The happiest part of packing today has been packing my bedroom library... all 400+ books... I never met my dad's dad becuz he passed from cancer when my dad was a young adult.... but I have so many of these little gems of his from his time spent away at war.... I also have lots of first editions of my grandma's books from the 1930s (she was born in 1924)... & I have a few books with love notes he used to send back home to my grandma... I get my love of reading from them..... I read pretty much anything u put in front of me... but For Whom The Bell Tolls is on of my favs becuz my grandma used to read this story to me all the time... shout out to my dad for understanding where I get this love from & allowing me endless nights under my covers with a flashlight reading well into the morning!! #Reading #ReadingIsFundamental #INeedToAddToMyCollection #OldBooksSmellLikeHeaven #IKeepEverything #GrandmasOnlyGirl #AlbersOverEverything

A few Placebo articles from Q Magazine, Select Magazine, and the Evening Standard. “Bob’s your uncle!” 😅 BACKSTORY: When I was living in London in the 90’s, I hoarded music magazines. And I couldn’t bear to throw them all out when I moved back to the states, so I painstakingly cut the articles that seemed important or meaningful to me at the time, and put them in binders. 😅 Yes, I am a gigantic DORK. So here I am, over 20 years later - still moving these binders around from house to house. This afternoon I got my hands on a studio DAT player. Tonight I found and listen to the intro to WOWI's Jamz Fest 6 Intro.
