#guild battle limited costume

Hello there, Geats fans! I realize this is a bit unusual, but I'd like to begin today's episode of a tokusatsu program about a reality show that exploits the masses and its own employees for the entertainment of a bunch of futuristic yuppies to talk about something I feel is important.
I'll keep this as brief as I can, but lately you may have heard about the Writer's Guild of America going on strike over the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (made up of production studios under such companies as Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Sony) cutting the income of writers by means of decreasing residuals given from streaming and other conditions such as employment security. This strike, let me be entirely clear, is right. Not only do these writers deserve far more money and job security than Hollywood is willing to give them, but multi-billion dollar corporations like Netflix, Warner Bros., and Disney can and should be made to pay employees more money, and this could set a precedent for other underpaid people involved with all your favorite productions to have their livelihoods enhanced too. From my limited perspective at least, the WGA's requests could only be good for everyone involved. And if other unions get involved like the Director's Guild of America and
I'd also like to mention that you could see a massive increase of reality TV, as that previously occurred due to various AMPTP studios basically punishing the WGA back in the late oughts by rendering them unnecessary, especially with the rise of AI these companies seek to use far more extensively. And I don't know if you remember, but 2000s reality TV is some of the most exploitative shit I've ever seen, so the idea of it returning backed up by internet techbros makes me wretch.
I'm unfamiliar with Japanese screenwriting standards, but I do realize that Toei is hardly spotless when it comes to treating writers poorly (*cough* Hibiki *cough*), but hopefully this opens up some eyes in Japan as well. All over the world, even, because this is not nor has it ever been an American exclusive issue.
Right, so, I apologize this was so rambling, but TL;DR: The WGA are entirely justified in their efforts in getting the writers of your favorite shows paid more, and you definitely should not be supporting the exploitative reality shows that'll come out in the wake of writers just wanting a decent income.
Anyways, back to that (fictional) exploitative reality show I talk about every week~! I hear this episode leaked last week, so I've been burying my head in the sand to avoid it.
Spoilers, I guess...
-Buffa's Victory Lap has hit some screeching brakes.
-Ace, you're a movie star, right? I know for a fact you'd stand with the WGA.
-Oh man, we're fucking cooking with Geats. I see you, I see you~!
-Mmm, that's a tasty shot.
-Boosted in the dirt.
-Hot damn, Ace!
-Goodbye, Game Master Chirami. You were funny... and that's all the nice things I can say about you.
-Whoaaaaa, invisible arms?
-Oooooh, that's cool
-I realize it's a simple chroma key effect on the costume, but it looks really good.
-Ace has hit his mad arc.
-I... don't think a Berserker Form is in the cards, but expect to be more terrified an orange and white fox than I think you can.
-Welcome back to the Desire Royale.
-Still wanna know what the deal is with Tsumuri and the 40X Magnum Shooter.
-Suel! Our final boss.
-Let the game begin.
-An ultimate Rider Battle.
-Oh fuck, Daichi!
-Desire Royale.
-Oh shit, Ace remembered the movie. Therefore he remembers Ikki and Vice too.
-I actually watched Movie Battle Royale a few days ago.
-It was okay. The action was pretty good, getting to meet up with the Igarashi Fam was nice, Sakura chasing Neon was cute and funny, Kagero getting so terrified of Keiwa's demon was super cool, that's the kind of thematic carry over I like to see.
-I liked Seeker, he was cool, but the whole movie would've been way cooler if it was just all these characters I like interacting with each other in a way more dangerous version of the typical DGP games from that point in the season. They also really should've built on the idea of Ikki and Vice using the Desire Drivers for everybody to pick them up, I think Asakura would've loved the Water Buckle.
-Also, seeing Knight's suit in such crappy condition kinda made me sad, and they really fucked with Ren's character by making him this generic brute. Didn't like that at all. Asakura's writing wasn't that much better, but I did like him terrifying Vice, that was epic of him. Ryuga... also could've been done way better.
-Also, what was the point of Balidero and Izangi? Like, as villains.
-Big, big losers. Beroba seems to like this direction, at least.
-Hello, Kekera!
-"Bring back my boy. I'll stir up trouble for you."
-Don't do that, man.
-Nooooo, Keiwaaaaaa
-Sara-neesan... :(
-Excuse me, sweetheart- "Geeeeeh!"
-"I'm a frog! Obviously! Sakurai Keiwa, you want him back?"
-Oooooh, you dirty motherfucker.
-Holy shit
-He came right back.
-"Uhhhh, don't worry~!"
-She bought Kekera! At an... antique shop. In an... abandoned strip mall. In Okinawa.
-...this reminds me, I once saw a piece of fanart that depicted Kekera in the style of frogs in Amphibia. If I find it again, I'll reblog it.
-Traaaaaash!
-Sara-neesan's a magical girl, and Kekera's her fairy.
-What's your gameplan her, frog man?
-Well, at least Kyuun's trying.
-Miss Neon...
-A world that forgot about Kurama Neon.
-That hurts me a little.
-You do exist :(
-Hello, Tsumuri-neesan.
-"Is it the goddess? Or the executives? Or my cool big sister? :>"
-She didn't deny it. Let's go, found family.
-You may have been a tremendous accomplice, but you do have a chance to make things better.
-Too late, you didn't deny it the first time!
-Set her free.
-That's his ultimate wish.
-Hoooo boy.
-A nice little river.
-Sara-san!
-Neon-chan!
-"Hah! I knew it~!"
-What he doesn't know won't hurt him, huh Nee-san?
-Daichi-kun~!
-Gotta gamble.
-KEKERA JUMPSCARE
Daichi: Keiwa Sakurai, Kamen Rider Tycoon. You're his big sister, hmmm~?
Sara: Ding ding ding! :D
-I guess as a big sister herself, Nene Shida would kinda channel her own little sister's incredible looks of shock.
-Time to kick his ass.
-Oh that's cute
-Okay, that's not an otter, that's not a cat, that's a civet! What looks to be a masked palm civet. They're apparently everywhere on the Indian subcontinent and throughout Southeast Asia.
-They're in the same suborder as cats and otters at least, so that's a neat way of tying her Rider form to Neon and Keiwa's. There's also an endangered species known as the otter civet, which exists in Malaysia and Indonesia.
-Ooooh, down she goes.
-"There she goes~!"
-"Go play the game, boy. You'll save her."
-Daichi's about to commit a revenge.
-Oooooh!
-In comes Tycoon!
-Otter boy strikes!
-Beroba's a squatter.
-Boom!
-In comes Buffa.
-Geats with the save!
-Straight to Mark II.
-"Tanuki soba tastes nice, Buffa. You should try it sometime."
-"Thanks. I guess."
