Not sure if your requests are open but I just read ‘baecation’ and need like a fic where the reader goes on tour with him. And the whole dynamic with the reader and the team. Maybe the reader is a bit shy at first because her Spanish isn’t good but the boys are lovely to her and help her and she ends up getting along with them and pedri is there just like 😍😍

The Tour

Summary: A glimpse of the little moment you share with your boyfriend while on Tour.

First Stop: LA

"I want a picture with the big Hollywood thing." Katrine says, smiling while you take some pictures of her.

Mikky, Katrine, and you arrived at Los Angeles a day before the team did. That was for more commodity for you.

"I want another coffee, to be honest." You laugh, the jet lag hitting you harder than expected. "Is it okay to break the diet while on vacation?"

"I break it all the time." Mikky says, you narrow your eyes, looking funny at her. "Oh don't give me that look."

"You have an excuse to break it. You're eating for two." Katrine says, taking her phone from your hands to check the pictures.

You were answering your messages, Pedro updating you about where they're, based on the map from the plane.

"Don't you think, Y/n?" Mikky asks you. You block the phone and pay attention to her. "Did you hear me?" She asks sweetly.

"No, sorry." You say, laughing lightly. "I was texting Pedro." You smile.

"Oh, sweet, young love." Katrine laughed. "I remember those times."

"What I was asking." Mikky says, grabbing your attention again. "Frenkie, Andreas, Katrine, and I are renting a house here, and at the other locations. We wanted to ask if you and Pedro wanted to stay with us."

You wanted to say yes, loving the four of them, always having fun times together. But Pedro already rented a nice space for you to stay together.

"I want to say yes, but Pedro booked a place for us to stay." You say with a pout. "We can meet for some activities."

After the quick coffee break you had, you went to check some stores, passing time till the boys landed.

When the time finally came and the boys landed and were at the hotel, you knew they got there as a cover-up, Xavi, and the team knew they'll stay with their family.

"Hola, guapa." Pedro says, lifting you up while hugging you. "I missed you." He thighs his grip on your body.

"Pepi, we saw each other like twenty-five hours ago." You laugh, kissing his neck. Hands on his hair, messing his hair.

"Jolin, se despidieron ayer y estan acuando como si hubiera pasado una vida" (Fuck, you said goodbye to each other yesterday and now you're acting like it's been a life time.) Pablo laughed, making you and Pedro laugh too. "Ven acá, guapa." (Come here) He says, opening his arms for you to hug him.

You hug him, not long after Ferran was saying hi to you. "Es que te tenemos que hablar en inglés? Joder que yo soy pésimo." (Do we have to speak with you in english? Fuck, I suck at that.)

"No, yo puedo hablar español." (No, I can speak spanish.) You laugh nervous. Your Spanish isn't the best, so you knew it was going to be a shit show if they decided to speak only Spanish.

"Entonces, cuentame." (So, tell me) Ferran says, you look over at Pedro, he's smiling, loving how his friends are messing with you. "Cómo fue el vuelo hasta acá?" (How was the flight?) He asks you.

You smiled and stared at him for a good five seconds. You open your mouth, but your mind isn't fully working. "Era. Umm. Bueno, muy relajante, si." You smile proud. (😀)

Gavi and Ferran looked at each other. You wanted to disappear because you knew that was so bad. "That's amazing. Relaxing, yes, good, yes. Amazing." Ferran says.

You happily high-five them, you knew you weren't the best but they not laughing made a difference.

"Pepi, I did it." You hug him happy. He hugs you back, kissing the top of your head. "Let's go, adiós chicos." You wave them goodbye.

You both go down the basement where the car was waiting for you. When you arrive at the house, Pedri loves the view, the golden sunset looking beautiful, making the whole place look like out of a movie.

"I know you can't eat junk food, but." You say walking to the oven, you FaceTime Rosy, asking her to help you on each step of the way, making her famous croquettes for him. "I try my best, not sure if it's good." You laugh.

"No way." He hurries next to you, trying one. "Fuck." He says, eyes rolling back. He's been resistant in order to keep his diet, missing the glorious food of his mom. "This is amazing."

You pose your hands on his shoulders, massaging the stress of the flight. "You want to know what else I did?" You whisper in his ear.

He humms at the feeling on his shoulders, relaxing him. "Hmh?" He mumbs.

"I prepared a bath for us, wanna go relax a little?" You kiss his neck, hugging him.

He turns around, kissing you, thankful for all you've done for him. "Let's go." He says smiling.

Second stop: Dallas

"Hay un dicho, dicen que si te pones el sombrero te montas al vaquero." (there's a say, if you wear the hat you get to ride the cowboy) Pedri joked, placing the cowboy hat on you. "And you're wearing it."

"What does montar mean? And what does sombrero mean?" You ask, confused. He wanted to burst out laughing, finding you adorable. "Don't make that face. Tell me." You pout.

