So I've made an Alter version of Corridor of Memories. The original arrangement I found was by Lamento96, I just added a different flute part, two shamisen, and a piano to refer to the original song. I'm still figuring out Haruka's theme and I am sad that I have no access to Taiko drums in Musescore 4. If it's a little loud, sorry, still figuring out Musescore 4 and how it works. (Much more familiar with 3)

Hakumyu in 2025

With Hakumyu currently running in the theatre and the current cast being active on twitter, there have been some clues flying around who's next with standing in the centre of attention and being recipient of Chizuru's affection.

There are categories to chances:

1. Cast members popularity

2. After a HijiHen a 〇〇Hen always followed

3. Routes that haven't been done yet

4. Spoilers/ character gets a spotlight with Chizuru in the current show

Within these categories are:

1) OkiHen, TouHen, KazaHen

2)KazaHen

3) IbaHen, SakaHen

4) (under the cut)

KazaHen appearing twice doesn't mean he has that much of an advantage over the others.

I personally think that IbaHen and SakaHen are currently the most likely. Even though OkiHen and TouHen aren't unlikely either considering how popular Kento and Yuta became.

KazaHen's possiblity is quite high, too, due to Sasaki Yoshihide's popularity and himself posting on twitter in a cryptic way he wants to do KazaHen.

4) again Heisuke Hen, maybe Yamazaki Hen as well (as he gets a harmonised song with Chizuru for the first time), maybe in the near future but not necessarily next year Nagakura Hen.

i felt the need to doodle this scene from sannan-san hakumyu because like... it's just so endearing? shion's chizuru really captures the wholehearted dedicated pining she has for him in his route (i mean, you really gotta CHASE this man). honestly she's in top three of my favorite chizurus. and of course, teruma's sannan-san really did grow on me. i was used to mikata's sannan-san (since i'm a hakumyu boomer), but i adore both their portrayals and voices.

haven't drawn hakuouki in a hot minute, but it'll always have a special place in my heart.

I waited so long for Hakuouki newest game, Tenun, even though I can't understand Japanese, but I was still so excited because there are fans who translate it to English. However, I realized that the routes are not really that long. Actually, the routes are short, in my opinion, and I'm disappointed.

I am listening all Elisabeth das Musical OST again and I remember that I have A ALL ESSAY about how the lyrics can fit Hakuouki and Shinsengumi boys. Or that I have an AU with Lady Death following their paths because she loves them so much and want them for her...so I am fangirling and dying more over their death now.

Oh and Wenn ich tanzen will but between Lady Death (Der Todd) and Hijikata (Elisabeth) and I would love having skills to draw them.

Hakumyu Saito Shinkai Merch

Last week the Hakumyu Saito Shinkai goods I ordered came in! The DVD is being relased sometime this month, so for now it’s just photo sets and such. I wanted to show a bit of what I got! 

First up I got the official pamphlet, which is full of lovely photos. I’d really reccomend getting it if you can! The Chizuru and Hijikata photos towards the bottom with the writing came included with it. I also bought the full set of cast photos, as well as individual photo sets of Saito, Kazama, Heisuke, and Sannan (see below).

Don’t they look great? I just adore all of them! Lastly, I also bought 3 blind bromides. Basically they’re like 1/3 of the price of a normal bromide, but you don’t know what character or pose you’re gonna get, which is fun! 

I ended up with Saito, Harada, and Sannan! Saito and Harada are great and all, but I was most excited to pull Sannan!! I absolutely stan Teruma (Sannan-hen when?) and flowers in the background look so beautiful!

I am watching Sannan-hen (not the blu-ray/dvd one of course) and oh dear...there is so much to say about the scenography and all the symbolism around the lights. It's incredible how they improve the songs and their performance.

Trust me, soon I will blabbing through analysis about the Shinkai scenography because there is SO MUCH to say. Like Sannan-hen is up on my list concerning scenography but Saito-hen 2 and Souma-hen have good ideas too.
