Historical:

The Recruit by Monica McCarty: Mary watches Kenneth have sex with another woman in the stables after wandering in thinking a horse was in distress. Kenneth notices her and puts on a bit of a show.

Her Wanton Wager by Grace Callaway: Percy watches couples getting off through a peephole in Hunt's club, and when Hunt catches her she's sadly contemplating that she'll never be a good girl, but Hunt is like "HELL YEAH YOU AREN'T" and goes to town on her. Truly an affirming scene.

The Duke Who Knew Too Much by Grace Callaway: Ft. some unwitting as well as witting(?) voyeurism; the unwitting bit is when Emma accidentally happens upon some light CNC between the hero Alaric and his mistress at the time; the more purposeful voyeurism is when Alaric kidnaps Emma and takes her to a sex club to observe BDSM scenes to make her understand what he was doing with his mistress and then they make out.

The Prince of Broadway by Joanna Shupe: We love a good peephole scene; this one takes place during a police raid and Clay and Florence are in a tunnel and happen upon a couple having sex through a partition. Flo makes Clay turn around and they both masturbate to it.

The Bride Goes Rogue by Joanna Shupe: Katherine watches Preston masturbate in the French Ball scene, and later on, he watches her masturbate in front of him in a carriage.

His Countess by S.M. LaViolette: Gideon brings two prostitutes to his new estate and the widow of the last earl, Alys, watches them go at it (with snacks) for multiple nights and he is very aware of this and puts on a show.

You'll find voyeurism in most of the books in LaViolette's Victorian Decadence series, but this is the one that stood out to me.

Contemporary:

Praise by Sara Cate: There's a great scene during the opening of the kink club where Charlie and Emerson are in a dark room watching a couple having sex through the window and he fingers her while they watch.

Eyes on Me by Sara Cate: This book is allll about voyeurism; from what I remember, Garrett hasn't had sex in a decade but he has done plenty of watching. The heroine, his stepsister Mia, is a cam girl on not!OnlyFans and he's a regular viewer. Later on, there's plenty of great exhibitionism scenes as well set in the club.

Give Me More by Sara Cate: Hunter's original fantasy is to watch Drake with his wife Isabel, and this does happen a few times initially (in a kink club, and during a "there was only one bed" hotel room sitch).

When Heroes Fall by Giana Darling: There's this really hot scene where Elena watches Dante jerk off through a crack in his bedroom door, and he calls her name out when he orgasms.

The Professional by Kresley Cole: When Sevastyan first breaks into Natalie's home to kidnap her, he watches her masturbate in the bathtub before he drags her out of there lol. Later on when they're in Paris, he routinely watches her masturbate on security cameras and storms home while she's calmly giving a show.

Only For A Night by Naima Simone: Another sex club voyeurism scene; Rion gets Harper off in the voyeurism room in his aphrodisiac club while they watch another couple through the glass.

About Alec

Alec is from the show Shadowunters and is the eldest son of Maryse and Robert Lightwood. He does have three younger siblings: Jace (adopted), Izzy and Max. Being a Nephilim (which means he’s mostly human/mundane but does have angel blood within him which gives him some powers), he works as a Shadowhunter - or rather is currently the Head of the Institute. As a Shadowhunter, he mainly hunts demons and tries to fight for a better world for the Downworlders (vampires, warlocks, seelies, werewolves etc) because the Nephilim still have a pretty outdated view and tend to see themselves as the ‘better’ species. As a Shadowhunter he can use his stele to draw runes onto his body which can help him while hunting and improve his powers (for more information about that please read here) but most of the time he can be seen walking around, sometimes even openly carrying his bow and arrow. His runes usually do look like tattoos to everyone else unless they know about runes or Alec has glamoured them (meaning then they’ll be invisible to human beings).

Growing up, Alec has always been used to being in the shadow, especially once Jace joined the family - and it’s something that usually doesn’t bother him too much as he prefers to be the protector in the background.

A big challenge for him was to come to terms with the fact that he is gay - which is something the Nephilim culture generally does not approve of. He used to tell himself that he was in love with his adopted brother and parabatai Jace and while he does have a deep affection for Jace, looking back he knows he only thought so because he wanted to put his feelings someplace safe and some place where he knew it wouldn’t actually hurt him in the long run. But after meeting Magnus, it all changed. He absolutely fell in love with the warlock and while, in the beginning, he did try and run away from his feelings (to a level where he even got engaged to a woman), he eventually came through when Magnus barged into the wedding. It was a long road even after that but currently he is at a point where he’s unapologetic about his sexuality and doesn’t care too much what others have to say about it.

He was once possessed by a demon which lead to his body killing Clary’s mother Jocelyn - which is something he still feels guilty about to this day even though Clary has told him that she doesn’t blame him and knows it wasn’t him. Sometimes, he still sees his hands covered in blood and he has this tick of rubbing his palms in an attempt to get rid of the image.

Personality

- He’s sarcastic and cautious of new people but once he lets someone grow close, he’d do anything to protect them (even disregard his own safety) and is loyal to a fault. - Alec is a serious person who prefers to stick to the rules - unless the rules need to be changed (his demeanor in that regard has changed over time but he still prefers to just go by the rules.) - At first he had to come to terms about his sexuality but is at a point where he’s mostly comfortable with it and doesn’t feel the need to hide it anymore. - He can be affectionate and caring once he completely opens up to someone. - He’s very observant but won’t necessarily push people to talk to him unless he thinks it’s important for the other person to do so. - Alec tends to take responsibility for things, especially when people he loves are involved and even if he doesn’t have much to do with the situation in the first place.

Life in Eden: In Eden, Alec’s life has pretty much been the same - except everything is set in Eden. He currently is tending to his broken heart of having been forced to break up with Magnus so that he would get his magic back and is trying to focus more on his job. While he isn’t surprised that he isn’t seeing Magnus around, he sometimes wonders where Jace and Izzy are but the thought comes up and almost immediately leaves his head again - it’s almost like he can’t really focus on that fact and somehow it doesn’t worry him too much even though something does feel off.

So he mostly keeps to himself, even though there is an inner voice (which annoyingly sounds like his sister) telling him to try and be more social.
