🍂💫 - poolstrider or harrierflight, whichever u have more thoughts on

🍂 Theory I have about their backstory or future (Poolstrider)

I know that Poolstrider will be a fantastic parent, even if they're a bit nervous and unsure of their abilities at first. I think they'll definitely raise their kits to believe in equality amongst the clans, but that might have some interesting implications when you consider the sire of those kits. Maybe it plants a bit of doubt amongst a Bogclanner or two, causing gossip to spread that eventually creates a more substantial reveal...? This is more likely if it's planned for Poolstrider to become more vocal about their political opinions with the introduction of their kittens; possibly desire to make it very clear to those kittens what is right and what is wrong in the current atmosphere. I also think Pool will be a bit frantic and nervous at first, given that they weren't expecting the kittens. I feel they might overcompensate a bit to make up for the fact that the father isn't present, since they view this as an issue as it's something that has upset them, but something that the kits won't necessarily care about unless it's made into a Thing by their parent. I also feel like Poolstrider will be quite clingy (for lack of a better word) with their kits since they've felt the loss of both their sister and their father, and they don't want to experience more abandonment. So they may be somewhat of a helicopter parent and be very aware of any trouble their kits are getting into. Maybe it'll end up being a situation where Sumacskip and his more easygoing nature helps with that. I do think that the true identity of Poolstrider's ex will come to light at some point. I don't think Pool will face serious practical consequences for this, as they seem to have a good support system within Bogclan, but I do think that they will have to deal with some backlash throughout their life and that they will become more overprotective when it comes to shielding their kits from rude comments as they grow up (if the truth comes out while they're still young).

💫 Ideal development and growth (Harrierflight)

I definitely want to see Harrierflight be confronted with the fallacy that is his incessant biases against the other clans. It would be interesting for an event to occur in which he has to acknowledge the humanity (felinity...?) of a cat from another community. Maybe a situation occurs where Harrier has to overcome a challenge by collaborating with a Raven/Aspen member (maybe something where he's helping them rebuild after the fires, like if Ashenmoon decides to extend the olive branch again and Harrier is chosen to be part of that...?). Since he seems pretty religious, he might see this experience as a lesson sent by Starclan to inform him of the equal standing of other cats. I would also like to see him in a situation where another Bogclanner is calling him out on his biases and holding them to account, poking holes in his arguments one by one. I feel like that'd be a stressful experience for Harrierflight, but a really valuable one if he's mad enough to stick around for the whole convo. And the process of essentially deprogramming and unlearning so many years of what is basically Bogclan propaganda would be a really fascinating experience to witness because it's just so difficult and requires so much upheaval and character development. Especially when the current status quo in Bogclan is actively upholding these kinds of biases. It would be utterly devastating if he were to be in a situation like one of the ones described above and instead of being forced to change, he instead digs deeper into his convictions and becomes even more fanatical... eventually leading to a soft demise. Though, that would also be a realistic and interesting portrayal and one that a lot of people often shy away from, sooo there are lots of cool routes for this guy! Always great to see people facing the pro-clan brainwashing stuff head on.

A tall, ruddy black ticked molly. Her muzzle is white, as is a small spot on her chest and her eyes are a bright green.

Personality:

Carpblossom is a straightforward and aloof individual who always speaks bluntly from their mind and what she thinks about others.

Carpblossom grew into a highly mature and responsible individual who could divide her attention between duties without letting one intervene with the other. This also means that Carpblossom knows how to lead and look after others, keeping them safe and at ease if they don't feel so. They have strong morals, goals, and principles and is willing to oppose their friends to defend them from decisions they consider rash.

They are noticeably calm and collected, being able to stay levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. However, even Carpblossom has limits when it comes to staying composed, having broken down in despair or heartbreak a few times. their words may also come off as unintentionally harsh thanks to their blunt honesty, resulting in their feeling guilty and regretful when they speak out against ther friends.

hmmm I remember when daypaw first showed up I didnt have a ton of opinions on her aside from “oh cool harrierflight has a buddy!”, but the more I see her in-rp the more I love her as a character! I always think abt her bullying ganderkit’s name within 2 minutes of meeting the litter and I think its VERY funny. daypaws the coolest I want to pet her little kitty head

ok so! I dont know a ton about daypaws backstory but I am curious about their parents... maybe its been brought up in the server already but id love to see what sort of kithood they had/how their parents raised them, especially since as far as I know their parents arent around anymore. again maybe this has been mentioned and I just didnt see it! as for the future, I see daypaw being a hellraiser as a warrior and im SO excited to see where he goes especially once he and harrierflight can interact more [character interactions my beloved]

my ideal development for harrierflight would be him overcoming his patriotic tendencies and seeing the other clans as equals, rather than rivals - I imagine this would be brought about by encouragement from friends and a general shift in clan-wide opinions. id also love to see him have a litter someday, but since ive already got a monarch character who knows if or when thatll happen lol

🌪 - worst possible change and development

the worst development for harrierflight would be him seeing the other clans in an even worse light/openly campaigning against them.... this could happen if he got too stuck in his opinions or if aspenclan/ravenclan attacked bogclan. would lead to a very bitter, angry harrierflight who may lose himself to revenge fantasies

🍃 Rat Gaze: My greatest fear is losing my family. I care deeply for my tribe, don’t get me wrong; but I care for my family and I don’t know what I would do if I lost them. All I desire is for them to continue growing up happy - my kits. And since you’ve already asked my whom my favorite is, I suppose below Aster Petal is Elk Heart. A parent isn’t supposed to choose favorites but… when she took up her assessment, I knew that she would be my favorite….

