Buckle up everyone yer girl's about to beat a dead horse.

Ok so one thing that kinda disappoints me is the fact that the cookie run fandom kinda forgot the fact that Moonlight's not a goddess of the moon, but rather an entity who guards a city of wizards via sleeping.

Yeah, she has a very apparent moon aesthetic but thats cuz the moon has heavy associations with magic, it doesn't mean she's from the moon or anything. Other than magic, the moon is also associated with sleep, and Moonlight is more powerful when she's asleep, so it'll only make sense to make a magic narcoleptic themed around the night.

Everyone just sees that Sea Fairy is attracted to the moon and believe that Moonlight is said moon.

And not only does Moonlight not have Sea Fairy in her relationships

Nowhere does it say she's from the moon or anything. She was probably made with moonlight, but again moonlight is associated with witchcraft and wizardry, and it says here that she was created by ancient wizards, presumably with moonlight, hence the bloody name.

While I do like seamoon, its pretty shitty to say that its a canon ship without even the slightest bit of evidence and bash people for not shipping it, when there's more evidence to support that Seamoon is and probably never will be canon then that they'll ever BE canon.

The only two forms of evidence i can find of Seamoon being even vaguely implied is the fact that Sea Fairy has Moonlight in her relationships, but as stated above, those feelings are one-sided and it never explicitly says that she's in love with Moonlight, just the fact that she trusts her.

Sea Fairy probably only likes her cuz she was made with moonlight, which uh

Can you use relationships as a basis to ship two cookies? Yes, yes, you can. But you also don't HAVE to, such as with the Angel x Devil ship where Angel trusts Devil while Devil sees Angel as a rival

But uh idk kinda common sense to not harass and call someone lesbophobic just cuz they don't ship seamoon and claim that its canon due to the "lesbian-coding" sea fairy has.

1. Sea Fairy has no such thing, she doesn't even have any links that so much as hint towards any form of love towards woman.

2. Either shit or get off the pot

Lesbian-coding imo, or sexuality coding in general, is kinda bullshit because if you want so badly to tell someone that this character is one thing, just flat out say it, quit feeding us breadcrumbs and expect us to be satisfied. Why do you have to make every single goddamn thing vague and implied? How hard is it to just flat out tell us that yes this character is not straight or cis? Sod off.

Devsisters doesn't even code their characters, they either leave it fully up to interpretation or flat out say that "yeah, these two are in a relationship", but even then yah don't have to follow canon, except when it comes to ages of course.

Moonlight nor Sea Fairy aren't coded to be together or even lesbians because nO SUCH CODING EVEN EXISTS AND EVEN IF IT DID IT'S FUCKING BULLSHIT BECAUSE IT'S IMPLICATION NOT BLUNTNESS AND ITS VERY SHOTTY IMPLICATION AT BEST

If you wanna ship Seamoon regardless of all this? Go ahead, I'm right along with yah. If we don't have to folllow the canon that almond and roguefort have tension together, you don't have to follow the canon that sea fairy and moonlight aren't actually together and you can headcanon them to be lesbians if you wish.

But uh I DON'T KNOW maybe don't attack people for not having the same headcanon as you??? And maybe don't throw "Lesbian-coding" as the bullshit evidence of that ship being canon?? Cuz there's no evidence of Sea Fairy nor Moonlight being lesbian coding???? The fuck's wrong with you people-

Unless you can prove to me with screenshotted evidence that seamoon is explicitly canon, it's all just fanon and heresy that sea fairy and moonlight are together. Leave Seapirate shippers alone, leave seafire shippers alone, leave every single shipper where they don't ship Sea Fairy or Moonlight cookie, regardless of their pronouns, alone. And before you go on a tangent about them being shipped with men, he/him lesbians exist, gender does not equal pronouns, you can go by they/them pronouns and still identify as a cisgender woman, and even if the shipper has the cookie shipped with either Moonlight or Sea Fairy headcanonned as a male, WHAT THE FUCK DOES IT MATTER

WLW representation needed??? BITCH WE HAVE ALL THE WLW REPRESENTATION WE NEED and what about stuff like Pan or Poly representation too? Don't polymorphic people deserve some kind of representation too? Bi people? Asexual people??? You're so concerned about lesbians having representation that you're forgetting about all the other sexualities that could also fit into wlw as well. It's woman loves woman, not lesbian loves lesbian.

