WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION MAGAZINE :  MAY 1990
YOUTH, SPEED, & FURY
SHAWN MICHAELS FACES BRET “HIT MAN” HART
It promised to be a dream matchup. Bret “Hit Man” Hart and Shawn Michaels, components of the two of the World Wrestling Federation’s most dynamic tag teams-the Hart Foundation and the Rockers, respectively–agreed to test each other’s heralded ralents in a singles bout. What followed was a dazzling display of wrestling scientific and grueling combat. Even after the contest became inflamed to the point that the referee had to call for a double disqualification, each gladiator left with great respect for the other.
“I didn’t expect anything less.” stated the handsome Michaels, unwinding in the dressing room with his partner Maety Jannetty after the bell. “When you sign on the dotted line against Bret ‘Hit Man’ Hart, you sign to fight a hurricane. I had to give it all I had, and—if you ask me—I came out of the battle looking pretty good.” He touched a bump above his left eye and joked, “This’ll heal fine, and soon I’ll be breaking hearts again. But the first thing on my mind right now is Bret Hart. What I wouldn’t do to step in the ring with him again and gain a decisive victory!”
Several yards down the corridor, the mood was the same. Hart and teammate Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart looked at one another and grinned.
“Tough kid,” Neidhart muttered.
Hit Man shook his head. “He fought some match. My ears are still ringing from his punches. I’d love to say ‘I didn’t know he had it in him,’ but that’s not true. The reason I wanted this match is that I knew that Shawn Michaels is a fabulous wrestler. I’ll give him this: He knows how to mix it up. I guess next time I’ll have to play a little bit harder.”
In the stands, the fans were almost as winded. The bout had been so intense that it seemed to blur past the spectators. When one man applied a punishing hold, the other was quick with a counter. As soon as the referee broke a clutch, the grapplers were tangled up again. When the combatants decided to start bending the rules, nothing less than a four-man brawl—starring the Rockers and the Hart Foundation—followed.
“These guys didn’t let up for a single second, observed manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, normally on the opposite side of both competitors. “I’m not saying that either of these chumps could beat one of my men, but I still watched the match with interest. Because Hart and Michaels are similar types of wrestlers, I figured I’d see what they use against members of the Heenan family. That’s the key to smart managing, pal. Learn their repertoires and use the knowledge to your advantage.”
[Bret Hart showed his lightinglike reaction time and his quick reflexes by grabbing Shawn Michaels in a reverse atomic drop when the two ran the ropes.]
Heenan was intrigued by this contest. While the manager is short on praise for his foes, his interests in the Hart-Michaels confrontation can be interrupted as a compliment to both men. By taking meticulous notes on the match, Heenan sent out a clear message: Hart and Michaels are at the top of their profession and pose a threat to every other wrestler.
The information was not news to the battlers. The bout had come about through mutual respect, coupled with the desire to overcome a formidable challenge.
Michaels was clearly the hungrier of the two, and his thirst for greatness was understandable. In Hart he saw an accomplished athlete, solid in technical skills and proficient in fisticuffs, who had “made it” as both a singles and tag team grappler. With Neidhart, Hit Man had held the WWF Tag Team Championship. In individual competition, he had established himself as a contender for the WWF Championship and Intercontinental Titles, and he was even profiled in a special issue of WWF Wrestling Spotlight.
Hart was just as anxious to log a victory. Despite Bret’s apparent youth, he has grown into a hardened veteran of the mat wars, and he wanted to ensure that he had not grown rusty. Hit Man viewed Michaels as one of wrestling’s “new breed,” one who rebels against the conventions of ring combat and who improvises and innovations in each match. The moves utilized by the Rockers impressed Hit Man, and he admitted feeling twinges of envy. Hadn’t he also been labeled a spectacular new force in the early days of the Hart Foundation? From the dressing room entrance, Bret watched the Rockers wage war with the mountainous Powers of Pain. He was reminded of the Foundation’s brace encounter with Andre the Giant in the closing moments of Wrestlemania 2’s battle royal. He wanted a bout with Michaels, to test himself.
Rather than being divided in its loyalties, the crowd was solidly behind both wrestlers, giving each a rousing cheer as he made his way to the ring with his regular tag team partner. To offer moral support–or, perhaps, when two fiercely determined athletes square off–Jannetty and Neidhart remained at ringside after the bell rang.
The match began in a sportsmanlike fashion, and it seemed relatively even. They locked up collar-to-elbow, with Michaels backing Bret into the turnbuckles. The Rocker broke the hold, detaching himself from his foe. When they tangled again, Hit Man applied a reverse wristlock. Michaels wiggled, loosened his opponent’s grip, then slipped behind Hart and clamped on a hammerlock. Bret displayed his experience by reversing the maneuver.
