At the @outriderspresent Under the Big Sky Festival last weekend they offered a nice selection of Montana craft beer. I will not go into every one but their offerings were @kettlehouse @greatnorthernbrewing @bigskybrewing @biasbrewing @westerncider @bayernbrewing @draughtworks @tamarackbrewing The beertenders were a few familiar faces from Great Northern and they were very busy! There were two sides to this beer setup but only one for a crowd of reportedly 15,000. Though it was centrally located I think another brew station would have been appropriate. Beers were $8-9 which for a festival is fairly decent, my only gripe is that the cups definitely looked a little small (12 oz max), which may be because of MT brew laws but this was not a brewery and there was no 48 oz per customer limit. They required different colored 21+ wrist bands for each day which is a good thing. The beer was cold and on the first day I had the Bias Hazy Pineapple IPA (which is very new) and Great Northern's Fred's Black Lager. The second day I stuck to Kettlehouse's Cold Smoke Scotch Ale, which is practically an obligatory Montana beer offering at this point.
