our boy Fermin is back!"
You looked up from your notes to see Fermin being congratulated by the whole class. People hugging him, patting him on the back. "Thanks man" he kept saying, trying to make his way to his place. He just wanted the class to begin so everyone could leave him alone. "Hey" he said, sitting next to you. "Hi" you replied quietly. Being the shy nerdy girl was bad enough when you were sitting near the hot athletic guy. You asked yourself multiple times why did he choose to sit near you in the first year. There were a lot of empty places, but he chose the second row in the front, exactly near you. "Anything that I missed?" He asked, looking at your notes. He always admired your beautiful handwriting and how organised you were, so he knew where to choose to sit at your first class together. Surely not the guy with only a piece of paper and a pen, but rather the girl surrounded by books, coloured pencils and a cup of coffee. He didn't have the balls to ask you to get coffee in the morning, even though he wasn't drinking it, he would offer to come along with you.
"Erm...not really. We talked about more practical stuff. I made some notes if you want to take a picture or something" you offered shyly. You never ever gave your notes to anyone because they were just some lazy asses who didn't care about anything, but you were here to learn. You wanted to be a physiotherapist. They were here just to get a diploma. Not Fermin though. He was passionate about the subject, even though he missed a lot of classes because of his packed schedule. You were willing to help him because he showed interest. And appreciated your work too.
"Thanks. Actually I had an idea, I mean a proposal" he said. "I'm quite behind with everything, so I was wondering if you'd like to meet somewhere and help me catch up? It's okay if you don't want to" he said nervously. Why the heck was he nervous? He scored his first goal in freaking La Liga and was nervous talking to a girl he's seen almost every day in 3 years. You thought about his idea, you wanted to help him, but you weren't the person to meet up in random places to study. You liked the confined space of your room and desk, and maybe the library or the coffee shop, when you had to do computer work.
"I don't want to sound... uhh... like I'm inviting myself" he said blushing as if reading your mind. "But I can come to your place, if that's okay with you". "I... uhh" you rambled on, but the professor was already in class, ready to read one of his boring presentations for 2 hours. You barely paid attention to what he was saying, debating whether to accept Fermin's idea or not, while drawing random patterns on your copybook. Fermin noticed you zooming out so he scribbled something down on his own copybook. He nudged you so you could read what he wrote.
It's okay. It was just an idea :)
You shook your head, writing under his: we talk after the class.
For the rest of the class, you took notes, while Fermin tried paying attention, but his mind kept drifting off somewhere else. What if he overstepped with all this I-can-come-to-your-place-to-study thing and you would think he's weird? He face palmed himself for that, but you were his only hope to pass the exams this semester. The professor finally ended the class and you started packing your bag. Neither of you spoke until you were out of the class.
"Listen I—"
"It's okay if—"
You both stopped mid sentence and chuckled. "You first" he encouraged. "So, I think it's okay for you to come. I live alone anyway. Just tell me when it's okay with you". Fermin couldn't believe what he was hearing. You never ever invited someone over and he could respect that it was your safe place and he didn't want to intrude. "Are you sure it's okay?" And thank you" he said, climbing into his car. He thought of offering you a car ride, but maybe it was too much overstepping in one day, so he just waved at you and you waved back to him.
When you arrived home, you thought about this day. What the heck was today? Of course you gave him your notes pretty often, but him to come here to study? That was a whole new level.

Hello everyone! I decided to start writing about Fermin since he’s really hot 🥵 Hope you enjoy!
Mostly fluff in this story, some kissing and a lot of teasing, mentions of accident and blood, but nothing too bad
"Fermin, what are you doing? Someone could see us" you whined as he dragged you behind a wall. "Just needed to kiss you before the game" he said, pecking your lips. "Okay you got your kiss, come on" you said, trying to push him away. "Noo..." he whined, lips moulding with yours in a passionate kiss. "Y/N, where are you? We have to take our places". "Fuck" you moaned, pushing Fermin away. "I'm coming" you replied. "I can't be mad at you because it's your first game in which you start. So good luck" you said, leaving to go with your co-worker.
Nobody knew about your relationship with the Barça player. Your colleagues in the media department always asked who was bringing you coffee almost every morning. And the Barça players always asked Fermin why did he have rosy cheeks or smiling a bit too much after a hard training.
"Camera ready?" Alex, your co-worker asked. "Yep. You?". "Sì. Let the game begin". It was the first time you got to revoked the game from the pitch, field cam as it was named. Obviously it was kind of dangerous, but you like to see the action from up close. That was until a player from Betis tackled the ball and slid into you. And to make it even worse, the ball hit Alex in the head. "Fucking hell" he moaned in pain. "You're bleeding. Hey! You gotta stop the game!" He shouted to the referee, but the game was resumed. "It's fine" you said, although your leg looked really bad. "Hey! Stop the game!" Alex kept shouting until the Betis goalkeeper noticed you two.
"Huh? Why did he stop?!" Gavi asked fuming. "Probably a fan fainted" Pedri shrugged. "Fuck no" Fermin groaned, making a run to where you where surrounded by the medical team. "Hey... what happened?" He asked, a hand on your shoulder. "Just an accident really" you said. "This job's dangerous eh?" The player who tackled you joked. "Apologise to her right now" Fermin said. "It's not a big deal. I get those all the time" he shrugged. "Yeah? What about I rip your leg in this game then?" Fermin turned defensive. "Fermin" you said. He turned to look at you, eyes flaming red. "Okay sorry... bitch" he mumbled the last part, but Fermin heard him and pushed him on the ground. "Fermin! Stop it" you said, but the Spaniard didn't listen to you. Both of the players got a yellow card for it and the medics helped you walk to the changing rooms.
"You're stupid" you told Fermin. "I agree" Gavi said. "Even I wouldn't do that—". "You would do it for your girlfriend" Fermin argued. "Girlfriend? Whose girlfriend is what???" The whole squad turned to look at you. "I... uh... we... you see..." you mumbled. "Y/N, my lovely girlfriend" Fermin said, smiling. "What no! We're not—".
"OOOOH!!!"
"Now I see everything!"
"Yeah me too"
"Why was he smiling after that hard training"
"And he's rosy cheeks too. He was meeting with Y/N"
You were completely confused. "It's okay. I'll Talk with your boss, explain the situation" Fermin's voice was calming you. "I thought... you're..." you still couldn't form a coherent sentence. "Fermin is in love" Ferran sang. "Yeah... I kinda am. With her by my side how can I not be?" He said making you blush. "It will be alright. I promise" Fermin said, pulling you aside. "I'm not sure" you said. "And if they kick you out, we have more time to spend together" he shrugged. You gave him a look. "Okay... I know this is important for you. I promise you won't lose your job because of me" he said. You caught Gavi's smirk and decided to give them something more to tease Fermin with.
"Ouch my leg" you moaned. "Are you alright? Sit here on the bench, love" Fermin panicked, putting your arm around his neck for support. "Aww look at them" Lewi said. "Shut up okay?" Fermin said irritated. "Can we go home?" You pouted. "Of course. Just let me take my things" he said, pecking your lips.
"Really you don't have anything to worry about. It's not like it's forbidden to date one the players" Pedri said. "Not really I think. I just don't want people to go crazy over it" you said. "I promise we will only tease him, not you" Gavi said. "Okay I'm ready. Let's go" Fermin said, helping you up again. "Speedy recovery, Y/N" the squad said. "Thanks guys".
"I so love you, Fermin" you said when you were in his car, far from all the teasing. "I knew it. I love you too" he said, smiling into the kiss he gave you.

