I rarely recommend fanfictions here, but for now I'd like to recommend one.

I didn’t expect I’d like this work so much. This is a Human AU, but why is it good?

I often wondered what would happen if Connor was to blame for Cole's death or somehow involved in it? It’d be a very painful topic, full of drama and tears. But even so, I always believed that Hank and Connor's love would find a way out. They would still be attracted to each other, because it is inevitable.
