[my Ko-fi♡]
They're both against her wearing Jumin's shirt as her pajamas, but that won't stop her.
note: this takes place during and after the chat at 21:58 on day 7 of Jumin's route! this is one of my favorite parts of his route.
also, thank you all so much for all your support throughout this week! please stay safe and enjoy! ♡
°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。
She glanced over at him as her face began to flush with color. Jumin had settled into the couch a few minutes earlier, opting to sit at the opposite end from her. He seemed lost in thought; his gaze wasn’t quite focused on the phone in his hands, so her eyes flitted back to her own device, scanning the messages once more to make sure she hadn’t imagined them.
ZEN: Anyways, I get that you’re not getting any weird thoughts
ZEN: even though you’re alone with MC right now.
Jumin Han: I don’t know.
ZEN: What do you mean;;
She pressed her teeth into her tongue, glancing back up only to meet Jumin’s eyes. She looked away quickly, focusing on thinking about what to say in response instead of the heat in her cheeks.
She smiled as a silly thought came into her mind, knowing that Zen would absolutely hate the very idea. But that only spurred her on. She also wanted to help shift the subject a little, knowing that Jumin was having a rough time and didn’t need to be interrogated.
MC: I… want to wear Jumin’s striped shirt as my pajamas, but he keeps stopping me.
She hesitantly pressed send, watching as a small smile lifted Jumin’s lips. She saw him begin typing, her heart jumping at what he would have to say. But as she looked back to the chatroom in anticipation, she was met with the exact reaction she’d expected from Zen.
ZEN: No!!!!!!!!!
She couldn’t help but giggle to herself, the sound drawing Jumin’s gaze as he finished typing.
Jumin Han: Your pajamas will be delivered soon in perfect size.♛
ZEN: No!!!!
ZEN: Never!!
ZEN: Don’t even think about pajamas.
ZEN: Since you’re not spending the night there!
She couldn’t help but be amused, rolling her eyes a little at how worked up Zen was getting and how she’d been able to guess that he’d have that reaction.
But the whole conversation sparked an idea in her mind, one that rapidly grew into a plan. She was undoubtedly grateful that Jumin had gone to the trouble of ordering tailored clothes for her, but seeing how adamant Zen was about her not wearing his shirt stirred a sort of childish mischief in her.
Before she could convince herself otherwise, she stood from the couch and met Jumin’s gaze when it was drawn to her.
“Is it okay if I use the bathroom?” she asked. He nodded, standing from the couch to meet her.
“Of course. It’s that door just there,” he informed her, gesturing with his hand towards the door she’d already guessed led to the bathroom.
“Thank you,” she smiled, stepping forward to walk past him. She quickly realized she could have gone the other way, noticing how small of a space she had to squeeze between him and the coffee table. A bright blush rose to her cheeks as she clenched her jaw in embarrassment.
“Sorry,” she breathed out as she moved past him, feeling her body lightly brush against his. His soft scent washed over her senses, making her heart jump against her ribs. But she kept walking, moving to the bathroom quickly and almost regretting getting up at all.
She closed the door as gently as possible, leaning against it and breathing out. She hadn’t gotten a glimpse of his face, but if she had, what would his expression have looked like?
Shaking her head, she pressed her hands to her cheeks, hoping to cool them down. She had been sent to his penthouse to make sure that he was okay, not to flirt with him. She couldn’t deny her attraction to him, but she hadn’t even known him for a full week.
Taking a deep breath, she lifted her eyes to look around the spacious bathroom. It was pretty fancy, but the laundry basket adjacent to the shower was the only thing that caught her eye. She moved over to it quickly, pulling the wicker lid from the top and peering inside.
A short sigh left her lungs in relief, and a giddy, almost nervous smile stretched across her face. She’d guessed that Jumin would change when he arrived home from work. Even though he was still wearing a dress shirt and slacks, it seemed like a casual outfit for him. And it turned out she was right because a pinstriped, button-up shirt was lying in the basket waiting for her to take it.
She briefly laughed, taking the shirt from the basket and sizing it up. She figured it would be quite big on her, but the fabric was so soft, and it smelled like Jumin. It would be more comfortable than any other clothing she could sleep in.
Her phone vibrated against the marble countertop by the sink, prompting her to pick it up and read over the messages she’d missed in the chatroom. Jumin had suggested a party guest at Zen’s request and then said that it was probably time for her to sleep. Zen said his goodbyes, leaving her to continue on with her plan.
She was beginning to undress when there was a knock at the door.
“Y-yes?” she answered, sliding her arm back through her shirt quickly.
“Excuse me. Your pajamas arrived. Would you like to change into them?” Jumin spoke through the door, putting a smile on her face at both his kindness and his soft voice.
“Oh, sure,” she replied, placing his shirt back in the hamper before opening the bathroom door. He stood there, the draft from the door brushing his hair across his forehead, with the folded pajamas in his hands.
“Thank you,” she smiled, reaching to take them from him. His hands brushed hers, his skin soft and warm and immediately making her stomach tie itself in knots. He pressed his lips together, returning his hands to his sides before taking a gentle breath.
“It’s my pleasure,” he responded. “I want you to be comfortable here, so please, if you need anything let me know,” he told her, his tone genuine and kind. She hugged the pajamas to her chest, feeling her heart swell at his hospitality. It was more than she could ever ask for though; all she really needed was his company.
“Okay,” she breathed out, completely charmed by his words and his warm look. She began closing the door, seeing him nod and turn to walk back towards what she guessed was the couch.
When the door was closed, she locked it, placing the pajamas on the bathroom counter and taking a deep breath. His sweet words made her second-guess herself, and she worried her bottom lip between her teeth and she went over it again in her mind.
She knew she would be much more comfortable in something simple. The pajamas looked to be made of something expensive, and although grateful, she knew she would feel slightly nervous to be wearing something so fancy to bed.
She also knew that Zen’s reaction would almost certainly make her laugh, and it might even amuse Jumin too. That was enough to push her forward, leaving her undergarments on as she pulled on his shirt and carefully buttoned it up.
It was definitely oversized on her, the ends of the shirt meeting just above the halfway point of her thighs. The sleeves fell past her hands, the button cuffs at the end undone. She looked in the mirror, glad that the fabric wasn’t see through and making sure that she’d buttoned it up high enough.
She turned and took a deep breath, placing a hand on the door handle and letting out another quiet laugh at what she was doing. But she steeled herself, opening the door and stepping out to find him waiting for her on the arm of the armchair near the couch. His hands were in his lap, and it seemed like he had dimmed the lights.
But it was as clear as day when she was met with a shocked expression, an uncontrollable blush spreading across her face.
“D-did…” he started to say, his voice faltering before he stopped to clear his throat. He stood to meet her, walking a few paces forward but staying a safe distance. He kept his eyes firmly on hers. It was hard to tell in the dim light, but she could have sworn there was a hint of pink just above his cheekbones.
“Did the pajamas not fit correctly?” he asked her, his intense gaze making her throat run dry. She looked down at herself, gripping the end of the shirt tightly.
“I just thought this would be a lot more comfortable,” she replied, seeing his eyebrows furrow slightly at her words. “I hope this is okay,” she added quickly, hoping she hadn’t upset him. He let out a breath that sounded shaky, his hands moving to adjust the button cuffs on the ends of his own sleeves.
“I see. I wouldn’t want you to be uncomfortable...” he spoke tensely, his voice trailing off as his eyes moved to her hands. She pressed her lips together, glancing down at them and back to him in confusion.
“Let me help you with those sleeves,” he offered, taking a careful step towards her and extending his hand. But before he touched her, his hand froze, their eyes meeting once more in an electrified gaze.
“May I?” he asked, raising his eyebrows at her. She nodded, feeling her breaths move in and out of her lungs at a quick pace. She’d had no idea that she would get so nervous once she was in his sight.
Jumin found her wrist beneath the fabric of the shirt, his cold fingers lifting her arm towards his chest. The soft sleeve slid from her skin, exposing her shaky hand as he turned it over and signaled for her to hold her arm there. His adept fingers worked to fold up the sleeve to a comfortable length for her, securing the buttons just above her wrist.
She was about to thank him, but then he took her hand in his again, leaning down to press a soft kiss to the inside of her wrist. Her heart leapt into action, the heat already in her cheeks spreading into her neck.
But Jumin remained silent, seeming to calm slightly as her heart rate only rose higher and higher. He lifted her other hand, adjusting the button cuff there and then kissing the same spot on her wrist.
It was only after his lips left her skin that he met her gaze, his gray eyes shadowy but warm in the dim lights of his penthouse. She could no longer find it in herself to speak, feeling like she couldn’t trust her voice after the tender care he’d offered her.
