I am being smeared as a "predatory transphobe" to hundreds of thousands of people by Rainbow Passage, a so-called "trans rescue" nonprofit that's covering up its safety failures and misconduct by attacking me and placing my family in danger. Deliberately.

There's a headline I'll bet you never thought you'd see on this blog, and you can be sure I never expected to write it, but here we are. I want you to hear about it from me first before the smear campaign against me poisons your feed.

Regular readers know that I've been fighting for LGBTQ+ civil rights for nearly 40 years, with an emphasis on mobilizing against the "trans panic" sweeping America the past two years, the horrific laws already in place, and the stark plans for eradication laid out in Project 2025. The notion that I'm "transphobic" in any way is absurd. But -

Three weeks ago, YouTube streamer trolls went to the Rainbow Passage website - their unsecured, login-free website - looking for dirt that could bring their operations to a halt. They found my picture and bio listed as a director for the organization.

That was all they needed, and in short order I was the star of several full-length videos and livestreams featuring breathless, jeering takes on my kink life, my history, my family, my age, my AIDS, my September 11th survival (suddenly I was "running the organization" and "hosting 9/11 reenactment roleplays!"), my looks, my unsuitability to be involved with a trans rescue organization, and everything you can imagine a middle-school playground would highlight. At this writing, I've been held out for ridicule, harassment, and threats ("it's time for this dogfucker to be euthanized") to a quarter-million people and counting.

Why?

Because Rainbow Passage failed to implement even the most basic security on that website, despite my multiple warnings in board meetings that this scenario was likely to happen and that we were prime targets for this kind of abuse.

To be honest, everything that the streamers made fun of me for has been said and done to me a thousand times a year for the past 30 years. Heard it all before, nothing new, just the same old "lookit the AIDS-ridden perv faggot old man pretending to be a dog, hurr durr hurr durr!". All those hours of video and they couldn't come up with anything new? These people need better writers.

Here's the issue: Two of the leaders of this sad and tiresome brigade (one named "Blowcockx" or something equally clever, the other one is discussed below) seized on a recent exchange I had with a group of leftist "Trans For Trump" (yep, you read that right) that was mobbing me on Bluesky for objecting when someone referred to Biden as "Genocide Joe". These people were vile and vicious, saying that my gender was "shit beard" and lobbing remarks and insults at me that would make a MAGA blush.

One of the Bluesky mob (who may or may not have been transgender) said, "Prove you're an activist," to which I countered, "Okay, prove you're trans." (Screenshots of my three additional replies referencing "fake trans" to their accusations of my being a "fake activist" and other vomitous epithets, along with screenshots of the posts to which I was replying, can be found after the jump.)

During the mob attack on me and Rainbow Passage. a disgruntled former member of the Rainbow Passage community - a 20-year-old trans girl who had first warned me about the YouTube hijacking and who leaked my personal identifying information and private chats with her to the Twitter trolls and worse - went to Clearsky and harvested my replies without the posts I was replying to, leaked them to the YouTube streamers and Twitter trolls, along with selected portions of our lengthy private chat from Discord, then threatened Rainbow Passage with another attack if they didn't "denounce" me and my replies to the disgusting attacks on me by the Trans Trumpers of Bluesky.

To prove her point, this young trans woman and her girlfriend started a thread about me on Kiwi Farms, where I was the featured post for about a week, and told Rainbow Passage that the same would happen to them - and worse, including the revocation of their nonprofit status with the IRS and the end of their ability to raise funds - if they didn't publicly condemn me for my Bluesky attack replies.

And what did the oh-so-courageous chairwoman and board members who "cared so much" about me, do in response to those threats?

They caved. They capitulated. They allowed a troubled individual with an axe to grind and her little gang of fake-outraged trans shitposters to dictate their handling of a serious and sensitive matter where a former director of the organization and his family were in active danger and under siege. These people, who claim to have the bravery to "rescue" endangered trans people from Texas and Florida, folded like a cheap tissue-paper prom dress, revealing their utter lack of integrity, ethics, or courage.

The statement Rainbow Passage put out, which at this writing has been seen by at least 60,000 people on Twitter alone, is filled with false accusations about my attitude toward the transgender members of the LGBTQ+ community, outright lies about my character and conduct, weirdly characterizes me as a predatory stalker, and warns the general public that I am a bad, bad person who should be avoided and shunned as unfit for decent people in a civilized society. They provide ZERO evidence to support any of their claims against me, their accusations and assertions about me, or their characterization of me as "transphobic."

From my statement below: "Rainbow Passage knew that issuing this statement would intensify the threats, harassment, and stalking of me and my family. They issued it anyway. This statement is a willful and malicious act of violence.

"Rainbow Passage caused a queer elder with AIDS to be featured on a website known for harassing LGBTQ+ people to death and driving them from their homes, while smearing him to hundreds of thousands of people and inciting attacks on him and his family - but they want you to trust them to keep our most vulnerable members safe from harm."

