So I just had a realization. Kara literally asked Lena “Are you going to kill me” and she just sounded sad like she didn’t care if she did. I think if it really came down to it and they were face to face and Lena was about to kill her...I don’t think Kara could bring herself to fight back. She would just let her and Lena would be screaming and crying and shoving her, begging her to fight back before just collapsing in Kara’s arms and crying