"I meant that there's a say, if you wear the hat, you ride the cowboy." He winks at you. You smile, blushing a little now that you understand why he placed the hat on you.

"I will, but this cowboy has to wait till we're home." You kiss him. "Now let's go pick our horse." You grabbed his hand, hurried to get to where the horses are.

Pedro took you to this horse riding place, knowing that you wanted to do that.

Once you picked your horse, Pedro decided that you ride alone, wanting for you to have the whole experience. But also riding other horse to go with you.

"I wanna sing Hannah Montana." You say, moving your shoulders at the rhythm of the song playing in your head. "You're always find a way back home" you sing loudly.

Pedro took pictures of you. The love gaze he has over you is one that no one can deny. "I don't know any Hannah songs." He confess.

"Imma show you how to dance the Hannah dance from the movie." You told him. The scene already playing in your head.

After the horse riding experience, you both got back to the house. Quickly showering and changing for the outing you had with the team.

"Do you like this outfit?" You're standing in front of the mirror, already questioning if the two piece set was ideal for the night.

You pose for him. If you can take a picture and compare his face to the scene of the movie, the mask, his heart eyes are bigger.

"You look, preciosa." He poses his hands on your hip, "fuck, you look amazing baby." He kiss you tummy, making you blush.

"I was thinking that I was a little but short." You say, messing with his hair. "Don't you think?"

"You can wear whatever you want. If someone says something, I can throw some punches." He jokes, kissing your arms and caressing you hips.

"I love you, mi amor." You kiss the top of his head. You sit on his lap, posing your hands on his cheeks. "I'm so in love with you, Pedro."

You pull him towards you, kissing him. His hands on your hips go down to your ass, squishing it. Making you moan.

"Stop," you say, pulling away, "we have to meet your friends." You kiss him back again after saying that.

"What about you riding the cowboy?" He asks, you want to say he ment that joking, but he wasn't. You knew that if you keep kissing, you both will end up between the sheets and not at the club with the rest. "Please." He begged you.

You push him back to the bed. "I guess they won't miss us for a few minutes." You start to unbutton his shirt. "Don't you think?" You say kissing his neck. Earning a moan as an answer.

Last Stop: Las Vegas

"I want to start pole dance," you joke, hand in hand with your boyfriend. "Will you let me pole dance you?" You ask him.

His face was a poem, he's confused, about to laugh, but wanted to remind serious. "I take all the dancing you want me to." He jokes back.

You smile, squishing his hand a little harder. You're at the mall at Las Vegas, searching for something Fer ask you to get for him.

"Did you know that, what happen in Vegas stay in Vegas? You ask him, joking again. "I think we need to do something crazy and have an inside joke."

"So when people ask us, we tell them ~Lo que pasa en las Vegas se queda en las Vegas~?" He joke back at you. "That actually would be cool."

"We all should try this strippers show, and do body shots on each other and then skinny dip in the pool." Ansu interrupts your conversation.

All the boys and you turn your attention to him, he was nodding excited, thinking his idea was the one of a century.

"Or." Mikky says, dragging the attention away from Ansu. "We can go bowling." She smiled.

Everyone agree with her, Ansu on the other side was pouting, mad that his Vegas plan was ruined by some bowling.

"No te enojes." (Don't be mad) You say pinching his cheek. "We can do something crazy after bowling, not that crazy like going to a strip club, but crazy." You shake him by the shoulders.

"Deal." He smiles, going to the other boys to plan something else.

The boys and you create this little friendship were they take care of you, and you take care of them. They liked you and always try to make you the most comfortable.

"I like this for your mom." You say, showing him beautiful ornaments that match her style. "I think the blue one, she likes blue." You think outloud.

"I like blue." He says, kissing you cheek. "But I was thinking this over here." He points at other thing. "Maybe I should get both."

You went to the other side of the store, looking at some pink outfits. You told Pedro that before leaving, you wanted to go to the movies to see Barbie. He brushed it off, so you planned on going with Mikky while he was at training.

"That pink would look so good on you." He says, making you turn back to face him. "So you think it fit me?"

"I think every color is your color." You grab the pink shirt and put it against him to see the contrast. "But this pink is definitely your color." You kiss him.

"Then help me pick one." He grabs your hand, dragging you to the male section of the store. You were confused, knowing he wasn't going to use it more than once.

"Pedro, you're not going to get something you'll only use once." You laugh, about to go back to the women section.

"But I want to match you," he pouts, you laugh at how adorable he looks doing that. "What, you don't want to match with me? How are we supposed to see Barbie if we don't go matching?"

"What?"

"How are we supposed to see Barbie if we don't match?" He repeats.

"We?" You ask, confused. "Are we going to see Barbie?" You smile a little.