The fireworks that would be seen later in the match were ignored in the manner in which Michaels broke the hold. He thrust his elbow backward into Bret’s throat. The gesture was hardly a whack with a closed fist or a kick to the rings, but it qualified as roughhousing.
Hart recovered swiftly. He caught the Rocker in a reverse atomic drop and leveled him with a meteor of a clothesline. A snapmare appeared to disable Michaels further, but the war was just beginning. Whether the Rocker had exaggerated his injuries or recovered from the brink of defeat by pure heart, he still will not say.
[Shawn Michaels struck with solid skill and dazzling moves. In the end, tempers flared, and a wild, full-fledged brawl ensued.]
What is known is that Michaels began fighting as if he had never been hurt. He slid out of the way of his foe’s elbowdrop and did some fancy spinning in midair to land on his feet after a backflip. Hart turned around to be blasted by a dropkick. Seeing Hit Man sprawled on the canvas, Michaels went for the kill.
His planning was premature. Bret waited for his opponent to mount the top rope before gripping him from underneath and hurling him across the ring. Possibly embarrassed by Michaels’ good showing, Hit Man got tough and unleashed forearms and elbows.
Tempers were starting to flare. Michaels contained his anger long enough to avoid a side suplex–doing a 360-degree turn while being lifted, landing on his feet and bodyslamming Hit Man. Again, both men ran the ropes. This time, it served neither’s advantage, as they elbowed on another and hit the mat simultaneously.
A classic moment occurs when they rose and took turns exchanging suplex attempts. The defensive skills of each were so refined that neither could accomplish his task.
Frustrated, they wrestled into the corner. Neither wished to break. Asserting his authority, the referee wedged between them. When separated, they could not wait to duel again. Words were exchanged, then shoves. Bret clocked his adversary. Jannetty stepped onto the apron to argue with– and then punch–Hit Man. Neidhart chimed in and was slugged by Michaels. Within seconds, the ring was flooded with WWF officials trying to restore order in a four-way free-for-all.
Remarkably, the bad feelings were left in the ring. Each man recognized the others gutsiness, and each will go so far as to compliment the rival tag team. Both the Rockers and the Hart Foundation pledge support for each other if it is needed.
But if it is not, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels cannot wait to tear into each other again.

Even more TLT characters playing league of legends
Part 1 is here
I left a lot of characters out in my first post cause I don't think babs would play league for an example, but I'm willing to make an effort and imagine this.
NABERIUS: Ezreal one trick. Never looks at matchups, picks Varus if Ez is picked or banned. Has 2 million mastery points, Ianthe always points it out when he misses a Q. Complains a lot in the chat, but will never be as mean as Ianthe. Plays with the twins cause otherwise he has no one to play with. Is platinum.
JEANEMARY: Vi main. Saw arcane (reason I didn't mention arcane on my last post was bc I think none of the characters there would be that crazy for arcane, they'd play league even before the boom), goes duo with Isaac and they try to emulate the professional calls of the sixth, but are too chaotic to do so. Types in chat to answer people flaming or to say "mb" about bag ganks. Is gold.
ISAAC: Zed and Akali main, Kayn if he's playing jungle. Despite his edgelord champion pool, is not very toxic. Goes duo with Jeanemary, they're about to get out of elohell. Types in the chat to ask for ganks or apologizing for bad plays. Is gold.
ABGAIL: Soraka main, but willing to play ADC if with Magnus. Knows exactly how to build for each game, wards the shit out the map, carries the team on her back, passive aggressive if she thinks someone's trolling. Does not buy skins. Plays 1 game per day and then goes back to work on her research. Types "GG :)" after every win. Is platinum.
MAGNUS: Support main, mostly Leona and Braum, he started playing to spend time with Abgail. Tower dives like it's nothing. Doesn't do runes, builds Solari every game. Once he played with Ianthe in his team, took him 2 weeks to turn chat on again. Types little jokes about the champions in chat, no one likes, except for Gideon. Is silver.
DULCINEA: She's a twitch streamer and all her donations are for hospital bills. People open her stream expecting her to be playing Lilia or other cute champion, she's playing Naafiri. Knows how to play almost every lane, likes to play flex with the sixth and the ninth. Usually chill in the chat, but if you tilt her, you're gonna read some ugly things. Is diamond.