If Rainbow Passage can't and won't protect their own staff (and volunteers, and clients) from harmful exposure to malicious attackers online and IRL, and shifts blame for their failures and lapses of care onto the staff members while caving to threats from random kids, how can they be trusted to keep the most vulnerable members of this community safe from harm during one of their "rescue" missions? If something goes wrong and that client ends up in jail, will Rainbow Passage blame the client for that outcome the same way they're blaming me for their colossal failure to keep their own people safe?

Rainbow Passage's rank AIDSphobia, their calculated smear of a four-decade veteran LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS activist, their capitulation to threats from an under-21 trans Kiwi Farms shitposter with an axe to grind, and their hateful, craven, deliberate act of putting my family and me in physical danger, show them to be not only a collection of unwise and uncaring individuals who have abused me and betrayed my trust: The current chairwoman, board, and staff of Rainbow Passage are manifestly and utterly unfit to run this organization. They are not capable of keeping our most vulnerable members out of harm's way, they should not be regarded as worthy of our trust in any way, personally or professionally, and the organization needs to be stripped of its nonprofit status and must cease operations so that a new LGBTQ+ and trans rescue group can quickly be established and get to work.

STATEMENT OF ANIMAL J. SMITH REGARDING THE RAINBOW PASSAGE SMEAR CAMPAIGN

These allegations are false. Rainbow Passage is deliberately and maliciously spreading lies about me to hundreds of thousands of people on this and other platforms in a calculated smear campaign to cover up their reckless disregard for the safety of their vulnerable clients and their failure to protect them. To date, they have provided no explanation or evidence of "transphobic rhetoric and behavior" on my part. They failed to protect me, a former director of the organization, from sustained and brutal online harassment, threats, doxing, and stalking that began more than three weeks ago and continues unabated with the active encouragement of chair Amy Nicole Check and the members of the board, putting me and my family in danger of being driven from our home and causing major distress and disruption to our lives and health.

On Saturday, April 13th, I received word that the Rainbow Passage website had been targeted by YouTube streamers who had seen a rival say good things about the organization and went to the website to find information that would "expose" Rainbow Passage. The trolls found my name and photograph, then went into my public-facing social media and began streaming about me and my life and work.

In several lengthy videos and livestreams, the YouTube trolls held me and my family up for sustained public ridicule, humiliation, and targeted harassment, spreading to more than a quarter-million people details about my personal life, my sex life, my family, my being a survivor of September 11th, the fact that I have AIDS, and every other aspect of my life and history that they could harvest. Although my social media is largely public by design, the contents were never intended to be stolen and distributed to thousands in a malicious manner designed to damage me.

The only reason I was targeted and humiliated in this way is that I was a director for Rainbow Passage and was discovered when the organization's unsecured, login-free website was targeted - a scenario I had warned them about on multiple occasions. Despite my warnings, no security measures were ever implemented. On Monday, April 15th, I resigned my position due to Check's exploding at me in an unprovoked torrent of verbal abuse during a call that afternoon.

My work as an LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS activist over the past 38 years (including ACT/UP, Queer Nation SF, AIDS quarantine initiatives, medical cannabis, marriage equality, and prisoners with AIDS) is well known and has always included advocacy for the transgender community. In fact, I have prioritized trans rights activism in response to the rising tide of hatred toward transgender Americans, and I have received support from people in the transgender community who know me and have seen me in action as an activist and a friend.

After an initial offer of help that wouldn't come for a full week, I said that my family and I were in immediate danger, that this was happening solely because I was part of their organization, and that their security failure was to blame. They then instantly denied any responsibility, blamed me for the situation, and withdrew their offer of help. I have been told that they are aware of the ongoing harassment and cyberbullying being directed at my family and me. They knew that this statement would intensify the threats, harassment, and stalking of me and my family. They issued it anyway. This statement is a willful and malicious act of violence.

Rainbow Passage was threatened by the leaders of these attacks that if they did not "denounce" me they would face the loss of their tax-exempt status and worse. As part of the threat, I was featured on the front page of the notorious Kiwi Farms website, a 4chan-like forum known for driving their LGBTQ+ targets into hiding and to suicide.

Rainbow Passage caused a queer elder with AIDS to be featured on a website known for harassing LGBTQ+ people to death and driving them from their homes, while smearing him to hundreds of thousands of people and inciting attacks on him and his family - but they want you to trust them to keep our most vulnerable members safe from harm.

These liars want you to believe the fiction that a four-decade LGBTQ+ activist is a predatory transphobe. They think you'll fall for the stories they're telling and approve of the damage they're causing. What nerve. Their contempt for me - and for you - has no place in our community or in our lives.

AITA for being too impatient and prickly when it comes to roleplay responses?

I know the title of this is wild as well as the concept, but ain't no way in hell I'm posting this to reddit, so I felt this blog is the suitable place for this sort of post. I'm an autistic 24 year old and I genuinely cannot tell if I am being an ass or not.

I'm in a roleplay server with a lot of other people, think the server is 800~ people so yeah lot of room for 1 on 1 or group roleplay- and right now I am in a thread with four others, three of which respond reasonably well within 1-2 days which is fine, people have a life and I recognize that.

