ok but fully ignoring the whole Julian Autumn Wes love triangle pb kept trying to force in hss prime (& then 'resolved' in choices), Wes x MC is Thee hss prime ship of all time

#pb may insist upon a love triangle but Autumn has WAY more chemistry w Koh than she does w Wes and Julian COMBINED #her crushes on Wes & Julian feel very comphet of her #really hate that choices hss just puts them right back in that love triangle #anyway Wes and Simon r so good together. I would like to thank my parents for never giving me a ride to school, the city bus driver who took a chance on an unknown student, and last but not least, the wonderful crew from McDonald’s who spend hours making those egg McMuffins without which I might never be tardy.

‘Not to be an OG HSS kiss-ass again but I really do consider the OG HSS MC to be among some of the best MCs in Choices. I love how flexible they are in their character– how the story gives you a lot of room to personalize and characterize them in your own way, yet it doesn't diminish the storytelling and relationships. I love how much agency you get with them– how many impactful choices you get to make with them, from the extracurriculars to whether or not you keep Koh's secret, to how you treat the Hearst kids. I love that they get to be proactive in the story and are allowed to be a badass, unlike the many naïve passive damsel MCs that we get a lot of the time. Sure, they're not that realistic or relatable to most teens. Sure, they have one or two Mary-Sue traits. Sure, they don't have a distinct personality or character arc. But you know what? That's okay! All of those can be overshadowed by the fact that I can still characterize this MC however I like. Their personality, their arc and development– that's all up to me. OG HSS MC is proof that MCs don't always need pre-set traits in order to be good MCs.’