-Ooooooh...
-There it is. The divide.
-"You leave my mom out of this!"
-Who is writing these damn rules?
-Ah, yep! The Nadge-Sparrow trap.
-The action continues into next week.

Legend of The Duskgloom Sea: The Black Pearl Islands
Tumblr media
⛴ Welcome aboard the Silent. I assume this small one is yours?
⚙️ HEY! I’M NOT SMALL!
⛴ That would be a yes. Since it’s clear that you’re also headed for the Black Pearl Islands, allow me as one of Captain Caviar’s First Mates to show you the ropes of this vessel. In order to shove off, the crew needs their rations. 15 Stamina Jellies from your inventory should do. Once we supply the food onboard, we’ll be ready to set sail.
Tumblr media
Navigation
⛴ Navigating the Duskgloom Sea ain’t an easy task-
⚙️ -but the user interface is SUPER friendly. Just double-click on a highlighted square with those yellow arrows to move forward! The crew will do the rest.
⛴ As you move, the Silent has a limited durability before we need to return back to port. Moving through open seas will inflict 100 HP of damage, but moving through a whirlpool will inflict 200 damage. We can’t navigate through the rocky reefs, lest we beach the ship entirely. Encountering other sailors lost at sea can provide a bonus for you, although some are best left as they are when they’re too far of a detour.
If you wanna repair the ship, we’ll usually need to find supplies using 4,500 Black Pearl Coins which you’ll find throughout these islands to patch a few leaks and restore 1,200 HP on the Silent, but who knows? Maybe you’ll find someone that’ll do it for free. Once your durability goes too low and you try to sail your way out, and we’ll need to turn back and that’s the end of your voyage. If you wanna head back sooner, click that “Drop Anchor” button on the lower-left and we’ll head back to count our cargo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Battles
⛴ So, you claim to be a champion in battle? We’ll test that claim and then some. Hostile forces like those from dry land will line some of these islands in a simple two wave encounter. Best them all, and you win the battle with a bit of extra loot. If you lose too many times or attempt to retreat, those forces, real or not, will put a sizable hole in the ship for *500 damage.
*If you are facing the final boss at the end of the archipelago instead, admitting defeat will destroy the Silent instantly and end your voyage right then and there.
These battle scenarios come in Normal and Master flavors, but don’t provide a power level for either one. Obviously, the Master level is much harder and requires tact with a generous amount of luck, but the Black Pearl Coins and Sailing EXP you get are somewhere higher towards being doubled. There are some… conditions to mention first.
💔 Healing Down -60%
💥 Shield Durability Down -60%
🛡 Enemy Debuff Resistance +40%
⏫ Minimum Cookie and Skill Levels set to 60
❌ Bonuses from Toppings, Bonds, Costume Sets, Guild Levels, Relics, and the Sugar Gnome Laboratory WILL NOT WORK
⛴ Anyone who’s braved the fabled Giant Icing Ridge in the Dark Cacao Kingdom can survive this just as well, and we will run extra training drills for every Cookie aboard to ensure their preparedness for the battle ahead on the high seas. Unfortunately, the curse of the Duskgloom Sea renders your bonds from dry land all for naught, and the stormy seas will render your Gnomish Technology, Toppings, and even your Relics too soggy to work their magic.
To gain additional buffs here to fill the difference, you’ll need to find an Altar where you can unlock a bonus effect for your team. Higher-level effects require Black Pearl Coins to unlock, and you can swap the entire list for 750 Black Pearl Coins up to 3 times per shrine. You can only buy one buff per shrine, and these effects will vanish alongside your Black Pearl Coins after your voyage ends.
Finishing your voyage while you still have Black Pearl Coins will add them to your score alongside any additional applicable bonuses. Higher scores will place you in a higher rank which yields better rewards at the end of the season.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hidden behind the red haze, however, are massive foes on the lone islands that align the rocky gates of the Black Pearl Islands: Boss Islands. Unlike regular islands, the bosses that inhabit these islands will actively block your path and won’t let you go around. There’s only one way to go: fight and best the boss to advance. Every other combat condition applies, but do mind that they are all immune to stun and other similar forceful movement and immobilizing effects, and that they might have an additional augment to them.
Minigames
⛴ We’ve all seen ‘em. Those little games in the much bigger games, like that one game where a battleship tries to shell some folks off a teeterin’ island surrounded by squids while they fight to be the last one standing. There are two such minigames you’ll encounter: Creepy Treasure Island and Shocking Stormy Sea. The better you do in these games, the bigger the haul of Black Pearl Coins you’ll win on top of your base loot. If you lose too much or pull back, you’ll snag something that’ll deal 500 damage to the Silent instead. The Cookie you choose won’t affect anything in the game.
Tumblr media
In Creepy Treasure Island, you’ll go back to Cookie Run’s roots with a slightly top-down platformer level. No abilities. Just Coins. Use the Jump and Slide buttons to kebab and weave through the reefs and shells while collecting both regular Coins and Black Pearl Coins. You also have an Energy bar which drains passively as you run. Collide with something, and you’ll lose a bit of Energy, but you can restore some with occasionally-appearing Energy Potions. If you run out of Energy before finishing, or finish with less than the required Black Pearl Coins, you lose. Make it to the end of the level with enough Black Pearl Coins, and you win the game with whatever you got plus a base bonus.
In Shocking Stormy Sea, you’ll be running around on the Silent’s deck collecting Black Pearl Coins and dodging lightning. Use the virtual joystick on the left to move around, and the Dash button on the right to dash forward through any coins and out of the way of any lightning strikes… if done correctly. Get caught in the highlighted circular impact zones, and you’ll take lightning damage aside from the passive Energy drainage. If you run out of Energy, you lose. Outlast the timer, and you win the game and your Coins.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mysterious Chests
⛴ Rumors also tell of mysterious chests like this one on isolated islands. You can tell where they are from anywhere on the map from the golden auras they give off when entrenched with the archipelago’s thick fog. They come laden with high-end treasures that you could use back in your own Cookie Kingdom… as long as you have a Duskgloom Key to open it.
There’s a few places to find ‘em, like events and stuff and the Gallery found in your Trade Harbor. Those are free for anyone. For the time being, however, unscrupulous merchants can and will sell you a few with a whole lotta other stuff in a bundle if you’re willing to fork over some of your own real money.