PROTESILAUS: Toplane main. He's that guys who won't come out of the toplane for nothing, not even herald, you'll put your camera on him and he's laning peacefully and farming, it's 20 minutes of game, both botlane towers already fell. Plays Illaoi or Garen, usually appears on Dulcie stream but doesn't say anything. Never types in chat, is diamond.
THE EIGHTH HOUSE: I'll do this two in one take cause who even cares about the eight house. They're that jungle and top duo that won't leave you alone, with champs like Rumble and Zac, if you're bot or mid and they're on your team, prepare to play without a jungler. Sometimes, they'll have a discussion in the middle of the game and nothing will be done. Only type in the chat if not in voice call. Both are emerald.
I'll do the OG Lyctors later.

Ooo, you're doing Pokémon Matchups? Here's some info on me to get you started:
I'm a masc-aligned nonbinary individual who's currently in college to become a vet tech. I'm pretty down to earth and relaxed when it comes to most things and I'm not one to judge people right off the bat. I'm more of an introverted person and I love to play video games and mess around online; I also live in an area where it gets extremely cold, so a Pokémon who's able to handle the cold would be great!! My favorite types are Fairy and Dark, and I'm allergic to equines and have seasonal allergies, so Grass Type Pokémon might not be the best for me if they're plant-like
Thanks in advance!!
I can say from personal experience with the species that I think an Absol would be the perfect fit for you!
Tumblr media
In the wild, this Dark-type Pokémon makes its home in alpine regions, which makes them very well-suited to life in cold areas. While fairly friendly, Absol are rather reserved Pokémon who aren’t really known for being outwardly affectionate, though this can change drastically once they’ve warmed up to a person.
When it comes to grooming, Absol aren’t much different from other long-haired feline Pokémon: brush them two or three times a week (make sure to thoroughly comb out the mane and hair tuft) and clip their nails as needed. One warning though: whatever you do, do not touch an Absol’s horn without permission, even if you only intend to polish it. Just trust me on this.
Despite their reputations for heralding disaster, Absol aren’t all that dangerous. Wild ones can be a bit distrustful when it comes to humans, so I strongly suggest keeping that in mind if you decide to catch one rather than adopt/purchase one. I also recommend heeding any and all warnings your Absol gives you. Absol aren’t called the Disaster Pokémon because they cause disaster, they’re called that because they almost always sense disaster before anybody else. If your Absol seems to be trying to get you to leave an area, you should probably listen to them, doing so may just save your life.

THE NEW GODS
a very important meta, because it’s adding to the Worldbuilding. ( part 1 )
Tumblr media
ok, so there are obviously the Old Gods, which save for canonized mortals, divine messengers, and mewtwo, were all created by arceus. the old gods all have a few things in common:
a primordial form that includes “the allfather’s halo” which is a mark of being created by arceus
power that can’t be scaled actually, because it’s on a whole new level
the ability to negate “type matchup” while in primordial form
the divine messengers were created by the old gods, and everything on the list of canonized mortals is exactly what is on the label. all of those people have DIED and then got the divine label slapped on as like... an award for life deeds or something. mewtwo is an exception to everything, since this being was created by humans, but was recognized by the old gods without dying first, which is why mewtwo is counted under “god of the age of mortals”
Tumblr media
the new gods are different. the short version is that they are beings that are a blend of canonized mortals and divine messengers, but the power they gain skyrockets them to being equals of the old gods. and the new gods are created by the old gods, and it’s not fun.
new gods start out as human beings; there are no current records of pokemon becoming new gods as of yet ( but it isn’t impossible ). the one thing that all new gods seem to have in common is the fact that they spend a lot of time with possession of a divine relic. usually, this relic is gifted to them by an old god personally — like tobias wearing darkrai’s lunar shroud as a traveling cloak. tobias is a unique case because he is the reincarnation of a harmonia king, and the powers he possessed as sanivar passed to his new body, because basically he’s sanivar getting a chance to not supremely fuck up in life.
but for any other human, the divine relic grants supernatural powers which only grow as time goes on. the old gods keep a close watch on those who possess a divine relic, because they don’t want the wrong people to go through an ascension, because that would suck.
new gods usually have no idea that they’re even becoming new gods; they see the new powers as blessings, but they sure can develop god complexes. and unlike guardians of the gods (humans chosen to bear some of a god’s power after proving their worth) where the power level stays constant, or heralds of the gods (lovingly, i call them “arceus’ fucked up gijinkas”) who gain power through reincarnations before becoming the old god who is their patron, new gods also run the risk of Not Making It Through The Ascension. this is due to the strain of power in a human body. the human body isn’t meant to carry that, so really, those who make it to being a new god are uh. well, it’s sorta shitty, because it’s UNNATURAL. there’s no way around it.