So long as people ain't shipping children with adults(looking at you, proshippers. Go to hell) let people ship whoever the fuck they want.

Hey, i just wanted to say that i think you got what the anon was saying wrong ^^' they didn't mean in the media in general (i think we all understand the issue with representation in the media) but they were talking about their OCs, their characters, specifically like if they have a bi characters and one person says 'to me the character is straight', or the reverse. sorry for my english i don't know if i explained well but i hope you don't get mad at me

My real mistake was putting only media when I should’ve said social* media. Cuz lets face It, there is tons of straight characters and only some lgbt’s ones in the media. Maybe thats why its so hard to ppl to detect them.

Okay so about her ocs. I saw it. Thats why I talked about Number Six and tried to show to her that the professionals writters (or most of them that I know) don’t care about hcs (or even about explaining all their characters sexuality). And I will take other exemple: Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. There is… 6/8 characters in a non straight relationship in this anime/manga. And I could easily say that Takano is bi, Ritsu is gay/Demi, Kou is pansexual, Shota is gay, Chiakie is assexual and Hatori is demi too.

You could totally disagree with me :’) and If tomorrow the writter say by any chance that Takano is pan I will keep thinking for the rest of my life that Takano is bi kkkkkkkk and all my theories about their sexuality is only theories kkkk they don’t belong to me, I can’t just force everybody to agree with me :3 specially because they’re not mine character. Ppl are used to act like me doing those theories cuz there is no real and good representation in the media, that’s a fact.

I’m very confortable with you asking me It, cuz I also have my ocs and if by any chance someone come to my ask box or in my chat saying that Neshaa is straight or lesbian for some reason… It couldn’t bother me. Neshaa is bissexual. Nobody can change that cuz she is my character. If someone still insisnt that she is straight (cuz the only hcs that she really have is with Armin, Iori and some draws with Bill) thats kinda my fault. I didnt had the time to create a whole romantic background for her yet :’) and there is no draw of her kissing a girl and this is my mistake. Even so other ppl don’t have a say in her sexuality. Of course I take ppl’s opinions in consideration, but… She only exists because of me, this give me the right do make her the way that I want kkkkkkkkkk you get what I’m trying to say?

You need the maturity and be chill enough to know how to deal with It. Boy, how many times ppl asked me about the fact that Neshaa is a kitsune or even a half kistune? xD That talk exists since she got the fox ears (its been a year and time to time ppl come asking me about It). Why I dont give up and just do her as a normal kitsune? Because she is not a normal, tradicional kitsune, my boy, and its not because she is my character kkkkkk she have a whole human life in her back, she have a sister, she had parentes, she have friends and a boyfriend and they all are humans. She have all the teenagers feelings and confusions. “So why she is not only human?” :’) belive me, so many ppl could ask me that because ppl don’t understand what I’m trying to do with her. And I could ask: why make her normal If I can make her a half kitsune with powers and emotional dimension? “But you could make a character like that in eldarya” my boy, I have others hcs in eldarya and they’re ready I dont want to change It kkkkkkkkk becouse of that, you need to fucking say what you want/need and impose yourself. Its your character. Even If its kinda your fault some wrong impressions that ppl does about your oc, how can you not say that they’re wrong? And why this bothers that anon SO MUCH?

It’s kinda insulting. :’) What is so BAD about someone saying that her oc seems gay/bi/demi/pan, even If they aren’t any of that? Why bothers this person so much feeling like the lgbt comunity “shame straight ppl”? Pan Q&A thing

I don’t know why, but every time I try to post this, it won’t work, so I’m trying a different method. I’ll just post the link to the questions, and write down my answers

Answers:

1) I’m not totally 100% sure bout my sexuality, but I’m 100% certain that I’m at least panromantic.

2) I’ve pretty much always thought people were cute regardless of gender, but I first started actually trying to figure out who I identified as around 5th grade. I knew I was pan when I started 7th grade, because I came out as bi (that’s what I thought I was, my knowledge on the LGBTQIA+ community has since improved) but then one of my friends, introduced me to pansexuality, so yeah. Every now and then, I’ll have a bit of a crisis, but I always end up deciding I’m at least panromantic.