Tumblr media
⚙️ That’s gonna be all for this event because this ship’s horizontal slanting traverse is making me feel waaaaaaaaay off-balance. HEY! YOU’RE DOING THAT ON PURPOSE AREN’T YOU-

Backgrounds With Class: Druid
Some classes and backgrounds mesh naturally, from a conceptual standpoint.  Soldier and Fighter, Entertainer and Bard, Sage and Wizard.  But backgrounds aren’t class-restricted, and so I wonder what it would look like if you paired every class with every background, even the ones that seem at odds, like Sage and Barbarian, or Outlander and Wizard.  So I thought about it, and this is what I came up with. Some character concepts for each class, and each Player’s Handbook background for each class.
Druid
Druid is another class that often falls prey to a limited conceptual range.  A lot of folks see ‘druid’ and are immediately in the mind of someone who hates cities and spends no time there- fundamentally, even, someone who is not a part of society as much as apart from it.  But at its heart, the druid is just someone whose connection is to the movements of nature, be it the stars above or the earth below or all that dwells in between.  People are part of that, animals as much as lesser beasts.  So I tried to keep these people…connected, for the most part, to other people.
The Acolyte Druid has been brought up to follow in the footsteps of Echidna her whole life.  The animal side, the savage side, is sacred to the Mother of Monsters, so she channels the will of the Mother and brings out her own beast- changing her own form as and when she can as sacrament.  Her clan roams the wilds of Eastwall through the Dragon’s Head Peninsula, so her favored forms are bear, hawk, or whale.
The Charlatan Druid is a representative-in-training of his aerie to the interests of the Dragon’s Head Jarls.  A skilled liar, cheat, and impostor, he represents the interests of the ravens, crows, and magpies of his homeland alongside those of his fellow kenku. Raised to the trade by a parent he only barely knows, he’s spent a lot of time training the crows to rob for him, the ravens to listen, and his own aerie to emulate the dynamics of a flock in flight- only together can they keep their position as caretakers of the dead.
The Criminal Druid has served her guildmaster as a spy in court since her youth. Minding the Houses of Parliament in Tetch takes wit, skill, and an indispensible talent of some kind- in her case, horoscopy and star-reading.  It’s not a front, though; the stars truly do speak to her, and always have, a talent her peers view with supersitious affection.  More than one heist in the dark house of a parlimentarian has gone off cleaner for her fortune-telling- or the skin of stars she pulls to herself in desperation.
The Entertainer Druid has always loved the theater.  The drama appeals to them, and the concept of identity as being a fluid thing, a costume or mask or makeup to be donned or shucked as they will, seems more right yet.  Even their form bends to the needs of the theater- half of their credits are in the form of some animal or other, brought to embolden or menace without the danger of taming a true beast.  That they feel just as right wearing another skin as their own feels right- a performance of self.
The Folk Hero Druid stole from those she should never cross- her connection is to the shadowed times of day, the twilight and dawn, the hidden crossings between this world and the Feywild.  From the greater fey of the land past the mushroom rings comes her power and connection to the land, a connection she cultivates with glee.  Healing talent in hand and yeth hounds firmly on her tail, her circle has ever emboldened the people of nearby towns to battle back the quicklings, redcaps, and worse that cross the boundary.
The Guild Artisan Druid was always going to be a wanderer- his people spend their time on the Great Ocean, sailing from island to island and navigating by the stars.  He’s walked the path of the mapmaker and star-chart maker ever since his youth, at the feet of kin and clan.  It was natural that the movement of sea, sky, and heavens beyond should be his greatest love, the one that inspires him to twist opal into his beard in constellation patterns and put ink to fiber-cloth to mark maps like his master.
The Hermit Druid has, by most measures, fallen from grace and into the arms of their people’s greatest foe.  They’ve betrayed the rigors of civilization and mountainside for the lush, verdant growth of the jungle and the grasping one-ness of the Greenmind. Still, their connection is a subtle one, so they can walk either path- at least until they bloom again, bringing the choking pollen and poison spores of the deep jungle to life in themselves.
The Noble Druid serves the Lords of Life, a triton engineered from humans and merfolk to serve as border patrol and transitory nobility.  That background of living on the border, in a house half above and half below the water, has taught her that somethings can be neither here nor there, a lesson that serves her well when she takes to political matters. It’s also formed the basis of her druidic practice, half here on the material, and half somewhere else- a somewhere of crepuscular beauty and danger.
The Outlander Druid never saw a house before they were a juvenile, and never entered a settlement larger than a campsite before adulthood.  Raised by unusually Circle-ardent parents and blessed with hermaphroditism as many lizardfolk are, their society is the beasts that snake and crawl and swim and fly and creep through their marshland home, the alligator and panther and caiman their inspiration.  Being a part of that system, feeling the land, is as natural to them as breathing, their magic easier than speech.
The Sage Druid wanders the savannah and desert, traveling the great distances needed to access the roaming libraries of her people on foot.  As learned of paper and tablet as the print of the elephant and the cry of the secretary-bird, she is the one to speak to if you have a question about the natural world and its rhythms- or something to hide.  She knows well that the vast open grassland is as much a hiding place as any labyrinthine library.
The Sailor Druid hails from a place where every rock, every stream, every tree, and every bay has a spirit, and they speak with mortals easily and often without prompting.  Having served on a dryad’s oak-turned-galleon, he knows that sometimes the spirits go wandering- and all you can do is attend to your captain.  He’s saved his ship from threat of storms, begged the sea for fish to save them from starvation, and even asked the sky for rain to drink, but insists he’s only intermediary to the spirits, and his magic their gift.
The Soldier Druid grew up in a land torn by war.  After a spell-fire turned into a wildfire that incinerated his home and burnt their fields, he thought he’d seen its worst- until after he enlisted, and returned to his old home to find wildflowers growing in his fields and creepers and trees sprouting from the ruins of his home.  Now, he burns for the army, having brought a fire of his own to heel, and trusts that he can grow what he torches again- better, greener, and stronger.
The Urchin Druid has only known what it is to stay dry a few times in his life. In his home in Gengsok, it rains constantly, all the year round but worst during the wet season.  Life in the poorest neighborhoods is a constant battle against vermin seeking a drier environment and that which grows on everything that gets wet.  As a teenager, he learned the virtue of surrender- allowing mold to grow in his hair and befriending the low creatures that crept in the night for shelter.

I'm hearing people mention the future of Online Kingdom Hearts and honestly I would LOVE a KH MMO. Imagine Union X but without the medals and in a 3D environment. The ideas are already there, costumes on a base character that you collect items to customize with, raid bosses, not to mention guilds or unions.
0.2 already started the customizable options in 3D, they'd just have to build on it. Imagine Union X and 0.2 as experiments for the real thing.
Tumblr media
It could be like Toontown and attract those past fans. Disney Town is more or less already Toontown's environment anyway, that could be the minigame portion.
