there are fantasies i have that skate closer to the kind of cnc that i don't interact with on here, but they're heavily informed from trauma/are mostly maladaptive coping mechanisms, and i know from experience that there's not really a safe way for me to engage with them IRL. i have an explosively bad reaction to actually playing with that sort of thing with another person (and, as we've seen on this blog, even to seeing other people playing in that space). basically, that stuff only feels even kind of safe for me if it's solely happening in my head and has 0 connection to the real world or my partners