But then there's the other guy, who I'll just call "Jay". They take nearly over a week to respond to a near time-sensitive roleplay with our characters currently in danger, i don't mind if it takes a day or two but after that I like to remind: "hey can a get an eta at a response?".

"in school" (its a saturday for the both of us). And then I wait for 24 hrs because yeah school, homework, jobs etc come first but it gets to the point where a week goes by and it's just so frustrating so I ping of "pls reply xxx" (obviously in a joke way) but Jay gets snippy with me, but here's the absolute kicker: Jay frequently responds to other roleplays their other characters are in but leaves out our thread.

It has gotten to the point where I asked the DM of this specific thread (as its plot/story related to play npcs and kick the plot along) to just skip Jay which they do. But at the same time I just wonder: "I'm too impatient? Am I being an asshole about fictional text post roleplay?"

I genuinely cannot tell and being on the spectrum ain't helping deduce this. I want to make it clear we all want the RP to continue because it's too far along and characters outside the plot are noticing my character is "missing" so it'll just feel like an utter waste to void it.

Also I do want to say that I usually wait 1-2 days before doing a reminder ping, I too take either a few hours or 1-2 days to reply or if its gonna take a bit longer I usually always alert the RP partner(s) that it may take longer. This self-rule applies to everyone I rp with. But I can't help that I'm being too impatient here, so tumblr:

this is an independent roleplay ask blog (wow that’s a mouthful)

lucifer usually types out his own replies and ocassionally as an editor over his shoulder (me). lucifer knows he’s speaking with the living world but doesn’t know he’s in the show called ‘hazbin hotel.’

⭑ CRITICISM.

i answer a lot of asks in the day meaning i’ll likely make typos so do be kind if you spot them! i will only be taking constructive criticism into consideration. this blog is only my second shot at roleplaying so apologies if there are any issues!

⭑ PORTRAYAL.

lucifer will be portrayed as i see fit. he can be silly and kind towards lighthearted asks. inversely, he can be serious towards other asks, but please remember to separate me from the character.

⭑ ASK RULES.

NSFW is okay on my blog, seeing as lucifer is also quite open to the idea. excessively troll / low effort asks (e.g. i have had TONS of asks just saying ‘bald’) will be ignored as it does take time and energy out of me to tap into the character’s voice when i answer these.

this one’s specific and it is actually the reason i had to do a heavy update on my guidelines, but; i have had people come into my inbox saying they take pleasure in indulging in the following : dr*gs, m*rder, ab*se, s*icide, sh, and more along these lines. asks like these aren’t allowed unless you’re clearly joking or using it as an expression. however, merely mentioning these topics IS allowed. i understand some people will still not be comfortable seeing it being used as such, but as someone who’s had experience in the last three topics listed, i’m not easily fazed and do not wish to censor this blog too much. here are some examples of what i do not allow :

the rest is only the obvious : i will not condone homophobia and racism, and will not be entertaining asks over political views.

however, if you are suffering from s*icidal thoughts or sh and you cannot refrain from sending me an ask about it, please at the very least provide me a way to contact you in private so as to not trouble others viewing this blog.

✧.｡. *. hello! i'm kylie and i'm twenty-three years old. i've been roleplaying off and on since i was eleven. i'm currently looking for more roleplay partners. however, i have work and college so need people who understand replies might take some time - though i always do my best to communicate. i also love partners who love plotting and headcannoning.

some of my requirements are:

i prefer using discord for starters. i feel like it keeps everything more organized and we're able to write a lot more.

i'm fine with doing doubles! however, i will not continue the roleplay if one side is always longer than the other. i expect replies to be fair.

tell me your triggers and i'll do the same. some of my characters have mature topics in their backgrounds and while i don't mind certain things, there are things i will never roleplay such as sh, suicide, sa.

if we are roleplaying a show, i tend to stick cannon and insert my oc in. i don't use plots a whole lot, just kind of come up with ways my oc fits in.

please understand it can take me weeks to reply to a decent length roleplay. i prefer sending out a quality roleplay rather than just replying as quick as possible. if you can't respect this, don't start a roleplay with me.

Introducing: The OtherWorld

The OtherWorld is a "DND-inspired roleplaying game" that I've been wanting to start with writeblr. Here are the basics of the game...

Title: The OtherWorld Genre: Horror Central Themes: mental illness, perception vs truth, the need for control vs how much we actually have, the fear of not having control

The basic rundown of the game is that there are people that are deemed "mentally ill" for various reasons (similar to the real world - hallucinations, talking to themselves, spouting "nonsense"), but it turns out that these people aren't as "crazy" as they may seem and instead, they have abilities people without mental illnesses don't have. They can see, hear things that they can't, etc.

So, one particular person (run by me) has been spouting lately about how the world is a story, written by these evil overlords and nothing is really what it seems.

Of course, many people write them off but they're so convincing, some actually believe.

Writers are the Big Bad in this story. I will be the actual Big Bad (because running game), but I will also let any player that wishes to be a character in the game also be one. I will give you the choice if you want me to write you or if you want to be your own character.

Of course, with one of the big themes being lack of control, writers will have a lot more control than the characters in the story.