“I never thought seeing someone else in my clothes would stir such a strong reaction in me,” he said, his voice deep and throaty. He searched her eyes, seeming to be waiting for a response. She had been distracted trying to put a name to the warmth spreading through her chest, but she’d heard him loud and clear.
“Is it a good reaction?” she asked, glad that her voice didn’t fail her.
“Yes,” he replied quickly, his eyes burning into hers. “Very much so.”
It was then that he lifted his hand to her face, his fingertips ghosting across her jaw before he brushed her cheek with the back of his hand. Her skin felt like it could ignite under his touch, and her lips fell open in a soundless gasp when he moved to cup her cheek. His palm felt cool again the heat of her skin, her heart fluttering rapidly.
He pulled his hand from her face, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear before running his fingers through the length of it incredibly gently. His eyes were wide, seeming as if he wanted to take everything in and never forget it.
His hand returned to her cheek, and she watched his eyes wander her face, landing on her lips.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered, the softest smile gracing his countenance. She felt weak, but she never wanted him to stop, his touch being a drug that she was willing to be addicted to.
His thumb moved to her bottom lip, slowly tracing the gentle curve of it. She felt his left hand move to caress her other cheek, removing his thumb from her lips and starting to move closer. She let her eyes find his mouth, anticipating his next move, but it was then that he stopped himself, searching her eyes as his widened once more.
Jumin began to pull back, letting his skin slide off hers disappointingly. She immediately missed the warmth of his touch, a look of confusion drawing her eyebrows downward.
“Forgive me. I’m keeping you awake,” he spoke gently, remaining so close to her. She didn’t want to pressure him, especially when there was so much going on in his head, but her heart was still racing from the thought of kissing him.
But she composed herself, trying to reign in the fire just beneath her skin and put on a smile.
“Where will you sleep?” she asked him, feeling her stomach drop when he averted his eyes, opting to look at the floor. Even though she moved to amend her question, she couldn’t deny that seeing his cheeks flush felt like an accomplishment.
“I-I just feel bad for stealing your bed,” she explained, hearing a short, breathy laugh come from him as he met her gaze again.
“I’ll be fine,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest as he took another half-step back from her. “I don’t think I’ll sleep. I have some things to think about,” he told her. She was unable to help the worry that settled into her features, guilt pressing against her conscience.
“But nothing for you to worry,” he smiled, making her expression lighten. “Just rest up on my bed.” She nodded, looking over at the large bed that waited for her. She glanced back at him, wishing the pain in his eyes could be taken away by sheer will.
“Goodnight, Jumin,” she spoke softly, wanting to reach out to him but restraining herself. He bowed his head slightly, offering her a smile that she hoped she would get to see more often.
“Goodnight,” he said, watching her walk over and crawl into his bed. She smiled at him as he flipped the lights off completely, seeing him move towards the kitchen.
When he disappeared from sight, she let out a dizzy sigh, the thought of his hands on her making her heart race all over again.
As she laid in his bed trying to calm down, she admired how quiet the penthouse was. She felt safe there. It was so silent, in fact, that when Jumin let out his own shaky sigh and laughed, she could hear it loud and clear.

[Jumin x MC]
Driver Kim noticed that Jumin has a small smile stuck on his face since he got in. In all the years he had work for him, it seems that he’s much happier now than ever. Jumin continued to look beyond the window, planning one by one what you both would do for the whole month. Go to his private gardens, private beach, maybe even in a secluded island. Play golf, would you like to play golf? Perhaps he could teach you, he thought. Should he bring Elizabeth the 3rd? Maybe he can leave her to Assistant Kang’s care.
As he thinks and plans what you’d do, Jumin’s fingers tapped on his thighs rhythmically, the ride seemed longer than before now that he’s much eager to see you. Knowing that from tonight onwards he has all the time to be with you the whole month without any interruptions or disturbances, he seemed impatient but the smile never leaving his face, patience is virtue after all, he thought.
As Jumin texted you he was near you couldn’t help but feel giddy, you’ve done your hair in an updo with a few strands hanging. Even though it was a small party with the RFA, Jumin still wanted to make it a little fancy, as to why he had a tailored dress for you that matches his suit. It was simple and elegant, the ends hanging above your knee, a little loose but hugs your form comfortably.
You stood in front of the mirror and admired your dress, you then saw Jumin’s reflection, he was standing on the door looking at you. You smiled brightly at him as he walked towards you, his smile even bigger now that he got to see you.
“Beautiful,” he whispered once he was standing behind you, kissing your shoulder, then your arm, taking your hand as he kissed your wrist, and lastly your finger that nestles the symbol of your love. You giggled as he wrapped his arms on your waist and started to sway you a little as he placed another kiss to your shoulder.
“Jumin~ we’re gonna be late,” you said as you placed one hand on his hands and the other reaching out to his cheek.
“Hmm, now would that be so bad?” he said as he tilted to kiss your palm. Truth be told he didn’t even really want to go, he just wanted to spend the rest of the evening with you if he could.
“Everyone came for you Jumin, it would be rude to disappear on them now would it?” you said as you turned to face him. “And besides, after tonight, we have the whole month to ourselves, just you and me,” your smile reaching your eyes, a whole month just the two of you. It was making you feel so giddy, excitement leaping out from your voice. You never had such a long time alone together, he always had business trips every now and then.
Jumin looked back at you lovingly, yes, a whole month with you was all he could ask for. It seemed like paradise, heaven even. You rested your hands on his chest as he held your waist, swaying you now around the bedroom slowly.
“I already planned the first few days, we’ll go to a private island, then visit the gardens and go to a secluded beach. I realized I was planning this all on my own without asking you where you would like to go,” he said as he tucked a strand hair behind your ear.
“Where do you want to go, my love?” he asked as placed his hand on your waist again.
Where would you like to go?
Your eyes looked down to your hands, your mind blanking on any place you’d like to go. Then you saw your ring shimmer, Only the best for MC, you heard Jumin’s voice in your head as you looked at the ring and giggled.
Suddenly you knew where you’d want to go.
You looked up straight to his eyes lovingly and held his cheek. The world could offer you all the treasures in the world, but all you wanted was to be beside this man in front of you.
The man who was once distant to his own emotions, never letting his feelings get the better of him. It was always about what was logical, what was the rational thing to do, but right now, he just lets his feelings pour out to you, the loving caress on your back, the loving eyes and smile he looks at you with, full of sincerity. His affections always swooned you, the kiss on your temple before he sleeps, the phone calls during lunch, and the whispers of admiring your beauty.
“I’d go anywhere as long as I’m with you, Jumin,” you smiled. Jumin’s brows raised a little, taken aback with your words. He felt his heart ache in joy, how could you make him feel so love? Your words always warm and sincere, it never failed to make him happy and reach to his heart, no riches in the world could ever buy this kind of happiness. And he’s glad he found it, rather you found him, he thought.
Jumin chuckled, his heart swelling in joy. Of course, the place doesn’t matter, whether you’re in a private island or even just inside the penthouse, as long as you were together he’d be happy too. Taking your hand on his cheek he kissed your palm once again.
“Of course, as long as we’re together, it doesn’t matter,” he said as he looked at you lovingly. He laced his fingers to yours as he raised them, leaning in as he nuzzles his cheek to yours. He swayed you slowly and steadily again, humming as he relished in the moment. Could he be selfish and not go to the party anymore? He chuckled to himself, every second counts and he wants to spend every one of it with you.
“Happy birthday, Jumin,” you whispered. You felt Jumin smile and you smiled as well.
Jumin continued to sway you in your bedroom as he hummed, you were swooped in into your own little world. You felt this overwhelmingly joy in your heart, happier by the second if it was even possible to be much more happier than you already are now. Chest to chest you could feel your hearts connect, beat as one.
It is indeed a happy birthday, Jumin thought.

Jumin week- Day 2:
Bitter wine
.
“Jumin~”
There was nothing like the distinct dulcet tones of his wife calling throughout the penthouse.
“Juminn~”
They were slightly drunken, he’d have to admit that, but beautiful nonetheless. That didn’t exactly mean that he was prepared to deal with whatever drunken antics she came along with however. Especially when he watched the way she traipsed into his office so carelessly, a devious smile between her rosy cheeks.
“Jumin~” she cooed again as she made her way around his desk, her fingers tracing over several piles of paper.
He hummed pleasantly as her fingers eventually traced up one of his arms and around his chin. “Yes, my love? How can I help you?”
MC lent herself against the back of his desk chair, her hands mapping her husband’s chest. “It’s late, Juju.”