"Yes, mi amor." He nods, smiling. "I got us tickets, so after bowling tonight, we're going to do some Barbie with Mikky and Frenkie."

You hug him, loving how he's always paying attention to you and spoiling you. "Eres mi favorito." You say, hugging him.

"I better be." He jokes, hugging you back, making you laugh.

"The beach!!" you yelled while running to the water, dropping all your stuff in the process

"Y/n calm down!" Robert said behind you while putting his beach towel and stuff next to his wife Anna who just watched you with an amused face

"Last one to get in the water has to get us all ice cream!" Pablo yelled at Pedri, Ousmane and Frenkie who started running, being way too lazy to go get ice cream for the team and their wags

"Fuck!" Frenkie exclamed when he saw that he was the last

"Vanilla for me and Y/n" thank you" the youngest one said mocking his friend

"How cute, loverboy wants to make sure su novia gets her ice cream!" Raphinha laughed at him while the they all awwed (I have speaking U.K/U.S very good) causing him to blush when you didn't hear anything, too busy enjoying the water

"Y/n hop on my shoulders we need to make them fall!" Jules patted his shoulders while bending over so you can get there

"We will destroy you" you said to Ferran and Pedri who were patiently waiting for you to get ready

"Go Y/n ! Revenge!" Sira, Ferran's girlfriend encouraged next to you, splashing some salty water to her boyfriend

"Traitor!" he said dramatically shocked

"Shut up drama queen" Jules laughed before approaching the two boys

The fight started, Pedri tried to sink you but it didn't happen and you tried to sink him but it didn't happen either

"Go Y/n we believe in you!" Pablo clapped his hands making you smile

"Who's we? Pedri sink that girl faster!" Ousmane said while splashing us with water

"Ousmane ta gueule arrête de tricher!" you yelled while holding Pedri to prevent you from falling

"De fou concentre toi sur le daron qui va te fracasser le crâne avec un ballon" Jules said making the other french boy turn around only to be met by Robert who threw a beach ball at him

After a while, you finally managed to give Pedri the push that made him fall

"YES!" you lifted your arms up, celebrating your victory with your teammate

"Y/n come here you need to put on sunscreen!" Mikky, Frenkie's girlfriend, shouted from the sand

You went to Mikky's towel and didn't expect all the girls staring at you with smirks on their face

"What?" you asked confused

"Y/n have you considered dating a spanish boy?" Taia, Raphinha's girlfriend, asked you from her seat

"Not particularly why?" they all chuckled at your dumbness

"Well what if a handsome spanish guy who plays with barca as number 6 and 30 asked you out, would you accept?" Mikky asked without stuttering once while she applied sunscreen on your back

"Oh don't even start, we're just best friends" you explained, your face becoming more and more red

"Yeah sure and I'm a Madrid fan" Anna said

"Come on Y/n we all know you like him and he probably likes you too"

"I don't know, I don't want to ruin our friendship" you looked at the boys who were playing volleyball in the water and slightly smiled when your eyes found the middlefielder who, as always, was raging over random things

"Yeah but if you don't try to make a move, you'll have to watch him go with other girls" Mikky said softly while tying your hair in a pretty bun

"Okay I'll see" you got up and went back to your friends

"I give them 2 days" Anna said

"I give them one" Taia said back

"I give them tonight" Mikky finally exclaimed, watching the two friends tease each other

"What a nice day" Robert said next to his wife who was still eating her food

"These vacations are all I ever wanted" Raphinha had his arm around Taia's shoulders since they finished eating

"Yeah I'm glad we still have 2 weeks there" you finally spoke next to Pablo who was surprisingly all smiley

"Anna and I thought it would be a great idea to go to the beach club tonight, apparently they sell the best cocktails ever" Mikky asked as they all agreed to relax a bit

"Well, we'll go, see you later amigos" Raphinha and Taia were the first ones to leave quickly followed by the three other couples

"Well, here comes the single club" Jules joked

"Actually I gotta call my mom, see you later" Ousmane left, leaving Pedri, Jules, Pablo and you alone

"Amigo remember I had to show you something you know?" Jules looked at Pedri with a strong gaze while the spanish was still confused

"What do you mean you never-" he was cut off by the defender who grabbed his arm and dragged him away

"Well it's only me and you now" Pablo said next to you

"Yeah sooo" you didn't really know what to say and it was kinda embarrassing

"Let's go, the air is suffocating in there" he said while getting up and leaving with you following him on the beach

"Oh I forgot I got you something" he took a small box out from his pocket

"What no you didn't have to" you tried to refuse it but he insisted and you finally gave up and opened the small box that revealed a silver bracelet with PG hanging

"Oh my God I absolutely love it thank you" you hugged him tightly, your smile growing even more when he returned the embrace, he quickly detached from you and helped you putting the chain that was perfect on your wrist