I don't want it to just be KH but multiplayer but I don't want it to be FF14 gameplay either, I would miss the fast paced gameplay. So what I vouch for is a hybrid, no command deck or command menu but have specific slots for potions, ethers and strengtheners like FF14 then have button prompts for attacks just like a normal KH game. I think Genshin does something similar but don't make the enemies so spongey.
Mirage Arena could even be a place people could go to grind or practice and maybe mix in the Colosseum.
Tumblr media
I'd like houses but I haven't figured out how that'd work yet because I'd love to live in Twilight Town but it seems like a self insert, I would have to suggest limiting it to where you can either have a few central buildings in certain areas where it works like an apartment or have it take place in Scala or Daybreak Town, maybe even Hollow Bastion since there are a lot of buildings already there, waiting to be inhabited. We could still have the train from Twilight Town though, it could take you anywhere, works as fast travel rather than having whole Gummi Ship sections.
Tumblr media
Just please don't make a Battle Royale.

Fairy Tail Game Final Thoughts
67 hours in and I’ve gotten all achievements, all my characters are maxed with max bonds and I’ve limit broken half the characters (limit broken Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, Erza, Jellal and Gray TWICE).
The only thing for me to really do is look for all the special Unison Raids :)
Not all the partnerships have specially animated Unison Raids. The only ones I’ve found so far are the Jerza, Nalu and Gruvia ones (the Gruvia one having been the plot one anyway).
I’m guessing that Lucy and Juvia will have their canon one, Sting and Rogue, Wendy and Sherria...maybe Natsu and Gray?
But Wendy and Erza DON’T. Neither does Lucy and Erza, Lucy and Jellal, Natsu and Wendy, Erza and Natsu or Mira and Laxus.
Gameplay wise, there isn’t much left for me to do. But I do have the catalogue of all the bond dialogues and the FMVs I can rewatch at lesiure!
Good timing for this game to release when I had two weeks off work hahahaha!
Mini review: As a huge Fairy Tail fan, I loved all the character stuff we got. Some of it was a little flanderised (particularly Juvia and her love for Gray, which they really went over the top with and didn’t spend enough time NOT bringing him up during her character moments-a lot like the anime used to do, and also Wendy and her despair over having a small chest (which ewwwww she’s a child stop it)) but overall they had a really good grasp of the characters, the relationships AND also gave us some nice moments between characters we don’t see interact that much.
But I really wish the plot hadn’t been an adaptation of the source. It should have been an original story. I did like how the magic skills evolved and unlocked mostly through the story (rather than through levelling up as in a traditional RPG) which obviously they could only do through retelling the actual plot. But they could have easily worked around that (magic dohicky at the beginning takes all their power and they slowly regain as time goes by...maybe you could have even done optional levels to unlock specific magic again by replaying scenes from the manga and fighting the associated bosses-like fighting a memory).
The gameplay was actually really fun. I turned off battle animations when farming to speed things up, but otherwise I really liked the way the fights looked and I loved how the magic worked (with different areas of effects, elements, power, secondary attributes etc.)
There are some UI issues (having to go back to the request board between every single quest instead of being able to stack a few is annoying), and there is some repetitiveness-particularly with the enemies. There are around 10 non-boss enemies and they get pallette swapped for more variety.
But the biggest, biggest drawback is when they didn’t adapt a part of the story and you get anime screenshots and Lucy narrating and telling you what they missed. Like, really? They also didn’t model some characters and used anime screenshots for when they can’t completely remove them from the plot (HISUI). It makes the game look REALLY CHEAP in those places. Like something you’d expect from a mobile phone game and not a full blown platform release. Which is hugely disappointing because other parts of the game look so good.
I also feel like they rushed through way too much story. I felt like they could have focused completely on the GMG arc and done more with it alone (mini levels with the games they skipped and more fights) or done more work on the maps and levels and enemies. And then maybe release the next arcs as DLCs.
There are also a few clipping issues (Wendy’s hair and her alternate costume is particularly bad) and a lack of interactivity with the environment (you can’t enter a single building that isn’t the guilds/inn).
BUT...overall I really enjoyed the game. I enjoyed it as a Fairy Tail fan and I enjoyed it as a fan of RPGs. It’s not the best game that I’ve played, but it’s not done a bad job and it is certainly a nice addition to the franchise! I probably wouldn’t have played it (certainly not to 100% completion) if I wasn’t a Fairy Tail fan but I don’t think the fandom needs to be ashamed of it :)

Guild Member Name: Atlas
Face Claim: Samuel Larsen
Age: 23
Species: Human (Soul and mind is bonded to Mt.Olympus)
Powers & Abilities: Greek Deity Physiology - Atlas has the ability to call upon the physiology of Greek deities. He is able to harness the power of a singular deity at a time, for example calling upon Zeus would produce electrokinesis, air manipulation, weather manipulation, and sky manipulation. If he wishes to call upon another deity then those abilities disappear and are replaced with the concurrent power of said god/goddess. The strength of the powers are not as incredible as an individual who has control only over that specific ability. Atlas has about average control over each of the powers. Using this ability for long periods of time at full power takes a toll on his mind and body since he has to drain the power from Mt.Olympus and his mortal being cannot take that large amount of pure energy.
Backstory: Félix Merlo, better known as the hero Atlas, began his life being born into a family without hero genes. He was the only child of two normal middle class working parents who spent most of their time away while Félix busied himself with knickknacks found around the house. He quickly took an interest in reading and began immersing himself in stories of wonderful adventure and moral dilemmas. The books would quickly pass time away until his parents arrived home exhausted, quickly fed him a healthy heaping of takeout, and rushed him off to bed. Despite his interest in fiction he loved history books about the Greek Deities and sought after any knowledge about them that he could.
When he was seven his mother took him on a trip to the library that he would never forget. He had been excited for multiple reasons that day, he got to go on a rare outing with his mom and got to rent more books to read. Though, Félix had wandered off and stuck his nose where he didn't belong. A section of the library that was off limits to normal visitors. It held large ancient texts that were written in languages the young boy couldn’t understand. But by a stroke of luck, he came across a table that had a book open to a page titled “Mt.Olympus” which Félix had noticed right away. He hopped up upon the chair and ran his fingers across the pages, though a corner sliced into his thumb and a drop of blood landed on the paper. Félix panicked. He desperately tried to wipe away the red but the spot grew bigger, and bigger to the point that even a seven-year-old knew the size was too large to be normal. He tried to jump off the chair and run away crying for his mom but he couldn’t move, a large rush of electricity bolted through his body and his eyes began to glow a brilliant shade of gold. The next thing he remembers was waking up in the hospital weeks later surrounded by his crying parents.
