My niece sends me TikToks she does and I don't know how to stop them when they're over. Like, it'll just start again or it'll go into like, the next TikTok that's waiting and I'm like 'Goddammit!' It's like my niece dancing and being cute and then immediately a TikTok starts where a girl is crying into her phone where I'm like 'I don't wanna fucking watch some teenage girl crying and talking.' So infuriating. And I'm like, oh, now I'm this person that's just like, 'Can you turn this VCR off?'

Afternoon Song
Drink My Way Through Christmas - Karen Kilgariff
I'll tell you what I want this year for Christmas
You keep your money and your candles and your cheer
Maybe it's the thought that counts, I just want a forty ounce
I know you're listening, Santa
Don't act like you can't hear me
I wanna drink my way through Christmas
I want a whiskey and a beer
I wanna drink my way through Christmas
Have some fun and zero out the year, oh-oh
I'll be that girl who's always dancing on a table
I'll be that girl who has to whisper in your ear
Start at two, pass out by ten
Wake up, throw up, start again
Lose all sense of time and have no fear
I wanna drink my way through Christmas
Big ol' bottle of whiskey and a shit-load of beer
I wanna drink my way through Christmas
Have some fun then zero out the year, oh-oh

So many of the podcasts I listen to, I wonder longingly why the hosts haven't guested on the others
Why hasn't Geoffrey James done Never Seen It, or Sports Bullies the Game*, or All Fantasy Everything (especially considering they're network mates)?
Why haven't the Worst Idea fellas done AFE? Or Review Revue? They've displayed their ability to improv
Why hasn't Ian Karmel done NSI, Do You Need a Ride?, or I Said No Gifts!?
I could go on, but these are the things I pine for
*P.S. Where the fuck did Sports Bullies go? I miss it badly

POV: You start listening to the latest DYNAR and IMMEDIATELY have to pause.
Chris Fairbanks: Hello, Karen, my friend.
Karen Kilgariff: Hello, Chris, my friend. How are you?
Chris Fairbanks: Good. We're speaking right after I almost made a grave mistake. I'm leaving tomorrow, so I was going to give myself a haircut, and then I thought–
Karen Kilgariff: No.
Chris Fairbanks: "This could go wrong, and if it did, Karen would notice." It's another one of those WWKD situations. Would Karen cut her hair? I'm not worried about fucking it up and then these shows, all the audience seeing that I gave myself some weird asymmetrical haircut–
Karen Kilgariff: You're worried about the lip I would give you about it?
Chris Fairbanks: I just, 'cause I honor your lip.
Karen Kilgariff: Well, finally. Finally someone does.