Another day at Uni after he just scored yet another La Liga goal. He was buzzing, but had to be on time for classes. He was sure the whole university will congratulate him again.
"Our boy Fermin is back!"
You looked up from your notes to see Fermin being congratulated by the whole class. People hugging him, patting him on the back. "Thanks man" he kept saying, trying to make his way to his place. You felt a déjà-vu from when he scored his first goal. It happened just the same, with him sitting near you, except that now he had a coffee cup, then him asking you to help him study, and all the things that happened which led to you two being together. "Morning. This is for you" he smiled, putting the coffee cup near your book. "Thanks, Fermin".
"Are you feeling better? After last night" Fermin asked. "Huh?" You asked confused. "Come on, you have to tell me what happened" he whined as you quietly ate your sandwich. You didn't like the attention you got from the entire university that Fermin was sitting with you at lunch time. "Nothing happened. It was an amazing night. Can we stop talking about that?" You snapped. "And they say communication is key" Fermin mumbled, placing his hand on your right knee, which didn't go unnoticed by his girl fans. "We aren't public, so stop acting like that" you said, pushing his hand away. "Okay I get it, your bad mood is still present" Fermin said. "And I'll get you to tell me why".
After classes, at which Fermin wasn't present because he had training, but promised he'll pick you up, you were waiting for him in front of the University building. "Have you seen her? He's definitely not in love with her" a group of girls passed by you.
"He should be with me. See? I have boobs and a big ass"
"Look at how she dresses. A nerd"
"I bet he wouldn't even have sex with her because she's so ugly"
You tried not to cry hearing those because they weren't true. Or were they? You weren't the most popular girl, yet Fermin was dating you. You weren't the one to wear designer clothes, but Fermin did. He never really told you his type of girl, but now that you thought about it, he would surely want a tall, skinny, boobs and ass girl, just like any football player.
"It's not true what they say" Adrian, the nerdy guy from your class, said. "Maybe it is" you shrugged. "I'm sure it's not. Not every boy wants boobs and ass. I prefer brain" he said, making a nerdy joke which actually made you smile. "Thanks Adrian. That's Fermin, I better go" you said, waving at your colleague.
Meanwhile, Fermin was watching the little interaction between you and Adrian. What did he say that made you smile? He always thought you would end up together because Adrian was basically your masculine version, the nerdy guy. Obviously he thought you weren't nerdy, you were just smart. "Hey again. How was training?" You asked, climbing in his car.
He tried to hide the fact that he was jealous, but it didn't really work when his reply sounded harsher than he intended to. He saw how your mood changed, just like that time with the presentation, and neither of you spoke about it.
"Thanks" you said, hurrying to your flat. "Y/N, we need to talk" Fermin said, following you. "I'm tired" you replied. "Me too. But I want to know what's wrong with you" he said. "Me? I'm not the one talking like an absolute dickhead to people" you snapped. "Alright, I'm sorry. I was jealous okay? Of you and Adrian. I saw that he made you smile when I couldn't" he explained. You were taken aback by his confession. He was jealous of other guys being around you? "Adrian is just a colleague, nothing more. And you really tried to cheer me up, don't you think I didn't notice" you said as you both sat on the couch. "So, will you tell me what's bothering you, pretty girl?" Fermin asked. "Yeah. It's actually two things" you said and Fermin nodded for you to continue.
"Yesterday, when we drive Gavi home, he kind of made some comments that made me uncomfortable. I didn't want to tell you because he's your best friend and I don't want you to change because of me" you finally express your feelings openly. "The ones with congratulating me? Celebrating in that way?" He said. "Yeah". "He was just teasing me because I haven't gotten laid in like a year and he's always making fun of me" Fermin chuckled. "Plus, we don't have to do it now. Time will come" he shrugged. "You, Fermin López, didn't shag anyone? Holy shit" you said and he laughed at your reaction. "I'm a good boy, Y/N" he said, battling his beautiful eyelashes at you. "But if they make you feel uncomfortable, just tell me. They can be a bit overwhelming, but that's just guys jokes" he said. "And the second thing?"
"It's related to Adrian in some way. He tried to cheer me up because we both heard those popular girls talking about me, how I don't suit you because I don't have a perfect body and I dress like a nerd. And then I thought that they maybe were right, because you could have anyone, yet—". "I want you and only you" Fermin interrupted. "Yeah, but don't you want like a girl with a nice body shape?" You asked. "I prefer brain over other things though" he said. "And you're beautiful. So beautiful I could kiss you right now" he whispered. "Even though I look like a zombie after 8 hours of courses?" You laughed. "Yeah. Even so. You're my zombie" he said, softly kissing your lips. You immediately responded to the kiss, his lips making you feel some kind of way that you never wanted to stop. "Y/N..." he groaned when you climbed into his lap, hands resting on his chest. "What?" You asked. "Nothing, just... I want to ask you out on a date" he said, blushing.
"A date?"
"Yeah"
"Never been on a date before" you admitted, embarrassed. "So it will be your first first-date? Awesome" Fermin said. "It's not. I don't even know how to act" you pouted. "Like yourself, because that's what I like" he said, kissing your pouty lips. "And where do we go?" You asked. "You'll see. Just dress casually" he said. "Dress casually" you snorted. "Like a hoodie or what?". "Yeah, like that. Comfy clothes" he shrugged. "So... is that a yes?" He asked. "Yes yes. When?". "When you're free" he shrugged. "And when you are free" you chuckled. "I can miss a class, it's no big deal" you shrugged and he gasped. "You missing a class? Bad, bad girl" he tutted, smirking. "Yeah whatever. Tell me when" you whined.
"Tomorrow at 5" he said.
"A.m.?"
"No, love. P.m."
"Okay, cuz I can miss classes, but my sleep is precious" you said, making him laugh. "Then tomorrow at 5 pm" he said, kissing your lips one more time before he left.