"Look" he showed you his forearm where the same bracelet was hanging but with your initials instead

"Awww I love it you're so sweet" you smiled at each other for a little and when your face started getting closer and closer, you heard someone sneeze behind the rocks and it quickly followed by a sound as if someone slapped the person to shut them down

"oh my God Mikky we got caught" you could hear the whispers and you clearly recognized Anna's voice

You looked at Pablo who was giving you a confused stare and finally sighed

"Come on guys we know you're there" you said annoyed that they ruined your moment

When you thought there would only be Anna and Mikky, you were actually really surprised to see not only their boyfriends coming out but also the whole friendgroup and a special guest

"Ronald? What are you doing here?" you asked confused by his presence

"Hola" was all he managed to say, still deceived that they all missed the moment

"Seriously? Why can't I have some privacy for once?" you turned around and left the beach, sad that you missed the opportunity because your friends couldn't stop themselves

You knew they just tried to help you but you still didn't like it.

After posting a story on Instagram, you finally left your room to get to the famous club that Mikky talked about

You weren't angry anymore, you understood why they did that.

You quickly arrived at the stand that was in the middle of the beach, not far away from the water which was good.

You spotted your friends and went to their table where you sat between Pedri and Taia

"Hola Y/n" the spanish greeted you followed by the others who were staring at you in silence which was making you feel uncomfortable

"I'm not angry at you guys you can breathe" they sighed in relief before going back to the joyful mood

You talked with Pedri about random stuff while sipping your mojito who had way too much alcohol for a 18 year old.

You could feel a stare burning your side profile but ignored it, knowing damn well who it was.

Time passed and it was night, you didn't really know how many drinks you had, all you knew was that you were drunk as fuck.

"Pablitooo" you said before collapsing into his warm body

"You're drunk as fuck" he grabbed you by your shoulders to prevent you from falling before taking you away in a calm place near the water where you sat down

After some minutes of staring at the calm sea, you slowly sobered, getting back the control of yourself.

"Lo siento" you said not detaching your eyes from the sea

"Porque?" he was staring at you and you could feel it

"I left without explanation, leaving you alone with them and now I come back and act like nothing happened"

"Está bien, I understand" you moved closer to him and your head fell on his shoulder as he put his arm around your waist, stroking it gently

"You know I don't regret anything at all but.." he started, you lifted your head to look at him while he kept staring at the sea

"The only thing I regret is not being able to finish what we started earlier" he finally turned his head to look deep into your eyes

You didn't hesitate and closed your eyes before pressing your lips against his

He immediately kissed you back, putting his hand on your cheek, stroking it gently with his thumb

And when you were about to pull out, you heard a sound, as if someone took a picture and the white light confirmed that indeed, it was a picture taken

You both immediately separated and turned to be met by the big smile of a certain spanish player who has the number 8 on his back

"Delete this" Pablo started but his friend didn't listen and ran back to where our friends were

As he was about to chase him, you grabbed his arm and shook your head no with a smile

"Let it be, it's fine" he sat back down you decided to ignore the shoutings behind you as you went back to the old position

After 10 minutes, you decided that it was time to go back

Hand in hand, you sat on the empty sits as the group started whistling and making kissing sounds

"Pedri you bitch" you hit your friend's shoulder who was dying of laughter

"I couldn't hide it from them!"

"Yeah sure, I guess it's fine since it's only you amigos" you started but a gasp from the dutch interrupted the moment as you all turned to look at him

"Y/n, Pablo, you should check your insta" he said with an apologetic smile

You quickly went to insta along with the others and gasped when you saw Pedri's story, showing you clearly kissing in 4k

"Pedri I'm going to kill you este noche hijo de puta!" you yelled before getting up and chasing him around the beach

"Good luck amigo" Ronald said, patting the youngest's shoulder while he watched his, now girlfriend running after his bestfriend

He wasn't mad at all, he was more like amused by the show

"Damn she fast as hell, Ousmane tu devrais avoir peur pour ta carrière" Jules said while watching you finally get to Pedri

"Gros plus jamais je me moque d'elle c'est fini" the second french exclaimed, shocked by the girl's strength

You and Frenkie used to be together, until miscommunication tore your relationship apart. Now you cross paths again in Hawaii. Is it too late for a second chance?

a/n: it's been a long time since the last time I wrote about frenkie, but here i am! this is for those who wanted to read something about him<3 i love frenkie

You grabbed your bags and got on the plane, not looking back and not worrying about anything at all. Traveling to Hawaii was a dream coming true, something you had dreamed of since you were practically a child.

You had hesitated to get on that plane and travel to the island. At the moment of planning your trip, you weren’t thinking of going alone. Your ex-boyfriend, Frenkie, was the one who had planned it with you. You had chosen the destination, the hotel and even the activities you were going to do. Since your relationship had ended, you didn't speak again. You didn’t want to miss the chance to visit Hawaii, so you grabbed the bags and decided not to miss the opportunity.