He couldn’t help but smell the sweet alcohol lingering on her breath. They’d been drinking before he’d gone to do some more work; he often seemed to underestimate her tolerance. “I know,” he began, stroking the back of her wandering hand, “I just have to finish this and then I’ll come to rest. Why don’t you go ahead without me?”
Almost immediately, he watched her brows furrow and lips purse. “No... I’m gonna wait for you obviously.” She paused slightly, her now free fingers twirling stands of his hair absentmindedly.
“I think you should rest, my love.”
“Why?” She retorted, seemingly offended by his suggestion and lack of attention.
Jumin mused, letting out a chuckle to himself as his wife continued to pet him: “Because I think you’re drunk.”
“I am not!” She protested profoundly before recollecting herself and removing herself from the chair, “I’m just tipsy... There’s a difference.”
“Really?” Jumin smirked to himself, lifting the glass of wine from his desk and turning to face his pouting wife. “Even if that is the case, you should rest.” He took a quick drink from the glass, it’s content almost emptied.
MC huffed at his cocky demeanour, “You should rest too. How do I know you’re not drunk?” She flailed her arms almost melodramatically as she tried to emphasise her points.
“I’m not.”
“Really?”
Her husband rolled his tires eyes, “Of course I’m not.”
“Fine...” she mocked like a child, drawing out her vowels. “Then you don’t need that then, do you?” Her eyes were wide all of a sudden as she pointed to the shallow glass in his hand.
Jumin smirked, swirling the dark liquid ominously for a moment, “You won’t like it.”
“You don’t know that,” her whining continued: “I might love it.”
Jumin shrugged, holding out the glass to her and smiling. “Ok. Knock yourself out.”
He sat back in his seat, ready for the hyperbolic reaction his wife would inevitably give. The only thing he wasn’t expecting was for her to swig the whole thing, and all of a sudden his eyes were as wide as hers.
She swallowed it bitterly, her whole face scrunching up as she stuck her tongue out in utter disgust. “Oh my god, that tastes like shit!”
Jumin couldn’t help but begin to laugh as he watched her cover her moth with one hand, her eyebrows knitted together violently. “I told you you wouldn’t like it.”
“Don’t laugh at me!” She forced the glass back in his hand but he did not stop his low cackling. “How can you drink that?”
“Not everything is sweet, my love.” She looked to his toothy grin as he pulled her closer by the hand. “I’m sorry for laughing at you... I’ll come to bed now, ok?”
MC couldn’t help but smile at the sound of his soft voice, her hands cupping either side of his face, “Ok.”

Swimming Pool (Jumin X MC) (Jumin Week Day 4)
I was inspired by the 2 year anniversary picture for this one! Thought it was a good starting point for this prompt so I decided to use it! Also sorry but this one is a long one! (Nearly 2k words!!)
(Swimming pool vs beach)
@juminweek2019
Jumin sits under an umbrella at the side of the pool, observing the action happening in front of him. Splashing, playing, and fooling around wasn't on his agenda for the day. Instead, he planned to take this day as an opportunity to relax and take his mind off of all the stress work had given him.
The rest of the RFA, on the other hand, took this as a chance to have some much-needed fun together. Seven took this as an opportunity to mess around with everyone as much as possible, wearing a shark fin floatie on his back as he swims under the water to scare someone. I lost count of how many times he's knocked poor Yoosung out of his bright yellow duck ring. I can't help but feel sorry for that kid. Sort of. I must admit it's very entertaining to watch!
Zen and Jaehee attempted to play with an inflatable ball that resembles a watermelon with Yoosung but got distracted numerous times. I guess Zen thought it was funny to splash Jaehee at times where she'd least expect it. It might be to get her to relax. She's worked awfully hard too.
I sit at the edge of the pool, my legs submerged up to my calves in the cool water. I'm not quite on Jumin's level where I'd want to stay as far away from the pool as possible to avoid any mischief, but I'm not quite ready for any energetic interactions within the water yet. Sitting and swinging my legs in the water, creating small, therapeutic ripples across the water's surface is quite enough for me at this moment. It's relaxing to see everyone together and having fun! Even if V couldn't make it...
"MC!" I hear a voice call. I look up to see Yoosung waving his arm vigorously as he struggles to keep balance in his inflatable ring. The others all gather around him and look in my direction. "Come join us!"
"I will in a little bit!" I shout back, adjusting the pair of sunglasses sitting on my head.
"Okay!" His voice drift slightly as he starts to swim away.
"Don't be too long, yeah?" Zen adds, following on in Yoosung’s direction. Jaehee and Seven tag along behind.
A relaxed laugh emerges from my lips as I watch them slowly shrink in the distance the further away they get. A warm summer's breeze blows gently against by back, pushing my hair to expose my skin not covered by my swimsuit. The sun shines brightly, creating a shimmer across the water that bounces from the splashing that my friends create. It's like I'm lost in a trance. I feel so calm and happy.
"If you're not going to join them, why don't you join me?" A baritone voice suggests from above. I turn to see Jumin, his hair falling down in front of him as he tilts he's chiselled chin down to me. His sunglasses held to sit at the tip of his nose by his toned hand, staring at me with his grey eyes that I love so much.
"I thought you said you didn't want to get near the pool? Yet here you are!" I snicker jokingly. His lips pull up into a wholehearted smile, letting out a deep, playful sigh.
"May I?" He gestures to sit next to me. I lift my hand up out of the way and nod. The proximity closes quickly once he's sat by my side, his gaze not leaving my face. His hand sits where my own once laid, asking for mine to be placed on top. Our arms barely touching as we both have our legs dangling into the pool water.
It's nice to finally get him to join me. I didn't want him to sit so far away from everyone the whole day. I want to be able to spend some time together in the pool and have some fun! Even if he's not keen on that idea.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look right now?" My husband's voice barely a whisper. My cheeks heat up, turning red as if I've caught the sun.
"You have. If I recall correctly, that would have been the seventh time today!"
"And I'll happily keep telling you." His laugh melts my heart! I tangle my fingers on top of his and bring my body in closer. I feel his head lay on top of mine as I rest my face against his shoulder. The fabric of his buttoned shirt is like silk against my rosy cheeks. Just his presence alone makes this moment feel perfect and I somehow am able to relax even more.
We sit here together for a moment. Nothing ever beats being with him, even if there's other people around me who I care about. I wouldn't be able to be this still and calm with anyone else. I feel my eyes slowly close and a smile form on my face. This is really the best feeling. The sun on my face, the laughter of my friends and the presence of my husband. I couldn't as for anything more!
Suddenly the calmness is broken as I'm pulled to the ground. Jumins arms wrapped tightly around my body as if to protect me. His grasp as tight as a knot. I couldn't see what happened as my eyes were closed but when I open them again, I see Jumin's body on top of mine. I hear a burst of laughter from afar. I feel cold and wet on my legs as if I've been splashed. Is that what happened?
I look up over Jumin's shoulder to see Seven not far away. He's in hysterics over the action he just pulled. I can't believe he just splashed us!
The dark haired man lifts his body up from mine, looking rather uncomfortable at how drenched his back has now become. I cannot help but to start laughing. I cover my face to try and conceal my laughter but it only gets worse when I see him turn to face Seven.
"Luciel!" There's annoyance in his tone. Seven's joker smirk fades instantly and is replaced by wide eyes filled with fear. He retreats to the others as fast as he could swim to avoid any conflict from Jumin. My own laughter continues to grow.
Jumin's attention shifts instantaneously to me who is now trying to suppress as much laughter as possible. It's a near impossible task!
"Are you laughing at me?" A devilish smirk grows on his face, a glint of playfulness in his eyes. This doesn't help the giggles that are still seeping out of my mouth behind my hands. I shake my head, tears from the laughter threatening to now fall. My stomach now hurting too.
"You are laughing at me!" He snickers. His body leaning in closer to me. I lean back to avoid him, trying my hardest not to let him see how much the laughter is making me hurt.
His hand reaches into the pool and flicks forward, splashing me wet with the cold water. I squeal and flinch in response which only makes my laughter grow even more. I didn't think it was possible! Has Seven created a catalyst of events which are changing Jumin as we speak? Is Jumin… Fooling around?
"Now we're both soaked! Is that better?" My husband stands and cups my face in his hands. He places a loving kiss on my forehead before retiring back to his seat under the umbrella. My cheeks grow redder by the second.
"Oh, come on, Mr. Trust-fund! Seven was trying to do you a favour! Do you really plan on staying over there the whole day?" Zen yells, teasing Jumin into joining everyone in the pool. Jumin stops in his tracks and turns to look out at the pool. That playful glint still in his eyes.
