If Greyson's heartbeat got any louder, surely the Cortez's would start complaining about the noise themselves. There was no way Maisie couldn't hear it. Hell, she could be deaf, but he was sure his delighted yesterday taken aback expression adequately conveyed what was happening in his chest. He wouldn't be surprised if she could feel the flicker of panic that coursed through him immediately after.

He'd never shared a bed with another girl. Well, okay, not romantically. And he definitely knew that Maisie wasn't inviting her to have sex under the same roof as her parents and her siblings that still lived there...but still. What if he, like, got a little too excited with her being so close to him? Greyson knew he wasn't in control of these sort of things, but he already was already overthinking of all the things that could make his girlfriend realize she wasn't interested in him anymore.

When he realized he hasn't said anything in almost a minute, his mind still racing, he grimaced before smiling weakly. "I doubt mine will, either." He admitted, grinning a bit deeper. He could almost envision his mom's giddiness, almost pitied the way his dad wouldn't hear the end of it tonight. Our Greysie! She'd shake his shoulders theatrically, then search for Allison and anyone else in the house who would entertain her. He's fallen in love!

"There's no harm in pretending they said yes while we wait for them to, though." Greyson's voice was ever so gentle, almost as if he was trying not to sound suggestive. He was ready to get into bed and pretend it was theirs for the moment, but also the mere idea made his heart want to spring from his chest. Man, he had it deep for Maisie Carlisle. "So...should we start with facials or skip right to a movie and cuddling?"