new gods have powers much like the old god who put them through what honestly is pure hell. since this is technically also a post about tobias becoming a new god, his innate abilities to control shadows and dreamwalk just sorta end up being Even More Darkrai-ish than before. new gods are also granted a deity name when they ascend; tobias becomes “somnus, god of sleep”, darkrai remains “morpheus, god of dreams”.
new gods stop aging if they survive ascension, and much like the old gods, they are immortal unless killed with a godslaying weapon (few of which exist). however, they are more vulnerable than the old gods to injury, even if they’re more durable than mortals by far.
the number of new gods is ... not a lot. mostly because relics are not easy to find if they’re left lying around, and also people DIE in the process more often than surviving ascension. but, there are new gods that came before tobias, and there will be new gods that come after him; it’s just ... honestly a really shitty fate in a lot of ways. thanks for coming to my tedtalk

Jaguars Experts Share Final Analysis on Thursday Night Football Matchup vs. Saints
JACKSONVILLE – Each week during the 2023 season, Jaguars "experts" – Frank Frangie, Jeff Lageman, Brent Martineau, John Oehser, Brian Sexton, J.P. Shadrick and Kainani Stevens – will analyze the following day's Jaguars matchup.
Up this week:
The New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.
Frank Frangie, Radio Voice of the Jaguars
The Jaguars will win if: They run the football. At this writing, there was no word on whether the Jags will have Lawrence. If he doesn't play, or even if he does but has limited mobility, the team will have to rely a bit more on its running game. Which means a big game is necessary from Etienne. Even with a healthy Lawrence, this team is best when it has balance. Defensively, Brown or whoever replaces Campbell — who isn't expected to play — must play well because he will be targeted. That's a big key to the game.
The Saints will win if: They stuff the run and make the Jags one-dimensional – and if they can hit some big plays over the top. I don't think they will put together a lot of long drives.
As Frangie sees it: This is a tough out for the Jaguars. It's a short week, on the road, against a desperate team with a good defense. The Jags have to play a tough, efficient game to win.
Jeff Lageman, Jaguars analyst and former Jaguars defensive end
The Jaguars will win if: Their defense continues to make big plays. The Jaguars' defense leads the NFL in takeaways with 15 and continues to provide sparks for an offense that is still gaining momentum.
The Saints will win if: They have a fast start, getting the crowd going and putting the Jaguars in the position of playing catch up. The Saints' defense is impressive. With a lead, contending with it would be tough.
As Lageman sees it: Being the road team on a short week is very tough and will be a great test for a Jaguars team riding the high of a three-game win streak. The health of Lawrence's knee and the performance of his offensive line will be a huge factor in determining success. The entire league and nation is watching on Thursday night, and this presents a great opportunity.
Brent Martineau, Action Sports Jax Sports Director
The Jaguars will win if: Runing back Travis Etienne Jr. has over 120 yards from scrimmage. The Jaguars will need to effectively run against a good Saints defense. If they do, they can control the clock and set up big plays in the passing game. The Saints defense is allowing just 16 points per game, so anything north of 20 would be good.
The Saints will win if: They don't turn the ball over. In the last two years, the Jaguars have forced zero turnovers five times and lost all five games. New Orleans has eight turnovers this season, which is middle of the pack in the NFL. If the Saints don't let the Jaguars make a big defensive play, they likely win at home.
As Martineau sees it: The Jaguars are one of the hottest teams in the NFL and the Saints are one of the quirky teams in the NFL. I think it might be a weird game Thursday and probably a typical clunky Thursday night affair. I'm not getting off the Jaguars bandwagon right now so let's go with a 23-19 win.
Tumblr media
Jordan Herald/Jacksonville Jaguars
John Oehser, jaguars.com senior writer
The Jaguars will win if: They force multiple turnovers and hold the Saints to 20 points. Whatever Lawrence's status with a knee injury sustained last week in a victory over the Colts, the Jaguars figure to be limited offensively. This is a game for an opportunistic Jaguars defense to continue making key plays at key moments. If they can create points or short fields defensively, the Jaguars can overcome a slew of injuries.
The Saints will win if: They score in the red zone and pressure the Jaguars into mistakes. The Saints have been effective offensively between the 20s and they are a good defense. If they can score when they're close to the end zone and score three touchdowns, they will be tough to beat in what for them is close to a desperation game.
As Oehser sees it: This matchup is tough for the Jaguars for multiple reasons, only one of which is Lawrence's knee. They could be missing multiple starts, including Campbell, and they're playing a third game in 12 days. It will take a mammoth defensive effort for the Jaguars to win this one.
