So I noticed a parallel in Arc 4 that may be intentional 👀 Could the Wizard’s dynamic with Dasein have been foreshadowed by Samantha’s dynamic with her invisible familiar, whose name (like Dasein’s) changes multiple times as the story goes on? 😳🤯

Holy fuck I just got to karamelle and it's I think my favorite world so far writing wise? Polaris did a really cool thing with depicting the authoritarianism of the world, but karamelle so far seems to be a very in your face fascist state. Candy is happyness, workers are forced into unsafe conditions knowingly imposed by the leadership, and they have a charismatic figurehead who is charge of everything and forces you to sing happy state songs all day. Truly grim.
