Hello! So I'm confused about Hellkaros and with the Restoration of Destiny. Basically Hellkaros desires to employ Lloyd and make use of him as a puppet so he can relax that's why he sped up the Restoration of Destiny so Lloyd won't collect good karma, let's say Hellkaros wins and was able to get Lloyd? But won't Javier and Lloyd still exist at the same time? And will make the Restoration still either want to end Javier or Lloyd? So Hellkaros would still lose Lloyd if Javier survives. And Hellkaros will basically have more work?

I'm sorry if this is not clear 😞

tbh it is a bit confusing! but you gotta keep in mind two things: 1) the restoration of fate doesn't care what happens to lloyd or javier as long as one of them dies or is otherwise removed from the world and 2) helkaros doesn't really care what happens in the mortal realm either.

we don't know if lloyd dying but remaining in hell as a ghost would work to stop the restoration of fate, i think it's a bit of a grey area because while we know him dying and being brought back to life wouldn't work as he would still exist in the world, maybe him being stuck in another realm would count? we know just simply leaving the fiefdom wouldn't work, but maybe the combination of being both dead and unable to come back to the material realm is enough?

but even if it's like you say and the restoration of fate is still ongoing even after lloyd goes to hell with helkaros,, well, so what? helkaros got what he wanted, he has lloyd, what does he care if there's a big catastrophe in the mortal realm that destroys the frontera estate and kills everyone in there. it's not his problem. either everyone dies like in the original plot like the world wanted in the first place and javier starts his journey as the protagonist. or javier dies and the restoration of fate finally stops. either way, he got what he wanted and the situation resolved itself.

gah talking about this is confusing because i'm still not completely sure why the restoration of fate stopped at the end! like! personally i don't think it makes that much sense if you take the text at face value! but this is more or less my understanding of the situation. i really, really want to talk this out with someone because i feel like i keep talking myself into circles like this lol

but yeah! hope this somewhat clears things up!

I bought ch 113 and realized that they cut a lot of details of Hellkaros and Lloyd's conversation 😭 This is the worst. Not me wanting to see them talk over 2 months since their hiatus and then....god....

It supposed to have Hellkaros excited to be able to go home!!!! Where is his heart sped up by just thinking about what he'd do and feel after go tohis home?? He realized that he never have done something like that in his life and it makes him exhilarating and thrilling. A lot of details and his funny and silly moments got cut of. What the hell is this.

I'm so so excited about this because it's my favorite scene. It is already funny enough to be adapted! God. I don't even understand why they decided to skip it. Where is Hellkaros with himself in a warm lava bath while binge-watch TV shows? Is it not funny enough or something? Man....

The good thing is his handsomeness lmao I especially like how he actually stops doing his work and listen to Lloyd (like in the novel) but the way they shorten 2 chapters in half is insane (in negative way)

And of course, I can die for Novel Hellkaros, so I come up with this. If they follow the novel, we could have got something like this....in the manhwa....

As a no.1 fan of the railroad arc. I won't talk about the second half of the chapter 113 because I don't know what I'm supposed to say, but!!! Hellkaros and Lloyd's conversation!!! It has changed so much that I don't want to forgive it!!!

First of all, in the opening chapter, Lloyd states that he received information from the Spirit Phone. Hello?? Okay, I have no problem with Lloyd using it. But do you think it's a good idea for Lloyd to search the internet for information about the King of Hell?? In the novel, Lloyd already knows that information. He already knew what Hellkaros was like. He already knew the information that was only briefly mentioned in The Knight of Blood and Iron! Am I the only one who has a problem with this part? Because changing the fact that Lloyd obtained information about the Hell King with unimaginable power from a source that could definitely be trusted 100% a.k.a. TKOBAI or a source that could only be trusted 40% a.k.a. random videos from Hell internet had a very different effect.

And this isn't the only bad part.

What's worse is that Lloyd challenges the King of Hell after he rudely tries to make a deal. There was even no guarantee that Javier would be able to protect him because the Hell King had power beyond imagination! Do you think it makes sense given Lloyd's character? He's not a type who'd take such risks. Especially by risking his own life on randomly information! When I read that, to be honest, I was very disappointed. I daresay that the novel has done it better. If you say 'Manhwa is funnier!' I suggest you read the railroad arc in the novel again. The manhwa ain't ballin' compared to the novel. lmao.