"Luciel has already made me alter my plans..." He shoots back, shocking not only Zen but everyone else too. Even me! What exactly does he plan on doing? Jumin Discreetly removes his shirt, revealing his back before turning around. My heart begins to flutter but the others faces become even more shocked.
He adjusts his trunks and slicks his hair back when out of the blue he starts to run. His destination: the pool! What has gotten into him? This isn't like him! His feet leave the surface of the edge as he morphs his body to create the perfect dive. His body barely makes a splash when he enters the water. He's like a dolphin as he swims under the surface before emerging for air.
He flicks his soaked, ashy hair as his head exits the water and runs over it with is hands. I've become mesmerised by how stunning he looks! With the sun reflecting off of his dewy skin, it's hard to believe he's even real!
Everyone claps and cheers, amazed by what just happened. However, Jumin doesn't acknowledge the round of applause from the others. He only focuses on me.
He swims forward, meeting me at the edge of the pool, only a couple of feet away from where I sit.
"Will you join me, sweetheart?" he pleads with his arms wide open. "I'll catch you!"
My smile widens. I move to stand at the edge of the pool and prepare to jump in myself. Jumin readies himself, moving a little closer in the water. I jump. His arms stretch out and grab me around my waist as I enter the water.
He lifts me up, chuckling with joy. Seeing him act like this is in many ways alien but to me, it's a common sight. He treats me so preciously and shows his best self, his happier self, when he's with me. This is an example of that!
The others swim over to join us as Jumin lowers me back down into the water.
"I cannot believe you jumped in like that!" Yoosung exclaims excitedly. "That was awesome!"
"It was rather unexpected, I might admit." Jaehee humbly adds.
"Well, as we're all here now, are we going to go and have some fun?" Zen announces. Seven yells in response before diving back under the water with everyone following him.
This is honestly what I was hoping to get out of this trip. Everyone having fun! And I'm pretty sure we'll all have some fun now!

Untapped Potential
@juminweek2019
Day Four: Swimming Pool
Your eyes gleamed as you watched your husband backstroking through the indoor pool. His muscles flexed as he moved - he looked like a powerful swan, each stroke having a purpose. He looked...
"So beautiful."
"What's that?" Jumin asked, his voice suddenly behind you.
"Gah!" You jumped from your chair and hastily fixed your bun. "How...! You were in the water a second ago!"
"And now I'm not," Jumin laughed, shaking his hair dry into a towel. "Darling, I can't comprehend why you refuse to get in the water. It's relaxing, and if you gave it a chance, you'd be surprised at how much you like it."
"Thanks but no thanks," you shuddered, hugging your elbows. "I told you about the last time I entered a pool."
"Fifteen years ago?" Jumin sat beside you, resting his hand on your hip.
You turned yourself to face him. "Yeah! I almost drowned, and that was a traumatic experience!"
"I understand," Jumin nodded. "I would never pressure you into doing anything you wouldn't want to do, dear. If sitting here makes you comfortable, then, by all means."
You squinted. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Jumin raised a wary brow. "Hm?"
"I see what you're doing, Jumin Han. You're trying to guilt-trip me into getting into the water, aren't you!"
Jumin stared at you, his eyes searching your face.
"I knew it! You think you're so slick, trying to manipulate me with your smooth words and passive-aggressiveness! I'll have you know before I had that incident, I used to be an excellent swimmer!"
Jumin's brow furrowed. "Dear -"
"In fact! I'll show you right now!" You stood, throwing your towel from around your shoulders, kicked your flip flops from your feet, and lightly jogged to the deep end of the pool.
"MC, wait a minute," Jumin called, moving to chase after you. "I wasn't implying anything - you can't run around the pool - MC, come back."
"Check me out!" You raised your arms above your head, sucked your breath in, and dove. A whirl of bubbles obstructed your vision, and you felt your feet touch the stony bottom, but you shut your eyes and swam towards the surface. You felt a vibration rush through you - no doubt, Jumin had jumped in after you. Opening your eyes slightly, you noticed his figure sloshing towards you. You swam as fast as you could towards him, feeling the air supply from your lungs depleting rapidly. His arms wrapped around you before you began to see spots and, with urgency, he speedily paddled to the surface.
As soon as your head broke through the water, you gasped wildly for air.
"I've got you," Jumin spoke, pulling you towards the edge of the pool and lifting you against the ledge with ease. "Breathe, darling..."
"S-See!" You heaved, pressing your hand to your chest. "Behold my... untapped... potential!"
"... Please tell me you're joking, MC."
You pouted and turned your head down. "... Yeah, that wasn't a very good joke, I'm afraid."
"Mm," Jumin grinned, rubbing your hand. "Your jokes are about as good as your swimming skills."
"Yeah... hey!" You yelled, lightly tapping his toned back.
"Come on," Jumin sighed teasingly, grabbing and kissing your hand. "We'll dry off, I'll have you checked out by a doctor, and we can do something we both enjoy."
You gasped eagerly. "Karaoke?!"
"... I said, something we both. Enjoy."
"... Fine."

Breakfast
Jumin Week 2020, Day One
@juminweek2019 Birthday | Cats VS. Berries
~*°*~*°*~*°*~*°*~*°*~
MC wiped the flour off their cheek and smiled proudly at the breakfast in front of them. A tower of suspiciously cat-shaped pancakes drizzled quite liberally with a strawberry compote and syrup. Any moment now Jumin would emerge from their room to leave for work. Every now and then MC had managed to wake up before him to make coffee or breakfast. But most times Jumin left with a gentle kiss goodbye to his half-asleep, still-in-bed spouse.
Today though was different!
MC had rolled out of bed at four in the morning while their husband was getting dressed and washed up—seriously, who woke up that early for work. Sneaking to the kitchen was the easy part. And luckily enough they liked cooking. For this special occasion, MC whipped up pancake batter, fried eggs with thick cuts of ham. This was going to be the best breakfast at the ungodly hours of the morning so help them because it was Jumin's birthday. And goodness gracious that man deserved at the very least a high quality morning meal before he scooted off for his daily duties.
"My love, I thought I heard you over here," Jumin's voice lilted from the down the hall.
MC giggled and prepped their plates on the counter.
Their husband appeared in an instant, his hands tying his neck-tie before straightening out his collar. A smile eased its way onto his previously perplexed countenance. He chuckled.
"And now I wonder, what's all this?"
MC tapped the spot next to his plate. "It's a birthday breakfast!"
"That can't be right, there isn't anyone here with a birthday that I know." His voice was tenor and rich, with that light shake in his tone that happened whenever he was joking. "Looks like you woke up early for nothing."
"Jumin I swear!" MC smacked his shoulder lightly as he sat down on the bar stool in front of the counter top.
Taking a fork up, he took a healthy bite of the pancakes chewing in his normal methodical and tedious way. After a swallow, he swiped his thumb over his bottom lip—his eyes shut in contemplation. MC pursed their lips, confused. The pancakes had tasted great, maybe with the compote and the syrup they were too sweet? Still Jumin had a surprising palate for both the savory and the sweet, something being too much of either or really shouldn't have affected him.
"It's missing something," he mentioned after a beat.
Leaning over his shoulder to take a look at his plate, MC frowned. "It shouldn't be…"
Suddenly, Jumin's lips pressed against MC's cheek with a slightly sticky kiss. Taken aback, they stared at him with a near-affronted look, hand covering the place he'd managed to peck. Jumin pulled back with a laugh, and a small lopsided grin.
"There we are, now it's not missing anything."
MC scrubbed at their cheek, trying to ignore the flush blooming along the bridge of their nose. "You're literally such a dork."
"I'm sorry but my beloved did not grace me with a kiss good morning yet." He began to eat again, this time with a little more enthusiasm. "It's not my fault the world is tasteless and unsweetened until then."
Snorting, MC sat next to him and began to eat as well, occasionally stealing some of the food off his plate. This earned them an amusing look from Jumin that consisted of both playfully horrified and insulted. Which in turn began the sword fight with forks, a great battle for the food on each other's plates.
Finally Jumin gave up, shaking his head and chuckling, and quickly finished eating what was left for him. "Sorry to eat and run, my love. I do need to hurry out."
"Busy day?"
"Back to back meetings all this morning."
"Absolutely disgusting." MC picked up their dishes to deposit into the sink.
Jumin's kiss landed on their cheek again, still lightly sticky with syrup. "Dinner reservations are at five tonight."
"Oh shame, I have a hot date with my husband then."
"You are full of it this morning." He gave a gentle hug to follow his kiss, a content hum rumbling through his chest. "But I look forward to my hot date."