A/N: things are getting more interesting from now on 🤭
Summary: Fermin is sick, so you’re taking care of him and also meet his best mate.

"Hey"
His voice was groggy on the phone when he picked up. "Hey. Are you coming today?" You asked. "Sorry I completely forgot to tell you. I'm not feeling very well" he groaned, probably frustrated he forgot. "It's okay... if you want I can pass by, bring you the new stuff" you suggested. "Yeah, if you have time" he coughed. "Sure. Can I come now? Or is it too late?" You asked, looking at the clock. 4 pm. "No, it's okay" he replied. "Okay I'll be there in an hour".
Before packing your books, you made a list with what to buy. He wasn't very specific with what was not well with him, but you supposed he got the flu, so you typed some things on your phone and left your apartment.
While you were decided which sweets to buy, Fermin was freaking out. His place was a mess, he didn't even unpack his bag from the National camp, he didn't wash the dishes and he didn't change his clothes for two days. The fever he got made him not leave the bed that much. So he put the dishes into the dishwasher, threw his clothes from the bag into the washing machine and put on a fresh pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. Then he cleaned the living room and kitchen for a bit, and turned the tv on. Now he knew how you felt when he came into your place.
"Hi?" Fermin asked, picking up his phone. "Hey Fermin, it's me. I forgot to ask you where you live" you chuckled. Damn, having a crush on you made him look stupid. "Yeah I'll share the location" he replied. You were both two idiots (in love).
"Hey" he said, opening the door for you. "Nice neighbourhood" you said, passing by him. "You didn't have to" he said, helping you with the bags in your hands. "Well, I remember someone bringing me coffee and breakfast, so it felt just right to do this. Especially since you said you're not feeling well" you blushed, taking your shoes off. "Well thanks, but this is not really food? Like they're ingredients" he asked confused. "Well yeah, I thought I could cook my secret recipe for when I'm not feeling well" you said, following him to the kitchen. "You don't have to" he said. "I know, but I want to" you shrugged. "And here are the notes I made. And we have to do a presentation for next time" you said, placing your books on the kitchen island. "Me and you?" He asked. "I don't know yet. Professor M. said he'll think about it. But you need to come to the class to present it together" you explained. "Well I can come, but I'm a bit sick" he chuckled. "That's okay. I bet you're not in for a project" you said, getting the ingredients out. "Not even for keeping my eyes opened" he said. "So what are you making?" He asked. "Chicken soup. And a dessert, I hope you can eat it" you said. "Usually maybe not, but coach told me to do anything to be fully recovered in a week, so..." he shrugged, sitting on the bar stool, watching how easily you made your way through his kitchen. Like you actually lived here. It felt so domestic being like this with you.
He browsed through your notes, groaning when a sharp pain went through his head. "You okay?" You asked worried. "Yeah, I have a headache" he replied. "Maybe you should lay down" you suggested. "But the courses—". "Go on the sofa" you said. "So bossy" he smirked, but you were right. No point in forcing his brain to do anything if it was in pain. He laid down, still having a view of you in the kitchen. "Here. It's for headaches and fever. And put a blanket on" you sighed. "Food is almost ready, so don't fall asleep" you said, noticing how his eyes got drowsier. You went back into the kitchen, finishing the last things when the door bell rang. "You stay right there" you warned him. "I'll take it".
"Hola?" The guy you opened the door to said. "Is Fermin home?" He asked. "Yeah hi. He is a bit sick. Come in" you said politely. "Gracias" he smiled, coming in and discarding his shoes. "Fermin cabron..." he said, sitting near Fermin on the sofa and started talking in Spanish. You went to put the food into the dishes while you heard them talking and caught some words novia, muy guapa. "Food's ready" you announced and the boys came to sit at the kitchen island.
"Fermin didn't tell us he had a girlfriend" the guy said smirking. "Y/N, this is Gavi and Gavi this is Y/N, a colleague from university" Fermin introduced the two of you. "Nice to meet you" you smiled, taking a bite of your food. "She's a fan actually. Has a t-shirt of you" Fermin said casually and you choked on your food. "That so? Maybe I can sign in for you some time" he offered. "Yeah that would be great thanks" you said, kicking Fermin under the table. "It's good that there is someone to take care of him, poor guy. He really wanted to train today" Gavi said with puppy eyes. "If he rests, he'll be back in no time" you said. "But he has to study right?" He asked and you nodded. "Yeah actually we have a project together, so tell me when it's okay to come" you said to Fermin. "Well I'm already a bit better thanks to you, so maybe in 2 days? That okay?" Fermin asked and you nodded.
"You walked here?" Fermin asked as you washed the dishes, even though he told you to just leave them, you couldn't. "Yeah". "It's pretty late. I can ask Gavi to drive you home" he suggested. "If he doesn't mind me" you shrugged. "He won't. Thank you for today. You didn't have to—". "I wanted to. And I'll see you in 2 days" you said, taking your things. "Yeah see y'a. And goodnight" Fermin smiled.
"So... you're together?" Gavi broke the ice. You burst into laughing and so did he. "That was so lame" you said. "I know I know, sorry. But he's very focused on football, so I didn't know if he had someone" he explained. "But I forgot about university and pretty girls" he added. "It's just this year that we started talking more. His friends dropped out and I'm the only one who's actually going to classes so" you shrugged. "And I like helping people and he needs help with all this. Wouldn't want him not scoring goals" you grinned. "You're a fan, that's amazing. And I don't feel weird" he said. "Most of the girls are like omg Gavi, let's take a picture, they try to kiss me and so on. I don't like it and neither Fermin likes it" he said when you have him a confused look. "I wouldn't like it either" you said. "Thanks for the ride. Goodnight" you said as you arrived in front of your building. "No problem. And maybe we'll meet again. Maybe at a game" he said. "That would be nice. Bye" you smiled, waving at him.

