i was finally able to have the house to myself for a bit today... brought all my dirty dishes out of my room and was able to tidy up a little bit without feeling weird

been looking in tags for a few days now to see if anyone else found the whole high cloud quintet and related story to be a bit.....poorly written, nonsensical, contradictory, full of plot holes and loose ends, etc. apparently i'm not the only one. (and i'm not even talking about shipping stuff, because any time I saw someone mad about bad writing, someone always replies to be homophobic and laugh about failed ships. weirdos.) it could have been so good but was thrown into the garbage for the most part (IF you noticed all the plot holes and contradiction. if not, then it's a fine enough story tbh. I expect most people to see it on surface level and not read all the little hidden lore bits and try to piece it together like my autistic brain did. which is ok! enjoy it if you liked it and ignore me 😆)

Aaaaa social situations hard

#he speaks #im in a social NIGHTMARE lmao #its my gf's sisters bday #and this event was described as a “family dinner” #which im like oki cool dinner with gf's mum and two sisters #but them i found out it was not that #it was in fact not only with her mum's new boyfriend #it was being held AT THE BOYFRIENDS PARENTS HOUSE WITH THEM THERE #and just to make matters worse #her mum was running late to the thing so i was like nuh uh we waiting outside til the mum gets here #but apparently her mum called the boyfriends parents to TELL THEM we were outside #and so the parents WALKED DOWN THE STREET TO LOOK FOR US AND BRING US INSIDE WITHOUT ANYONE ELSE THERE #so i had to make awkward conversation with these people IVE NEVER MET #then they arrived #but halfway through food something happened and gfs mum had to go home to get something for the sister #and my gf was staying in the bedroom with her sister #LEAVING ME ONCE AGAIN ALONE WITH THE RANDOM PEOPLE #i am now sitting next to them on the couch on my phone while yheyre watching avatar 2 #i want to leave #but we cant until gfs mum comes back #which could take anywhere from 10 mins to another hour #depending on how long it takes to find the thing #fuck this is awful im stressing so much my anxiety is BAD #not bad enough for it to show on my face or anything #but still internally im SUFFERING

I'm mad at myself that I didnt end up telling the person looking at my ear about my concerns about taking too many pain pills, and didn't ask questions about anything really. That always happens, I never feel 100% satisfied when I visit someplace medical. Theres always a huge chunk of Care missing. They rush and I feel like a bother.

I hate to say it but if I didn't have my mum with me I'd be useless. I wouldn't have even gone because there would be too many unknown factors in the situation. Shoulda taken her with me while getting looked at, but theres shame involved with almost being 30 and not being able to advocate for myself.

Let’s talk life series spoiler etiquette on this blog. For me, specifically, you won’t really need to worry about this, it’s just a slight change of schedule.

So, same as I decided back in limited life. 12 hours off from the usual upload time on the day of/after a session. 9am aest (not aedt, that’s not a mistake) instead of the usual 9pm. That gives enough time for people to watch. Even then, tonight I’ll probably aim for a solo tango screenshot and I try not to get anything too exciting in a tango until later on.

If anyone has any suggestions about stuff I could do better, let me know! And if you have submissions, send those in too, asks and submissions are both open!
