Summary: You were invited to your friend’s party. Feeling a bit intoxicated by the strong scent of alcohol, you decided to take a breather on the roof, and that was when a mysterious blond man found you there.

A/N: I had been thinking about a story like this with Luca in my mind, but never got the time to actually write it down. Since now that I have more spare time, I’ll be expressing more of these stories that I have thought of in my mind before POG!

“Y/N!!!” Your friend Scarle exclaimed before pouncing on you, wrapping her arms around you and pulling you into a tight hug. “Took you long enough to arrive.” You chuckled, “Sorry Scarle, I got caught in traffic. Oh yeah, I got you this” you said before handing her the pretty gift bag you were holding. “AAAAAAAA Thank you s much darling! Come on in, come on in.” Scarle squealed in excitement before you proceeded to enter the venue. The venue was decorated lavishly, with red curtains framing the cornice of the enormous room. Everyone was dressed in fancy clothes, while Scarle wore a glossy red dress. You greeted some other old friends before setting down your items and taking off your trench coat, revealing the [whatever type of dress you want] you had on. You were standing around a tall marble table with a group of your friends. They were drinking wine, the melodic sound of wine glass and laughter echoed throughout the room. You were starting to feel a bit lightheaded by the strong stench of alcohol that penetrated the area, so you decided to take a breather outside. Being careful not to trip, you climbed the stairs leading to the roof of the building. From the roof, you could view the beautiful night scenery of the city. It was windy there, your hair and the hem of you dress got picked up and blew along with the wind. While you were mesmerized by the gorgeous scenery, you didn’t notice that someone else also came onto the roof, until you heard a voice of a man behind you. You quickly whipped your head around and faced the man, and all you can say is that he was the most handsome man you have ever seen. His hair was the colour of golden silk, and he bears the most dazzling lavender irises. He was dressed in a white and gold striped suit, with an onyx black shirt underneath. Two necklaces adorned his neck, and a large fur coat was draped over his shoulders. And to top it off, a white fedora on top of his pretty head. “Are you alright?” he asked with a slightly tilted head. You turned your head away, flustered “Huh? O-oh! Yea… I’m alright…” you were feeling a bit embarrassed getting caught staring. He chuckled at how cute you looked. “Isn’t it beautiful?” he said after walking to stand next to you, admiring the view of the city. You hummed in agreement, lightly leaning against the railing. “Are you lonely?” you turned your head to look at him after he asked. You hesitated for a moment, you did feel a bit lonely, especially after seeing so many couples at the party. “Yea, a bit.” You responded. He chuckled, before extending his gloved hand to you and said “Then, lonely lady, shall we dance?” You felt your eyes widen a bit, and you lips slightly left agape. You looked back and forth between his hand and his pretty smile. Oh how he smiled so brightly at you, you swore you could ascend to the heavens right then and there. You slowly reached your hand towards him, and placed it on top of his. Gently, he dragged you to the center of the roof, and pulled you close towards him. “May I?” he asked whether you are comfortable with him placing his hand on your waist like a gentleman that he is. You nodded, and while he gently placed a hand on your waist, you placed both of yours on his shoulder. The next thing you knew, you both were dancing the whole night away. “I’m Luca by the way, Luca Kaneshiro.” “I’m Y/N L/N, nice to meet you, Luca.” “That’s a pretty name, it really fits you.” You looked away a bit flustered, but Luca held your chin with his gloved hands, slowly turning your head to face him. He shot you a gentle smile that made you heart race. You never expected anything like this to happen to you, you never did. But right now you could not get any happier. “Y/N,” “Hmm?” “May I get your number?” You were more than happy to do so.

everytime i see ling tongs dw9 design i feel like i won in the lottery cuz his design is so good i love it so much. long rant cringe incoming

it has dw5 vibes but more evolved and the colors go so hard too... and i like how its slimmer overall which fits his weapon (much more than 8 fit the 3 section staff, i love that outfit too cuz it looks so cozy and warm and hes toasty in his scarf and sweater paws. but it doesnt fit his move set using his legs it feels too bulky for that like getting in the way?) the other outfit i didnt like much (the colors clash so much like the pink green purple and dark blue? :/ bad palette) but then the samurai armor dlc was so good (and matching with gan nings which added 3 more years to my life. like when i saw the list before the release i was pogging when i saw that they both have a different description from others but same between each another)

i was so worried before the dw9 design reveals cuz theres always some letdowns and i was fully bracing for them to cut his hair short or come up with something not fitting him like the dw7 draft.. but those madmen made his hair twice as long i was winning and the outfit was an instant fave like my most fav was 8 then i just immediately pushed it aside. make room for 9 this is the best