However, when you sat in your place on the plane, right next to the window, a while later you saw a face you knew very well approaching you. His blond hair, his pale complexion and his eyes that could pierce your soul. It was Frenkie. Frenkie was there and it wasn't a hallucination. It wasn’t like those times you walked down the street and thought you saw him in the crowd. This time it was real, your eyes weren’t fooling you. His eyes met you and there was a moment when none of you knew what to do.

"Frenkie."

To see the one who had once been your boyfriend wasn't probably something enjoyable, but the truth was that things had not ended badly with him. Your relationship used to be beautiful, but your jobs, distance and poor communication had made you decide to take different paths. You had never spoken again, expecting the other to make the first move. None of you made the first move, until now, when both of you met each other after so long.

"Hi, how have you been?"

You smiled, "Well, I guess. And you?"

"Well."

You missed him. Your friends knew, you knew. Frenkie had always been the one, the man you’d fallen in love with.

"It’s good to see you. I didn’t know you were coming too."

You admitted, seeing him sit on the seat next to you. Your arms brushed for a brief second, you felt a stream of energy that went straight to your belly, where you felt butterflies.

"I love Hawaii. I wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world."

"Me neither, I want to swim with the dolphins."

Both had spoken so much about your journey in the past, that as long as time had passed and you were no longer together, your feelings about the journey had not changed.

"Will this be awkward?" he asked, when both kept silent.

You shook your head. "We can be friends, Frenkie. We used to be friends."

He smiled. A sincere smile, which made him shine. Frenkie was much more than an ex-boyfriend, he had been your everything. He was the kindest person you knew, someone who had supported you in everything you did. Before being a couple, you had had a nice friendship that lasted a long time, until you fell in love and none could hide their feelings for much longer.

"I’d like to be your friend again."

The rest of the way on the plane was pleasant, while all the people slept to kill time, you two talked like never before. However, upon arriving at the hotel, the two of you realized a detail you had overlooked. There was only one bed.

"I can go and ask for another room. I don’t want it to be awkward for any of us."

He kept his gaze on you and saw your reaction. You accepted, but when he came back, you saw that he seemed a little hesitant.

"What happened?"

"There is no other room."

It wasn't what either of you expected. Sleeping in the same bed was not among your plans, long ago you had stopped having intimate touches and sharing privacy. It was like taking back something you’d lost. But you had no choice. The first night, it was pretty weird having Frenkie so close to you. The second night, you slowly got used to it. And the third night, you woke up hugging him, with his arms wrapped around your body, as if he never wanted to let you go. Not again.

During the day, you went to the beach. As he went into the water, you looked at him from a distance. He was beautiful. Frenkie was beautiful. Your heart had never stopped beating for him, and having spent those nights together, sharing again the closeness, made a part of you want to get him back. You wanted to stay there, spend your time with him in Hawaii and forget you ever broke up. Everything felt right, you were by his side and nothing else mattered.

When Frenkie returned to your side, you were sitting on a blanket, looking at the horizon. You were holding a smoothie with a little alcohol in your hand.

"How is your family? I forgot to ask." he said.

"They’re fine, they’re sure to go crazy when I tell them you’re here too. They miss you so much."

"And I miss them."

After a while, he spoke again.

"Have you adopted a dog?"

You had once shared to him the idea of adopting a dog, just once.

"Do you remember that?"

"Of course I remember that, did you really think I’d forget?"

You smiled.

"I was thinking of adopting a dog, but..."

"But?"

"Nothing."

Frenkie took your hand, an involuntary move. You had been so used to holding your hands when you used to be together that to stop doing so had been the worst thing in the world. Now that he had you around, it was as if his body couldn’t forget that you were no longer together. It was a reflex, a muscle memory.

"I know we’re not as close as before, but you can tell me things."

You knew it. It was Frenkie. Frenkie would never judge you for anything, he was probably the only person you could be honest with. He knew you better than anyone. So you decided to tell him the truth.

"It feels weird to adopt a dog that’s not yours and mine. When I imagined adopting a furry animal, I imagined the two of us being parents. You looked at him, you couldn’t hold it back, so you nodded. Frenkie closed the distance between him and your lips. It was a kiss you had long longed for, a kiss you did not know how to explain. In the midst of the moment, you asked yourself what was happening. At the time, you wanted Frenkie to be yours and you his. Why couldn’t things be like before?

When your mouths split, you tried to get your oxygen back. You listened to the sound of the water and your heart beating.

"Frenkie, what’s all of this?"

"Listen, I think, I think we found each other again for a reason. It’s our second chance. Give me a second chance and we’ll do this again. Everything will be fine this time."