Brian Sexton, jaguars.com senior correspondent
The Jaguars will win if: They overcome key injuries. We can start with quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the offensive line. Lawrence must be on the field to give the Jaguars the best chance to win and he must have a clean pocket. Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell's hamstring is a problem this week against Saints wide receivers Chris Olave and Michael Thomas after Montaric Brown – playing in place of Campbell – struggled to keep up with Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman last week. Backups must play like starters on a short week.
The Saints will win if: Saints quarterback Derek Carr has time to stand in the pocket and find those receivers. Carr hasn't been the upgrade New Orleans thought they were getting, but we saw him with the Las Vegas Raiders last season and he's more than capable of taking advantage of your weaknesses. The Jaguars must attack him like they did Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew last week, because Carr is capable of beating you.
As Sexton sees it: This is a tough game to call. The Jaguars should be able to win a game with backup players; the Cleveland Browns won last week against the San Francisco 49ers with a journeyman backup quarterback who wasn't in their training camp and the New York Jets beat the Philadelphia Eagles with two backup cornerbacks. But this is the Jaguars' third game in 12 days on two continents and that's a lot to overcome.
J.P. Shadrick, jaguars.com senior reporter
The Jaguars will win if: They continue to play defense at a high level. They are now third in the league against the run, and that has led to teams giving them the ball to the tune of a league-high 15 takeaways. The offense has been effective at moments, but now is battling through some key injuries. Can they lean on Etienne and the running game as heavily as they have so far? Etienne leads the NFL in rushing attempts.
The Saints will win if: They can possess the football and cash in for touchdowns. The Saints have scored just over 18 points per game, so this is far from an explosive attack so far. If they take advantage of any changes in the Jags secondary with a veteran quarterback in Carr, the Saints could be on their way.
As Shadrick sees it: It is always difficult to travel for Thursday Night Football, especially with so many injuries for the Jaguars. If Lawrence can go, and stay out of harm's way, then the Jaguars have their best opportunity with a defense that is feeling it right now.
Kainani Stevens, Jaguars.com reporter
The Jaguars will win if: The defense continues to dominate. New Orleans' offense has struggled mightily with Carr and not much creativity in the passing game. If the Jags can continue to force turnovers, they put a lot of pressure on a struggling Saints offense.
The Saints will win if: Lawrence doesn't play or is seriously limited by his knee injury. Backup C.J. Beathard is certainly familiar with Head Coach Doug Pederson's offense but putting that into action in a hostile environment is an entirely different story. I think the Jags offense will struggle this week regardless of who is QB1 and it will end up being a defensive battle.
As Stevens sees it: I'll ride with the Jags. I don't think it will take more than one or two touchdowns to win this game. Anything the Jags can do to take the crowd out of it early will benefit them. I say Jags 13-10.

Changing the ratios of non millers really feels weird tbh. Like its super swingy because if you don't open them, you're likely to just mill them and not draw them past your first turn. You of course can shuffle back, but thats a shuffler down and you have to make sure the coast is clear. Either way, i'm fucking around Removed:
-1 Super Polymerization
-1 Foolish Burial Goods
-1 Herald of Orange Light
Super Poly is high ceiling when its live and in the right matchup, but a lot of dead matchups. Trying a single. Foolish Burial Goods just feels a bit to cute and win more, but i do like it better than running like RotA. So pulled down to a single so it can still unbrick hands. Removing it to bring it down to 40, and i don't want to make myself go -1 in hand for only a monster negate. Triggering effects is great, but theres just to much variety in the format after people increasingly play other decks again. Plus, people are still playing a lot of backrow decks where this does fuck all.
Added:
+2 Triple Tactics Talent
Trying again as i had too little of a sample size before. Might tinker with other board breakers if i don't like this.