Not long after his release from the hospital did his ability begin to surface, and it came in large waves. Once his parents realized that their child had been granted an ability by some higher being above they forced him to give up his childhood to train in order to be the next great hero. Félix first appeared as Atlas when the invasion occurred, using his power to take out large groups and protect civilians from being hurt. At first, people feared that Atlas was another alien who would turn on them at any second but he quickly proved his loyalty (and species) by providing constant support. At 21 he was invited into the guild after the war had been completed, and he took the chance without a second thought. A part of him was happy to get away from the grips of his parents but he still reeled from the loss of his childhood.
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good
Signature Move: Endures - Unlike most signature moves that produce a high-level attack that takes down opponents, Endures is used to restore all of Atlas’ stamina while also increasing the power of all attacks that come after it. This move is only used when Atlas has found himself unable to continue the battle through his own means and cannot be used again until he has let his body rest.
Extra Info:
Atlas’ sigil is a simple golden laurel wreath that looks as almost if it’s melting against a stark white background in order to make it pop.
Atlas’ costume is rather simple, a white aviator jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a laurel wreath that acts as a mask, and bronze jeans that are easy to maneuver in. Since some of his ability has him transforming parts of himself the design is simple enough to remake but also open enough to not be torn most of the time.
Atlas’ color scheme is gold, white, and bronze.
Atlas would have rather chosen to not have an arch nemesis because he finds people that have an obsession with him to be creepy. But, out of seemingly nowhere came a villain under the guise of Tartarus, which Atlas immediately thought was ridiculous because any self-respecting nerd would know that Tartarus worked with the Titans and would thus not go against Atlas. Tartarus’ goal is to sink society into a neverending hell as a punishment for all the wrongdoings in the world.
Atlas is the embodiment of the song: https://youtu.be/7I34zOUZCXM
Atlas is very aware of the age difference amongst himself and the other guild members, but he doesn’t let that stop him from expressing himself, which is usually done by jumping onto tables to dance or belting out a song. He does try to get the other heroes to join him and is ecstatic when they let down their guard long enough to play with him.
Atlas would never tell anybody but he’s constantly worrying about the safety of the other guild members and will get visibly excited once he learns that they have defeated a villain or returned safely.

The Seven Deadly Sins Cheats
The Seven Deadly Sins Guide
Tumblr media
The Seven Deadly Sins manual is a manual for warm new game. For example there was a hendrickson tale boss and people couldnt clear till they realised that they have got to apply sr tale heroes to kill him (makes it simpler). You can also use pal heroes to make your life easier however i wouldnt say it is paywalled since you just have to strategise. There are those who like to strategise in story mode and people who truely want competition in story mode so its a count of choice but if its difficult, the devs genuinely lessen the difficulty in a remember of every week or 2. after the first introductory tale scenes, you may play the function of meliodas and begin exploring the arena. The principle goal of this sport is to defeat the awful men, who need to harm the liones and the arena. However, we will method slowly which will capture the rhythm of the sport, as challenges will step by step emerge. First, complete the commands from the system. They may display you the way the main features, man or woman device, obligations, or the way to attack a monster. It's miles one of the maximum awaited video games of 2020 in the rpg category. It's miles a dynamic fight game that offers amazing animations at the side of a riveting storyline that is making all games streamers and informal game enthusiasts watch for their sport keenly. Although it'll be released quickly global, gamers of japan and korea were playing this sensational sport because it become launched in those nations in 2019. each the international locations have been swept due to the capabilities that it consists of and you'll be able to read all about it just below. You will also need to improve ultimates of pvp units due to the cc and damage improve and of those units which have their ults as cornerstones of their kits. The majority of your silver cash can be spent in the shop for stamina pots and the Gold coins that are not worth (either as an association or a directly up unit) may be used to acquire ssr units. Platinum cash can be spent on very strong gadgets in the shop, which includes the literal fine unit in the sport (red gowther), which can be to be had at all times, with rotating sales. The sport has a built-in automobile mode it is relatively gifted for maximum farming content and offers you the option to either run a set quantity of runs or limitless, even as additionally car-eating your stamina pots. The sport has a cyclical schedule of half-stamina activities for the diverse sport modes and as a way to progress with your account in terms of tools enhancement, individual awakening and limit breaking, you are anticipated to make the most of your time and farm farm farm. For instance, 1-big name playing cards, that are simple actions, will form a 2-superstar move. On the other hand, two 2-megastar playing cards will create a 3-star pass, that's the very best available base capability. If playing cards aren't subsequent to every different, you may exhaust an motion to transport them collectively and collect the upgraded card. You are also allowed to bypass moves and reset talent choices as many times as you need at some stage in a fit. This presents you with near-limitless methods of managing every spherical, with no two coming off as the equal. You commonly get them by farming sr/ssr tools and breaking them for a risk at a drop every day free summon: because the name shows, you get 1 loose day by day summon upon watching an advert. The summon is on a frequent banner and has widespread costs. In jp, this every day summon is definitely a 1 gem summon (rather than the standard three gem), so on global, you basically get 30 gemstones for "loose" every month with this machine. Castle solgres roulette: this is the game's farming dungeon, which gives you the choice to spin a roulette after each three runs, giving diverse rewards. These missions are tied to a positive man or woman's usual progress and are supposed to upgrade them to their maximum stage of power. Try finishing those missions on a ordinary foundation so that you can max out a positive character and earn some beneficial rewards on your efforts. • after you whole the principle tale episodes for a metropolis, head into the quests menu and head to the story tab. Each finished bankruptcy inside that menu is domestic to a village that has several facet quests for you to finish. • cooking lets you whip up diverse dishes that provide your birthday celebration added stat bonuses before a conflict, so attempt combining exclusive elements for you to create new ingredients. You may also head into city to buy unique cuisine if you'd instead no longer prepare dinner every now and then, however. You need to best feed your birthday celebration earlier than conducting a outstanding hard battle on the way to provide them the more stat boosts they want. • some other function that can be accessed out of your tavern is the hero way's missions. In a sense, one of the perks hard to recognize on every occasion you be a part of in on a sport a little later than different human beings are features like this. You could enter into battle with your stage 15 or so characters and feature them be joined through a stage 50 man or woman from a pal or any other player. In some instances, even being at the deprived stop of a gap in energy against enemy units will not prevent you from completing missions way to a few mercenary unit that rendered your squad extra effective than the enemy group. You use five according to reroll. - you could also get hammers which increases the % of your substats through 1% to 5% (can get round 18 per week from schooling cave). It expenses three-5 hammers relying on the rarity of your tools. - you dont have to farm ur gears due to the fact you can get it free by way of upgrading the tier of your gears such as rare-sr, sr-ssr, ssr - ur. Characters additionally receives enraved at the gear in order that they get bonus stats for equiping it. In my view, i have not heard of the manga or the anime earlier than, and