MC snuggled close to the embrace. "Good. It's going to be great."
"Of no doubt." He picked up his briefcase by the front door and toed on his shoes.
"Happy birthday, Jumin!" MC shouted after him.
He waved and walked out through the door, a pale and gentle hue of pink dusting his ears as he smiled to himself.

Jumin week 2020 Day 2 Prompt: Sweet wine
  @juminweek2019
The young girl seemed a little out of place between the well known artist and the CEO in line of C&R. She fiddled with the hem of her dark silk blouse and breathed in to calm herself down. Mc never really spent time with either Jumin or V alone. So having them both around herself felt a little intimidating at first. She knew that they would never do her any harm and they also promised to stay by her side for the whole wine tasting event. When Jumin offered her his arm she gladly hooked her own around his and let the young man guide her around.
It was strange having him so near when she could count down all the things she knew about Jumin on one hand. Mc really enjoyed his presence though, she felt safe around him and knew that he cared deeply for those who were closer to him than his business partners.
She glanced at him from the side a few times, looking away every time he seemed to notice her staring at him. This was the first time she noticed how good looking he was with his dark, messy hair, the sharp onyx eyes and his kind smile. She breathed in again and put her hair behind her ear. Not noticing Jumin watching her too every time she wasn’t looking at him.
The place was crowded with all kinds of people. Reporters, business folks and of course the staff of Vine Han. Mc heard voices and laughter out of every corner and couldn’t decide where to listen to first.
Jumin noticed her being a little bit overwhelmed and took her to a quieter place, where V already saved at a small table for four persons. He waved over to the both of them and greeted them with a warm smile, when they sat down. “Hey, you two would really make a great couple.” he blurted out, immediately regretting it after seeing his best friend’s grimace.   Before Jumin could even answer him, a waiter gave them their cards.
“Shall I give you a hand, Mc?” V asked, when he noticed her staring helplessly at the card.
“I think I’ll just follow your orders, I’ve never done something like this before.” she confessed and held the card up to hide the blush on her cheeks. The young men looked at each other and placed their order.
Soon after the crystal glasses clinked together. Each person sipping a little bit of the wine, feeling it on their tongue, savouring the aromatic taste of every wine. Each wine had a different taste. Bitter, dry, sweet.
Even if they never swallowed any of the wines, Mc felt a little bit dizzy after her fourth try. The young woman began giggling at the boys jokes and funny stories they told each other. Wiht the new found courage she also started to open up a little bit more and talked a lot about the work she did before she stumbled into the RFA. “I feel like I’m talking too much just now. How about you guys, how did you meet?”, the brown haired girl asked when she realized that she was balbbering aorund. Mc listened them carefully, watching the young men very closely when they told her the story of the first time they saw each other.
Another few glasses of sweet wine followed, the three of them felt lighter around their hearts. The flush of red on their cheeks got brighter with every glass that followed.
Only a few moments later - or were it hours?- V rose from his seat and rubbed the back of his neck. He cleared his throat before he tried to make his statement. “I think, I’ll pick up another bottle of the sweet wine, take good care of Mc, Jumin.”, was what he wanted to say, but only gibberish came out of him.
Jumin and Mc looked at him, both of them breaking out in heart warming laughter. Jihyun pouted, turned around and disappeared into the crowd. Hopefully he’ll get a bottle of water too.
“Hey, Mc, uhm, thank you for coming with us again, I really enjoyed this evening a lot.” Jumin said suddenly, breaking the silence that broke out ever since V disappeared. “No problem, it’s really fun. I’m sorry for taking my time to open up with you guys.” Mc said, her fingers ran softly over the glass, as if she was about to say something else. Jumin wanted to ask at first, but he held himself back again, just like he did a gazillion times before. He didn’t feel like it was his right to ask her all those questions. Then he heard the soft music playing and got an idea.
He stood up and reached out his hand, smiling at Mc with soft eyes.
“May I ask for this dance?”, the smile grew softer when she actually placed her tiny hand into his, while standing up.
“I’d gladly be your dance partner, Jumin,  BUT I’ll never make it up to your dancing skills, so I hope you won’t regret this.” her voice was trembling, and all of a sudden her heart began to race. Why was she feeling so nervous?
They swayed around to the music that was hard to hear. With the grass under her feet she felt as if she was about to lose her balance. But Jumins firm grip steadied her, giving her back the balance she needed.
“If it’s easier for you, you could also stand on my shoes.” his soft chuckle was merely but a whipser, because he was too anxious to talk without a lowered voice. as if the bubble would break when he talked louder than that.
“Isn’t that cheating?” Mc asked. However she got rid of her pumps and placed her feet on the young man’s shoes. Her hand let go of his and she placed them both around his neck. His free hand wandered to the free side of her waist and before he could even say something, he felt her head leaning into his chest.
The time seemed ot stay still around them, they only moved slowly to the beat. Both of them Moving very carefully. The young girl looked up at Jumin after some time, an angelic grin on her face made it hard for Jumin to keep his cool.
“Can I tell you a secret?” she blushed when she tilted her head to keep eye contact. “Of course you can. What is it?`”
“I think I fell in love with you. You’re such a kind, heartwarming person Jumin and actually I was super afraid of coming with you today. But I totally don’t regret it. I just, really started to like you… and … and..” Mc’s outburst was cut off by Jumin who placed a finger on her soft lips.
“Shhh… Don’t say something like that Mc, you’re drunk. It’s probably just the sweet wine speaking, right?” “I don’t think it is. It’s the truth!” She babbled and took the chance of surprise and jumped up a little bit to place a quick kiss on his lips, or the corner of mouth to be more exact.
“I hope I will remember this.” she mumbled into his chest, nuzzling her nose in his striped shirt.
“Oh don’t worry about that, I will remember this crystal clear.” Jumin said and kissed her hair, stroking over it with one hand.
His heart felt light and he closed his eyes. The stung in his heart told him that it would soon be over though. Jumin tried to enjoy the few moments he had, savouring each second of it like the sweet wine they tasted together. Soon she would snap out of her cloud and sobered up enough to stay away from him again.

Mysme Fictober/Jumin Week Oct 5
For @mysme-fictober 2020 prompt list
and
@juminweek2019 Day 1: Birthday/Cats vs. Berries
5: Jack-O-Lantern
“Am I doing this correctly?” Jumin, the sleeves of his striped dress shirt rolled up over his elbows, his hair continuously falling over his eyes as he bent over the pumpkin on the kitchen table. MC laughed and got up from her seat quickly heading into the bedroom then back.
“Here, this might help.” She pushed a round silk headband over Jumin’s head then pushed it back to secure his hair away from his eyes. The lavender color looked good on him.
Jumin looked up at his wife and gave her a loving smile. Only she could do these things to him and he allow it. The look in her eyes gave him life, so he denied her nothing. It was to his great fortune that she in turn did not ask for the world, but only for him.
“Yes, I have at times wondered about the efficiency of Yoosung’s hair clips, however, it would not fit the aesthetic of a director of a large and affluent company.”
MC giggled at the image of Jumin wearing Yoosung’s hair clips. “No, I suppose nobody would take you seriously. Why not cut your hair shorter then?” she asked as she sat back down to attempt to carve out her own pumpkin. There was a table cloth on the table to catch all the pumpkin innards. When she had suggested they carve their own pumpkins Jumin had researched and researched before agreeing.
“I have often thought of it, but, I like this length most of the time, it suits me.” He scooped out the seeds of the pumpkin and scraped the inside until it was as smooth as the photo in the instructions he had printed out. The pumpkin was medium sized and almost perfectly round, there was a slight imperfection to the color but Jumin figured he would simply carve his design on the opposite side and no one need know. He had bought the best pumpkin carving tools he was able to find and now set about tracing the image he wanted onto the surface of the pumpkin.
Glancing towards his wife he noted how she furrowed her brow in concentration and thinned out her lips. Her cute little nose wrinkled quite pleasantly, he had to resist an urge to lean over and kiss the tip. He marveled at just how much his life hand changed in such a short period of time. Any other year and he would not have given this holiday a single thought. At this time he would surely have been in the office working on one thing or another. Now, he was elbow deep into the insides of a large squash and loving every minute of it.
Forcing himself to focus on his design and not on his lovely wife was difficult, but he did it. Once the outline was drawn onto the pumpkin, he held it out to look at it and make sure he had missed nothing. Perfection! Now came the difficult part. He picked up the small sawing tool and began to cut away what needed to be discarded. He regularly consulted the instructions so as not to make a mistake. In fact, he double checked he was about to make a correct cut before proceeding.