So how is this inspired by DND?

Here's the gameplay that I envision.

I write a scene. Characters will take their turns deciding how they want to interact with the scene. I roll a die (or two), which will determine how successful the action is. If it ends up being too small a roll, then the character will do something else or will be evaded in their action.

NOW.

Each character will have their own "success roll number." This will be determined by a roll at the beginning of the game.

Since I'm doing the rolls, I'll let the players decide if they want me to announce the numbers that are rolled and what the roll needed for each character is or not. Full transparency is what I want. :)

Ummm, each writer will also have their own number but it'll be lower than the characters (or should be). I'll probably roll one die for the writers and two for the characters or something. Idk yet.

Anywho!

I'll probably give writers like a few days to a week to pick what their characters do (I'll tag the writer who's up to make sure they know they're up)... and if they don't reply within the time designated, they'll be auto skipped and it'll go to the next character.

I'll probably have 2 taglists. One is the players and one for anyone that just wants to read it. :]

I'll be running this game on this blog. I need more original writing content on here.

Oh! And when making your characters, you don't need to give them stats or anything but you do need to let me know if your character is a believer or a skeptic (do they believe what the mentally ill say or do they not).

(Okay, hear me out—I realize this pairing might seem a bit out there, but humor me for a moment. I can't help but imagine the fascinating dynamic between these two titans of strength. Despite their immense powers, they each have their unique approach to wielding it. They'd be such a mess together and an undeniable power couple. I NEED it.)

In terms of NSFW, I'm looking for a partner who can bring that switch energy. I'm convinced that a lot of the characters in these pairings are versatile switches. So, if you're someone that strictly plays bottoms and refuses to switch it up occasionally, then we likely aren't compatible. Regarding the balance between story and smut, I lean more towards a 70/30 ratio. I'm the kind of person who values a solid storyline and the gradual development of chemistry between our characters.

FINAL NOTES.

I consider myself literate to advanced when it comes to my writing abilities. Typically, my replies span around 10-20 lines, though the length can be influenced by the content I have to work with and my current level of motivation. Generally, I tend to mirror my partner's responses most of the time.

Please maintain a reasonable level of activity. While I don't anticipate constant responses around the clock, I do expect a reply every 2-3 days and at most within a week. If you tend to respond infrequently or have a habit of randomly ghosting people, kindly refrain from reaching out. I'm seeking partners who are genuinely interested and attentive.

Lastly, be open to some OOC banter and easygoing conversation. I'm a pretty laid back person, just looking to have a good time! Let's ramble about the characters, make playlists, the more the merrier!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU.

ROLEPLAYER NAME: Christina / Tina

ROLEPLAYER PRONOUNS: She/her!

MUSE NAME: // gently gestures towards Muse List.

PREFERRED COMMUNICATION: It depends on the day. If I'm at work (which I am most of the week), I can't easily access Discord since it's blocked on the work computers and using our phones is grounds for suspension. So, as long as folks can be PATIENT and not spam me, Discord is the preferred medium. Otherwise, Tumblr IMs are okay, too!

EXPERIENCE: I've been writing pretty much all my life, but on Tumblr, I'd say I've been here... almost 10 years, if I've not already reached a decade?

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: I adore fluff mainly. Too much angst makes things feel forced, and I don't like writing strictly negativity or tense situations. It's just not realistic, no matter how tragic a character's life/backstory is. I love fluffy interactions, I love writing domestic moments, and I love writing big developments. Moments that kind of... shift the dynamic and the world we're building together.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS:

People who are always negative, or who take things so personally to the point it becomes ridiculous. Vague posting, constant complaining, whining, etc... it gets to be too much sometimes, especially if it's untagged. We're here to write and to bond and vibe; how people manage to add melodramatics and high school drama to this, too, is beyond my realm of understanding.

Making big ship/dynamic decisions without asking me first. There's a difference between something being a surprise (like a marriage proposal), and just flat out moving forward with a big plot point without coming to me to see if I'm okay with it, because my muse(s) very well might not be, and I won't hesitate to state this (it kills the motivation, honestly). Roleplaying involves two, sometimes more people; this isn't a fanfiction, so all parties involved should be considered. Some of my muses don't want children, some of my muses aren't okay with sex, etc, etc. Communication, folks. It's not that hard, and most of the time, I'll be okay with it! Just ask first.

Constantly making blogs for muses and then abandoning said blogs, or remaking blogs multiple times a year. It's okay to want a fresh start from time to time, or to want to pick up a new muse, but I'm not about to keep switching up my tags because you need a new URL every 3 months, and I'm not gonna keep following if I notice you have a graveyard of abandoned blogs.

PLOTS OR MEMES: I'm not the BEST at plotting, especially if it's someone I've not been writing with for a long time, so honestly, memes are a bit easier for me to work off of. It gives me something to work with right from the start, and we can build from there and mold it as we go.