i am having a blast following meliodas, elizabeth, hawk, diane, and others round britannia. The manner that meliodas greets his antique friend ban is one for the history books of video games - in place of the conventional compliment, they engage in an epic warfare for vintage times' sake. Boys could be boys, as diane could say. The Seven Deadly Sins: grand pass is not an open world rpg, rather offering three awesome kinds of play that healthy together to shape the big picture. All you will need is an android device with free space for downloading it. So, if you are looking to get a new rpg game for yourself, you should definitely check out The Seven Deadly Sins when it comes out. So, pre-register for it and you will get notified when it is released in your country. I'm beth trotman, a fun-loving freelance writer living in the ottawa area. I love writing about games. I don't know why, but it seems that's my hobby, at least for now. Just like standard skills, the ultimate can have various effects, from dealing damage, to debuffing, buffing, healing, etc ranking up an ultimate can only be done outside of battles by using dupes and it has 3 effects (more on that later): raises the modifiers of the ultimate, raises the stats given as an association unit and increases the unit's combat class (cc). It does not modify the skill in any shape or form. Finally, the passive can grant the unit themselves, your team or your enemies various effects, ranging from passive stat buffs, recurring buffs if a condition is met to free ultimate orbs. Not farming means your ability to instantly raise a new unit to max is severely hampered and you'll be behind in terms of gear/team cc. There's also a part of the content cycle that's more hands-on: pvp, co-op raids and guild boss (final bosses as well, when they're available). While pvp can be ignored once you've reached your desired tier, co-op raids are crucial for unit development, as they drop limit break materials. They need to be run in duo and usually take between 5 to 10 minutes a run, depending on the cc of the 2 players and the difficulty of the raid. These skills usually don't inflict damage but are pure debuffs. From here you can click at one of The Seven Deadly Sins member and will bring you to shop thing related for ex photo meliodas tab : is where you can go to summon for accessories yeah you summon for that in this game there is free daily single and different accessories banner based in some treasures you got from pvp elizabeth tab : here where you see deals for in game purchase like crystals with other stuff dont whale yet boys gowther tab : here where you see beautiful costumes you can buy for character and it will cost crystals that you use also for summon for characters the prices is from 10 to 30 it only cosmetic appearance and give slightly a bonus king tab : here where you spend the rainbow coins which you get from any dupe of ssr like i said before and also have Gold and silver for sr and r dupes merlin tab : to buy ap [ stamina ] and other stuff for 1 crystal which highly don't recommend spend crystal for stamina do mission and you will not run with it fast will take place from first season event and you will get to experience it with 3d model and voice acting also live the world and explore it breaking stuff or doing missions for citizens etc there will be update for the story of course and bring more characters to the game and original stuff as well sp : a daily event which drop book that daily change each day to a different attribute color which you need to evolve the character the first one locked not sure yet the one in left with wolf holding potions this is where you get them to lvl the character and the right is the book you need to evolve the character pvp : 1v1 pvp in real time also there is friendly battle you just go to the settings then first button in right corner there will you see your friend there will be a challenge button you invite him and he accept and add also from there i guess you can add friends see you code etc a mode where you and one of your friend fight a boss you have 3 cards to use and he/she have 3 cards to use so your overall total for one turn is 6 cards/act bienvenue sur le guide de The Seven Deadly Sins: grand cross of light and darkness, un action rpg tactique au tour par tour sur mobile. Completing those quests helps raise your friendship level with that village, which then gives you access to more shops and various rewards. • spend some time taking care of a village's quests in order to improve your reputation with it and eventually fill the quests meter that helps you earn 50 diamonds. Buddy up with various heroes in order to increase your affection levels with them, by the way - perform the actions stated within the heroes' affection tab in order to earn the hearts that send even more Diamonds your way. And as intricate as this game is, it's surprisingly simple to understand, topped off with outstanding game mechanics and animation. Playing this game allows the player to feel like they're actually in liones, fighting hendrickson, or in the tavern, cooking a meal for the whole gang. If this wasn't enough, they allow multiplay, and customization with all playable characters. This isn't new for a mobile game, but what makes it so spectacular is the detail and animation everything has. This game is fun everywhere you turn, and just when you think that there's nothing else to the game, you find something else hidden behind a corner. While The Seven Deadly Sins: grand cross does not exclusively consider combat power as the sole determinant of which team wins a battle, it is still a highly influential factor, which is why you will need to be ready for such instances by obtaining temporary buffs before challenging battles. You can cook your own food as well as purchase prepared dishes from npcs in town. Different meals provide different sets of buffs for your team so even before you are confronted with a fight you know will be a challenge, be sure to stock up on food early one and read each one's description to know what you can get out of each meal. One of the most creative features of this game is the turn-based option that is offered. This is an ideal approach to a combat game where each player will get a turn after his/her opponent. This makes it crucial for gamers to use an adequate strategy for combatting opponents to destroy them. Also, players will have to use skill synthesis for this combat system. Skills with the same or similar start rank easily upgrade to another higher rank when it is next to one another. Then i only loged in to do once a week a pvp match so i get 42 free gems weekly for log in 1 day each week lol. And im having funn right now with the collab, had 800 gems saved. So now im back at farming a bit. But there is absolutely no reason to not play casual unless u want to be top 50 in pvp. I think the most time effective way to play this game is just do dailies only with gems aka 10 minutes per day got all meta units (escanor, gowther, helbram, merlin, arthur, king) to 75/6* and i am completely burned out from this franchise. So i ... The world of warcraft esports tournament, mythic dungeon international, is starting this weekend - and we have the lowdown on how to watch it. Cryptic studios are offering a bundle giveaway in conjunction with the latest chapter in the star trek online storyline, all as part of their 20th anniversary celebration. Neverwinter: avernus is the latest update for mmo neverwinter and comes at the same time as developers, cryptic studios, are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Mu online is due an update on 14th july - but, in the lead-up, players will be able to collect some nice in-game rewards to enjoy, simply by playing the game or pre-registering for the upcoming update. Guild boss is a score mode that gives you and your guild various rewards every week and is somewhat rng to get a good setup. With everything in mind, while this isn't anything close to arknights in terms of casualness, you do have the ability to set your phone/emulator on auto and just leave the game by itself during a great deal of the content cycle, but you can't expect to not put in the time and still be up-to-date with content. • with a mobile game as feature-rich as grand cross, it becomes quite daunting to keep track of everything there is to do and see. Luckily, there's a tutorial for everything you tap on. Whenever you have some time to just freely wander around, click on all the available tabs you haven't gotten an explanation for yet. • a tutorial will immediately break down everything for you and gift you with a valuable diamond for your learned lesson. Diamonds are especially useful since they can be used to purchase tavern decorations that give you various boosts, alternate character costumes that give them stat buffs and tons of other beneficial items. Thanks for the write up. Having played the kr version of blade and soul