“How’s it going?” MC asked. Jumin looked up and couldn’t stop the laugh that escaped his throat. “What?” MC’s eyes were large and confused.
“Here.” Jumin set his pumpkin down and grabbed one of the clean towels on the table. He gently wiped away some pumpkin guts from his wife’s cheek. He leaned over and kissed the same area. She grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him back down when he tried to move away, capturing his lips. He sighed and lingered on her lips, the soft feel like a balm on his entire life.
“I see what you are doing, trying to distract me. It will not work, I am almost finished.” He sat back down on his seat and MC pouted.
“Fine, I’m almost finished too.” She turned back to her work and Jumin grinned. She made him feel more alive than ever. Before her, he had been floating through life in a fog, and he might have continued that way, never knowing what life really meant, had she not pushed him out of it. He enjoyed his work, the company, loved his father and still gained much pride in what he did, but he was much more fulfilled than he had ever been. His heart was full like never before.
He hummed as he finished up his design, the sound coming naturally. He had often been told his singing voice was beautiful, yet he had never taken much enjoyment out of it. Now, he would sing for MC, or sing when he was alone and at peace, a sign of his happiness and contentment. Even Jaehee had commented that he often hummed under his breath while reading through his documents. He chuckled and MC gave him a soft knowing glance.
“Done.” He stated, setting his finished jack-o-lantern down and placing the cap on top. Perfect.
“Wait! You have to put the candle inside.” MC reminded him as she did the same to hers. They had purchased electric ones that didn’t need to be lit, as the building did not allow for real candles to be used.
“Right.” Jumin reached for the LED candle on his side, turned it on and placed it inside. “Ready?” he asked MC. Their respective newly carved jack-o-lanterns facing themselves ready to be revealed.
“Ready.” She answered.
“One…two…” they intoned together, “THREE.” They each turned their creations to each other, and MC gasped while Jumin tried unsuccessfully not to laugh. MC’s monstrosity was anything but perfect. The two almost triangular eyes were lopsided, one vastly larger than the other. There was a single gash in the center he could only assume was supposed to be a nose, and the too large mouth had dangling teeth that appeared to be one strong breath away from completely falling off. Not to mention she had done an abysmal job of clearing out the inside as there were orange strings visible inside.
“Well, it is certainly ghastly enough for Halloween.” Jumin chided his wife. MC rolled her eyes, her jaw tight.
“Is there anything that you’re bad at?” she asked, exasperated. Jumin had precisely recreated a photo of Elizabeth 3rd.
“I had to make sure my precious, I mean, OUR precious Elizabeth 3rd was accurately portrayed, anything less would have been an affront to her.” MC could only shake her head.
“Well, you did her justice my love.” She laughed and sat on her husband’s lap. “She would be proud to sit outside our door for all to see.” She kissed him, removing the headband and running her fingers through his thick dark hair. “Now, why don’t we go take a shower and clean up.” She suggested. He readily agreed.

[my Ko-fi♡]
When an unwanted vistor refuses to leave, MC comes up with an idea.
note: this is set during the story mode at 11am on day 8 of Jumin's route, the one where Sarah comes to the penthouse. I wanted to do a bit of a different take on it!
°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。°。
“...Got you.”
Two simple words shifted the tone of the whole conversation and seemingly the atmosphere of the whole penthouse.
MC tried to hold back her smile when she realized that Jumin had been teasing, unable to tear her eyes away as Sarah’s expression fell. She looked hopelessly confused.
“Why are you smiling?” she asked quickly. MC felt her eyebrows raise, thinking she might have accidentally smiled, but Sarah’s eyes were glued to Jumin.
There was a new expression on his face, one MC hadn’t seen yet. His lips were upturned in a small, satisfied smile. It was attractive on him, but she couldn’t help but notice the remaining darkness in his eyes. It had been such an upsetting day for him, and she felt an insistent nagging at her heart when she thought about how he was repressing all of his bubbling emotions.
“I just repeated some lines from a soap opera I watched. It’s funny that you’re almost replaying that scene for me. Apparently, it’s a very popular TV show these days,” he explained, his voice calm, unlike the energy that was radiating off the pink-haired woman standing in front of him.
“What?! You were messing with me?!” she asked incredulously, her nails digging into and creasing the photo she’d brought with her.
“Yes,” Jumin replied simply, the smile fading from his lips. MC watched as traces of worry and distress laced back into his features, and she wished more than anything that Sarah would leave. For his sake.
“Who do you think you are?” Sarah yelled, her eyebrows making a deep v on her forehead. Jumin lifted his wrist to glance at his watch, adjusting his sleeves once more before opening his mouth to answer. MC watched silently, wondering how he was able to stay so calm while someone screamed in his face.
“Unfortunately, I will be charged with embezzlement if I use company assets for personal means. I’m not keen on being behind iron bars,” he responded, crossing his arms over his chest tightly. Sarah scoffed, taking one step closer to the two of them.
“Are you out of your mind?” she asked, her amber eyes blown wide. Jumin didn’t step away, keeping eye contact with her as she stared him down.
“Yes. You’ve managed to come here with a fake photo of my cat you found online and insult my dear MC. My joke is only fair, don’t you think?” he asked, his tone darkening and becoming more condescending as he continued on. Despite that, MC found herself flushing slightly at his reference to her, pressing her lips together to hold back another smile.
“I’ve never insulted her!” Sarah yelled, making MC’s eyebrows knit together on her forehead as she remembered just a few minutes before. “And the cat photo! I...I was tricked too!” It was obvious that she was reaching for any purchase as she tried to lie, attempting to regain Jumin’s trust. But it was futile, and MC knew that. Why wouldn’t she just leave?
“And isn’t it rude that you let another woman in your house when you're engaged?! And at that, such an average looking girl!” she exclaimed. Before MC could even take a breath, she noticed Jumin bristle, his expression becoming far fiercer than she’d seen before.
“MC is not an average girl,” he spoke quickly, making her heart palpitate in her chest as she watched him. “What you see isn’t everything. You won’t understand even if I explain it to you.”
Sarah finally looked over to her as she stood next to and slightly behind Jumin, hatred making her golden eyes seem to burn. She split the grimace on her lips, opening her mouth to speak, but Jumin cut her off.
“It seems we have no more to talk about. Why don’t you leave?” he spoke firmly, a frown already settling deep into his features. MC felt her heart ache for him, knowing that he didn’t need more chaos after all that had happened that morning.
Sarah’s jaw dropped almost comically, and a hand came to rest over her heart. MC couldn’t believe she was still trying so hard.
“No!” she burst out, making MC let out an exasperated breath. Couldn’t she see that she’d lost the battle?
“I can’t leave like this!” she screeched, looking at Jumin expectantly. When he simply stared at her, she almost looked like she could cry.
MC realized that she was pressing her nails sharply into her palms, releasing that tension and taking a deep breath. Wasn’t there anything she could do? She couldn’t stand there any longer and watch Jumin’s list of problems grow.
“I don’t know what is not fair, but if you do not wish to leave, I will call security and have you removed,” Jumin told Sarah, taking a breath to call the chief just as a plausible idea popped into MC’s head. She didn’t have time to think, placing a hand on his shoulder and relaxing just a little when he quietly released the breath he’d been holding and turned to look at her.
“What is it?” he asked gently, shifting all his attention to her. The nervousness that came with her plan flushed her system, a blush coming to rest on her cheeks.
“I have an idea,” MC whispered, glancing at Sarah before Jumin turned his body completely towards her and blocked the infuriated woman from view.
“To make her leave?” he asked lightly, letting his arms come unfolded to rest at his sides. MC nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. But as his eyes darted down to watch her lips curl, she was the one who needed to be calmed. There was no way he could already guess what she was thinking, right?
“I’m not leaving!” Sarah yelled loudly and almost desperately, making MC jump just a little. Jumin’s expression didn’t change, still offering her such a soft and caring look.
“Go ahead,” he whispered, giving her a small, trusting smile that made her stomach do a flip. She took a deep breath, feeling her hands shaking slightly. She couldn’t believe what she was thinking.
“Ju-Jumin,” she spoke softly, seeing his eyebrows furrow slightly as his stare made her face grow hot. But he waited quietly for her to continue, searching her eyes as she steeled herself.
“Can I kiss you?” she asked him in a whisper, pressing her hands into fists. She almost looked away in embarrassment, but the way his eyes widened surprised her. He watched her for a short eternity, perhaps to gauge whether she was serious.
Jumin finally let out a breathy laugh, reaching up to run a hand through his hair. It was as she watched him do so that she noticed the blush on his cheeks, her heart going into overtime. But he was smiling brightly, the sight lifting her spirits.