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: It depends on my motivation. I tend to take a very long time with my lengthier threads, so I like to balance it out with shorter threads, here and there, just to keep the muse flowing.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: Motivation tends to hit while I'm at work, annoyingly enough, but typically, late at night works best for me. It's when I'm most active, since I literally stay up all night, lmfao.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: Some of them, yes. Others? Not even remotely close.

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to this Animation vs [?] roleplay blog! Have a read through all these rules for all the need-to-knows for this blog and me as a potential roleplay partner:

• Please be polite and respectful. Of me the admin and of other people who interact with this blog ❤️

• Even if you interact with this blog frequently and actively, you are not obligated to follow it. You are free to follow as you please.

• Roleplays can be done in the reblogs of asks or in pms.

• Roleplays can be started based on prompts from prompt lists or scenarios of your own.

• I favour roleplaying the main colour gang the most, with Purple and King being secondmost. I am not too keen on roleplaying Chosen, Dark or Victim, but if you want me to I will do so. However, do not ask me to roleplay as the mercenaries. If our narrative requires that I write about them I will, but do not expect me to have them as leading characters to follow. As for Gold, it's a similar situation to Purple and King, but less so.

• I am open to roleplaying AUs and/or crossovers. But if it's for a fandom I'm not in (do take a look at my main blog for reference) then please send me a long-ass explanation in pms for everything I need to know. Or send/tag me in your character bios or whatever.

• Note:�� if you want to handle the narration by revealing your character's/fandom's story as the roleplay progresses, that is what we shall do.

• Aside from that, I welcome OCs, whether they be from Minecraft, Hyun's Dojo, other fandoms, or are fandomless.

• There is no "time limit" for you to reply to roleplays. You can take as many days/weeks as you want. I will be waiting patiently and will always welcome you. I, too, will take a long time sometimes. I won't rush you, and I expect to be treated the same way.

• If you see me actively replying to someone else but not you, please ping me. I will never purposefully ignore you. I'm sorry if the note gets lost, or if I forget. Whatever it is, know that I am not deliberately ghosting you.

• I'm not finicky about roleplay length. If a one-worded piece of dialogue is enough to convey everything, then that's fantastic. Of course, this won't be the case most of the time, so something needs describing, do that. Don't make the roleplay bland.

• If you're someone who's vehement about your rp partner cutting roleplays, then this blog might not be for you; please understand that I am strictly a Tumblr mobile user and do not have that function.

• I do have anon on; I logged in through my browser and did it. But otherwise, I am staying on the app.

• If...okay, if anybody does wish to roleplay smut, I am open to it, but it MUST be done in pms, and you MUST be 18 or older. AND NO RAPE.

• I also cannot roleplay suicide, self-harm or abuse, because they are triggering for me.

• As for ships, I WANT to have all the colour gang plus Purple in a polycule, but, as it turns out, I myself am polyamorous, and am still afraid of big-group relationships, and will probably be less scared as I become more confident, so for now I'm splitting them as Second/Green, Blue/Yellow and Red/Purple. I don't ship Chosen/Dark but am fine with the ship and will roleplay it. I will also roleplay any other pairing or throuple within the colour gang including Purple, but will not roleplay any other ship not listed here.

Hi everyone.

It’s been brought to my attention that I have hurt a lot of people over this one year that I’ve been active here. The past couple of days I’ve been constantly told that I’m traumatising people, that I’m a horrible rp partner. I’ve been told that there are people warning other writers when they see them interacting with me— to stay away, to be aware that writing with me will not end well.

I am not perfect. I’m not quick. I’m not attentive. I know that I’ve hurt people with how my replies vary and how slow I can be. I know sometimes it looks like I only respond to one person and whilst I’m not looking to make excuses or justify my behaviour, it is only like that because sometimes I only get muse for one thread/ship/muse.

There was a time where I did 70-80 replies in one go, a couple of times a day and it was fun.. it was so much fun, but I ended up getting burnt out. I got overwhelmed and ever since I’ve noticed myself decline. My replies were slower, the threads would fade out and people wouldn’t return to me again. Why should they? Seeing as I often stop replying whilst they are looking for something more permanent/constant. It’s understandable. I’m not like I used to be a year ago, I can’t keep up with the demand and I can’t produce replies that are as good they were back then and I’m sorry for that. It was never my intention to make anyone feel unwanted/boring. My replies stopping has rarely to do with who I’m writing with, but I can see how it can come off as that. My intention here was never to hurt anyone or be the toxic roleplay partner people steer away from. I’m here to write, just like everyone else. I’m here to have a good time, just like you all.

To anyone who’s felt any sorrow because of me, you know who you are (if you still follow me): I’m sorry. I’m sorry for the unanswered asks. I’m sorry for the threads that just stop because of me, the ships that get put in the back burner. I’m sorry for any pain I’ve caused you and/or your muses. That is not my intention here.

I can’t go on unless I apologise. There is a couple of options of what I could do— I take some time away or I delete this account and do my best not to look back. Be it the state I am in, but right now I am steering towards that second option. I am all up for people telling me when they are upset because of something I’ve done, I would like to know. I don’t want to hear it from someone else, be sent screenshots of horrible things said about me behind my back. Just come to me. Talk to me and we can sort things out, we can fix things or part ways as friends. Wouldn’t that be easier than going around and telling people how I cause ptsd? Whilst I understand why someone would say that, please consider this.. how am I going to feel when it is brought to my attention that this is happening? Doesn’t matter when it was said or to who, just think about this before saying such nasty things. Just think (The person who said this has now apologised, but it doesn’t take away the feeling those words brought to me).

