also the funniest thing happened today. me, my slightly homophobic/transphobic yet seemingly closeted herself mother, and just generally unpleasant to be around brother, after a long day of walking around cst, went to grab a bite at mcdonald's. and i immediately noticed a very openly queer middle-aged gay couple wearing identical white outfits with various rainbow decorations sitting diagonally opposite to us. and at first i didn't think too much of it. maybe they were just in a prideful mood today. and then it took about three seconds between me realising "oh it's pride month and we're in south bombay which means there must've been a pride event somewhere". and like a jhund of queers just flowing into this mcdonald's from all doors and entrances. and the funniest part is, is that i noticed they were all trans and gay like the moment I saw them. but it took the rest of my family at least 15 minutes to recognise that. and it was literally because a group of gnc/trans people kept rushing in and out of the bathrooms right next to my mom. and i will admit. i thought it was because they were doing drugs in those bathrooms. but it was because they had to go back home to queerphobic families/travel using public transport and needed to get their sarees and makeup off. BUT WHATS EVEN FUNNIER. is that we were sitting right next to a table of gay women (most of whom were butch and very noticeably gnc) the whole time. and it took my mom and brother until a few hours later when we'd reached home to realise this. keep in mind that these women had their GIRLFRIENDS. SITTING. AT the table. WITH them. or if they didn't they were talking about "their girls" (in very coded, lowkey hindi) very noticeably throughout. like either gaydar is real or cishets are just incredibly stupid.

🤪 about ayesha go
ok ayesha... OK YES GOT IT
so this happened last year after shubh and ayesha's 10th was over and they went to the mall to chill, and y'know us 11th-going-to-12th graders also joined because why tf not
going to the mall and everything was fine, the problem arised when we were travelling back home. now the mall is like a 5 min walking distance from our society, and the others had parked their scootys there so we were walking together in this jhund of 10 ppl.
so we saw like a couple of nashedis that were eyeing us girls in a very tharki way and one of em tried to grab ayeshas hand. this girl oh my god. this girl. this 5’5 skinny ass girl that has never punched anyone or shown any sign of violence in the 5 years that ive known her fkn kicked the guy in the balls so hard. then slapped him in the face with her bag repeatedly. while she’s doing this, the other guy reached out to touch her face and said ‘aree yeh to naraz ho gyi’.
this fkn girl bites his hand hard enough to draw blood, grabs my penknife that id offered to her and says, ‘saale aur kuch kiya to isi chaku se tumlog to kaat ke biryani khaungi mai’ and for dramatic effect licks the blood dripping off her chin.
she is the quietest and sweetest person ik, but god forbid you see her bad side.

RE-RELEASED FLOP MOVIES....
These days old movies which are iconic, cult classic should be re-released instead of the movie which have created a crazy record are released again in theaters, specially tollywood movies.
I am not against such movie's release but my problem is if those movies which were declared average or flop at the box office at that time but are genuinely good to watch should be re-released for sure so that people can appreciate it atleast now.
For example, Orange a telugu movie which was good but was a flop during it's release was re-released and had theaters full with people even though this movie is there in YouTube, in a good quality to watch.
I am just saying in all languages this re-release trend should be followed with those movie which have a good story. There are many such movies in telugu like Tanu Nanu, Nanu Meku Telusa?, Khaleja...many more and in bollywood we have Guzaarish, Shamshera, Runway 34, Jhund, Nishbad...many more so there will be such in other languages as well which should be re-released as in the past they were maybe released in a wrong time or a were maybe ahead of their time or were not marked well...or may have may reasons for it's failure in the box office.
I just want another chance for such movies!
#deserved appreciation is important to give!
#good content should spread for sure!
