Duskwight fashion has been wanting for quite some time now.  The Bandee Pakshee’s HR Lead has something to say about that!  Reneeia Belloq brings forth a spicy addition to the PiB Catalogue that will surely rival certain other items (regulars will know which ones)!

 The “Gown of Gelmorrian Nights” takes a stroll down the risqué, presenting a sleek dress with great décolleté made from a dark black leather made, patterned to resemble snake scales.  The top portion of this piece is trimmed with the softest of furs and studded with white gems for a sparkling finish, adding style and comfort.

 The violet sash of silver bells is a personal touch of Reneeia’s – a small accoutrement that was her own personal means of showing her clients’ affection; were someone to gain her favor, she would detach one of the bells and bestow it upon them.  On the contrary, should they earn her ire… you will have to find out for yourself.

 Thavnair and Gelmorra.  Two city-states blend as one with the creation of this moss seductive dress.  Surely to be a hot ticket for the women, the Gown of Gelmorrian Nights stands out in the fashion realm with its dark allure.

LADY TREMAINE - What does it mean to their muse to carry on their legacy?

Oh man. Huh. This could go two ways for Rowan. On one hand there's the Gelmorra stuff. I'm having to rewrite the Palace of the Dead chapter because I added the Light Party, but Rowan gets very invested in trying to save Gelmorra and preserve it for future generations. It's one of the ways she deals with not knowing her birth family... if not her specific family, then her whole people.

On the other hand... Endwalker spoilers after the cut.

On the other hand, there is Azem and being a hero/adventurer. Which is kind of what she just naturally does. Rowan just likes helping people. One of the things that often rattles in my brain with her kids is wondering who would take on Azem's crystal. Like, eventually, Rowan will die (of old age if I have anything to say about it). So she has to figure out who is going to take that crystal. With twins, it gets complicated! I think Luna ends up giving it up to Louie, which kind of surprises everyone. She's the one who thirsts for power after all. But she has a stubborn streak to her that desires it to come from herself, and not any magic of eld.

After Minuinne's untimely death, the life Rise's soul moved onto have was that of a Gridanian, Wildwood leatherworker. However, the transition for her soul was anything but smooth, because the Angoul of Minuinne's time took her death so well that he spent the next several years practicing necromancy in an effort to bring her back to life. Though his efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, he did trap Minuinne's soul in a limbo for the duration, instead of it being allowed to simply move on and be reborn.

The unfortunate side-effect of that was that the poor soul was very, very tired by the time Angoul of the time gave up and made its rebirth possible. For Damonient, that has meant what has essentially materialized as lifelong depression, except soul-level. There has been no fixing how empty, hollow and pointless life has always felt for him, despite his life always having been good. He is and always has been a passionless husk of a person, trudging from one day to the next not out of will, but simple force of habit.

Of course, then he meets a certain Duskwight who resonates with him on such a level that from the first word they exchanged... Something, a spark of something is finally lit up in him.

(What if?) New Gelmorra

The next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV takes players to the mysterious subterraneous empire of New Gelmorra.

Built by Duskwight survivors of the War of the Magi and home to advanced technology and arcane magic, the sprawling metropolis located deep beneath the surface of Eorzea is ruled by a mysterious woman known as the Matriarch.

Drawn into the conflict between the Matriarch and a group of proud clans trying to overthrow the regime, the player will have to choose sides and fight for their beliefs.

New Gelmorra is a land of mystery, danger, and adventure. Which side would you choose?

This is an idea that I've played around with friends; Duskwights deserve better - not only their very own Ishgard but also represented as honorable! Who would your character be?

Pg. 11 - Sylphic Glamour

Another Black Shroud specialty graces the Bandee Pakshee Chayan.  Head Chef Rixy Sylwest has brought forth inspiration in the form of a leafy ballgown thar brings with it a familiar… air.

 Intriguingly dubbed the “Sylphic Glamour”, this one (verdant outfit) is rife with curves and designs one would find in any Sylphic settlement.  Woven with silk belonging to the aforementioned tribal race, it is yet another testament to the growing friendship between man and Sylph.  Two larger “vines” protrude from the back, resembling wings usually seen by the whimsical race.

Another interesting piece is the leafy brassiere that covers the wearer’s chest; no strings or straps can be seen that keeps it aloft.  How is that possible, one might ask?  While the Higuri Regalia is capable of performing the impossible, the only true conclusion as to how such an article of clothing can be held up on its own is:

Aetherial manipulation.  Or simply: Magic.

 How peculiar, indeed, that the renowned Master Chef of the Pakshee (confirmed of higher rank than Diamond Chef) would stake her own claim upon the haute couture world, but this one has definitely done a fine job doing so.

 The elegance of nature breathes through the Sylphic Glamour, and those who don it will feel right at home as they gallivant through the realm of high fashion.  A must-have for well-dressed ones!
