I really don't think Sadie and Jake were in a lavender marriage, I think the two genuinely loved eachother, they give off that married couple energy when you go up to their ranch in Ambarino, Jake is just like "I love my wife!" While Sadie is just like a feral cat, "Stay away from my Jake!" Obviously, I'm not shaming anyone or making them feel bad for their opinion, it may not be canon to the game, but you do you, I'm not you, go do what you want.

I just personally feel Jake and Sadie really did love eachother and none of it was a cover-up for them being in some sort of lavender marriage. Sadie was dedicated on avenging him, and even had a nickname for him, you cannot tell me she didn't call him "Jakey" every single moment of the day when they were alone.

I don't really understand the context behind the two being in a lavender marriage, maybe because of Jake's kindness? But I just truly believe Jake was just being himself and Sadie was just like; "fuck everyone else I want this guy he seems nice". I don't really understand people who ship Abigail with Sadie, sure, she might have helped her in her time of grief, and with Arthur? I would implore others to check out their energy between one another, they had a brother-sister type of bond, and I doubt Arthur would want to love anyone else, to be completely honest, they were both just ghosts of the past people they once were - what I seem to think is what Arthur meant by "we're more ghosts than people." Anyways, I'm going off topic, so I'll end my rant here.

I don’t usually mind headcanons but imo they still have to stay consistent with the main story.

sadie is NOT a lesbian, her only and main goal is to get revenge for jake who is obviously a man.

I’m absolutely fine with people hc has a bisexual, pansexual woman or else but she’s seriously attracted to men and loved jake with all her heart. If it’s not enough to understand, she even mentioned in the epilogue she would maybe “catch up with an handsome revolutionary”. her tone here is doubtful as she obviously doesn’t know what to do after micah’s death.

some say jake and sadie would be in a lavender marriage and I strongly disagree. sadie explicitly spoke of him as a person being absolutely in love.

jake also looked strongly in love and amazed by how amazing his wife is to him in rdo and said “quite a woman, my wife” to a obvious stranger.