Burn objects are an unusual sight to see in most League of Legends matches. Besides you've got a champion with a Hurt Over Time (DoT) package deal like Malzahar, Zyra, or Karthus, likelihood is excessive you gained to be as inclined to utilize them. It moreover is set by the matchup at cases. You perhaps wouldn’t take burn objects in direction of a bruiser like Mordekaiser consequently he would possibly merely shrug it off as if nothing occurred. Nevertheless, in circumstances the place they're useful, they could possibly be a nuisance to counter. The best burn objects one can discover inside the merchandise retailer are undoubtedly Demonic Embrace, Liandry’s Anguish, and Sunfire Aegis. These will ticker down your enemy’s well-being with out them even noticing.  Completely different burn objects which is likely to be pretty formidable to go up in direction of are Imperial Mandate, Bami’s Cinder, and Frostfire Gauntlet. Corrupting Potion might be superior burn merchandise used inside the early recreation to get that edge over your lane opponent. Once you get these items, it is principally practically poking your opponent with expertise and watching them scurry round to dodge them. Sooner than they discover they're already beneath the all-in threshold, you could go in and sweep up a kill for your self. So when you're desirous about taking up some DoT strategies, study ahead to understand how they work. Sunfire Aegis Sunfire Aegis is probably in all probability essentially the most talked about merchandise inside the recreation correct now. With it being constructed on various champion varieties along with assassins and bruisers, there could undoubtedly talk about it being overpowered. Nevertheless, what makes it overpowered is the amount of upkeep you get hold of together with its Immolate passive. The Immolate passive is activated when you get hold of or deal hurt. A fiery aura surrounds your champion, dealing 12-30 (+1% bonus well-being) magic hurt per second to close-by enemies for 3 seconds. Within the occasion you hurt enemy champions or purpose monsters (e.g drakes or rift herald), you get hold of an additional stack of Immolate. You can have as many as 6 stacks, and each stack will improve 10% hurt for 5 seconds. That is not all close to Sunfire Aegis though. In synergy with the Immolate passive, Sunfire Aegis moreover grants you a Flametouch passive. This allows you to deal per second Immolate hurt by the use of your major assaults for 3 seconds. Flametouch is routinely activated when you've got the utmost (6) Immolate stacks. So all you wish to do is attain essentially the most stacks and easily railroad anyone who will get in your means. Biggest Champions Sion, Ornn, Amumu, Nautilus, and Shen revenue in all probability essentially the most from this merchandise. Their tankiness combined with the passive hurt from Sunfire Aegis makes them into timeless meatshields. Although tanks revenue enormously from this merchandise, totally different champions like Akali and Diana have moreover been discovering good success with this merchandise. That's moreover attributable to its mythic passive that grants you 5% tenacity and sluggish resistance, and 50 well-being for each legendary merchandise you've got. You can try it out your self and see if it matches your playstyle. Frostfire Gauntlet The first merchandise that includes ideas when coping with annoying, mobile champions is the Frostfire Gauntlet. For those who're coping with a Vayne or Quinn excessive as a juggernaut/ tank, likelihood is excessive you gained’t be able to catching them with out this merchandise. It offers you the amount of well-being and totally different defensive stats, plus some further potential haste to get your expertise off further cases in commerce. Frostfire Gauntlet has considered one of many comparable passives as Sunfire Aegis, Immolate. Immolate prompts as rapidly as you get hold of or deal hurt, creating an aura that gives magic hurt to these round you.
This affect is 150% extra sensible in direction of monsters and stays for 3 seconds (if not reactivated as soon as extra). The other passive your champion receives by the use of Frostfire Gauntlet is Snowblind. Every time you assault a purpose, it'll create a sluggish zone round them. The zone slows all of the issues that strike by the use of it, slowing melee champs by 25% whereas it slows ranged attackers by 12.5%. The sluggish zone lingers for 1.5 seconds till reactivated, and presents bonus magic hurt to all of the issues that cross by the use of it. The sluggish affect will probably be elevated based mostly totally on champion max well-being. Biggest Champions Although Sunfire Aegis has gained recognition, Frostfire Gauntlet has been the go-to merchandise for tanks for a number of years. It's as a result of it helps decelerate your purpose while you auto-attack them to dying. Champions that revenue in all probability essentially the most from this merchandise are Urgot, Poppy, Dr Mundo, Shen, and Tahm Kench. Demonic Embrace Demonic Embrace is your favorite 2nd merchandise in case your elementary is each Malzahar or Swain. The Prophet of the Void and Noxian Grand Frequent will with out fail assemble this as their second merchandise majorly because of the sluggish burn it offers. It is even greater when you're up in direction of champs with extreme max well-being as a result of it does scaling hurt. Demonic Embrace supplies you with a base enhancement of +60 potential vitality and +450 well-being. The very important concern is it’s passive. The first passive, Azakana Gaze, presents potential hurt to the purpose by the use of the DoT burn. This hurt is 1.8% for melee and 1% for ranged clients' max well-being hurt for 4 seconds. This suggests the higher their well-being is, the additional burn hurt they will endure. The second passive might be good, however not as important. The Darkish Pact grants the wielder 2% of their max well-being as potential vitality. This usually is a pleasant surge of