3) I’m out to all of my friends at my school, not to say that other people don’t know, I just didn’t personally tell them. I’ve also told exactly two family members, but that’s it (my cousin and half sister, in case you wanna know lol). I think my parents might be onto me, but idk.

4) I don’t really know. I don’t know if it’s my favorite thing, but one thing I really like is that the pan flag is made up of the primary colors, so I see a lot of accidental representation, and I just think it’s cool.

5) Not really. I used to be afraid that I was being fake by calling myself pan, since, for a small amount, I pretty much only liked girls. Sure, other genders were still cute, but I didn’t see myself getting many crushes on other genders. But then I figured it out, so it’s all good now. As of now, I’ve had many, many crushes on different genders, 2 girlfriends, (both cis) and 2 boyfriends(1 cis, 1 trans). I haven’t actually ever met someone who wasn’t cis or trans, (at least, not to my knowledge) but I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t really factor into it, since, ya’know, I’m pan and all XD

6) All the generic stuff(being nice, funny, etc). I honestly don’t think I have a type. All the people I’ve loved/liked have been pretty different, both in personalities and appearances.

7) I see a lot of stuff where pans are like the cuddlebugs and softies of the LGBTQIA+ community, which I really enjoy.

8) I’ve never actually been to Pride. I only found about when Pride was last year, and it had just passed, so I couldn’t go. Even so, I’d have to make up a good excuse for my parents, since I don’t really wanna chance coming out to them until later.

9) Brenden Urie!! He’s absolutely amazing! Even if he is pretty much the only pan celebrity/character I know XD

10) I don’t know if you mean if I have any head cannons that a character is pan, but if you do, I’m pretty sure Midoriya Izuku from My Hero Academia is pan. Y’know, cuz of One For All?? Get it??? XD

11) I’m sorry if I’m misinterpreting the question, but isn’t that the same as question 7??

12) I don’t really know any. Of course, I know the one where we’re attracted to baking pans, but that’s more of an ongoing joke that’s getting old instead of something that actually bothers me. I don’t know if people actually think this, but I read somewhere that some people think that bis/pans are more likely to cheat on people?? I’m not sure if some actually believe this, but it’s absolute bull. I’d never. Of course, my situation is slightly different, since I’m polyamorous, but still. No matter the nature of the relationship, there should be no cheating.

13) Like I said, I used bi, but I also used 2 others. I can’t remember exactly what one was, but it was basically that my sexuality fluctuates from one to another. The other label I used was quoisexual, if I remember correctly. If not, than it was something along those lines. I believe it was for people who didn’t really know what they identified as.

14) Several! My ex-girlfriend, and another one of my friends. I have one boyfriend who doesn’t quite know what he identifies as, but I kinda have a feeling he’ll turn out to be pan. I also have a friend who has said multiple times that she’s pan, but she’s also said that she’s bi, and I don’t want to confront her about it, just in case she gets mad or something.

15) This doesn’t necessarily apply to being pan, but I’d tell myself that things get better. Sure, life still sucks ass, but there’s people who are there for you, and there will always, always, be good in the bad.

16) Like I said earlier, I’m also polyamorous. Occasionally, I’ll wonder if I’m truly happy with my gender identity, but I’m pretty sure I’m just insecure about how I look. I’m a cis girl, btw.

17) not really. I see stuff all the time with the pan colors, but I can never find the courage to ask my mom to buy it for me. However, I recently made an ornament, with the pan flag on one side and the poly flag on the other.

18) I’ve only just got a tumblr account, so I don’t really know any.

19) Like I said, I’m a cis girl, and my pronouns are she/her.

20) Just because you can’t love everyone doesn’t mean you have to hate on those that can.

21) I’m not very good at being inspiring and such, but I’ll do my best!

Be confident in yourself. There’s nothing wrong with being pan. If anything, it’s a good thing! It just means you have a big heart, and that your love is unbiased! And 8′m not just saying that to be reassuring. I mean it. Now, go love yourself and whichever lucky people happen to catch your eye!

Sorry for typing so much! I just said whatever I thought of, which just happened to be a lot. Sorry. Also, I know I didn’t really answer some of the questions correctly, which I’m also sorry about. I hope you find my answers entertaining!