And besides, it was clear that Lloyd knew Hellkaros very well despite having only this little information. The same was true for Hellkaros, who only knew that Suho had possessed Lloyd's body and done many things in a dimension that was not his own. But they still managed to know each other well! Lloyd even admitted that he and the Hell King had things in common. (Okay, I won't shut up about their chemistry.)

And what hurt more than anything was that they chose to completely cut off Hellkaros' thoughts. You'll never know what he's thinking in the manhwa, and yes, the novel is much funnier if you use Lee Hyunmin-nim's logic that he used in the adaptation. (💀)

First, after having a short conversation. Hellkaros had already thought about replacing Lloyd with his own because Lloyd was more capable than he thought. It shows that Hellkaros is more interested in Lloyd even though his work is a lot. And Lloyd was much more polite and respectful to the Hell King in the novel.

Second, in the part where Lloyd talks about building the station. They also talked about details that the manhwa chose to omit entirely. And after Hellkaros had put everything into consideration, how it would benefit him. Do you know what happened? He knew that if he accepted Lloyd's proposal to build a railroad, then yes, there would be no more transportation problems. And Hellkaros wouldn't have to keep those stupid Satanists updated in real time. This means that he will complete his work faster. From all the equations, he got the answer: 'He will be able to get off work.'

I'll give those chores to them all. My own workload will also get substantially lighter. I won't have to continually find a new transportation route for those idiotic demons with a reliable railroad. If that happens...He would be liberated from every single one of his miscellaneous chores. All that was left for him to do was sentence dead souls, a basic task for him. And that meant... See how funny and silly it is? I still have a lot to say. Oh yeah. As for the time Hellkaros actually was working, it wasn't just Lloyd knew from the information he had. Hellkaros was also the one who spoke to him about this matter. 'Why come when I'm busy? Don't you know I'm blah blah blah' Honestly, I especially liked this part because Lloyd had no choice but to listen to this hell king talk. LMAO and it was actually so funny that I wondered what in the world they decided to change it and cut out all the good parts. They even talked in 2 episodes, but?? They decided to shorten it to just half a chapter. I expected to have fun and this is what happened. Are they afraid of making the Hell King have the desires of normal people? His house hasn't even been removed the protection flim yet.

I swear I'll say more if they choose to cut it again in the future. Hellkaros often imagined what he would do once he returned home. And the worst part is that they chose to cut it out. I really don't understand why it was done.

OMG YES SURE!!!!!!!! As I live in his shoes, I'll talk about him briefly based on information from Hell arc so it'll not spoil the rest. The information that I have tried to piece together is only from the information we were given in the web novel from this arc. (I don't really like the webcomic Hellkaros. They made him look...meh 😒)

Let's study him like a frog!!! (I'm really excited) Hellkaros is the Watcher of the 19th Purgatory and the King of Hell. The previous King of Hell was his predecessor. We still have no idea how Hellkaros became the King of Hell. What a pity. He has been working non-stop for 670,000 years. His main duty was to judge all souls who descended to hell after death through documents.

According to Lloyd's perspective, he received his information from the novel, The Knight of Blood and Iron. He said that Hellkaros is a pragmatic person and also less terrifying than the Hell Knights under his command. And a workaholic.

He's a workaholic. A judge that judges hundreds, billions, and trillions of dead souls. He's piled under a mountain of work, so he punished the others only with formal documents and the rule of law.

Chapter 230

Hellkaros never took part in direct combat and killed no entity. Documents and judgments were his only weapons he wielded to determine the fate of others. He had just left the work that required use of force to Hell's Knights and glued himself to endless never-reducing paper works. Lloyd knew this well and he knew that Hellkaros had the least chance of posing any harm to him. And Hellkaros was the safest brother 😭😭 Like, really! Javier was concerned before because Lloyd looked less scary about meeting the Hell King. And Lloyd was just, man no worry, the King of Hell is the safest person in Hell!

But yeah. A lot of stuff happened after the Hell arc. It's a spoiler, so I'm ain't talking about them.

Also, Hellkaros wanted to live a comfortable life, such as going back to his house and doing things he had never done before, watching movies, reading novels he hadn't followed in a long time, and so on, but he couldn't because he had a lot of work to deal with. In short, he didn't hate being the Hell King. He always set a new transportation route every day, every hour, and even when he entrusted the job to the demons under him, nothing changed. Like, he got reports for every minute about transportation problems. He had to open a new route for 800,000 demons who were working to drive the carriage. So that's why lol.

He can't leave this duty either. Because if he did, cell division would stop and more would die. The microbial food chain will completely break down. And the entire planet will face massive extinction. This part clearly explains that he is such a highly responsible person since he has been doing this nonstop for 670,000 years. He's such a busy guy to be honest.