potential vitality for Swain notably. Biggest Champions For those who want to use demonic embrace, potential poke mages could possibly be your biggest wager. Via long-range expertise, you probably can merely drain the enemies’ well-being bar whereas they stand there, trying to dodge your assaults. Champions like AP Miss Fortune, Swain, Malzahar, Amumu, and Aurelion Sol have the perfect utilization for this merchandise and will undoubtedly change the tempo of the game. Liandry’s Anguish Our third mythic on the document, Liandry’s Anguish, has been a mage favorite ever since its launch. The passive DoT is insane normally as you probably can chip off just some p.c of the enemy’s well-being bar every time your expertise come off cooldown. Paired with Demonic Embrace, it could develop right into a learner’s worst nightmare. Liandry’s Anguish supplies you with a base enhancement of +80 AP, 600 further mana, and +20 potential haste. These not solely help in dealing further hurt and persistently pricing your merchandise passives, nonetheless, the additional mana moreover helps in sustaining your self inside the lane. In some other case, you could have to keep up visiting the underside to refill your mana bar. The first passive, Agony, permits the buyer to deal as a lot as 12% bonus magic hurt to champions based mostly totally on their bonus well-being. That's capped at 1250 bonus well-being. The second passive, Torment, causes targets to burn for 12.5 (+1% AP) (+1% max well-being) magic hurt every time they're hit by damaging expertise. This passive stays on for 4 seconds which implies, if used repeatedly, can get your enemy laner’s well-being bar inside one-shot fluctuate. Biggest Champions Liandry’s is an excellent mythic to have for any mage, even burst ones in some eventualities. Nevertheless, the champions that revenue in all probability essentially the most from the additional base stats and passives are Karthus, AP Miss Fortune, AP Ashe, Teemo, Morgana, and Ziggs.
Their expertise have a giant hit radius’ and fast cooldowns, which implies they will persistently activate Liandry’s passive. The mythic passive helps with that as a result of it offers +5% potential haste for each legendary merchandise. Bami’s Cinder The one tier 2 merchandise on our document presently is Bami’s Cinder. Now, we talked in regards to the Immolate passive every Sunfire Aegis and Frostfire Gauntlet have. That passive actually originates from Bami’s Cinder. Nevertheless because it is not wanted that you just enhance Bami’s Cinder into each of the two, we're considering it as a separate merchandise. Bami’s Cinder offers the buyer 300 further well-being. Other than that, it moreover has the Immolate passive. The Immolate passive prompts as rapidly as hurt is accomplished or taken by the buyer and creates a dangerous topic round them. This damaging topic presents magic hurt to the enemy or neutral gadgets round it, for 3 seconds. There could also be nothing too explicit about this merchandise considering it is a tier 2 merchandise and bought to be upgraded. The third path for upgrading Bami’s Cinder is the Turbo Chemtank. Nevertheless, in that path, the Immolate passive is was Refuel, in distinction to the other two mythic objects. Biggest Champions There usually are not any biggest champions for Bami’s Cinder other than individuals who use Frostfire Gauntlet, Sunfire Aegis, or Turbo Chemtank. Searching for it in some other case could possibly be a waste of gold as you may should advertise as the game progresses. Imperial Mandate Imperial Mandate is the one help mythic we have on our document presently. The most effective methods to decelerate your enemy’s improvement is Imperial Mandate. It offers clients +40 AP, +200 well-being, +20 potential haste, and +100% base mana regen. As you probably can see, the merchandise is centred round further sustainability and base mana regen along with outright mana or additional AP. Imperial Mandate’s passive, Corrupting Fireside, is activated solely on expertise that sluggish or immobilize enemy champions. Subsequently, poke expertise like Swain’s Q will not procure this merchandise’s passive. Immobilizing or slowing expertise deal 45-75 bonus magic hurt and mark the purpose for 4 seconds. Allies can detonate this mark to deal further magic hurt and obtain a movement tempo improve for 2 seconds. Biggest Champions As a result of the passive is constructed throughout the hurt of two champions, helps are advisable to buy this merchandise. Identify, help Maokai, Renata Glass, and Janna revenue in all probability essentially the most from this merchandise. Corrupting Potion The ultimate merchandise on this document is likely to be in all probability essentially the most used out of all. Bought as starting merchandise, Corrupting Potion is an excellent option to have in your pocket when you occur to take fast trades all by way of the game. It has 3 prices and refreshes every time you go to the shop. When activated/ consumed, it restores 100 well-being and 75 mana over 12 seconds. All through this time, when you occur to assault using major assaults or expertise, the purpose is burned for 15 magic hurt over 3 seconds. The affect is diminished to 50% when triggered by house of affect expertise. Now, this may not appear to be loads of hurt nonetheless if you find yourself at all times dealing these small chunks of hurt, you'll discover a distinction in your well-being bar as compared along with your opponent’s. Biggest Champions The best champions to buy Corrupting Potion on are individuals who wrestle with mana all by way of the lane. Since this supplies you keep whereas shopping for and promoting, moreover, you'll want to commerce favourably when your Corrupting Potion is energetic. Champions like Tahm Kench, Cassiopea, Illaoi, Malphite, and Nasus obtain the perfect revenue out of this merchandise. Most of them are excessive laners and solely wish to fret about their opponent laners, so Corrupting Potion will improve in usefulness.
