Apart from the blue lounge standing on its end on the right, there is nothing remarkable about this alley near Sydney’s Central Station Railway except it’s name - I’ve always been fascinated by Outram Street.
So I went digging, it was originally named Outtrim Street after Daniel Outtrim, Chief Engineer at nearby Tooth’s Brewery.
