EQUAL (gay...) RIGHT RANT!!!!

A tumblr rant, haven't done this in awhile... probably will play Bioshock 2 after this to cool down.... But here we go.

This is an gay equal rights rant, about why religious peeps are so anti this and anti that when it comes to gay equal rights. 

I usually don't respond to trolls but I couldn't take this anymore... ever since the Oreo thing people are freaking the fuck out, and trolling Oreo and pro-gay groups and using the Bible (out of context I must add) to support their hate, and ignorance (I mean ignorance in the neutral connotation of not knowing, or not being aware of; not the negative connotation the internet and fellow Americans gave it... AKA idiot, stupid, dumb-ass, etc). 

Point-blank it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL to deny gays the right to marry the one they love based of what YOUR INTERPRETATION of the Bible says, (protip: the Bible wasn't written in English morons, it has been translated several times through several languages, and is based of interpretations of unknown or direct translatable words) for one main reason.

WE LIVE IN AMERICA, AMERICA IS A DEMOCRACY, NOT A RELIGIOUS OPPRESSION.  With that out of the way I'll put it in much clearer meaning: state and church are SEPERATED. America was founded on religious freedoms; to base laws on/and to push religious ideals is unconstitutional. America is the land of the FREE. If you want to live in a place based on religious oppression, they exist, so go live there. Not here where you are trying to deny me my AMERICAN RIGHTS! 

So saying "gay marriage is an abomination" is just ignorant, and really not a good enough argument, because marriage isn't a holy union here in the great USA, it's a formation of two parties to share titles and taxes, along with hospital visitation rights, equal ownerships, and the right to raise children together. Which about the children thing, heteros, you guys make gay kids. I am the product of a hetero couple, and so are a LOT of other homosexual children out there. So no, gay parents, won't raise gay kids (majority of the time)... 

Either way, anything the Bible says on the matter (which it doesn't I took the time to research it and the Bible never mentions anything negatively about monogamous gay couples, because it wasn't an issue, a lot of it is misinterpretation and mistranslation, but w.e English is the only language that matters, am I right...) is a moot-point, because in America, the founding fathers didn't prioritize ones ideals... their children started to, and the immigrants started too, and etc, etc, etc... 

I just wanted to get this off my chest really, because I'm so sick of the ignorance. I don't hate anti-gay people, I just am upset at how misinformed they are... I have met Christians who truly love everyone and are IN SUPPORT of EQUAL RIGHTS. There are more points I could even go into the whole religious argument of what the Bible says like how Jesus/God never said a thing on the matter, the Aristotle's did... and either way, the "gay thing" is mentioned a mear handful of times, respect love and peace, and to not steal or harm, is mentioned MUCH MUCH more... either way, the Bible to me is crap, since after reading and researching, i haven't found any sufficient evidence of real deities... so with that FUCK YEA SCIENCE!
