I think a lot of my old fanfic is hit or miss but if there's one fanfic topic I focused on that I still get flattering comments about it's my FFIX genome family fics. I had someone this year comment on them and say how much they appreciate that I wrote these because no one else focuses on the whole family dynamic (Kuja, Zidane, and Mikoto). Like those fics are seven years old! I think the writing in those is very amateurish in places but consistently those are the fics that people like the most. It's nice that they're still relevant to people, honestly never saw that coming tbh

#i don't read a lot of fanfic tbh but #there is one old delita/ovelia fic i read in high school #that I'm pretty sure predates the wotl translation #and i still go back to it to this day. This is the one most likely to see actual realization (though I kind of want to do all three now. Am I truly that dork, though? The answer is yes, yes I am).

In this AU, I may be forced to keep some characters from FFIX, though I realize that might be strange. In particular, I can't decide who should be Queen Brahne, Vivi, and Kuja... Maybe I'll take some characters from a different comic/game?

FFX-2 AU and FFVIII won't have mature content for sure, but the jokes and dialogue going on in my head for mature content in this is too strong. However, whatever mature content there is in this will only be indicated to keep some modicum of innocence (beyond some heavy kissing).
