I found my happy place the day I stopped being concerned about why they don't love and accept me for me but I always love and accepted them for them... the day I embraced my ancestors completely and decided not to shy away from who I am for anyone... the day the devil from my past no longer had a hold on me with his intimidations! Angels are with me right now! Like most creative people, I don't fit well in boxes... Some people are always seen as strong warriors, survivors amongst their people and therefore considered that nothing can get them down and they don't need help. This causes some people to suffer in silence sometimes not knowing how to reach out to others for help when needed most! I had a health scare that started 3 weeks ago but ignored it and a week later my body forced me down, with an excruciating amount of pain and blood loss that I didn't realise could be life-threatening as the doctors told me... I got to them in time... Not out of the clear, having to go back to the doctor to assess the treatment of the current week (pain etc is under control) and decide the way forward according to this week's results... Thank you to all my beautiful friends from my inner circle that saw the signs, the support, love, words of encouragement the constant looking in on me, asking what they can do for me because that's what friends are for... "S" and "O" you know who you are... You two are like the brothers I've longed for all my life... Thank you... My adopted "family" you know who you are... Starting with the Bday celebrations of "H" last night, to the game night tonight... (Not having spent any time with you guys in such a long time...but you always there) Thank you for being with me especially receiving tonight's good news... Let the celebrations begin!!!