i wonder what they cook up for 10 if its coming, if and when its coming..., i hope they introduce alternates/dlc too cuz more designs more fun.. i just dont know what they could do next so im just gonna hope it wont be shite but like i think i would live if they changed up his hair but its like some characters can go thru big changes but others have a more singular look so its just about lenght here. his ponytail is so cute i want them to keep it 😭 i also think if they changed his weapon they would probably be inclined to go with the armor-y look they drafted before which doesnt fit much imo, id rather have something similar to the current design but maybe with wider sleeves thats cute, and fingerless gloves!!!! please. and the long hair with middle part or side part im praying 🙏🧎

also i gotta mention gan ning here cuz he went thru a few hairstyles and i gotta say it was also a letdown that while they just reused his dw8 hair for 9, they cut off his mullet! which is my most fave thing! especially how its slightly darker at the longest part.. like man... cant have shit in the three kingdoms (i joke that what they cut off they gave to ling tong [insert after surgery meme wheres gan ning? who do you think gave you the extra hair])

but like for him idc what color or style they do, like surprise me but give him a mullet its funney and give him earrings/piercings and more bells. thats my base in the pyramid of needs like idk why they went with just one bell in the final design since the drafts had more (and also a really cool hairstyle) also remove the stupidass feathers (its nice in 8 kinda cuz more subtle and still keeps the feathers included somehow but i also loved how they just pinned them to his butt in 7 and also how over the top it was in 6 though those are like rooster feathers not goose lmaobut also idk where i read about him being connected to crows so its nice theyre black. also thinking about how one artist used to just draw him without them. boss move. and how sometimes they dont load in 9 in game like the console also hates them lmao)

Name: unknown, says to call them red

Age: unknown, looks around 20 but could pass for older. Definitely an adult and that’s all you’re getting

Sexuality: no<3

Gender: Gender apathetic, uses whatever pronouns are convenient at the time

Species: draconic hybrid, but percentage unknown, and refuses to talk about the other two parts

Origin: Unknown to anyone yet, but grew up in the underbelly of Mizu

Occupation: none, as of yet

Appearance

Skin tone: generally hard to tell as they aren’t usually the cleanest and have blood splashed on their body at almost all times, but she is fair skinned with dark scales splashed across her body. The scales, when they catch in the light, glint a dark red.

Hair color: black

Clothing style: leathers that cover their chest and the top portions of their legs, as their scales tend to rip cotton. Owns a corset and a jacket that he rarely wears, but keeps on him for sentimental reasons. He doesn’t wear shoes, as the claws on their feet don’t lend to it. In addition, when angry he often leaves scorch marks where his feet have been, though you wouldn’t know it based on his face.

Accessories: minimal, but a leather cord with a fang is always around their neck. Any attempts to touch it are met with violent retribution. The only other accessory always on their person, if not their body, is a pair of leather fingerless gloves and a set of bracers.

Scars: Numerous but faint. The largest one is on their right eye. Scales surround the eye, but there are missing ones that reveal pink skin underneath, never to grow scales again. Most scars, however, litter his hands, at the knuckles where the hard plated skin of their fingers fades into regular seemingly human skin. The scars here are faint and only visible on close inspection, but he often wears the gloves to hide them.

Wings: the most notable part of her given the state of them. It’s clear that she used to be able to fly, once upon a time, but now she can’t. Her left wing is intact, with small rips in the membrane towards the bottom, but the right wing is gone. All that’s left is remnants of where the wing and the shoulder used to meet. Any attempts to stand behind them on their right side is met with anger and claws. 

Misc details: Very few are close enough to notice the small ruby laid into the top of the dragon tooth, but it is there. It’s the cleanest and most well kept thing he has. He almost always keeps his wing up and back when he’s not using it for stealth, but sometimes he will flex it, like he’s testing to see if it’s still there.

Personality

Childhood: to be revealed

Before the syndicate: They rarely if ever divulge information about themself unless absolutely necessary.. They aren’t in the syndicate right now, rather they lurk on the edges of it. never quite entering, always watching. He's seen people leave and enter, and has no desire to get himself involved in a worship of false gods and rewritten history. 

But there's a pull to this place regardless. A hunger that settles in their gut when they look at this place, that is matched only by the cold anger in their heart. They want to know of the things these people study. She wants to know what they do, wants to compare it to the falsified lies of his past home. 

Maybe it'll be better, maybe it'll be worse. Regardless their curiosity grows, and they can always claw and bite their way out. He's done it before, after all.

Syndicate: not yet joined

Hobbies: they do not have the time for hobbies now, always watching, surviving. Any hobbies they did have are not to be enjoyed anymore, hiding as they are. But they often fiddle with their hands, and it almost looks like they’re turning the pages of a book.

Skills: they are very, very good at hunting. Though they will use weaponry if necessary, they’ve always preferred getting their hands dirty either with their claws or a knife they keep stored in their bracers. She’s managed to learn how to use her wing as a stabilizer to keep her weight off the ground, and she’s capable of sneaking up on just about anyone. In addition, they are capable of blending in, no matter the background or who she’s around.