You knew that in a world of boys, he was a gentleman. That he was your soul mate, that no matter what, you would still be in love with him.

I’m woken up by my little dog Pearl, who seems to be able to guess what day it is today.

“I know, little one. Dad is coming back today. Finally!”

Pre-season is tough for the players but no one talks about how tough it is for their families. It’s been two weeks since I got to see Frenkie and I’m planning on being a clingy girlfriend when he comes back. I want cuddles. And so does Pearl.

“Let’s give you your breakfast and get mine ready before I go pick him up”.

I know there is no point in dressing up because we’ll come back home and just spend the day here but I still want to make a bit of an effort. Frenkie will be so tired after 12 hours on a plane that he’ll appreciate me trying to look extra cute for him.

I pick up a nice orange summery dress. I got a little bit of a tan when we were away on holidays so it looks better now than when I'm pale. I put my hair up in a messy bun since it's still too hot in Barcelona to wear it down for longer than ten minutes. And there is no need for make-up thanks to the tan. Picking up the perfume I know Frenkie loves, I spray a bit on my neck and my wrists. Perfect!

"I'll be back in an hour, my love", I say, scratching Pearl's tummy when she lies on the floor trying to get my attention so I don't leave. So needy. But I'll do the same when I see my boyfriend. Well, not asking him to rub my belly but…the human version.

The traffic is not that bad so I'm actually a little early. I decide to get out of the car because it's too hot inside and see some people have made it to the training centre.

"Hi, are you on pick-up duty today?"

"Yes, Lluís", I laugh. "I drove Frenkie here before he left so he's got no car".

"I'm sure he'll be happy to see you as soon as possible after such a long time away", I nod. "And you look lovely, by the way".

"Thank you".

"The café is open if you want to hide from this heat. I can let you know when they arrive".

"That'd be amazing!"

So I go to the café and order a soda and chat with the people who work there. I love everyone working at Barça. It really is like a big family.

"I think they are arriving now".

I turn and see Lluís walking towards the café too which means he's coming to tell me.

"Are they here?"

"Yes. Go see your boy".

I smile at him and walk towards where the bus should be parked right now.

One by one, the players start to show up and even though I hope Frenkie is one of the first ones out of the bus, he's not.

It almost feels like everyone is already out but him. But then I see him, looking very tired.

"Hi!"

When he hears my voice, Frenkie looks up and I see a smile forming on his lips.

"Hey! I missed you".

I jog towards him and hug him, so happy he's back.

He lets go of the suitcase to hug me properly and I can feel him putting more of his weight on me before sighing.

"You smell so good".

That makes me giggle. "Thank you. You sound very tired. How was the flight?"

"The flight was fine. I just don't feel well".

I move back and lift his face to look at him. He looks so much more tired than he should. And he looks so pale. Well, even more than usual.

"What happened? Are you sick?"

"It was my fault".

I turn to see it's Gavi speaking. "Why would it be your fault? Did you do something to him?"

"I had a stomach bug when we travelled to the US and pretty much the entire squad got it. Frenkie is the last one".

"Oh, honey".

I move the hair away from his forehead and notice how hot he is.

"Do you have a temperature too?", he nods. "Well, let's go home so I can look after you".

Taking his hand, I lead him to the car. And before going to the driver's seat, I run to the café to get a bottle of water for him.

"Thanks, my love. I wish I could kiss you but I don't want to make you sick".

"Is that how you got it from Gavi?"

He chuckles. "No, from Robert".

"Should have guessed".

When we are finally home, Pearl goes absolutely mad seeing Frenkie is back.

"Hey, girl. Did you miss me?", she starts to bite him playfully while she keeps running around him. "I'll take that as a yes".

"We both missed you".

"And now I come back sick and can't spend quality time with you two because of it. I hate this".

"Hey, it's fine. I knew we would spend the day home anyways. You were going to be tired from the flight and I have the day off".

He gets up from the floor, much to Pearl's dislike. And he grabs my face gently. I start to lean forward instinctively but he just kisses my forehead instead.

"You look so pretty. I should be taking you out for lunch. But I will the second I feel better, ok?"

I nod, smiling at how he's always worried about me. Even when he is sick and it should be me who's worried.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Nothing", he groans.

"Frenkie, you have to eat. I can make you some soup or order something if you fancy that more".

"Soup is fine".

"Ok, I'll get changed quickly and make some. I can buy some bread too, that's good for the stomach and we love carbs. How about you shower while I do all that?"

He nods, getting up and following me to our bedroom.

I open the drawers to grab some shorts and a t-shirt for Frenkie and I feel him wrap his arms around my waist and placing his head on my shoulder after kissing it.

"Orange looks so good on you. Can you wear something else that's orange? And you can wear that dress when I take you to lunch this weekend".

"I'll find something. And I found this for you. Go freshen up. It'll make you feel so much better".