Gavi's text startled Fermin as he was stalking your Instagram. Of course Fermin knew you were one to keep, but he wasn't sure you two were on the same page. You were a neat smart girl who knew what she wanted and he was a football player, travelling a lot. He remembered hearing you talk with a girl about what you want in a future relationship: I want stability. He could be that, but travelling a lot wouldn't be it. You needed someone who was there with you, not away playing football. With this sad thought, he went to sleep, knowing he had to forget that stupid crush.

"I'm glad you think I look good" he smirked. "Anyway, I think we should get Italian" you said, changing the subject. "Okay, I know the best restaurant in town" he said.
After you picked up the food, he kept driving. "Where are we going?" You asked whining. He didn't reply, just kept driving. "The beach? I could have taken a jacket" you groaned. "Told y'a" Fermin shrugged. "You didn't tell me anything. You boys with your stupid secret dates" you groaned again. "And where are you going?" You asked as he climbed out of the car and went to open the trunk. "Help me with these?" He asked, holding some blankets. "On the ground? It's cold" you said. "In the car, love".
"Never would have thought that you are a secret romantic" you teased him as you got comfy between the blankets. "Never knew I was one myself. I guess love makes you discover parts of yourself" he said. "Yeah I guess" you shrugged.
"So, what are we doing now?" You asked after you finished eating. "Get to know each other". "Don't tell me it's that stupid questions game" you groaned. "Well, yeah. But, to be honest, I'm more interested in finding out what you like to do outside university. There I know what you like" he said and you playfully punched his arm. "I like reading" you shrugged. "That's university related. Something else?" He asked.
"I like football"
"Oh yeah. You have to tell me about that" he said. "Dunno, I just like it"
"Who are your favourites players? Beside me, of course"
"Messi, Mbappé, Gavi. And you're not my favourite" you teased him. "Gavi is your favourite and I'm not?" He asked, pulling you into his lap, straddling him. "Why? Are you jealous?" You asked. "Yes". His answer took you by surprise that you didn't have time to register what was happening: he was kissing you passionately. You felt his hands creeping under your blouse, tracing random patterns on your skin. Yours were on his chest and in his hair, threading through his blonde locks. If you felt cold before, now you were feeling hot, making out with Fermin at the beach. "Fermin" you whispered, when he pulled away for air. "Someone can see us". "Fuck" he groaned, looking behind you at a group of fans. "How the fuck do they find me?" He asked more to himself. "Just stay here until I go sign their stuff, then we go home" he said. "Okay?" You nodded as he pecked to lips again.

