Allow me to introduce a popcross fic This fic dose include one of my headcannons about the Sharpgamg in general and this is set some point after the "Not so Adorable Delug Community Redraw ep"

Benny did not expect to find The others once he awoke he had assumed they were all on missions or some sort of wacky adventures and that they wouldn't return for awhile and he was all to tired to try and figure out where they had went.

He had just finished up his newest Mechs for some certain clients who wanted a vary of different types. The first wanting a green and Black spotted Mech with explosives The second wanting a sort of tall black purple eyed puppet mech that could teleport or just move to another spot quickly.

But that would be a story for another time what was happening right now was that Benny was Exhausted from testing his newest mechs and didn't plan on any adventures Today so he decided to lay on the flat mattress that had been laid out on the ground for whenever they have movie nights and take what he thought would be a quick nap.

His eyes were still shut but the weight on his lower body was Heavier then what he felt when he went to sleep, He reluctantly opened his eyes to avoid any sunlight or light in general only to realize it must have been close to 8 or 9 o'clock, That and the fact most of his team had been laying on his stomach and legs.

Benny mind was both slightly shocked and still sleepy, from what it looked like Ana and Jake must have found him and layed ontop of him first then Mara Tayren and Sterling all finding them and decided to lay next to them.

Benny was a bit Shocked at first but then only gave a soft chuckle as he tried his best to slither his legs out from under the pile successfully managing to free himself without waking the others but being given a few grunts and groans as a reaction.

He began to turn and leave as he felt a hand tighten around his leg causing him to stop and look down to who had 'caught' him.

"Bn ji" A muffled pronunciation of his name was muttered from one of the youngest of his colleagues, Ana to be specific.

"Hm what is it kid?" Benny softly whispered trying not to wake the others still wanting to know what Ana wanted crouching down to her level."

"Don't go" Ana Tiredly mummered barely awake with there eyes still closed.

"I'll only be gone for a second to grab some blankets kid I'll be right back okay?" Benny Whisperd back reassuring them as they gently rustled a bit of their hair pushing it out of there face.

Their lossend hand fell and was tucked away fom Bennys ankle.

"Mm-tokay dad" Ana oblivious and sleepily mummerd falling back into a deep snooze leaving Benny in a suprised state, Picking himself up and bringing himself to the storage closet to find what blankets he could.

Some of the spare blankets they had were given to Harold the cowboy Gooby or 'Archibald' and Zashchitnik managed to capture who was locked up in one of the spare rooms but Benny managed to still find some.

They had picked up a few of the blankets tucking it under his arm before Abruptly stopping. His hand gripped at the blanket and shelf as his head was lowered down on it.

His eyes were pushed into the Soft blanket and if it were not for the Fuzzy coat of the fabric tears would most definitely be seen trailing down. His teeth clenched shut and he wanted to bite at the wood of the shelf itself.

He didn't deserve this team he did bad things in his past and he knows it and had manage to somewhat move past it but little things and memories would linger.

'What if something comes back and hurt them' 'What did I do to deserve such good people'

What did The Sharpgang do to deserve terrible or deciesed parents leading them to see him as a Father, Benny thought to himself his hand that was gripping the shelf now gripping his hair as he stayed there for about a minute before calming himself down and returning to the pile as if nothing had happened.

He dropped the fluffy fabric over his teammates who were deep asleep Cuddling against each other and holding onto one another.

It reminded him of cats curling up together giving him a small noticeable smile as he stepped back to give the sleeping pile some more space.

"Exciting day I guess you guys had?" A gruff quiet voice remarked a two arms wrapping around Benny's shoulders and chest one being mechanical.

"Champ? What are you doing here?" Benny questioned turning to look at there partner who had rested their head on there Shoulder, not that he was upset he was their.

"You haven't responded to my texts in the last four hours witch is unusual for you so I assumed you were kidnapped or busy and I decided to check on you" Champagne confirmed looking towards the pile of sleeping kids.

"It's like 8:52 Why would I respond at a time like this?" Benny teased giving a small kiss to the taller man.