The Takeaway Burn objects are undoubtedly gratifying to play with. They are going to irritate your enemies by making them ought to recall every jiffy to regain well-being. For those who're looking for to play a DoT approach, ensure your champion's package deal synergizes successfully with it. A mix of the DoT package deal plus just some of these items may make your opponents assume twice about coming wherever near you. #Prime #Burn #Devices #League #Legends #LoL #Full #Data

5 Must-Watch Matches During Final Week of 2023 LCS Spring Split
Tumblr media
The 2023 LCS Spring Split is almost seven weeks old, and just one superweek is left to determine which six North American League of Legends teams will advance to the playoffs. Although though three teams have already qualified for the postseason, there will undoubtedly be a fierce competition among the other teams for the three open spots with only three days left. Moreover, three clubs that have identical 7-8 records and are all two games back of fourth place are tied for fifth place. Each match matters and every win will be the difference between a possible championship run or an early vacation. Here are all of the biggest matches to keep up with when the final LCS Spring Split superweek begins on Wednesday, March 15. FlyQuest vs. Cloud9 Photo by Colin Young-Wolff via Riot Games The first match of the week isn’t between two teams fighting for their playoff lives, but it is a rematch between the two best teams in the league and two of the tournament favorites. With Berserker and Prince colliding in the bottom lane once again, this game should be a great way to launch some fireworks to open up the festivities. C9 and FlyQuest also enter the superweek tied for first place at 12-3. TSM vs. 100 Thieves Photo by Robert Paul via Riot Games As two of the three teams tied for fifth, this matchup will be one of the most important for playoff implications. TSM and 100 Thieves need every win they can muster over these three days, and if they can help push down their closest competition at the same time, it’ll be an even greater win in the long run. 100 Thieves have been pretty inconsistent with their play over the course of the Spring Split, but they are coming off two wins to help drive some momentum in their favor, while TSM have only won two of their last six matches during the second half of the split. It might be a tough hill to climb for the black and white, but at the height of the playoff rush, any player can crumble or rise to the occasion, whether you’re a veteran like WildTurtle or a rookie like Tenacity. Golden Guardians vs. CLG Photo by Oshin Tudayan via Riot Games/ESPAT Golden Guardians were the hottest team in the league after they strung together a massive seven-game win streak through the middle of the season. But after suffering losses to Team Liquid and 100 Thieves, this underdog squad have seemingly cooled down right before the decisive final week of the split. CLG, on the other hand, have been as inconsistent as they come after showing flashes of greatness among the smattering of winless weeks they had this spring. As two of the streakiest teams in the LCS, one squad will need to catch fire quickly if they wish to rise above the clump of teams clawing their way into the postseason. CLG vs. Team Liquid Photo by Tina Jo via Riot Games Liquid’s Spring Split might come to an abrupt end, even though they were heralded as one of the more hyped rosters coming into 2023. With names like Summit, Pyosik, and CoreJJ joining forces with head coach Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-hwan, many people had this lineup as a bonafide top-five finisher. But after a disappointing season, they are on the verge of missing the playoffs entirely. If they want to make the postseason, they’ll need to win every single game they have this week. There’s even a chance that they could be sent home after winning all three games since they could realistically be placed in a tiebreaker situation with one of the other teams vying for those coveted fifth and sixth-place positions. 100 Thieves vs. Evil Geniuses Photo by Colin Young-Wolff via Riot Games Evil Geniuses represent the toughest match of the week for 100 Thieves, but they need to find every win as they come. The last time the Thieves took on the Geniuses, fans were treated to a 44-minute brawl that ended in an anti-climactic backdoor, leaving Doublelift and Bjergsen stunned in their seats for a few moments. In this match, the veteran pair must bring all of their knowledge and preparation to bat as they take on one of the best teams in the league. 100 Thieves’ early game has been their weak point so far this split, which could be a recipe for disaster considering EG has the highest average gold difference at 15 minutes in the league, according to Oracle’s Elixir.