showed how difficult playing a game in another language can really be, despite having a lot of translation guides and hangul being very intuitive. I hope it will be translated and brought to the west, though the maximum energy/renewal interval worries me. I hate feeling like i can only play a little bit but am notified within an hour or so that my energy is full. I prefer a game that has a larger cap and allows me to choose when i want to set aside a chunk of time to get immersed. Regardless, it's enjoyable, and the fully voiced cut scenes with the original japanese voice actors made the experience all the better. The graphics are rather high in quality. Characters and environments are 3d rendered, which makes for a very cohesive experience since it doesn't pull you from a 3d to 2d format. Everything from in-game cut scenes to ultimate moves in battles is well animated, which extends to the different hub-worlds you visit, allowing you to explore, shop, and pick up quests. Rerolling in this game is quite easy, since it doesn't require a redownload. You do have to play through a tutorial again, though. After the tutorial you get a free 11-roll which always includes 1 ssr char. 1 quest later you can do another regular 11-roll which can have any number of ssrs. You can also do 2 single rolls. Also be warned, that running this on high settings might melt your phone. Even my s10 is getting hot which did never happen before on any game. But enough on the game, here are some tips and guides to help you get started with seven deadly sins hikari to yami grand cross. Grand cross has a fairly lengthy tutorial which includes a 10x summon that has a chance to summon ssr characters. With the pre-registration rewards, players will be able to do another 10x summon after the tutorial. To make things easier for players to re-roll, the game does include a built-in data wipe option, this saves a lot of time for players since the game requires all players to download over 1.6gb worth of data before the tutorial! Side quests and optional challenges are the lifeblood of many gacha games like 7ds. Many exclusive features and awesome prizes are usually locked behind these missions. However, while crucial, these tasks are ancillary to the main plot, which is where the big rewards lie. In this sense, if you're looking to score big, your best bet is to speed through the main missions as they will give you many valuable prizes, including diamonds, for beating them the first time. You can check the rewards for completing each stage in the quests menu, in the tab corresponding to the current ongoing chapter. Games like these that are built to make you spend a lot of time and even money aren't for some people. The whole point is that there are ample stuff for people to play at their own pace. Of course you need more dedication when it comes to being competitive, but that's par for most if not all things in reality. It makes no sense for anything (game or not) to be one where a person who has spent significantly less time practicing/dedicated to the activity is able to do better than someone who has spent much more time working on it. 7 deadly sins: grand cross is one such title that just recently saw it's global launch after great success in japan. This game is standing out from the rest, however, boasting highly cinematic gameplay and cutscenes, a plethora of engaging features, and a wholly nostalgic experience for fans of the anime series. 7 deadly sins: grand cross follows the plot of the popular anime, The Seven Deadly Sins. Kicking off in the boar hat tavern with hawk, meliodas, and his exceedingly noxious culinary creations, the evocative references come charging at fans from the starting gate - one of the smallest, yet most endearing references being the map progress. Playing casually? Yes, you can do what you want, and will still have alot of stamina, and stuff. Just forget of beating some high scores on guild boss; getting high rewards in pvp; easy time with demons, and most importantly, even slower character development. This game actually requires playing as much as possible to stay competitive. Take a look at current half-stamina events. There are people leaving their phones on auto for the whole night to capitalise on that. Just try to awaken a unit (just one) to 6 stars and you will see how much it takes. Overnight farming, daily missions, kingbram or ultimate rush pvp all day, equipment min-maxing, that's no joke anymore. I'm in the exact same boat... all metas maxed. Top 5% final boss, champion 1 and challenger (pvp), and my guild is top 1%.... and i am completely burned out. I'm looking at the new events and just thinking "do i even care any more?" I'm just tired of doing the same thing every week with gb and hoping i get that perfect rng after a couple of hours. Whaling/dolphining: this is another small complaint, as i often spend a little bit here or there on better packages. Things like monthly gem deals i will spend every month if they are reasonable. (sub 10 dollars). However, a lot of the gems are overpriced except the limited packages and even the monthly package is 30 bucks which is a bit too much to casually spend every month. It is definitely hard to casually dolphin and harder to whale. I have bounced around in many different games the last year but i think grand cross really hit the spot. Now, let's talk about combat, the main aspect of the game. You'll be able to select up to three characters you have to be your team and then a fourth character can be assigned as a sub if needed. There is a rock-paper-scissors mechanic, so you'll want to pay attention to the colors of your enemies and match them accordingly. You can also use any characters you have unlocked, even if it makes zero sense for the story. I ran some of the first few missions using meliodas, ban, and gilthunder. Well, lilia is at least gonna be guaranteed and she turns howzer, a common ssr, into a pvp god for awhile. I thought everyone hated games that had costumes that gave stats? Is that out that window now because its a 7ds game? Honestly if the quality of the game wasn't so high, you would probably see more complaints. The game has some flaws for sure, including the costumes, but overall still one of the better gacha. Yeah it looks nice. Everything is fun. To the battles, to cooking, to drawing characters. Even the loading screens are fun. There's almost always a new one, different, exciting loading screen. I don't usually write reviews for a game, but i had to for this one. It's just too great. I'm so excited for the future of this game! To anyone reading this, play the game! You won't regret it! Requires ios 9.0 or later. Compatible with iphone 5s, iphone 6, iphone 6 plus, iphone 6s, iphone 6s plus, iphone se (1st generation), iphone 7, iphone 7 plus, iphone 8, iphone 8 plus, iphone x, iphone xs, iphone xs max, iphone xr, iphone 11, iphone 11 pro, iphone 11 pro max, iphone se (2nd generation), ipad air, ipad air wi‑fi + cellular, ipad mini 2, ipad mini 2 wi‑fi + cellular, ipad air 2, ipad air 2 wi‑fi + cellular, ipad mini 3, ipad mini 3 wi‑fi + cellular, ipad mini 4, ipad mini 4 wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (12.9‑inch), ipad pro (12.9‑inch) wi-fi + cellular, ipad pro (9.7‑inch), ipad pro (9.7‑inch) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad (5th generation), ipad (5th generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (2nd generation), ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (2nd generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (10.5‑inch), ipad pro (10.5‑inch) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad (6th generation), ipad wi‑fi + cellular (6th generation), ipad pro (11‑inch), ipad pro (11‑inch) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (3rd generation), ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (3rd generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad mini (5th generation), ipad mini (5th generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad air (3rd generation), ipad air (3rd generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad (7th generation), ipad (7th generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (11‑inch) (2nd generation), ipad pro (11‑inch) (2nd generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (4th generation), ipad pro (12.9‑inch) (4th generation) wi‑fi + cellular, ipod touch (6th generation), and ipod touch (7th generation). Every battle your heroes participate in earns them experience points. At a certain point, each will reach new levels up until they reach their level cap, which is not dependent on your account rank. Beyond that, the most basic way to improve your hero's stats is through the enhance option, which is basically levelling the hero up with the use of enhance potions. For one, you can use it on your current main team or save it so that new heroes will be able to catch up in terms of level later on. I had a weird cool dream!