"I really want to kiss you".

"Then do it. I'll catch this bug anyways", I shrug. "At least I get some kisses as well".

He smiles, pecking my lips a couple of times before going to the bathroom.

I change into comfier clothes and go back to the kitchen to make his soup.

Once the food is boiling, I bring the heat down a bit and set the timer before leaving to go buy some bread.

"Pearly, come here! Do you want to come with me to buy some bread? Yes?"

I manage to calm her down long enough to put the lead on and grab my keys.

"I'll be back in ten minutes!", I yell, hoping Frenkie can hear me. And when he yells back, I know he did.

"One baguette, please. And…I'll take two of those chocolate donuts as well, please".

"Here you go", says the lady from the bakery when she passes me the bag. "Thank you".

"Thank you. See you soon".

I can tell Pearl wants to stay out for longer and make a mental note to go for a longer walk after lunch. If she doesn't fall asleep like it usually happens around that time.

"Honey, I'm home!"

"I'm on the sofa".

When I get to the living room, I see him laying down with his eyes closed.

"Did the shower help?", I say, brushing my fingers through his still wet hair.

"A bit…", he opens his eyes and just stares at me. "You're wearing my shirt".

I look down at my clothes. "Yes, you said I should wear orange and the only orange shirt I have is your one from the national team".

"It looks so good on you".

"It also looks alright on you".

"Remember that time you wore it and a guy asked you if you were my fan?"

"Yes", I laugh, remembering that moment. "And when I told him I was your girlfriend he gave me such a look. Totally thought I was making it up".

"Well, you weren't", he says, grabbing one of the hands caressing his hair and kissing it softly.

The sound of the alarm I set for the food ruins the moment and I go blend the veggies.

I cut the baguette into smaller pieces and toast a few of them. Some just after drizzling some olive oil on the bread and for the others I add some cheese that melts and makes my mouth water. We love carbs and we definitely love cheese.

"Food is ready!"

"Coming!"

I put everything on the table but before I'm done, Frenkie hugs me, just trying to find comfort in doing that.

"Is there any medicine you can take? I could go buy it. I hate seeing you in pain".

"I have some on the wash bag that the team gave me. Can you go get it? I feel so weak".

"Sit down, I'll be right back".

I spot the wash bag quickly. Frenkie is usually so tidy. Way more than I am. But he just left his suitcase and bags on the floor, which shows how bad he really must feel.

There is only one little pack of tablets in the bag, so I pick it up but not before I notice everything he got there. Shampoo, shower gel, hairbrush, toothbrush…and a little bracelet with my name and his we made once while we looked after one of my little nephews. I had forgotten about it but seeing him carry it around makes me smile.

"Got them. I think. There were no more tablets there".

He puts the spoon down to grab the medicine. "Thank you".

I see him take the tablet and put his head in his hands, sighing. And I have to hug him. I put my arms around him and kiss his cheek before squeezing him but not too tightly. I want to comfort him, not hurt him more.

"I love you", I hear him whisper.

"I'm fond of you too".

I move my chair and plate so I can sit next to him and he looks up to smile at me.

Frenkie eats slowly but he manages to eat a nice portion of food. I push the bread towards him and he shakes his head but I convince him to try and have some. It'll do him good.

"I need to take Pearl on a little walk but then I'm all yours, ok?"

"I'll go to bed. It's closer to the bathroom".

I can't help but laugh at that. "Good choice".

Pearl and I go to the park so she can run around. I look at her smiling to myself. She's definitely going to have a long nap after that. We drink some water from the fountain before making our way back home.

"Let's go look after dad, Pearly! We can all cuddle together, right?"

I swear she understands what I said to her because she starts walking faster. And when we get home, she starts jumping while I get my keys to open the door. But there is no need because the door opens and Pearl moves on to jumping around Frenkie instead.

"Go back to bed. You're sick".

"I'm a lot better now", he says, opening his arms so I hug him.

I close the door behind me and get into his embrace. I really missed him these last few weeks.

"How about a cuddle session?"

"That was all I wanted from today. Cuddles with my girls".

"Let's go then".

We get the sofa ready to lay down comfortably and put on a comfort movie that we won't probably pay attention to. Pearl is lying near our feet, getting comfortable before her nap.

"You look better", I tell Frenkie, caressing his face.

"Being next to you is the best medicine".

"Yeah?"

He nods, leaning down to kiss me. "I missed you so much".

"Robert's kisses aren't as good as mine, right?"

"Not even close".

She ignored them and at some point they stopped.

She’s a model but has gone for the influencer stuff lately, and I think she’s doing a great job. She posts a bit of everything while maintaining the same vibe. Fashion, unboxing, outfits, traveling, everything. She’s also a mom, so she posts a lot of things about maternity and different products.

