this show is going into its final season. things have gone to shit and I'll be glad when it's all over. but I personally do still have a lot of love for this show that existed long before I knew anything about the cast and crew at all. I do not care about them. I do not want to know anything about them. you will not see anything about them here. just the characters.

this is a place to post about the show and the show alone. no ship wars, no character bashing, no negativity around the show itself. just a celebration of the good that came out of it -- namely, the time and love that the fans have put into their own creations over the years.

I will not go into real world stuff on this blog ever except to say this: I do not support Noah and Brett and anyone else using their platform to promote bias/propaganda and spread hate. Will is a major part of the story and so entangled in so much that is so central to this show and I will continue to post about him in that regard. Murray I will not be posting at all unless his presence is absolutely necessary to the edit.

I will be taking edits from the strangerthingsedit tag and already existing sources, but if you are still around and still posting, you could tag me @ strangerarchive, too. I'll only post things that have happened on the screen or in the script, though.

30 Days Fictionkind Challenge

Day 7: What was your introduction to fictionkin?

I don't remember, actually. I think my intro to fictionkin was from researching otherkin, I read about fictionkin and I went "yeah, that makes sense, that's awesome! the brain is so cool!!"

I think when I really started to get introduced to the actual meat and bones of it, was when I began realizing that Sonic and Leon were synpaths. Which now, I still think they are because canon versions of myself aren't...me and they're kind of a different person, pft.

I then realized that through me coining Talehearted, I questioned...what if I am someone that actually is in this story? Maybe that's why I felt like I should be there, because I actually am? Am I an oc...? Certainly I'm not that blue rat... *continues to look into my childhood and my traits up until now* OH C'MO-

Day 8: Are you similar to your fictotype in personality? How so?

Well...I'd say...I'm more similar in ideologies than personality, but those ideologies do affect my personality, sooo...

With Sonic, since I was a child I have always been a I need to go-go-go, I would be super dismissive of others when it came to socializing but I would always come around to make sure they're cared for (I would also totally dismiss a meeting with the president to go take someone to a cool flower field...and I have done such similar things, like skipping a class just to go and feed a dog I couldn't feed earlier). I had always been a "very friendly yet taking no shit from anybody" person when I was younger. I would also have a very strict set of morals I never broke, and had this very...black n white way of thinking but was open to understand (autism!!! autism hog!!!)

With Leon, well, I feel that this is where my "Sonic" aspects started to get twisted into something else due to trauma and life in general. My strict set of morals, black n white thinking morphed into something that chained me as an impossible goal post for myself, despite my life driving me away from it. I wanted so desperately to save everyone around me but they...just kept falling deeper down holes, I felt useless and hopeless, what was I for if I couldn't help people? My life was not my own anymore.

Which is something...this asshole above thinks explicitly in the text... 😭And things that have happened to him, parallel some stuff that had happened to me as well. We think the same, we see the same.

On a more lighthearted side, our humor is extremely similar and pretty much the same, LMFAO. We both exhibit heavily implied autism traits in the text 🤨. Both generally silent people but as soon as we are around someone who we like or dislike, we cannot shut up with silly remarks.

Day 9: Are you similar to your fictotype in appearance? How so?

Oh! This is my favorite fact about me and my Leon fictotype!

We have almost the exact same scar on our face, on the same spot too, but I believe it's parallel in canon? I have it on the right and canon has it on the left, but I'm very dyslexic so I can't tell. :<

As for Sonic...well... we are both short xD. I also felt really sonic-ish when it comes to my hair, it's not spiky, but it's very fluffy and it always felt like how quills would feel to me.

set your fridge to the lowest temperature it can go. the energy consumption is minimal in difference and it'll give you +4/7 days on most foods
