the things id give for an interaction between niyon & lobelia because the two are so revolved around sound as a concept in very differing ways.

i think niyon would absolutely despise lobelia and be repulsed by his noise but lobelia is estatic about it.... tell me more, mon ami! is it repugnant enough to make your ears bleed?

ok now im just gonna ramble about him under the cut

i get why canon heavily plays up the silly / comedic side of lobelia and it's 100% to blind just how fucked he is. which to be completely honest, i both love & hate because it's a good way to bring it down a few levels but it never means lobelia will be serious unless it's for a brief moment. i want to be able to write him without the constant xd moment he ends up dwelling into. the aspect it of i enjoy and ultimately try to weave into my portrayal is the outlandish shit he could say but i don't want it to suppress or mute lobelia.

i also stray away from a lot of the concepts they've put out- how lobelia just stops killing people ( he has a confirmed kill count of over 200+ and you are going to tell me . a serial killer who enjoys killing for his own self gratification is just going to magically stop??????)

the way lobelia insists he'd do so djeeta, that he'd keep it up for a few months until it starts becoming harder. that the urge is extremely strong. he is a murderer, he can't just turn that off when he's been doing it as long as he has.

i just hate the idea that u join the crew n ur magically a good person. sometimes the captain just lets the worse people in with hopes of them doing good but ultimately maybe it was a bad decision and oops! too late! you can't do it!!!!!!!!!

god i love lobelia so much as a character because he is so unapologetically fucked up, shows no real sign of being a good person but the game glosses over that bc haha funny french magician man. and boy, its where i step in like: ok.... lets look into that!

so if we do ever get an evoker event in the future. the things i do for lobelia focused content. i dont imagine it can be the most deep of any of the evokers [literally as a concept and character he is so bluntly straightforward; you know everything in his life where as with the others there might be stories or further connections they can try to show you]

the most they could do is tell or show us his times along his travels of places he's affected or visited. and for me that'd be so interesting to see. i'd also love to see more exploration of his sound magic, why or how he came to be the prodigy he was [even tho it's just heavily implied he was naturally born that way]. im begging.

and my biggest thing: i dont want them to redeem him. i dont want them to justify him in anyway bc the man is literally so far gone past the point of where he deserves that.

he literally killed his parents for no real reason other than he wanted to hear the sounds they make when they die. AS A CHILD BTW!!!!!!!!!!