Whilst I’m not looking for sympathy, I know I don’t deserve it, I also don’t deserve this. We are all adults here and this is a hobby to us all and we should behave like adults when it comes to conflict. Be open and honest, talk and discuss any issues that arise and then a lot of this can be avoided. Like I said, I am not perfect and I am not always good at communication.. but I am trying to better myself. This past week or so I have been trying to reach out to people I’ve hurt and apologised, I have been looking back and pointing things out about myself and seeing where I can improve.

I do not wish to hurt people.

I do not wish to make bad memories for muns.

I am scared to approach people and it shouldn’t be like that. I am scared because what if they have heard all these horrible things about me? What if I have hurt them so badly and they are keeping it to themselves?? What if— there is so much grey there which could be avoided by communication. So please, talk to me. I am only a human, I make mistakes, but I also have feelings. Talking about me behind my back isn’t helping, it if only showing me that people want me out.

onlyheartaches asked: 🚩; send me a 🚩 and i'll share my unpopular rpc opinions and hot takes. bonus points if you include a specific topic to talk about, like follower count, softblocking, graphics, etc.

if i can give ONE thing that gives me a major ick within the RPC, its fetish roleplay blogs. yknow the ones - strictly smut blogs with half assed writing but their muse pages are FULL of stolen 1080p 4k art of anime girls drawn with very exaggerated proportions (often for fat fetish folks or just. straight up porn) and they smack that on their blog.

the amount of times ive had those blogs follow me because they see "monster girls" and think im like that makes me so irritated. ive had one ghost me because i didnt give them the smut content they wanted for an open starter a couple years back, and i gave them the benefit of the doubt that it'd be different! but nope! i asked them after like, two weeks. their excuse was they were super busy, but they had been responding to a smut thread for a week straight with consistent replies...

they're not my cup of tea and ive disliked them showing up in my activity. the muns behind them don't look for actual fun roleplaying threads from my experience, it's ONLY wanting smut. they are the only types of roleplay blogs i HAVE NOT enjoyed writing with, or even tried writing with. people who genuinely write that sort of content but do it so poorly are folks that i genuinely DO NOT like seeing in this community bc of how they act towards others and how they brand themselves in the RPC. its just really fucking weird.

Recruiting for Literate+ 1x1 Sefikura(Sephiroth x Cloud) Discord RPs!

Accepting multiple 1x1 slots

I'm looking for a partner to play as Cloud in a 1x1 Sefikura RP with me. On special occasions, I will be willing to roleplay as Cloud, but I am more accustomed to writing Sephiroth as he has been my muse for over 5 years, and he is my favorite character of all time.

Rules:

1. You must be 18 or older.

2. I am an advanced literate roleplayer. Thus, you must at least be a literate roleplayer with fluent English, even if it is not your first language. I do not roleplay with people who write in script or at the semi-literate rp level, and I do not rp in any other languages.

3. You must be okay with mature, darker themes, swearing and blood. This is not to be confused with ERP, though it is permitted if we both consent, and as long as that is not the sole purpose of the entire rp. I just enjoy more mature themes and when the rp is taken seriously.

4. You must be able to be active, and don't ghost me if you lose interest. If you cannot be active, don't message me at all. I do not want to be in an rp where I am left waiting for a reply for days, weeks, or months on end, as that is not fun at all. If you get busy, just let me know, and I will wait for you, but if it takes longer than 2 weeks for you to get back to me, I will leave.

5. You don't have to be perfect at roleplaying Cloud, but please have a thorough enough understanding of his character.

6. You must be able to help me develop a plot. This is a group effort, after all! While I do have many plot ideas, they are very vague and will need to be expanded on by both of us.

7. The roleplay will take place on Discord, but I will only be handing out my discord handle to people who have messaged me on here first, so be sure to dm me here if you're interested.

8. This can take place in canonverse or an AU. I do not mind either way as long as we can have fun.

9. Please be direct with me.

10. Know how to differentiate reality from fiction. If you are not okay with me roleplaying as a man despite being a woman, I do not suggest we roleplay. On another note, just because I may like to rp a specific topic, it does not mean I believe it is okay in reality.

If you are still interested after reading my rules, go ahead and message me with any rules & triggers you may have! Optionally, I would like to see an rp sample, too, but that is not required. I will send an rp sample upon request as well.

If we end up being compatible after talking a bit on here, I will send you my Discord handle and ask you to friend me on there so we can start roleplaying!

This is Reina, the writer behind knightinsourarmor, a multimuse roleplay blog, featuring two singlemuse blogs for my most active muses: @deibreak for Todoroki Shoto, and @naitfall for Levi Ackerman.

I will interact ONLY with people to have read my rules.