"Were both Insomniacs benny" Champange declared returning the kiss.

"True can't argue with that" Benny agreed placing his head against Champanges softly before turning back to look at the pile.

"? What's wrong and don't even try to deflect the question" Champange interrogated.

Benny opened his mouth prepared to make up some sort excuse only to leave his voice missing as he sighed, his head falling down.

"I don't really know myself I think? and... ah I can't really explain it." Or from the tone of his voice it was just that he didn't '`Want' to explain it.

"Well that sucks" Champange teased nudging Benny.

"-gasp- How dare you steal my personality" Benny dramatically reacted receiving a small chuckle from them and himself.

"Come on its almost midnight and we should sleep," Benny advises, dragging Champ over to the couch.

"Fine but only becuase The Sci-5 are on vacation and your team 'Knows' how to cook" Champange said tiredly with a barely noticeable smile.

"Atleast give them credit for trying" Benny commented laying into of champange dragging a blanket otop them, Feeling their chest raise and lower, the sharpgang would most definitely find them but that didn't matter they mostly already know..

Well... except maybe sterling.

popcross characters in a zombie apocalypse, cause why not.

this will be a "get bit and you turn after a while" type zombie apocalypse.

Benny: would definitely try and keep peoples morals and hopes up, but keeps a gun in his back pocket with at least one bullet just incase he starts turning. if he has more than one bullet, the others are all marked and are made to be a quick and painless killer for a respective person.

Champagne: trying to figure out a cure for all this. if benny got bit, probably would've dragged him away before he could shoot himself mid zombie hoard chase, without knowing that he got bit. if managed to keep benny pre-occupied till the very last moment, then might try to find a cure quicker to help him.

Mikayla: gonna be honest, probably bitten. would be one of the first in that case. kept somewhere partially for research, charlie is able to knock her out or at least keep her down so that way the others aren't hurt.

Tayrun: very sad about kayla being bit, when not out scavenging spends time just ranting to kayla for a bit. but when he is out helping the others gather resources he is quite skilled, constantly using his usual blade to push back entities coming too close.

Astra: sorta stays back and makes sure the base is safe to come back to. would be very dangerous to get bit, especially if dragon.

Kate: survived this long because she's used to infectious entities trying to kill her, this time though she has people she's trying to keep safe as well.

Coșmara: seems to be immune to being bit, still avoids it.

{this is being written much later than the above...}

Vasilia: *doom slayer music intensifies*

Skinner: being bit or not, he's still functioning the same.

Jake: Kate won't let him attempt to heal any of their turned allies, in fear of him becoming a zombie. fair, cause then they'd lose their healer.

Ana: constant panic

Heath: uses wind powers to keep enemies away from base, but when out in the field he's mostly there to reign in Vasilia.

Alexis: focuses on finding materials

Sterling: another person that prefers to stay at the base.

Archibald: peaced out of the universe very quickly.

additional note: i got a drawing all ready to explain some more details.

literally got called out on his bs! and just the pure change in demeanor from any of the other times we've seen him act since the were jaguar! in the weird jumbled up christmas episode he was just enjoying time with champagne, and in the angry birds as dinosaurs episode he seemed off, perhaps because the gopher has teleported to the apartment before? idk, still such a nice thing that we're actually getting background on benny's issues!!!

he might just refer to gooby as Archibald, due to that... shocking encounter, in front of the others and they'll just stare at him sorta like: "uhhh... why have you been calling the gopher that????"

also i wonder what they'll do with harold since he's just kinda vibing and waiting for elloise loidum to show up! {why did this episode give me ideas of elloise not being a terrible overseer but actually being that villain that will destroy your universe if you say something rude to their henchmen?}

and bashetnik (or is vashetnik?) has made friends with the gopher! hopefully they get to hangout at random together!! maybe a spin off where the two are narrating the ai videos! since y'know, l o n g b u f f a l o

side note: is everyone in the sharp tank just there for their therapy session???? name one person that doesn't have some kind of problem or trauma. i freaking dare you.

Vasilia: very irresponsible, he is learning however.