Fun fact, I once asked her something and she was so sweet, actually taking the time to give a proper answer 🥹

She’s an Italian model, influencer, and a fashion designer. She’s the owner of Masqmai and Ākala Studio. I’ve never heard anything bad about her, in fact, she’s always known how to engage with her followers and fans. She’s really really sweet and funny. Her Q&A’s are always fun.

While I love all spanish guys of team being close no matter the age I really find it weird the distance with the foreign ones . maybe it’s bc of language barrier ? like idt any of them other than eric knows english. frenkie knows spanish but doesn’t seem close to homegrown ones

Coule be. There’s also a age divide thing in team altho they all get along. Frenkie is close to the older guys, Sergi Roberto, Marc Ter Stegen, he was close to Memphis when he was here. Andreas and Frenkie also hangout with Sergi and Lewy. Lewy hangs out with the other foreign players and Sergi Roberto but gets along with the kids too. Andreas is really shy, so no surprise but he gets along with Eric…Eric knows English and played the PL too. Franck Kessie is closer to the French guys but is also very private and a family man. Raphinha is close to Gavi and a bit with Eric, who likes all or most of his posts on IG but dunno outside the pitch, he knows Spanish though. And although Araujo is Uruguayan he is a La Masia kid (Barça B) so he’s very close to the younger/Spanish guys, and Koundé is basically like he is from Sevilla (speaks like it too) and gets along with everyone, but especially the French dudes of the team. Dembou hangs out with Gavi and the french dudes but mainly keeps to himself; he had finally learned Spanish too.

Winning their last three matches in all competitions, FC Barcelona hope to prolong strong form which has seen them score 11 and keep a trio of clean sheets by seeing off Cadiz at the Estadio Ramón de Carranza on Saturday.

Speaking at his prematch press conference yesterday, head coach Ronald Koeman said that he expects Barca to have a “lot of the ball” in their La Liga tie.

“They [Cadiz] seem to be having a hard time winning at home, but they’re getting good results, and it’s a tricky ground where we have to be focused to play at our best level and score,” the Dutchman added.

Not embarking on the trip to Hungary midweek, where the Blaugrana beat Ferencvaros 0-4 in the Champions League, Marc Andre ter Stegen is to return to man the sticks for his team.

Oscar Mingueza, who has been a fine stand in for the likes of the injured Gerard Pique, will continue at center back partnered by Clement Lenglet. On the flanks, Sergino Dest is the right back and Jordi Alba the left back looking to feed the midfield and attack.

Forming the double pivot for the first time in a while, mainly due to the latter’s injury on international duty for Spain, Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets are the focal part of Koeman’s 4-2-3-1 system.

Likewise rested as their ‘keeper was, Philippe Coutinho and Lionel Messi will occupy the left and right wings.

In central attacking midfield and as a lone striker, Antoine Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite are now unswitchable from the first XI thanks to hitting the back of the net a combined eight times in under a calendar month.

FC Barcelona should line up like this against Cadiz in La Liga on Saturday.

Back on a domestic front, the prime objective here is to keep some sort of pace with Atletico Madrid, who play Valladolid a couple of hours earlier, and Real Sociedad, who contest an Alaves that beat Real Madrid on Sunday night. The Basques are 10 points ahead of FCB, but there are two games in hand to contest that could see that lead cut down to just six.

I can see Kylian play in premier league. Spanish league is possible but tbh I just don't see kylian learning spanish lol. Maybe he's a quick learner (like de Jong) but again I don't see it 🤷‍♀️. Wdy? Which league could u see Kylian in?

He already speaks Spanish. He also had Spanish classes as a teen at Monaco (there’s a video of it) and we’ve seen him speak Spanish a bit more this year. Here he speaks it: XXX and here he speaks it a little but also you see that he understands it: XXX (That last video is forever one of my faves btwh haha. It’s so hialrious how Kylian is so done with this reporter and his Madrid questions 😂😂😂) It’s also rumored he tries to speak it more with the Spanish speaking players in the PSG-lockerroom. 

Frenkie had 6 months before he really moved to Spain to learn the language, but I think it’s also important you yourself want to learn the language. I don’t understand how Bale and Ous also for example don’t make the effort to learn the language of the country you’re living in also to make it easier for yourself. 

Now onto the ask hahaha. I think Kylian could easily play in the PL. He has the physique for it: he’s strong/broad, can handle a tackle etc. So I think it could be a league for him. 

The thing is just that he hasn’t dreamed of the PL as a kid. He wanted to play for PSG since he came from Paris, but his dream club is Real Madrid... And when your childhood dream can become a reality, who would say no to that? I mean Frenkie could also earn more at other clubs, but Barça was his dream club as a kid so that’s what he choose. If Real doens’t want him/can’t pay Kylian (more that last bit) he will go to the PL, but other than that I see RMA as his next destination.
