I hate when people try to make characters forgive their abusers. I HATE it.

Elizabeth SHOULD NOT have to forgive Jeff and Caroline or whatever her fucking name is. It shouldn't matter that they happened to birth her. THEY abandoned her! THEY fucked with her head. Literally!

I'm so tired of "forgiving of abusers" storylines.

They fucking brainwashed her and gaslit her and drugged her and then abandoned her. For 25 years!

No calls. No letters. No nothing but some minor cyberstalking.

She was raped. Had three boys. Got married and widowed. Had her sons go through some traumatic shit. Went through traumatic shit herself.

Not a word from her parents. Not a word.

So why the fuck are they so gungho now? Because she accidentally ran into them looking for answers and she called out their bullshit? Like what no. You dont get to do that.

You dont get to fuck with your kids head and abandon her and then talk about "parenting mistakes" and a "kinship" you feel. Fuck no.

That's abuse. Psychological and emotional abuse and he and his wife, as doctors, should lose their licenses and their ability to talk or look at Elizabeth and her kids.

(I'm newer to GH, only started around 2018, but from what I've picked up, liz is one of the better characters. Even if she wasnt though, this shit shouldn't fly.)