HOPE IS A DANGEROUS THING

MUSES. I portray many muses from various sources of media. This is my muses page. Other than Levi, the rest of my muses don't have an about page, for the reason I'm mobile bound 99% of the time and I can't work with Google Docs / Tumblr codes. I'll do my best to add any missing info in Tumblr posts as time progresses, and eventually properly move everything in Google Docs. My most active and developed muses for the time being are Todoroki Shoto, Levi Ackerman, and Castiel. They'll pop up on the dash more often than others.

REPLIES. I’m a slow writer. Trying to be a somewhat active member of this rotten society, and taking into consideration how things are in my life right now, I doubt I’ll be replying to a thread in less than a day. I might need days, weeks, or months to get to our thread. How long I take is NOT a reflection of my interest in our thread. Sometimes, I lose a specific muse, sometimes I don’t want to write a specific matter, sometimes I get stuck and can’t come up with a reply as good as yours. Or all of the above. But it’s definitely something that has nothing to do with you.

BETA EDITOR. I can only use beta editor, so I'd appreciate if you did the same so I can properly crop our threads.

CROSSOVERS. Crossover verses / AUs / Modern verses are main to my portrayal. I overly enjoy writing them ( sometimes more than canon interactions ), so I'd appreciate if you were interested on them. I don’t mind if I don’t know where your muse is coming from. If both sides want it, we can make this work. Established crossover verses can be found on my muses page, but I'm always willing to jump into any universe / setting / idea.

AGE. I'm over the age of eighteen. I won’t write with anyone younger than the age of eighteen.

DRAMA. I won't interact with anyone participating / supporting call-out culture, drama, or vague-posting. I will hard-blocking anyone making public any issues they have with anyone. I'm not interested to participate in the anti / pro-ship civil war going around and give myself another label. I also happen to be aware, people give different meanings to these terms. In conclusion, I will interact with both sides, or better say, anyone who knows respect, and doesn't spread hatred between the two, or anyone else. I expect to be RESPECTED for the content I post and the people I write with, same way I RESPECT everyone else and their views whether I agree with these or NOT.

I'm a pretty tolerant* person to what people like to write ( teenagers (16+) having sex, problematic ships or themes, etc. ) whether or not I agree with these matters, simply because this is what tagging is for. I expect the same from the people I choose to follow, concerning the matters I like to explore, and my boundaries.

* I'm disgusted I even have to note this, but people read only what their twisted minds think, so by being tolerant, I certainly don't mean with pedophilia.

CONTENT. Fiction and writing is a way of developing emotions / characters / bonds we wouldn't have the chance to explore in real life. The matters I may explore, don't reflect my views in real life. I portray fictional characters, in fictional settings. I approach the characters and the matters I've chosen to write with respect and care, for the sake of writing and nothing else, and I expect the same from my mutuals. I may happen to choose to write about matters ‘ questionable ’ or ‘ disturbing ’, and I will do so for the sake of character building and nothing else. Such matters may be war, drug usage, suicide ideation, dissociation, villain logic, prostitution, romantic ships with age-gap ( Eren & Levi ) & more. I don't expect anyone to agree writing any of these matters as a requirement to be mutuals, but I expect being given the space to explore these as much as I wish, with the people interested.

Concerning the people I choose to write with ( or not ) and the content they choose to write ( with me or not ) it's not anyone's concern than their's or mine's. If you dislike the people I write with, or the content that may pop up on your dash, the content I write with anyone other than YOURSELF, it's not in my concern. I properly tag everything and have warned you, ANYTHING may come up on your dash if you don't block tags. I'm open ( not necessarily interested ) to exploring many sort of questionable matters with the people interested, and to avoid any misunderstandings, if you're going to be an ass* for content you don't like / support, don't follow in the first place. To be less intimidating, this is only a warning, I'll post what I like and I don't want to bother with people who will judge me for it.

SMUT: Exploring sexual themes is the least of my concerns in this blog. Sexual-themed threads are extremely rare and written only with people I trust, and only for the shake of WRITING. Exploring the bond, the emotions, and the atmosphere to come with the sexual act ( and that's why it's probably going to be 99% of emotions and 01% of the act described ). I prefer writing male x male sexual scenes. Only after a lot of building, I’ll feel comfortable enough to write male x female sexual scenes. I have zero experience and knowledge in writing female x female sexual scenes. I haven't decided on a tag yet, but when I do so, I'll inform you.

TRIGGERS. I tag the triggers my mutuals have on their rules/about page. A post with all the triggers tagged will be added soon. If you need me to tag a specific trigger, feel free to send me an ask or a message. I tag triggers like: ’#yourtriggergoeshere tw’ without the quotation marks. My own triggers are aliens, cockroaches, and drama. That’s the reason I won’t be writing with any single-muse roleplay blogs having alien muses (those having a non-human form). Cartoon/Anime alien faceclaims are the exceptions.

MAINS. I have blogs / threads which I prioritize over others. I don’t practice exclusives but there are roleplay partners I feel close to exclusives, meaning the chances to want to write with the same muse portrayed by someone else are very low. There are, but very low. I always enjoy looking at how someone has made their muse unique in their own way. You can find my main call here.