Judging those bacteria's souls is easy for him because of their simple souls. They don't possess the flaws like humans. Normally, human souls are either sent to Heaven or Hell. But with the bacteria, they don't require much deliberation. He can manage to do over trillions each day. The only thing that dragged him down was to set a new route for the demons for this job.

He could see through spirits and know the identity of each one. This was the reason why he knew Lloyd's real name. Even if Lloyd didn't tell him. He gives off an atmosphere of being tired and engrossed in work all the time, no different from an office worker. And it was highly likely that if he continued to work like this, he would end up like the previous king.

He is very interested in Lloyd's abilities. At first, it was just Lloyd's singing. He also admitted that Lloyd's singing was such a sound that even the Hell King like him would regret living to hear it. He can also loop Lloyd's songs a thousand times lmao. Yes. IT WAS CUT OFF GOD DAMMIT. The reason why Hellkaros trusts Lloyd and lets this man do things he doesn't know about is gone. Just the short paragraph I have given as an example is enough to give the viewer a sense of the character's thoughts and attitude. Hellkaros' hopeless feelings and the thoughts that he would one day end up himself that had been chasing him all this time were now relieved because of Kim Suho, a man running around in a dimension that wasn't his own. How he trust Kim Suho, and what did he see in Kim Suho, and what side did he reveal to Kim Suho? We don't get it in the webcomic and I want to bite someone. I'M GOING INSANE NOW.

Also, ALSO. ALSO. He also had a daydream that he could leisurely enjoy a glass of highly acidic juice as he bathed in a volcanic hot spring too :D He also wanted to catch up on the novel, legends, and other tales he missed in the last 670,000 years. He watched Hellfix, Hellver series, Hellcha through his mana-powered mable. He has a house. But haven't removed the protection film yet.

And...Hellkaros has quite a sense of humor? Yes, it was kinda delusional because I was just completely drunk on his and Lloyd's conversation. He even shrugged and teased Lloyd. This shows how much I wanted to get his plush and throw it in the washing machine. Again, we don't see this in webcomic. I want to commit a crime.

You are so right that I don't have to do anything but nod in agreement. The more I reread this arc, the more disappointed I became when I found out I was so excited to read this adaptation back then. It's something I loved to do in every Thursday night. But now that arc is over quickly in 7 chapters and nothing more than a lot of ooc and the already fun, heartwarming and funny scenes are gone.

And Lloyd and suho's conversation :( Their conversation had everything we wanted. Tension, fun, and many other things that webcomic chooses to omit. Maybe it drags on for them and they want to speed up the story (which even if they don't, the webcomic will end in 200 chapters anyway) and it's... ;(

Especially with how suho be like, “hey don't expect a comfortable ride from this.” And at the same time, he was like, “Hey do you have motion sickness I will remove the trap for you and that way you can vomit.” God, them 😭😭😭😭😭 them 😭😭😭😭 same for og lloyd tbh even though he keeps being a scumbag (he always does that) and a whining bastard (he always does that.2) but when he accidentally yet intentionally mentioned to suho's parents and find out that this fake's parents are already passed away he was like, he was silent for a sec before giving suho some encouragement (?) in his own way. please kill me.

I don't get it why did Hellkaros want Kim Suho so much what more can he do for him?

Welcome to procuder's glue archive. Due to our lack of information, almost everything here comes from my own perspective. There will be slight spoilers. (railroad arc.)

If you asked why Hellkaros wanted Kim Suho that much, we have to go back and look at why Hellkaros became interested in Lloyd. (Kim Suho.)

For me, it started with Lloyd and Javier succeeding in killing the Hell Knight, Giolexius. That was a big achievement and one of hell's losses in manpower. Hellkaros became more interested in this man. At first, he was just interested in Lloyd's singing.

They meet for the first time in Lloyd's dream after Hellkaros takes up some of his precious free time and his busy work schedule to meet up with Lloyd. (definitely not gay sir I got you) They have some conversation. Lloyd says what he did was just self-defense and Hellkaros was also interested in using Lloyd's cries as a torture device in Purgatory lmao. At first, Lloyd thought it was just a weird dream, so he didn't pay any attention to it.

Of course, he later realized that it wasn't just a dream.

After they meet again in hell. Lloyd came to see him while Hellkaros was busy. Lloyd made a proposal that if Hellkaros listened to him, he would help Hellkaros achieve his goal, get off work. And that was the beginning of the whole story.

