hello fellow neopians, a lot has happened in the past 4 days. i am full tilt into my brand new neopets obsession at 31 years old (cringe is dead).

i re-pounded the draik that i adopted earlier LOL. maybe i should've kept her but the name was so meh to me, plus i'm not a draik fan. i'd rather pound surf than linger on pet trading and stuff.

fell into customization hard yesterday. i never played with it before. i don't even remember it existing when i played the most as a kid so it's all new to me!! it adds so much character to your pet. love it

my customs downfall aligned perfectly with half price day so i bought a lot of stuff... sat there refreshing all the wearable shops. had a blast. restocking is kinda fun to do even though i stayed up until 3am doing it? may be something cool to try from now on?? but like, less obsessively. inflation might be too annoying to deal with on a regular basis though!

BIGGEST NEWS YET: i got a ffq from the event today!! and the quest item cost me less than 1k. freshly dipped, i present to you...

after considering all the pb prices i figured i should go hard or go home, so i chose Stealthy (which costs 13-15mil???) instead of the water, relic or maractite that i originally was considering. i'm v happy with this decision since i was undecided on what to paint Oaxun. stealthy kinda gives the same Vibe i was going for (something material). she's a pretty empty oc so now i feel motivated to start thinking up a backstory for her :))

5. ALSO nabbed a transparent tuskaninny from the pound. his name is all caps so it's not my favorite but y'know what? he deserves an all caps name so i can yell it to the heavens. i love this motherfucker. i love seeing his bones and guts. the open eyes were creepy though, we had to close those... transparent is an extremely cool color.

6. i'm trying to find a guild that revolves around ocs but i've had no luck before. someone even asked me what an oc was. please save me y'all, if anyone knows a (adults only) guild like this lmk!!! if it doesn't exist maybe we can make one!!!

Hello fellow Neopians of Tumblr. Got a question regarding stolen pets from a once hacked account.

My friend M just got their account back and noticed two of their pets were gone. One is a compound RW the other a RW with a suffix at the end.

She makes a ticket and gets Tony.

She was able to not only name the pets but tell him what they were and even had Neomails on the account for when the hacker traded them from when she wasn’t on.

Tony confirmed she was correct in all of this but his words

“The pets have been traded so much that it would be impossible to give them back”

This sounds like bullshit to me.

One is on an inactive account the other is frozen.

I think my friend should make a new ticket. Is there a way to request someone not as shitty? Because considering I got all four of my RW pets back without any issues this doesn’t seem right.

Hello friends. I am very delighted to welcome a guest blogger today. She is an expert on fighting everyday injustices that common Neopets face and how to handle those situations. She's my personal idol, and I am so honor to have her writing on my blog. Everyone, please welcome KarenPhD.

KarenPhD: Thank you, SpeakToManager. I am extremely happy to be here and help out our fellow Neopians. This will be a multi-part series. During this first part of the series we will be discussing what to do when your order at a shop is wrong. Lets begin.

It is important to remember that some of these shopkeepers are not the brightest starts in the Neopian sky. Whenever you approach them and place an order it is imperative that you speak slowly. Speak to fast, and you might as well expect something with Kau's milk. *laughs* Now if you receive the wrong order, remember to do the following:

FACE: Eliminate any happiness on your face.

DEEPEN YOUR VOICE: Your voice should sound like you

RAISE YOUR VOLUME: Everyone in the surrounding NeoHomes should be able to hear you.

Following these 3 steps should result in your issue being corrected. Let's have a scenario between A & B. A had just placed an order for a hamburger with no onions or cheese. When she received it, you guessed it, covered in cheese and onions_

A: EXCUSE ME, I placed an order for a hamburger without cheese or onions_ As you can see it is covered in cheese and onions_ Do you know I have a lactose allergy? Are you trying to cause me to end up sick?

B: Ma'am, I am so sorry. Please allow us to correct this, as well as give you back any neopoints.

This is the ideal scenario by following the FACE, VOICE, VOLUME method. However, nothing is perfect. If this method does not work, try it again. If nothing is done after a second encounter then you should immediately ask to speak to a superior, ideally a manager. Don't waste your time with those shift leads.
