I got tired of everything for this bull/dorian/cullen being predominately about sex, they deserve a wholesome romance.

Cullen and The Iron Bull are friends and co-workers at Skyhold College’s Campus Safety department. They are also both single fathers of adopted children who coordinate schedules to co-parent their kids. Both also have sworn off romance to prioritize their child. It takes running into Professor Dorian on Take Your Child To Work Day to realize how absurd they’re both being and to bring them all together.

Aka Dorian tries to get Cullen and Bull together, Bull thinks Cullen and Dorian should date, and Cullen thinks Bull and Dorian would be good for each other. They’re all idiots.

STORY: Cyran was born three years after his brother Lyrel. By then the world had been saved; no more there was a hole in the sky, nor darkspawn invading the lands of Thedas, ravaging it with chaos and death. Coripheus had been defeated. Peace was restored... except for a new peril that called upon the Inquisition once more. Maera, Cyran’s mother, feared the day would come when neither of her sons would get to know their father Dareth, who was a loyal member of the Inquisition and a close friend to Inquisitor Ilyann Lavellan of the Dalish. Luck would be on the family’s side a second time, for danger was vanquished once more. Not permanently; but after many adventures and risky situations, Dareth saw fit to retire and return to the Coast to be with his wife, live a quiet life and see his two sons, and later his two daughters, grow.

Cyran was very attached to everyone in the family. He remembers his childhood fondly, of running around with Lyrel, Fenkas and Elgara, hiding in their mother’s garden while she searched for them, pretending to be a scary monster; of learning how to grow food, how to make flower crowns and how to weave his own clothes. He remembers every lesson of his father in the wilds, every skill he would need to survive on his own, how to fight two-handed, with daggers or shooting with a bow and arrow. While his brother preferred to heal and wield the magic that would one day manifest in him, Cyran would rather go out for a day to hunt with Dareth, or spend the rare clear nights outside, looking at the stars and dreaming of seeing the wonders of the world. Despite a few sibling spats, he always maintained a strong bond with his brother and sisters, even in adulthood.

When he was fairly young, Cyran met a mabari pup while he and his family were visiting one of the villages in the Coast. The pup imprinted on the boy, and he fell in love almost instantly. Without much choice in the matter, Maera and Dareth let him bring his new friend home. He named her Alais and the two practically grew up together. 

However, there is no one the young elf admires more than his father. From the moment he could speak and run, he grew up listening to Dareth’s tales while in the Inquisition or his misadventures alongside his mother, dreaming of being just like him one day. He strives to be just as strong, just as tough, just as skillful as Dareth, pushing himself to the limit and doing almost anything to impress him, to make him proud. When he falls to the ground hurt and Dareth tells him to get up and try again, Cyran swallows his tears and his pain, and heaves himself from the dirt, refusing to show weakness. That is not the way of his father, so it is not his way either. Above all, he just loves spending time with him instead of being cooped up at home (as Maera would often wish, though rarely express it). When he turned 18 years old, he decided he was ready to test out his abilities in the real world, and with his parents’ blessings and well-wishes, he set out of home with Lyrel and ventured toward Redcliffe to visit their aunt. 

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as well as they hoped. On the way back home, they were ambushed by bandits on the road and Cyran ended up getting seriously injured. While Lyrel had enough power and knowledge to stabilize him, he didn’t have the necessary skill to heal him completely, therefore having to basically carry his younger brother back home in the Coast, where their mother could help him. Luckily, the occurrence ended on a happy note, though it was a fairly big scare for Cyran and his family. Still, that didn’t stop the young elf from trying again a few months later, by taking a boat to Rivain with his brother by his side once more. When his sisters became of age, they too started venturing out without their parents’ supervision, though Fen tends to stick to Ferelden. Since Lyrel is an indoor type of person, El stepped into his shoes eventually and became Cyran’s travelling companion, alongside with Alais.