LIMIT. There's no limit to the asks you can send me or the active threads we may have going.

GENERAL: I'll remind you of the basic stuff: don't pester me for replies, control my muse, force a ship on me, etc. I'm OC friendly, crossover friendly, au friendly. Every romantic bond belongs to its own verse.

DROP. I don't drop threads and asks no matter how old. It's my policy to return the work you've put in writing something for me, even if it takes me years to do so. On your side though, feel free to drop anything you wish, no hard feelings.

MEMES & FANART. I'd appreciate if you reblogged memes / visuals / quotes from the source, unless I've tagged you in any of these. Memes / RP Starters have no time limit.

SPOILERS. This blog is not spoiler-free. I use the tag: #—× spoilers.

ENGLISH. English isn’t my mother language. Keep in mind OOC language ≠ Thread language. I pay little mind and care to ooc posts and communication. Don’t assume the mistakes I make when writing ooc will be the same mistakes on threads. I’m much more careful when writing my muses and do my best to make no mistakes at all. There might be times I make some or write something difficult to understand. Of course my inbox/messages are open for clarifications.

— MUSE SPECIFIC RULES

ARCANE MUSES. My arcane muses are solely based on Netflix’s series. I know nothing of League of Legends or video games in general.

SNK MUSES. I think of SNK as two separate stories that don’t connect with each other. I’m talking about before and after Marley Arc. ( Final season of the anime, chapter 91 of the manga ). Levi’s and Mikasa’s portrayals are based before Marley Arc, and Reiner’s after Marley Arc. I will surely write all three of them at any timeline of the SNK universe, but if not specified or agreed otherwise, my default timelines will be the ones above.

LEVI ACKERMAN. If interested in writing with Levi Ackerman, read this. ( DON'T SKIP )

MIKASA ACKERMAN. I don't ship Mikasa with Eren. Even though their relationship is confirmed to be romantic, in my portrayal, their bond is familial. There are chances I'll write them romantically as well if convinced into the ship, but I won't ship them by default.

MIKAELA HYAKUYA. My portrayal of him will be canon-divergent. Mikaela will be based in his character early in ons ( like, the anime timeline ) and based in my OWN headcanons and development for his character. Meaning I'll be IGNORING canon from some point on. Also, the canon storyline is getting very complicated for me to understand so like I said, I'll stick more to the anime, even if being caught up with the manga. Mikaela is a vampire and that's it.

CASTIEL. My portrayal of Castiel is canon-divergent since I don’t agree with many plot points of the show. I am not caught up with season 15 ( I only know some spoilers ) and my portrayal of Castiel is based mostly between seasons 4 and 9. I will write him at any season except 15, since I don’t know what’s going on. There always are exceptions though. Also, Castiel’s powers are different. At any season I am about to write him, he’ll have the same powers as he did on season 6, meaning much more powerful than he is in the later seasons ( he has his wings, he can time-travel, defeat most creatures etc.).

HOPE IS A GOOD THING. MAYBE THE BEST OF THINGS.

𝑳𝑶𝑾 𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑽𝑰𝑻𝒀: this blog is disgustingly low activity. i'm also slow at writing because characterization, syntax, and general flow all matter to me in how i write and my goal is to produce work that makes me happy to look at and elicits the same reaction in my partners. that being said, never take my reply speed as a reflection of your worth as a writer. if we're mutuals, that means i want to write with you, but that comes at the price of knowing i might only get back to a thread one week later, or respond immediately to a thread whenever the inspiration arises ━━ that would be extremely gucci.

𝑬𝑿𝑪𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑰𝑽𝑬𝑺: i do not participate in exclusivity culture. i believe this behavior only cultivates cliquey atmospheres, excludes newbies, and objectifies people like a commodity. i'm not here to win a popularity contest, i'm here to write. and while i loosely practice mains, this is only with people i've written with for a while and talk to ooc on a semi to fairly regular basis on discord.

𝑺𝑯𝑰𝑷𝑷𝑰𝑵𝑮: i love shipping, but please don't approach me about ships if we haven't even interacted once. these days, i want to focus more on the quality of a ship rather than quantity. i want entertain chemistry, i want to build something out of nothing. just keep in mind that alhaitham is fickle, so don't approach me with the assumption that it will be easy. i also don't always conform to current fandom shipping trends.

𝑹𝑬𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀: at the end of the day, we all just want to have fun writing fantasy scenarios with our favorite characters. that being said, i think it's normal for friends or relationships to fall out or drift apart, it's normal to have duplicate anxiety; hell, i think it's perfectly normal to rant and talk about things that bother you with your friends! that's just the truth. all that i ask is, please, don't involve me in it, don't tell me who i can write with, and certainly don't try and control others through vagueing or making people pick sides with incomplete stories. if i do something that really bothers you, talk to me about it. if someone has something nasty to say about me, be your own judge of character. basically, just soft or hardblock, then move on. i will 100% respect that. i don't respect fear, but i do respect courage. it takes alot of courage to humble, and actions always speak louder than words.
