To sum up the week in General Hospital happenings:
Jackie Zeman's death was written into the very first episode of the year.
Sonny and Nina's relationship blew up.
Michael and Willow's relationship is also blowing up.
Nikolas returned.
They aired a ridiculous anniversary special where the usual suspects were given the most screentime while some actors didn't get to say a single word, barely any old clips were shown, and the takeaway was that Steve Burton is coming back.
Ingo Rademacher whined about his firing for the 57th time and everyone's response was, "Get bent."
It's only January 5th.

I’m going to say something my crazy. This isn’t entirely Anna’s fault. Charlotte was actively terrorizing her and Anna shot a warning before she shot her. She could have said something instead of staying suspiciously in the dark.

I am not at all for Spencer taking custody of the Eik!Baby. I really think that baby needs to get far far away from Port Charles.
However, every single thing Spencer said about Nikolas was absolutely correct. Nikolas has sworn up and down that he's gonna be better this time and instead fails to do so every time. He's severely irresponsible and self-centered, as seen in this episode.
He learns that Spencer and Ava are both out to give him what's coming to him and what does he do? Declare his son is "gone," physically man-handle said son, and storms out of GH when Laura stresses to him that this is the last thing he should be doing. He would rather mad-dash to Ava and blame her for all of his problems that he caused completely on his own.
And for crying out loud Laura. This "You're family, you must work it out!" shit is getting old. I can understand she's guilty in seeing her son become an utter scumbag. But she should not be putting any blame on this fight on Spencer. The Angry Look she gave him along with the "What have you done, Spencer? >:(" is just really unfair.
Frankly, not only is Spencer's choice to not give his father a chance an incredibly valid choice that should be respected. But most importantly--Spencer should not be responsible for what his father does. That should be on the damn adult in the situation.

Spencer is better than me because the moment I found out I had to go back to living with my cheating-ass dad, I’m staying my ass in prison till my release date and then finding a hotel.

Im gonna be honest...
I feel for Elizabeth.
Being abandoned by your parents and having them prioritize other shit over you.
It's awful. It sucks and it hurts and it's infuriating.
Dehumanizing. Makes you wonder why you were born if you were just going to be tossed away. Like new toy that lost its newness.
Fuck them. Fuck Jeff and Carol or whatever their names were. Just fuck them. And every parent like them.

General Hospital: Haley Pullos Pursues Plea Deal Amidst Car Clash
Haley Pullos, known for her role as Molly on General Hospital, has been embroiled in a legal battle since a harrowing car accident nearly a year ago, which sent shockwaves through fans and the entertainment industry alike. Pullos faces serious allegations, including driving under the influence and hit-and-run charges. Now, there's a new development: reports suggest Pullos and her legal team are considering negotiating a plea deal. Let's delve into the highs and lows of Pullos' legal journey.
Since the traumatic car crash incident last year, Haley Pullos has faced a challenging period. Following the accident, she was charged with a felony DUI causing injury. Additionally, she faced another felony charge for driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding the legal limit, along with a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge for allegedly colliding with a parked vehicle and leaving the scene.
Authorities reportedly discovered edible marijuana wrappers and miniature bottles of tequila in Pullos' car. Signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech and the smell of alcohol, were observed by the police. Initially, Pullos denied any wrongdoing.
However, she and her legal team are now contemplating reaching a compromise with the court. Presently, Pullos faces a potential jail sentence of up to three years. Nonetheless, a guilty verdict could result in a reduced sentence, house arrest, or even no jail time at all.
Complicating matters further, the other driver involved in the crash, Courtney Wilder, has filed a lawsuit against Pullos, alleging that she drove into oncoming traffic on a Pasadena freeway, leading to the collision.
Judge Terry Smerling, overseeing the case, has scheduled another court appearance for April 8th, which could be pivotal as it might represent Pullos' final opportunity to negotiate before a full trial. Failure to reach a settlement could lead to severe consequences for Pullos.
Meanwhile, the developments surrounding Pullos have had repercussions on General Hospital. While a temporary replacement was initially found for the role of Molly, Kristen Vaganos has since been cast permanently. Despite the challenges, Vaganos has been portraying Molly since September, bringing a sense of stability to the show.
As the legal proceedings unfold, both fans and industry observers remain intrigued by Pullos' narrative, both on and off-screen. With the April court date looming, uncertainty shrouds the actress's future, leaving many wondering what lies ahead.
Nevertheless, Soap Opera Daily remains committed to delivering comprehensive coverage of Pullos' ongoing case. Stay tuned for the latest updates and insights into General Hospital news and gossip!

For the record, it took the writers FIVE YEARS to finally get around to answering the question of Aiden's sexuality. To put that in perspective, that's the same length of time Willow has been on the show. It's Wiley's age. It's how long Kiki has been dead. The last time this came up, Oscar was still alive. That's a loooooooooong game the writers were playing.