“Please,” was all he said in reply, speaking just loud enough for her to hear. Her fingers were tingling, but she found the nerve to stand on her tiptoes and press a hand to his cheek. She felt him hesitantly take hold of her waist, making a shallow breath catch in her throat.
Jumin leaned down to meet her as she reached to press her lips to his, her eyes fluttering closed. They were both unsure, but the way their lips fit together so perfectly made her knees weaken and nearly buckle. He steadied her against his chest, pulling her closer as the warmth from his lips spread through her whole body.
She was vaguely aware of the screech that Sarah let out, her mind dizzy from the way he was kissing her so gently. She reluctantly pulled away, trying to come back down to Earth as she watched Sarah stomp away over Jumin’s shoulder and yell something about ‘Ms. Choi.’
MC’s thoughts drifted back to the man holding her so closely, seeing the gentle, pink blush that had spread across his cheekbones from the corner of her eye.
“I wanted to do that from the first moment I saw you,” he spoke breathlessly, making her heart pound even harder against her ribs. She couldn’t bring herself to meet his eyes quite yet, staring at his chest as she let herself down from her tiptoes. She felt his hand shift upwards against her side, his fingers curling against her slightly as if to keep her there. Her lips were tingling from the pressure of his, and it all made her mind hazy. But she was glad that her plan had worked.
She finally looked up at him, feeling a delighted pit form in her stomach at the way his grey eyes glowed for her. He was looking at her like she was the solution to every problem he’d ever had and ever would have, like he’d found something he’d lost and had never hoped to find again.
She let her hands fall from his shoulders, biting her lip shyly as she looked away once more. She was surprised at how quickly she’d fallen for him, but the feeling blooming in her chest when he looked at her like that felt anything but wrong.
Jumin caught her left hand in his as it fell back to her side, ducking his head to recapture her averted gaze.
“I want you to be comfortable here…” he spoke softly, glancing at their hands as he intertwined their fingers slowly. His hand dwarfed hers as he held it gingerly, her cold fingers warming up against his skin. Her breaths were quiet and shallow, watching the silver of his eyes continue to shine as he smiled lightly.
“But can I ask for one more kiss?” he continued, eliciting a small gasp from her. She blinked rapidly, caught off guard but charmed by the way he was quietly waiting for her permission.
“Yes,” she answered, seeing his sincere smile for only a moment before he eagerly kissed her again. His hand tightened at her side, his thumb rubbing a small circle there as her free hand moved to steady herself against his chest. He was more prepared that time, but he was still just as gentle, kissing her like a perfect gentleman.
Their second kiss left her even dizzier than the first, and as he pulled away and left her thoroughly kissed, she had half a mind to thank Sarah for being so stubborn.

Jumin week- Day 1:
Happy Birthday/ Berries
.
Jumin had made a repeated effort to downplay the fact that it was soon to be his birthday. He voiced many times that he ‘didn’t want any fuss made’ or that ‘birthdays simply just weren’t special’ but MC would only tease back that it was because it just made him feel old. Of course they were going to celebrate. Even if it wasn’t a huge function with high-end dining and important guests, MC wanted him to spend some time for himself at the very least.
It was a lot harder than you’d imagine to even get something that basic done. Jumin had his mind set on not doing anything, and if it was set then he was going to be stubborn about it. He simply ‘couldn’t’ get the time off work. It was ‘impossible’, he was ‘too busy’, and so on, but he was evidently underestimating his own wife. It was most definitely possible. It was what MC wanted and what a determined woman wants, she gets.
So she went straight to Jaehee; she cleared his schedule herself and, before he had a choice, she was dragging him out of the office midday and forcing him into the back of the car. “Now, put this on!” MC was practically beaming as she finally got him to sit with her, holding out a thick silk tie in his direction.
Jumin looked to the tie and then back up to her cocky smile, though his face did not mirror hers. “And what’s this for?”
“A blindfold.” She held it out further in his direction, the devious smirk on her face still beaming. “I don’t want you to know where we’re going.”
“We’re not just going back to the penthouse?” He sounded slightly deflated but he couldn’t help but be intrigued by what she had planned.
She only shook her head in response, thrusting the fabric further into his hands with the most innocent smile. He took the blindfold with little reluctance and put it on himself, sighing as he sat back and waited for things to take its course.
.
Getting her husband out of the car wasn’t as easy as it was to get him in however. For someone who was so intrigued with blindfolds he definitely wasn’t good in one. “Just take my hand,” MC whined as she tried to lure Jumin out of his seat.
“I would,” he began, trying to step out of the car in her direction, “but I can’t see your hand.”
MC pursed her lips at the confusion. Admittedly, Jumin was probably a lot better at directing someone in a blindfold than she was. She pulled him from the vehicle with little hesitance, giving him little time to process and eliciting a very nervous laugh from him.
Jumin clutched onto her hand tightly, wondering just how he’d let himself get into a situation like this. He hadn’t a clue where they were but he’d gone from walking on a road to what felt like grass fairly fast. “Do you plan on dragging me for long?”
He heard her huff at his concerns: “You’re so impatient.”
“And you thought I would function well like this?” Jumin humoured with her, feeling more comfortable as they just continued to walk hand in hand.
“Well, I thought you’d be better than this...” Though he couldn’t see her face, he could most certainly hear her smile as she spoke.
“Here!” They came to a sudden halt with her excited cheer, though she didn’t let go of his hand. She moved to stand in front of him, kissing his cheek gently before carefully removing the fabric for him.
It took Jumin a second for his eyes to readjust to the light. They were in the cherry orchard; the season was near an end but there were still a few fruits visible on the trees. She’d made a beautiful setup for the two of them in a small clearing. Just some blankets, pillows, lanterns, and fruits of course - homely and comforting.
“I know you didn’t want anything,” MC began, gazing up at him quitely, “but I couldn’t just pretend like it was another day.”
Jumin stayed silent, his eyes moving from the scene to the gentle smile on her face. He’d only been blinded for so long and yet he forgot just how contagious her smile was. He moved his hands to hold her waist, returning her peck with a loving kiss to her lips. “Thank you, my love... I’m sorry I fought you so much for this.”
She giggled to herself, brushing the stray hairs from his face tenderly. “Happy birthday, Jumin.”

Video Games ( Jumin x MC) (Juminweek - Day 3)
I know at the time of this post Jumin week is officially over but I haven’t been able to post in time as I haven’t been very well. I also had ides for what to write and changed them half way through! However, Here’s day 3! I got heavily inspired by Animal Crossing as that's what I've been playing when I’m not playing Jumin’s route on repeat! I can imagine Something like this happening so I had to write it. I hope you enjoy!
(Video games vs soap operas)
My head rests against the soft feather pillow as I adjust the linen bed sheets around my body. I snuggle in wiggling my toes and ankles around the covers to get warm. It doesn't take long to get comfortable.
A warm glow faintly lights the room from the lamps positioned on either side of the bed. The door to the on-suite bathroom is left open ajar, letting the light from that room sneak out into the dimly lit bedroom where I lay. My husband's phone occasionally brightens up as either a message or an email gives him an alert, although he isn't able to see them right now. The last spot of light comes from what is sat in my hands.
Each night since receiving the gift from my husband, I have been spending some time playing on my 'Nintendo Switch'. Specifically to play 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons'. I am often off before my husband comes and joins me in bed, so we can spend some time in each others arms before drifting off to sleep. Tonight however, I have been informed that I would be having a meteor shower in the game, and I don't want to miss it!
Jumin emerges from the bathroom. He tugs gently at the collar of his pyjamas as he walks towards his side of the bed. His eyes don't leave me despite mine being glued to the small screen of the console. The sheets are lifted and his body soon comes to join me under the duvet. His eyes still don't leave my presence.
"Can I ask a question?" Jumin says, bringing his body in closer to mine and placing his arm underneath my head. The heat of his body gives me a sense of stimulation, however, it's not quite enough to bring me out of my trace the game has caught me in.
"Uh-huh" I respond, not taking my eyes off the screen as I move my thumbs around the control buttons. I can feel him frowning in response to me not looking at him.
"Can you explain what makes this game so special to you?" He curiously asks. His eyes drift away from me and onto my screen as I move my character round the environment. Seeing him take an interest in something that is way beyond his expertise is an entertaining yet welcome thought. It was at this point I divert my attention to him instead. I crack a smile at him and I place the console down on my lap. I wonder why he'd ask that?
"Are you interested in it?" I tease. Jumin's eyes lift to meet mine. His ash black locks fall effortlessly in front of his eyes. His expression is warm and gentle but I can see curiosity sparking in his smile with a faint smirk.