And after talking about the construction of the railway and various details for 20 minutes (that the Webcomic shortened it to just half a chapter), Hellkaros came to several conclusions from this conversation.

He is a smart guy who can quickly connect the dots. After living only work for 670,000 years without a break, he constantly worried and lived in hopelessness that one day he would have the same fate as the previous Hell King. That desperation disappeared after considering the benefits he would receive after accepting Lloyd's proposal. It's pretty simple, right? It's similar to how it's easy for people to fall in love with someone when they're in some difficult situations. To me, Hellkaros is like that (I mean it's similar...)

He will be able to live a life he has never been before in 670,000 years. He will be able to rest. He would no longer have to help those foolish Satans and work himself into pieces that he didn't have to do. He would be able to quit these sickening works that couldn't even be shared with the other Satans under his command at the castle. He would no longer end up like the old Hell King, and he would no longer have to worry about anything. These were all the enormous benefits he would receive if he accepted Lloyd's offer. Of course, with just a short conversation, Hellkaros would even want Lloyd to take his place. It didn't mean that Hellkaros wanted Lloyd to take over as Hell King. He didn't hate being the Hell King. It could be said that he preferred to do his own routine and let Lloyd do all of his work. It's like being a secretary.

So yeah. When people finally know the taste of freedom, we want to taste it more, right? I have to say that at first, he was just going to wait for Lloyd to die and come to Hell in order to work with him. How they portray og Lloyd's character??? Like, god excuse me Lee Hyunmin-nim, but what the hell??? Are you? ???????????

At first, I didn't think it would be this bad. What makes you think that Lloyd's mistreatment of Javier for so long was simply because he didn't know what to do when he was a kid, and he always wanted to be Javier's friend? I was quite interested in Lloyd's character. So this is it. FOR GOD'S SAKE, WHAT THE HELL??????????????

It was almost good, because, of course, he felt inferior to Javier when Arcos adopted him. It's normal for a 10-year-old to feel jealous and feel like they're about to steal their affection, especially if that child looks better than them in every way. And especially if they know that they will never be like that because they don't think they are good enough. Of course, that's just his own pov btw. I already know how much his family loves him. But that's what can happen, right? Because I don't like who I am also, and I know in my heart that my family loves me, but still🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

THEY EVEN CHANGED HOW TIME RUNS. What is the point. WHAT IS THE POINT??? How important is it to change it? How important is it? From 1 month = 1 day to 1 month = 1 hour?? I wonder if there's any need for you to change it. Are you making a new story or adapting it?

So, only after both of og lloyd and suho were on the train, before og lloyd got reincarnated btw ☺️ so we will see. What we were robbed just for half of chapter.

And what's more funny is how suho cares for og lloyd lmao this is the proof that shows us how good person he is. And. You know. Yeah I'd rather not talking about how they portray his character out like that I cannot shut up.

Man...the more I write, the more sad I become when these good things are replaced with something. I don't know, you thought it was boring so you changed it? Even if it's just an unnecessary conversation but you know what? That allows readers to get to know the characters more. Get to know the character's attitude more. And can also relate more to that character...but...sigh. just. Sigh.

So I'm going to share my views on og lloyd right here. Tbh, he's a trash. Yes, he's inherently bad. And some people are just that bad no matter how good their family is. But if you try to analyze it through lloyd's pov on his home and his family. It's another kind. He finds his place boring and he is always dissatisfied with it. But with the little information we've gotten about what he was like when he was very young, and things he's noticed, even he considers them very boring. Of course, even though this bitch is a trash lol I never forgive him for what he had done (like-hate relationship for me and him lol)

Okay so. Hear me out. He did care for his family (*ahem* JAVIER EXCLUDED!!!!) but instead of changing himself he chose to let it be....yeah ykwim🤷‍♂️ As I've said before, he cares about his family and he knows he shouldn't have done that in the first place. But he was not the one to even say it because he thought he would do it in his next life. What makes you think that he'll do whatever tf he does in the webcomic? And ;) they replaced these precious conversation with that. Changed long ass heartwarming conversation into 3 speech bubbles just to sped up the story and ooc'd literally every characters. I'm so okay sir. I'm completely okay.

Anyway, it's true that og lloyd cares about his family but, dumbass. he hated javier so much you know lee hyunmin-nim you already have read ch 408 how the hell did you manage to understand that 'wow this guy is actually a good person maybe he even wanted to be friends with javier too!'