Tayrun: he's very interesting! and the things he does- past me would've dropped dead at the thought of that being possible.

Astra: apparently it takes a lot to upset him, also god damn them mechs.

Heath: he has... strange ideas.

Sterling: i still don't know what his problem with gooby is..

Alexis: i don't know what goes through his head, frankly i don't think anyone would be able to comprehend it.

Champagne: i never knew someone could have more problems than me, and still be seen as happy go lucky..

Mara: he dislikes the demon world alot, it's... probably because of the coalition.

Kayla: he says i'm the best roller skater and that that's something because he worked with someone who was enlisted in a professional roller skater???

Charlie: tells me not to worry but-

gooby: (he drowned me. what do you want me to say? that he's a perfect individual? nah. if it weren't for everyone here being either lawful or good, he would've snapped ages ago.)

benny: alright, you want to talk. the other 2 have passed out and zashchitnik is in their own dimension.

archi(pouring a glass of wine): good good. brief starter question, do you drink?

benny: nah, literally not allowed to by any of my family. and cham started agreeing with them after i introduced him for some reason..?

archi: hmm.. i'll have to look into that later...

benny(pouring a glass of water): if i hear from any of em that a gopher harassed em i will start "messing up" on tech i give you.

archi: and here i thought you were done with pointless threats!

benny: no, i'm giving you a chance while still being ready to make stew.

archi: make stew...? never mind. i have different questions, and things i've noticed.

benny(finally taking a seat): like what?

archi: that for one, your pain tolerance is high only because you've been hit and torn apart so much you can't feel low pain levels. and-

benny: blah blah, i already know. and you were going to say i wasn't letting that jake kid heal me because then i would feel things.

archi: hmm.. good you do have some sort of awareness.

benny: please. this is a skit done by someone that draws me as a dog getting the absolute garbage beaten out of it.

archi: ... i swear you make no sense...

benny: if only ya knew..

archi: anyways, in that case... why do you keep calling yourself the "pillar of morality" if you have almost no morals of your own.

benny: ...

archi: glad to see i found something you didn't-

benny: you do realize that someone out there was always the first person to come up with things. our group was not the first one to say killing was immoral.

archi: ... i may need more info than-

benny: like there is a chance some more specific morals are made from specific occasions. for instance don't cheat at cards then run away bleeding out while being hunted only to get found by a blob who will later have your location, cause otherwise you'll be dealing with all kinds of goons from there.

archi: that is... really specific.

benny: but the more vague ones... what could they mean? no killing.

archi: no killing isn't vague-

benny: some children find joy in watching ants get burned, or those really bad villains suffering off screen.

archi: well-

benny: and we generate cells that die in... like 3 years? did i get that right?

archi: now let me spea-

benny: you don't know either you just searched it up and it said 100000 cells die every second? oof. guess we'll never know!

archi: who are you talking to???

benny: continuing! we kill plants so we can nourish ourselves. my point is, murder is more specific because that means something that means something died.

archi: ffffffffffine i guess you're right. but that doesn't change the fact the only reason you have "morals" is because of the others.

benny: yeah.

archi: just.. just "yeah" is your answer????

benny: let me explain it in a way i've scrapped together. i am a code.

archi: ???

benny: each of my morals are a different kind of code. people are connected to bits of it. you take out a strip of code and the entire program will either still work without it, or it'll be reduced to a functionless mess.

archi: well... i guess that does make sense.

benny(glaring at archibald): which means, if you kill enough of the right people, i will lose those morals. eventually deciding to just delete all of them, and gutting whoever decided to get on the wrong side of me or anyone else in the sharp tank.

archi: you're so problematic! yet you still don't tell the others..

benny: if you want to tell em, be my guest.

the loveliest drawing, for the first day of this chaos. next year is gonna have an extra day just so you know.

also! i got no idea how to edit the fandom wiki, it's very confusing and packed in like a tin of sardines. also, did you know there is a popcross wiki? that's where i've been getting my references for the character drawings! it's not complete however... lots of important things missing.