Fermin hurried to get everything signed because he didn't want people to know about his girlfriend. Yet. He didn't want to scary you away with the crazy fans that were following his every move. "Muchas gracias". "De Nada" Fermin replied, running back to you.
He found you wrapped in a blanket, waiting for him. "I'm cold" you pouted. "Here. Take my hoodie" he said, taking it off. "Then you're going to freeze". "I'm good. Take it" he insisted. Fermin couldn't help, but stared at you dressed in his obviously too big hoodie. "I look like shit" you said. "It's cute" Fermin blushed. He wanted to see you wearing his clothes more often. "So... where are we going now?" You asked. "I can drop you off or... we can go to mine. Have a movie night" he said, being nervous again. "A second date, Fermin?" You smirked. "If that's okay with you" he said. "But don't you have training tomorrow?". "Only in the afternoon. You can spend the night there if you want" he said. "If that's okay with you. I don't want to intrude" you said, thinking about what it would mean to go his place. "I'd like to have you around" Fermin replied. "Okay, then we can stop to mine to get some of my things?" You asked and he nodded.
"You're seriously taking your books?" He laughed. "Yeah. I still have to get that assignment done" you said, packing a small rucksack with some clothes and books. "Okay, Miss Nerdy" he smirked.
"Nerdy is sexy"
"I never said it wasn't" he shrugged, slapping your ass.
"Fermin!"

"Perv" you rolled your eyes. Obviously, you like the attention you were getting from him. Since your first kiss, he became more touchy, the hugs lasted longer, he liked to touch your bare skin. When you were sick" you said. "Oh yeah, yeah, I didn't forget" he lied, moving to the couch. "What do we watch?" You asked. "Whatever you want" he shrugged. "A Disney movie?" You asked. "I've never seen Aladdin" he said. "The movie with Will Smith" he added, but your face said it all. "What?? That's my favourite movie ever! We're watching it now" you said, sitting near him.
"Aladdin is so beautiful" you said dreamily. "Really? He looks like a douche bag" Fermin said. You lifted your head from his chest and narrowed his eyes at him. "You're just jealous". "No, I'm not" he argued. "Yeah, you're also jealous on Gavi" you smirked. "I didn't say that". "Yea, you did. Right before we kissed" you said. "Then we have to kiss again so I can remember" he smirked, pulling your head closer. "I think you just love kissing me" you laughed before he pressed his lips to yours. And it happened like at the date, he pulled you into his lap, still kissing you passionately, his hands under your blouse and yours in his hair. Involuntarily, you rocked your hips against him, making him groan. "Fuck... I'm sorry" you said, pulling away. "You didn't do anything bad" he assured you. "Fermin wait" you said, looking down. Big mistake. "We don't have to do it" he said, lifting your chin up. "I w-want to, but I'll suck at it" you said, hiding your face into his neck. "Oh, love, I promise I'll be gentle" he said, rubbing your back. "I know you'll be. The problem is me" you mumbled. "Mi amor, you're perfect" he whispered. "You don't know that. I don't know that. Gonna make a fool of myself and you'll break up with me" you mumbled, almost on the verge of crying. "Love, you're the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm willing to wait for you, we'll do it when you're ready" he said. "There's no rush. Just when you're ready" he whispered again against your lips. "You're too good for me" you said. "I think we're both tired after today. Do you have like a sleep routine?" He asked, changing the subject for which you were grateful. "Hmm not really. Just a bit of skincare". "Then let's head to the bathroom".
"Is it okay if we sleep in the same bed? I can go in the guests bedroom" Fermin asked once you were ready and dressed in your pjs. "The one sleeping there should be me" you chuckled. "That's not a very boyfriendish thing to do". "Yeah, it's alright. As long as we keep a distance" you said. "We can build a pillow wall" he suggested. "If you want to. I'm too tired to even lift a finger" you shrugged, climbing in bed already. "Okay, no wall then" he said, climbing in bed too. "Goodnight kiss?" He asked. You playfully rolled your eyes, but pecked his lips softly. "I could get used to this" he grinned as you laid on your back. "Sweet dreams, love" he said to which you only hummed, already exhausted after the most perfect day with two dates.

A/N: a little bit of angst makes the story even more interesting 🫢
Warnings: angst, mentions of smut, Fermin being an asshole sorry 🥺
"So I thought we could use these books" you said. "Did you take the whole library?" He asked laughing. "That wouldn't have been fair for the others" you said. "And I already browsed trough them, so we just have to read some chapters" you explained. "We should start then" he said, sitting on the couch and you at the kitchen island. Two hours passed and you decided to order some take out and then continue with typing your essay. After gaining more energy, you went back to highlighting paragraphs while Fermin was doing the same. You couldn't help, but your mind wondered to that wet dream a few nights ago, when he pulled you into his lap and kissed you passionately. Those plump lips of his moulding with yours. His tongue fighting yours for dominance. His hands that were either on your back or your ass, squeezing you against him.
"Y/N"
Yours were pulling his hair as you wanted to feel more of him. "Fuck" you moaned when you pulled away for air, his lips instantly going to your neck.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Fermin asked, waving his hand in front of you. "Y-yeah" you blushed, being caught red-handed. You just had a fantasy about the guy you were in the room with. "I said we should include facts and examples" he said. "Okay, I agree" you said, trying to push away any thirst thoughts of him when you had to focus on the project.
— the next day —
"We just have to do the ppt and it's done" you said, finishing the last corrections to the essay. Then you went on your laptop to pick a theme for the PowerPoint, but all of them were shit. "So I thought we could use this if you like it" you said. "Or maybe this one?". "Whatever you want" he said kind of harshly. He realised his tone was cold and somehow annoyed when you didn't reply and just closed yourself from him. When he said he wanted to get rid of the crush, he didn't mean to be mean towards you. "Y/N, I'm sorry—". "I think we're both tired. We should stop here. I'll do the ppt" you said, packing your things. "I can do it —". "No, it's okay. See you tomorrow when we have to present" you said, quickly walking out of his house. Maybe you really were annoying when it came to projects.
— in class —
Everyone could sense something was wrong with the two of you. You even declined the coffee that was already waiting for you on the desk, probably from Fermin. "You nervous?" Fermin asked breaking the ice, but you were reading your notes on the project. "It will be alright I hope" he continued. The professor entered the room, so you could just ignore his presence while your colleagues presented their work. "So, today we are going to start with Mr. Lopez and Miss Y/L/N" he said and your face fell. Why were you the ones starting? "Because Mr. Lopez has training in an hour" he said as if reading your mind. Of course, the football princess is busy. You stood up and Fermin after you, going to the front of the class with your laptop. "It will be okay" Fermin whispered.
The presentation was flawless, except some parts where Fermin forgot what to say, but you saved his ass. The professor told you you'll find the grades later today and gave the class a short break. "That went amazing" Fermin said, following you out of the classroom. "Yeah sure" you mumbled. "You're not staying for the rest of the class?" Fermin asked, knowing you rarely missed any. "Mind your own fucking business" you said, going to the coffee shop to buy a coffee. "I bought you a coffee earlier—". "Why are you following me around, Fermin? Don't you have training?" You asked. "What's up with you?" He asked annoyed. "How dare you! You're being an asshole, not even telling me we have to present first" you said, taking your cup of coffee. "It doesn't matter anyway" he shrugged. "Maybe not for you, but for me yes. That's why we're a team, we tell each other things like that. But obviously, you thought I was a perfectionist and didn't even care to tell me about this tiny detail" you said, storming out of the coffee shop. "Well I'm sorry, but it doesn't matter—". "Maybe for you because guess what? You already have your future, but I don't. Everything I do for Uni counts. And I don't want a stupid spoiled footballer to ruin it" you snapped. "Alright. I don't even need your help anymore. You're a perfectionist and obsessed with your grades. All you do in study all day. Go have some fun" he said angrily. "Sorry for not blowing smoke up your ass, fucking idiot" you spat, turning the opposite direction and walking away from him.