🍃 Sun Leaf: Greatest fear? No way, what do I have to be afraid of? Any predator around here is just avoid or chase off, and any thing else is just the same. Danger’s avoidable usually… I can find a way out of it! I myself think since I was already even trained by Rat Gaze, I could be Runner one day. I like Young Bird and Night Screech equally - in that generally they dont seem to care for me for whatever reason. Jealous I bet, not to say we hate each other but I guess siblings are as far as our bonds go.

🍃 Night Screech: … I don’t … I don’t know what my biggest fear is…. I never really thought about it. I mean, the wolf attacks, bear attacks that happened a few moons ago… those were kind of scary but I don’t think thats my biggest fear…Or a greatest desire. I’m pretty… content right now. … I guess Sparrow’s my favorite family member. He’s my nephew and he’s too young to have done anything wrong so… He’s not annoying yet.

🎼 Hunting Bear: My greatest fear…? Everything and nothing. My older brother Cliff Rock once said that the strongest and smartest thing a cat who heads the Talon Guard can do is fear everything and nothing. Prepare for the worse. He was my favorite family member… and it was a sad day when he passed. My only desire is to live up to the potential he believed he had for me.

🎼 Hawk Flight: Hm… I don’t have a greatest fear I suppose. I mean, I think everyone fears the worst will befall their kits and kin, but I suppose since that’s so normal a fear… My only desire is for my kits to find happiness. And I don’t really have a favorite family member - that’s not very fair.

🎼 Alder Leaf: Oh, that’s kind of hard. I’m actually afraid of drowning… I had a pretty bad scare when I was a lot smaller and there was this weird pond on the territory that shows up during certain times of the seasons… I really dont want that to happen again. But! Spider Berry’s my favorite! She’s great! And I wanna be a great Prey-Hunter like Hawk Flight and Otter Chase!

🌊 Softpetal Frost: I believe my biggest fear is being useless to the tribe… I don’t want anyone to think I don’t have a good place here. It’s my only desire as well really… find my place happily. Right now my only living relatives are Sun Stone and her kits…. Which is fine I suppose; her kits are young yet, and since Lion Hearts passing I believe we are working on our relationship.

🐚 Dawnheart: My biggest fear is disappointing my clan. I’m trying to learn what I can from Crowstar, but he seems to make some members of the clans uneasy and … I don’t want to do that… So I guess that’s my desire and fear? … I really like all of my family, so I think I’ll leave that one alone.

🐚 Pigeonpaw: Lilypaw’s my favorite! She’s brave, and smart! I mean, I like my other siblings I guess, but Lilypaw gets me the most! … I think I’m just afraid of those coyotes. Mom says they’re gone now, but…. well…. it was pretty bad. I’m going to be a strong warrior like my dad was to help keep the clan safe if it ever happens again!

🗻Harrierflight: I’ve seen enough to know that my biggest fear lies in the balance of my clans safety. I only desire to make sure we don’t have to face so many losses again… And I don’t have a favorite kit; and I’d never say a kit or mate are more important the one another…

🗻 Willowface: What, the rogue thing wasn’t bad enough for you? Can there be a greater fear dealing with all of that? My desire is just staying alive, it’s been a weird season…. And I have too many siblings to pick a favorite, that would be pretty wrong.

🌌 Binx: We don’t need more bad things happening around here, so why don’t you take that stupid question elsewhere? The Moon Court doesn’t have fear. And my desires are already met. I’m alive, my kits are alive - all of them - and I have my mate. That’s all that matters.

🌌 Canary: I just dont want my kits to die or stay in danger… They’re special here, no ones going to kill them here so I’m okay with that. I wish Pine were here though… But at least I have Snickers.

Description:

Lambwing is a long furred silver lynx point molly with bright blue eyes and white markings just below her eyes. Her ears are tuffed, and her face is narrow. Her hind paws have an extra toe on each.

Personality:

Being raised by Sheepclaw, Lambwing is known for her commanding attitude around those younger than her, her serious demeanor, and occasional playful personality. She does, however, have a deep-seated bitterness towards rogues and the like due to the death of Whisperwind, and friends since then.

However, as she got older Lambwing has realized that just because a cat is from the outside, doesn’t mean they are vile in heart. She reaffirms her trust in cats like Ferretface, Lostface, and Goosefeather. Once she realized how many cats were from outside the clan, she has allowed herself to start thinking more about how character is build on actions and not on blood.

Lambwing is a very caring and altruistic individual who wants to do right by all of the clans, and is incredibly committed to her duties as a warrior, and attempting to continue learning from Dappleforst, Torneye, Swansong, Goosefeather, Harrierflight, Larkstar. She greatly admires her mother and siblings, attempting to make them all proud as she continues to work hard for her clan.

Lambwing possesses an incredible force of will, inspired by Fadinglight to be the strongest and wisest she can be.