"One could say so. I just want to know why you're so invested in it! It seems like it's all you're doing in you're spare time now." His free hand tucks a loose wisp of hair behind my ear and his thumb delicately rubs across my cheek. Through his touch he I could feel that he's somewhat disappointed. It breaks me a little. I didn't realise I was that invested and it was secretly affecting him.
"Have I been spending too much time on it? I'm sorry! Ugh, why didn't I realise that-"
"Don't be ridiculous, princess!" He laughs. "I must admit, I wish to have some more attention, but then again, I can see how happy it makes you so that is enough to satisfy me. I want you to show me what you're playing so I can understand why you love it so much!"
Hearing him say that makes my heart flutter. He's genuinely curious. That's adorable!
My head turns to fully face him. A joyful sigh escapes my lips before I pull my body in closer to his. I rest my head on his shoulder and his head falls to lay on top on mine. His free arm wraps around my waist as I bring the Switch up to my face again. I tilt the console enough so Jumin has a clear view of the screen in between my hands. It's so nice to be able to share this with him!
"Will I need to explain everything to you?" I question him.
"No, I've seen advertisements for this game before so I get the base idea of the concept. If I have any questions I'll ask." he responds. I hum back in content.
I show my husband my island that I have spent hours on to make perfect. The first place I decide to take him to is the airport to show of the creativity of my island entrance. Cliffs littered with flowers, small knickknacks, and the odd waterfall stand before my character.
He remains quiet as I tour him around the cliffs and pathways, pointing out my villagers homes and the areas I've decorated to resemble different community places. I know his silence is a good thing. He's not bored nor not paying attention. When he's like this, I can tell he's invested. It was something I had to learn to get used to, however, that's how he's always been apparently.
"Was that a cat?" He quickly exclaims. He sounds excited! I let out a light-hearted laugh as I make my character retrace her steps. Indeed it was a cat. Someone who I spent a lot of time and dedication to find. A cat named Raymond.
"It took me weeks to finally find him! He's one of, if not, the most popular villagers in the game but that's not why I wanted him..." I tell Jumin. My voice trails off and I feel his grip around me tighten.
"Why did you want him?" He softly asks. My cheeks flush red. I'm thankful that he can't see my face properly right now for I'd be rather embarrassed if he did. I hesitate to answer at first, trying to laugh it off and hoping he wouldn't notice my awkwardness.
Truth is, I wanted him because he reminded me so much of Jumin. For a start, he's a cat! He wears a little suit and talks in a sophisticated way which is very typical of Jumin too. I doesn't help that his house is designed to look like an office either! It was like Jumin was in mind when they made him!
"It's a silly reason really..." I mumble under my laughter. It's not really silly but it's just a bit cringe worthy.
"It's because he reminds you of me isn't it?" He speculated. My cheeks only flush more. How on earth is he so good at figuring me out? It's like he can read my mind!
I move my head from his shoulder and turn my body to face him. His eyes are drawn to the peachy hue of my cheeks which trigger a chain reaction in his own. Seeing him become flustered makes me feel less embarrassed. It also makes my reasoning feel less child-like and more meaningful.
"I think that might be enough for tonight." Jumin's arm reaches for the console in my hands and carefully plucks it from my hands. He places it on the bedside table before bringing his hand back around my body. He pulls me in closer for a tender cuddle, holding my head against the warmth of his chest.
"What do you think of my island?" I gingerly ask. His fingers run through my scalp relaxing me as my eyes start to slowly become heavy.
"It's very creative, darling. You certainly have an eye for detail, although I already knew that and wouldn't expect anything less from you." A tone of flattery runs through his voice. "Seeing what you've done has now made me consider about getting one myself! I'm sure there's a way we can connect on it to play together right?"
"What really?" I jolt my head up to look at his face. A huge smile bares his lips as he nods and hums in reassurance. I giggle as I settle down again against his chest.
This happy feeling is exactly what we need to sleep well tonight.

Unusual Master
@juminweek2019
Day Three: Video Games
"Damn it!" You tossed your controller onto the coffee table and folded your arms over your chest, pouting. "Yoosung, this level is impossible! I have no idea what to do, I've been using the specials you told me to use, and they don't work!"
Disappointed, Yoosung let out a sigh and scratched the back of his head. "I know... I've been stuck on this level for well over a week. I'm sorry if I put too much pressure on you... I thought you would be able to beat it."
"But I can!" You shouted, grabbing the controller and slamming the buttons in quick succession. "I can do this! I can do this!"
"You can do this!" Yoosung chanted, his voice growing louder over the phone's audio.
A death cry echoed through the penthouse. The antagonist's bellowing laugh reverberated through your eardrums, and his final blow of words set you over the edge: "You suck."
"... Yeah, I can't do this." You huffed, tossing the controller onto the floor and wrapping your arms over the back of the couch. "I give up Yoosung. This game is impossible. I'm going to go get some coffee and -"
"Accept your imminent defeat?" Yoosung teased.
"Says the guy who's been stuck on this level for a week!"
"Ouch. I'll leave you to it then," Yoosung laughed. "Have a good night, MC!"
"Have a good night, my butt," you mumbled, staring at the screen long after Yoosung ended the call. You had been a master at combat games since you were a little girl. What changed? Was it your sudden interest in grown-up ordeals? Was it that... your skills have finally waned?
You refused to accept the latter. You stared at the controller and, after a moment of hesitation, decided... that it was best to stop, less your temper would get the better of you.
You heard the front door open and dragged yourself from the couch. Putting on the best excitable face you could, you opened your arms towards your husband. "Jumin! Welcome back!"
"I'm happy to be welcomed by beauty such as yourself," Jumin grinned, wrapping his arms around you without a moment's hesitation. "What have you been up to today, hm?"
"Nothing," you moped, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Nothing, hm?" Jumin peeked over your head. "It looks like you kept yourself busy with a video game."
"No, Jumin. I mean quite literally nothing, as in, I haven't progressed at all from this stupid level on this stupid video game!"
Jumin blinked incredulously.
You shook your head. "Sorry. I've been stuck on this boss level for a couple of hours now."
Jumin removed his jacket and vest from his torso. "Boss level?"
"Yeah. Yoosung asked me to beat this level for him, you see. And I haven't been able to make so much as a dent."
Jumin's eyes traversed to the screen. "I'd like to try it."
This time, you were the one blinking incredulously. "Jumin, you know how to play combat games?"
"I admit, I'm a bit rusty." Jumin picked up the controller from the floor and wiped at the buttons with his nimble fingers. "The last time I played a video game was... well. When V and I were children."
"Wait, if you haven't even played since then... why do you have a Graystation?" You asked, moving closer to him.
Jumin's eyes cast down towards you. "Well. To be honest with you, I bought it to spite Yoosung and Seven. I always purchase the latest version of the Graystation to tease them because they once teased me on my gaming abilities."
"I didn't know you played!" You paused. Even if Jumin did have a Graystation, it didn't mean he knew how to work it. Shoot, he was still very iffy when it came to driving.
He plopped against the couch and restarted the level. Your eyes shot open, and you flew to his side. "Jumin, hold on. This level is like... impossible to beat. I don't think you want to take it on."
"I'd like to see how much skill I have left," Jumin smirked.
You raised your brows, smugly amused. If you couldn't beat it, there was no way he could -
And as that vainglorious thought passed through your mind, you were amazed as you saw your husband juggling the boss of the level with a flurry of combos. In his rage, the boss managed to get a few hits on Jumin's character but much less compared to the damage you had sustained.
"Jumin... Jumin, you're amazing..."
"Don't say that until I've finished," Jumin spoke slowly, his eyes plastered on the screen.
Fifty seconds. That was all it took for Jumin to overthrow the boss both you and Yoosung had struggled to restrain. Your eyes grew gradually; you couldn't believe what you had witnessed. He was so good at everything... including video games on a system he hadn't touched in years.
Placing the controller gracefully on the table, Jumin stood, pecked your cheek, and made his way to the kitchen. You followed behind him like a puppy, their master. "Jumin, I didn't know you were so good... would you mind teaching me a few tricks?"
"My love," Jumin hummed, grabbing a tumbler from under the kitchen bar. "You know I would never refuse you anything. In fact, I could never refuse you anything. But I will deny you this request."
"Why!" You pouted, tugging against his sleeve.
Jumin tilted his head towards you and winked. "A master never tells his secrets. Not even to the one he adores."
"I'll teach you something if you teach me this!"
"No."
"I'll make you breakfast every morning!"
“No.”
“I’ll kiss you everyday for ten straight minutes!
“Hm... no.”
"Come on, Jumin!!"