When you got home, you threw yourself on the bed and thought about how you had the impression Fermin had a good opinion on you, unlike the rest of your colleagues who thought you were introverted and studied all day. You felt betrayed and used. Maybe he just wanted to do this project with you because he knew you would do the job in order to get a good grade. How stupid you were to believe he actually saw you differently.

"Joder, tio! What's up with you?" Gavi asked as he nutmegged Fermin for the third time today. "Did something happen today with that project?". "Yeah, I fucked up" Fermin replied. "Why? You didn't get a good grade?" Gavi asked. "No, we did. I fucked up with Y/N. Told each other some things" and Fermin told Gavi everything that happened earlier. "Joder! I told you she's a keeper" Gavi said. He was mad at his best friend. "I know, I just... don't know. I actually like that she studies a lot and doesn't to parties. And these weeks I found the other side of her, because when we were together, she wasn't that introverted. I liked her like that" he explained. "Joder! You're in love with her" Gavi said. "I'm not" Fermin argued. "Even if you were, I don't think she wants to see you ever again" he said. "Thanks Gavi. Really makes me feel less shit now" Fermin rolled his eyes. "What should I do?". "Let her cool down. And maybe then explain everything to her" Gavi suggested. "Explain what?". "That you like her, idiot" Gavi said, slapping his head. "And don't tell me you don't. She came to take care of you when you were sick. She has feelings for you too" Gavi said. "Since when are you Dr. Love?" Fermin teased. "Since when my best mate is completely blind and stupid" Gavi said.

"What?" Gavi asked. "Y/N. She's here" he said, his eyes following you around the club. "Don't do something stupid" Gavi warned. "I'm not" Fermin said, but he was determined to talk to you one way or another.

