Get to know your fic writer! 40 for all the artists out there, 7, 14, and 47

Hello!

40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see? Okay I would never actually ask anybody to draw this because its arguably nsfw depending on how you actually draw it but robin's description of nancy with her shirt busted open and a grenade launcher on her shoulder, and in the background robin is staring like 😵‍💫 holding a lit molotov and steve is running at her like "you gotta throw that!" lol. besides that maybe the end of Red&White etc with the champagne and nancy pulling robin's tie. or from Entirely On Purpose when they're sitting in their chairs by the window and Nancy puts her foot up on Robin's chair. those are all things that feel very visual to me but literally any art of anything from any of my fics would make me so happy!

7. How do you choose which POV to write from? The idea sort of brings the POV with it. Like I pretty much always know who I'm writing when the idea occurs to me, its all intertwined. Sometimes it starts at POV because I like to sort of switch off, or at least keep it mixed up, so ill think of ideas through the lens of the POV I want to write. I think I write Nancy more often than I write Robin so I'm probably due for a Robin POV next!

14. How do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences? I don't think i feel what they feel exactly. But I definitely write from personal experience, what i *might* feel or might have felt in a similar circumstance. But also keeping in mind that the characters aren't me and might not react the same ways. The main thing when I'm writing emotion is that I don't try to logic it out or pathologize it, it doesn't need to be explained, I don't think, it just needs to be believable. Also emotions don't happen one-at-a-time usually, there's usually something else going on, something hiding behind or fueling the most obvious feeling. Like how vanilla and chocolate arent actually opposites, right? They are just different. So a person can be happy and sad (for example) all at once, and I think that's where the tension comes from.

47. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting? I revise throughout. As I write I'll go back and change things and add things to earlier sections, move parts around as the overall picture comes into focus. Then I do one big proofread/edit/revision when its done, before posting it. And then I usually read it again a couple days after its posted to clean up punctuation/italics/a line i hated that i only just figured out how to fix etc.

✩↣ soulmate!AU: Soulmate!au: physically feel the pain whenever your soulmate gets hurt. vice versa. (ah, I'm not good at explaining)

✩↣ a/n: no one proofread this so i may say that this will be poorly written and will edit out grammar mistakes or mistakes in general tomorrow.

✩↣ a/n 2: this was a wip from two months ago, which i just continued writing to get rid of my writers block, so again, halfway through this drabble will be poorly written.

✩↣ word count: 861

"Y/n!" You heard from a distance, turning around seeing someone walking fast towards you. "Hey, mister director! What brings?" You closed your eyes and waved at the so called Director, stopping in front of you, holding his knees, breathing heavily.

"H-here's the script for the next shooting!" Handing you stacked-stapled papers, "Oh! Thank you!" You took the script. "Oh and, when's the shooting?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'll just text you, but please memorize your lines as soon as possible!" The Director answered, still panting.

"Ah!" You closed your eyes, putting your hand on the bridge your nose, feeling pain, like something hit it hard, really hard. "Are you okay? Y/n?" The director looked at you, wearing a concerned face. You ignored the question, still holding your nose, breathing heavily by the pain, forcing your eyelids to close. The director is sure that you're not okay, so he decided to pat your back to make you a bit better, its the only way he can help at the moment. He knows that you've been feeling pain for the past couple of days, "Your soulmate seems to hurt themselves alot." He broke the only sound of you groaning and panting, still patting your back. "Well yeah, they might be in a fight or something, god." you pinched your nose to where it hurts, guess what, it made the pain even more worse. "Come on y/n, please rest and wait for that pain to fade." The director continued patting your back, "I'll drive you home."

You woke up to your apartment, no one being there, remembering who drove you in. Covering yourself with your own blanket, waking up in your own cozy bed.

"Hm?" you heard ringing and vibrating, you looked at the table beside you, "Mr. Director?" You asked yourself as you pick up your phone, seeing the name displaying in your phone that you said seconds ago.

You answered the call, "Hello?"

"Ah y/n! You're awake!" Hearing the street sounds and a bit of the cars engines running through the phone.

"Is your nose fine now? Sorry if I have to leave early though, my niece got hit hard on accident so I had to leave immediately." The director added.

"Oh, it's okay! How long was I asleep?" Your eyebrows narrowed, in the need for answers.

"Not that long, you slept immediately when I put you on the bed." "OH! I also cooked curry for you, it's on the table at the kitchen!"

"Oh, thank you, and I hope your niece will be okay..!"

"Thank you, y/n. I gotta go now, bye and rest." He hung up. Your nose still hurts but it didn't hurt much compared to before.

You lay down again, unable to get off the bed, feeling your nose aching, making you have less energy to do something, anything.

After some minutes of just laying on the bed and consciously staring at the ceiling, you finally decided to get off bed and walked to the kitchen to eat the curry that the director cooked and left for you.

After some time your nose didn't hurt that much anymore, so you decided to watch tv. as you were watching your phone ringed. another call from the manager.

you picked it up, with the manager saying: ” hey y/n, can you come here at where you passed out? i think i just found your soulmate. ”

your eyes furrowed by the words the director have said. my soulmate?— you asked yourself. you never prioritized on finding the one, but if the director is serious about this then might as well know who this person is.

” ahh, okay i'll go there now. thanks for the curry again, mr. director ” you smiled as you were about to pick up your car keys, leaving your apartment, locking the door and dipped.

you arrived at the said place, you saw the director just right there with another person, with blonde messy hair, giving you off the bad boy sweaty guy vibe.

you were not impressed by your vision of the man who you assumed was the said soulmate. ” so uhm, I'm gonna assume that this is my soulmate? ” you said, worried.

” okay uhh, y/n.. can you feel this? ” he did a little nudge on the blondie's nose, he flinched and so did you. the director keeps lightly tapping atsumu's bruised nose, with you reacting the same as him.

” hey hey hey okay okay okay! we get it we're soulmates! ” you spread your arms to make the director stop ” ah great! ”

both you and atsumu narrowed your eyebrows, not only that you two just met, you two are also chosen as soulmates, making this situation a bit awkward.

” Y/n meet atsumu, pro-volleyball player and atsumu meet y/n a movie star and is also a cast in my upcoming film! ” the director giggled knowing two closest people he know, are made for each other.

atsumu raised his arm for a handshake, ” nice to meet you y/n. ”

you accepted the handshake, ” nice to meet you too, atsumu. ”

” so wanna hang out some time and get to know each other? ”

” sure, go heal that nose of yours first before we do so. ”