It was like some kind of mmorpg, and the intro was kinda like that bus from the third harry potter movie? Everyone started on a long several days bus trip from their various back story tutorial areas to the main town, and the quirky cast of bus staff would give you more tutorials on the more optional features and guilds and stuff. I remember I got one free costume dye thing, and I thought that was a great idea! Everyone's newbie clothes would look more distinct and you'd feel more customized! And it'd be a good preview of an ability you wouldn't be able to use again for ages.
Anyway the main bus NPC was a Cool Gay Grandma who I think maybe was married to the tailor shop grandma so that's why you got the free clothes? Probably you could see more of the tailor grandma later and get attached to her as she talks about missing her adventurer wife who drives all over the world in her magic bus, and then maybe there could be a side quest or something to deliver a love letter between them and you'd have to disguise yourself as a poor newbie in need to catch the bus again...
Man I'm going offtopic lol! Anyway I remember that bus grandma had big red goggles like xerosic and she was super tiny and super nice but also A SPEED DEMON. Her bus was like the monster truck of buses, it was like a whole moving apartment block with giant exhausts/chimneys and then it would blaze across the continents so fast you could make any journey in 3 days. And similar to the bus from harry potter it was like invisible and imtangeable to anyone she didn't choose to allow on as a passenger. But like it felt less like an impossible natural magical occurance and more like one really crazy awesome lady who spent her life finding ways to defy physics just to help everyone everywhere with monster truck power~! Also apparently in this universe it was some sort of stereotype that gay grandmas have dogs cos she was like 'well I guess you guessed cos of the dog toys' and that was like.. The only incoherent part of the dream. She just pointed to some insane unknowable dream object that was apparently a dog toy. It looked like a skateboard made out of those rubber hotdogs?? Also I think she probably either had a tiny Cerberus puppy or a giant sized regular dog. Something monstery! I think it was what fueled the engine with its fire breath, but I didn't get to see it during the dream.
And then the race I picked in this game was demon, and I was like some sort of adorable lalafell-ish one? Like, you could actually select character age, not just one race of kid lookin charries. The vast majority of other demon players were all buff or sexualized or emo teens or whatever and I was just like 'hello, tiny shonen protagonist here!' (Cos it was more like a ten year old than like.. Whatever lalafells are. Five? That would be more messed up if it was an actual five year old being attacked by monsters rather than just a magic fairy who looks younger than they really are.)
Oh and there was like a preview of.. I think guildmasters? Some sort of characters that would be bigger important roles during your journey. But when you met em here it was just like 'hey some odd but nice random customers on the bus.' They'd appear at random every day and sometimes chat with you or join in to help your tutorials and stuff. (Apparently bus grandma is so badass she can boss around the government officials of the demon capital and they'll react like frightened school kids! "If you want a free ride, you'll do some work, Sonny Jim!" "Can't I just pay you?" "NO." *points to sign: free since 96*)
So yeah after your few days journey tutorialy you'd get off the bus and realise HOLY SHIT I WAS TALKING TO IMPORTANT GUYS. I don't remember much about what any of em looked like tho or what guilds they led. Like was it a political thing or were they like the job class masters? But I do remember that they were all demons and I think you'd get a whole different cast of them depending on which race you picked and which starting city was at the end of the line. And I just remember one of them was a cool lady with like the cliche samurai ponytail and then really eye-catching thin elaborately patterned horns that looked the colour of molten metal. She was possibly the swordmaster teacher? And she was all seriously and she had like a.. Friend or brother maybe? There was another character who was always hanging out with her and being all huggy and jokey and she had a general attitude of 'if this was anyone else I would have killed them for that'. Like total opposite chilled out Hau-esque personality and somehow bffs with serious lady. I think he had curly afro hair and blue ram horns that looked kinda like seashells? And might have worn a striped scarf. They were like opposites but I think possibly she also had a scarf and it was like some super serious tattered one that's seen a thousand battles and flows behind her like a sentai hero. And he's just like "LOOK WE MATCH!" *the cutest thing he could find* "sigh.. Yes brother..."
And I think possibly it was some funny dynamic like they were the heads of rival job classes and all their students hate each other and then its like 'hey sis mom packed you a lunch' *hugs* *then straight back to battling* But I got the sense that hugs bro wasn't really into the rivalry, he was just comically oblivious that his team all hate the sword team, and they kept tricking him into stuff like 'yeah let's compete against them in the worldwide tournement, that'd be a full friendship activity!' *stands there blankly as everyone tries to kill each other* 'boy my sister sure does love and respect me' *currently in a headlock by her*
Oh and I think you could choose different back stories for your character? Im not entirely sure what mine was but it involved someone recognising me from a royal ball or something? So maybe I was a runaway prince masquerading as a commoner? Or maybe I was a commoner who broke into that ball and almost got caught? Maybe I was even a phantom thief???
And then the weirdest part of the dream is that I DREAMED A GLITCH IN THE GAME?? On the last day of the bus tutorial it suddenly lagged out from too many players disembarking at once. I think it was something like the whole side quest was a solo instance until the last minute, but they kinda planned it badly and the bus couldn't handle the sheer volume of newbies all taking the quest at the same time. So I literally couldn't get through the door from so many people, and then the lag glitches me out and flew me forward several days in game time. (Cos of the sidequest's gimmick of having multiple days pass with different events) it was like a two week long session of redoing the same tutorials, and then cos the tailor shop preview was time limited all my equipment had vanished by the time I finally got out.
I think the developers said the intention was that you could 'get your first sight of multiplayer' and hopefully make friends with other newbies, but they planned it poorly. So in later patches everything on the bus was singleplayer and then they added sort of a lobby area for newbies only chat and stuff before you got into the main game. And limited it to only showing players in randomly selected blocks of fifty, but with a mailbox NPC that could teleport your friends to the same version of the room if you had a name to go on. (But then it had more glitches with people who'd summon 100 friends to a place with a capacity of 50, but it was generally considered 'well that's your own fault')
So weirdly developed! I think I was playing a real game from another dimension!