You were currently at the bar, ordering a new drink when a slimy guy appeared next to you. "Hello beautiful" he slurred. "Don't ignore me sweetheart, I can make you feel really good" he said, his arm touching yours. "Get the fuck away from her" you turned around, surprised to see Fermin dressed in a plain black t-shirt and white pants. He was looking hotter than ever. "I said get away from her" Fermin said, pushing the guy away. "Alright man. If you're the desperate for some pussy" he groaned, moving on to the next girl at the bar.
"I don't need you" you said when Fermin turned to look at you. "You're wearing that dress expecting guys to not try to have their way with you" Fermin spat. "I don't need your protection, López" you said. "And I definitely don't want to argue with you right now" you added, pushing past him into the mass of people. "Fuck what's this girl doing to me?" Fermin asked himself, before catching your hand and pulling you back against. Your back against his chest, his hand on your hip. "Let me go" you hissed. "Can't. Half these guys want to fuck you" he said, wrapping an arm protectively around you. "Are you one of those?" you sighed, already fed up with the situation. "I'd rather take you on a date, sweetheart" he whispered into your ear. He wasn't going to let you go soon, so you tried to tease him. You started moving your hips on his crotch to the rhythm. "What are you doing?" He hissed, growing hard underneath you. "Dancing" you simply replied. He groaned, his breath hitting your neck. "Stop" he whispered pleadingly, but you continued to move your hips. "Naughty little—" he smirked, but was interrupted by one of his mates. "Hey Fermin, we're calling it a night. Coming?" You took the opportunity to slip away from his arms to go to the bathroom. Maybe he would just leave the club.
When you emerged from the bathroom, he was there. Waiting for you like a gentleman, trying not yo let his eyes wonder on your body. It didn't feel right to do that. "I wish you left" you said. "I wish you didn't say that" he chuckled sadly. "Listen Fermin—". "I'm sorry okay? I'm so fucking sorry. I shouldn't have said those things and I definitely don't mean them" he said. You shrieked, Fermin turning around just in time to block the guy that was hitting on you earlier from hitting him. "The fuck is your problem?" Fermin asked, dodging him away. "If I'm not getting her pussy, no one will" the guy slurred, attempting to punch Fermin again, but he was held by some other guys. "Fermin, let's just go" you whispered, pulling him away from the altercation. His heart broke hearing you sound almost defeated, so he lead you to his car.
"You okay?" He asked when you were in his car. "Just wanna go home" you mumbled, not daring to look at him. He nodded, not asking any more questions. You thought about how he acted in the club, he was protective, yes, but he did it because he cared about you. And you cared about him too. He parked in front of your building, accompanying you to the front door of your flat. "Thank you for tonight" you said quietly. "Y/N—". "I don't want to be alone tonight" you said, hugging him. "I don't know if it's alright for me to stay" he said truthfully. "It is. I'm sorry that we argued, I just—". "No, it's my fault. I like that you're introverted, it's not a bad thing, I like that you are a perfectionist, that may be a bad thing sometimes though, I like everything about you" he said, lifting your chin up so you could meet his eyes. "I like you, Y/N. Like a lot" he chuckled. "But I don't know if I'm good for you" he whispered, his eyes almost looking teary. "I'm sorry too. I didn't mean all that. I appreciate you for what you did in football and you're not spoiled, actually you're really humble. And I like you too" you said. "And you're good for me, Fermin. I don't know if I am good for you" you whispered. "Of course you are" he smiled kindly, hugging you. "We should change into something more comfortable, what do you say?" He asked. "I agree. These heels are killing me" you whined and he chuckled.
"I can sleep on the couch" he suggested, after you changed into a hoodie and leggings and craved some friend chicken, so Fermin ordered it for you. "Do you have training in the morning?" You asked. "Yeah. I have to go home, take my things" he said, stealing a chip from you. "Hey! Didn't all players have strict diets?" You asked. "I'll run two more laps for that, but it was worth it" Fermin shrugged. Then both of your phone pinged with a text from... "Gavi? What does he want?" Fermin asked. "And how does he have your number?". "We exchanged them when he took me home. Said he wants to sign my t-shirt asap" you chuckled. "What's yours saying?" You asked. "Don't fuck it up, bro 😡😤🔫"
"Mine says don't forgive him that easily 😇" you read. "I should take that advice though" you said teasingly. "Oh so now it's you two against me? Perfect" he chuckled.
"Are you sure you have everything? I can bring an extra pillow" you said. "It's fine, Y/N. We live in Barcelona, is warm enough" Fermin said. "Okay... but if you're cold, just wake me up" you said, hugging him. You weren't sure if after the confession thing, you were still friends or something else. So you just kept hugging him, hopeful that it wasn't too weird. On the other hand, Fermin was thinking the same. What were the two of you now? Friends? Lovers? But he didn't want to ask that question now. It's been a long night and you both needed sleep. "Goodnight" you said, pulling away from the hug. "Goodnight. I'll leave early in the morning" he said, getting under the covers as you made your way to your bedroom.

"So... did she forgive you?" Gavi asked. "Who's she?" Lamine asked. "Fermin's girlfriend" Gavi smirked. "Ooooo". "Yeah she did" Fermin narrowed his eyes at the Sevillan. "That means we'll meet her at the next game?" Lamine asked. "I already met her. She's pretty" Gavi teased his best friend. "I have to meet her to sign her t-shirt. Maybe she'll wear it at the next game" he grinned. Fermin felt something close to jealousy, but he brushed it off, focusing on training.

"Hey" Fermin said when you climbed into his car. He texted you earlier if he could pick you up from University. "Hey. Training done?" You asked. "Yeah. Uni done?" He smirked. "No. I have to write a 10 page essay in 4 days" you pouted and Fermin swore he could've kiss you in that moment. "You're smart, I don't worry about it" he said, driving to your place. Unlike the night at the club, you took your time to admire the way he was driving, which was very hot, of course.
"Well thank you, Fermin" you said. "Wait, I actually have something for you" he said, picking up a bag after he opened the door for you. "Okay... you can give it to me" you said. "I'd rather give it to you when we're alone" he said, already on his way to your apartment. "Not like that" he said when he saw you scared and confused face. "So, what do you have for me, Mr. Mysterious?" You asked after taking your shoes off. "This. Look inside" he said, giving you the bag with the Barça logo.
"Tickets? For tomorrow's game? Are you serious?" You asked, jumping up and down and hugging him. "Yeah. In the family box" he said. "And you have a little something to wear too" he said. "Your t-shirt?" You smirked. "I wanted to wear Gavi's. Maybe get him to sign it" you said teasingly. "Not funny" he said, wrapping an arm around your waist. "Thank you, Fermin. I'll be there" you said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. He immediately turned red, trying to hide it from you, which made you giggle. "I hope you score" you whispered. "I hope I score for you" he said, pulling away from the hug. "I guess you can't stay over. You gotta be fresh tomorrow" you said, picking at your nails. "Yeah... but I'll see you tomorrow okay? Text me when you're there, maybe we can see each other before the game" he said. "Meet all the boys" he said quietly. "So you told them" you stated. "I had no choice. They started bombarding me with questions and—". "It's okay. I'm okay with it. Can't wait to meet them" you said, reassuring him. "Should I bring Gavi's t-shirt? Maybe he can sign it" you teased and he gave you a look saying Are you serious right now?. "Okay, I won't. Pinkie promise" you said and locked your pinkie with his. "I better go. Goodnight, Y/N" he said, hugging you one last time. "Night Fermin. Sleep well" you smiled. With you. I would sleep well with you in my arms, Fermin wanted to say, but he thought better of it. He didn't even know what status you two had right now. Guess he'll find out tomorrow.

"Shit, she's here" Fermin said, feeling more nervous because you were here. It should've been the other way around.
"Who's here?" Half the boys asked. "Fermin's girlfriend" Gavi grinned.

"So... who wants to come with me and meet her?" Fermin asked. "Me duh" Gavi said. "You already did, cabron" Lamine said. "So? I want to say hi to my friend" Gavi replied. "Friend? You're friends?" Fermin asked incredulously. "Yeah cabron. Now let's go" Gavi said.
"So this is Lamine, Pedri, Alejandro and Gavi, your friend" Fermin made the introductions. "Nice to meet you" you smiled kindly. "I didn't know Fermin's got a girlfriend. I was so shocked" Ale said. "But in a good way" Pedri butted in. After you exchanged some info on the game, Fermin "stole" you from the group. "Hey. I hope you're not nervous because I'm here" you said when you noticed him playing with his fingers. "No, I'm not, just... I was nervous for the boys to meet you" he said. "They're so nice, don't worry about it" you said, taking his hand in yours. "I'm still waiting for that goal" you tried to cheer him up, make him think of the game. "Yeah, I promised, didn't I?" He said. "I know, I know" you said, hugging him. "Come on, Fermin, we gotta go" Gavi said. "Good luck" you whispered, kissing his cheek.
You made your way to the family boxes, after asking some security guards about the way there, and you were relieved that there weren't many families. "Hi! You must be Fermin's girlfriend" a girl seated with her boyfriend said. "Yes erm..." you replied, you didn't really establish this boyfriend-girlfriend thing yet. "I'm Aurora, Gavi's sister and this is my boyfriend, Javi. You can sit with us" she said. "Nice to meet you" you said, sitting near her. The players started to come out on the pitch, your eyes following a certain number 32. "So, how long have you been with Fermin?" Aurora jumped straight in. "I... uhh... we..." you shuttered. "Leave the poor girl alone. It's their business" Javi said, saving you. "Okay I was just curious" Aurora shrugged. "Because Gavi told me Fermin got jealous when he mentioned signing a t-shirt for you" Aurora explained. "He what?" You asked, blinking twice. "You heard me". "Fermin? Jealous? No way. We're not even—" you didn't get to finish because the whole stadium erupted in cheers. Gavi had scored a goal. "Yeah that's my bro" Aurora said grinning. Then Gavi again being an angry bird and Fermin keeping him away from trouble.
"Oh my God!! Fermin scored" you jumped straight up when you saw the goal. "He's dedicating it to you" Aurora said, jabbing you. "Yeah he is" you said, as he pointed to the family boxes and made a heart with his fingers. What did you do to deserve him?
You waited anxiously for the boys to come off the pitch, after they won 3-0. You wanted to congratulate him in your own way. "Told y'a" you heard them talking in the tunnel. "Oh Y/N..." Gavi smirked. "Hey... Congrats for the goal" you said, hugging him. "Thanks. But there's somebody else you need to congratulate" he smirked, pulling away from the hug as Fermin came from around the corner. You didn't hesitate to run straight to him, engulfing him in a big hug. "Congrats" you said and he thanked you. After pulling away a bit to get a better look of him — rosy cheeks, sweaty hair — you tiptoed and pressed your lips to his. You took him by surprise because he froze for a few seconds. You panicked, pulling away, and a millions thoughts ran though your head. Maybe you overstepped with the kiss. But all of these vanished when he pulled you back, reconnecting your lips as he kissed you with passion. His lips were soft just like you imagined, perfectly fitting with yours and his hair, in which you tangled your fingers, was soft and silky. "Get a room" someone said, probably Gavi. "Y/N..." he whispered as he pulled away, lips still touching. "Congrats for the goal" you said smiling. "Fuck the goal. This is even better" he said, picking you up. You wrapped your legs around his waist. "So... this means you're my girlfriend?" He asked. "Maybe..." you teased him, but pressing your lips to his again. You couldn't get enough of him. He put your down because he had to (Xavi was calling him for 2 minutes already), not because he wanted to, but promised he will give you a ride home.
You again waited for him, already thinking if he would take you home or to his place, and not for doing things. You weren't there yet. "I hope you didn't wait that much" Fermin said, taking your hand in his as you started walking to his car. "Hope you don't mind driving Gavi home" he said. "No, but doesn't he have a driving license?" You asked. "He does but he asked me to drive him today" Fermin smirked. You really were up to date with the Barça players. "Okay, it's not a problem" you said, climbing in the back.
"So, Y/N, did you enjoy the game? I hope you'll come more" Gavi asked as Fermin started the engine. "Yeah, it was amazing" you replied. "And if Fermin wants me here, I'm happy to attend every home game" you added, catching Fermin's eyes in the rear view mirror. He had a strange spark in his eyes and you preferred to look away, not in a good way. "Well, I hope you celebrate tonight" Gavi smirked. "Bye guys" he said. "Bye. See you tomorrow" Fermin replied.
"You driving me home?" You asked. "Yeah why?" Fermin asked confused. "I just remembered I have to do something for tomorrow's course". "At this hour?" He asked. "Yeah duh. I literally forgot about it" you chuckled nervously. Fermin shrugged, not understanding how your mood changed that fast.
"Did something happen?" He asked as he accompanied you to your flat. "No, it was an amazing night. Thank you, Fermin" you smiled. "Something happened, but I won't force you to tell me. I'll see you tomorrow in class" he said, hugging you. He felt kissing wasn't the best when something was up with you. "Goodnight, Fermin" you said. "Night, love".
